Then again i wasn't surprised, this wasn't the first time they've done this.They've bullied me, others, even my friend Rainbow Dash. but by now i was sick of it sick of the fact they always got away with it, i hate bullies and these guys were now exception. Today they were making fun of a small filly she had yellow fur and long pink hair, the emotions on her face were a mix of terror and fright, That's when i stepped in. "Okay guys cmon leave her alone" i said. The three colts turned to me, the leader of there group or so i assumed spoke up "oh and i suppose your going to make us?" I moved in front of The yellow furred filly, i was about to reply when from above "no but i will". i looked up to see rainbow dash gliding down and stopped next to me. "oh look its Rainbow Crash" one of the colts taunted. There was a big argument and finally Rainbow challenged them to a race. "Okay tomorrow at noon" said the lead bully. "sounds like a deal" Rainbow Dash replied. After the colts left Rainbow turned to the Yellow filly to make sure she was alright, then flew off to practice for her race tomorrow. I started to trot away then turned around to see the Yellow filly had done the same we stayed like that for a few minutes then went our separate paths. The Time arrived for Rainbows Race. I sat my self near the front stands, the race was about to begin. As i looked around i saw the the 4 ponies were lined up at the starting line. as I looked even farther I was surprised to see that the yellow filly from yesterday was holding the checkered flag. Then she swished it through the air and the 4 ponies burst forward. However, as they passed the yellow filly she lost her balance and fell off the cloud at first i wasn't worried but when she didn't come back up i jumped off the cloud and sped down as i had expected she was plummeting towards the ground below. I got closer and closer then I suddenly stopped, i blinked a couple of times to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me a large group of butterflies had caught the young filly and slowly brought her to the ground. as i touched down near by i realized she had begun to sing, i watched mesmerized. However i was know out of my trance when i heard a huge explosion I looked up to see a wave of Rainbow explode in the sky and i immediately thought "Rainbow Dash". When I looked back at the filly I saw that the animals had scattered and she was going around telling them it was safe now, and much to my surprise the came out and as she lay down on the grass a flash of light came from her flank and when i looked over a trio of butterflies had appeared. After watching all this happen i flew back towards Clouds dale Relieved that the filly was safe. when i got up there a colt looked over and said "hey Storm congrats you got your cutie mark!" i looked down to see a Lighting Bolt with a pair of wings jutting out on each side, i laughed out loud as this realization hit me i had finally earned my cutie mark. As i opened my curtains The View of Ponyville filled my window In the distance i could see Sweet Apple Acres, closer to town I could see the large tree which housed the town library, Next to that was Sugar Cube Corner. As I gazed over Ponyville i saw a strange cloud house off in the distance it reminded me of home, of Cloudsdale. I snapped out of my Trance and went downstairs to begin my day. That afternoon I was on my way home when all of a sudden I noticed a large group of ponies. As I came closer i heard somepony yelling, finally I broke through the crowd and what I saw displeased me. Standing there was a Griffon in front of it was a small yellow Pegasus with a pink mane, the griffon was yelling at the small pony, the mare looked terrified. I recognized the mare from somewhere i racked my memory trying to remember, then i saw her cutie mark a trio of butterflys, and this something clicked inside my head. Flight school i thought then it all came back to me The bullies the fall the sonic rainboom and when I got my cutie mark. I sighed as i thought to my self "some things never change". I stepped forward "HEY BIRD BRAINS" I yelled at the griffon, the griffon turned around and looked at me. "excuse me" she said. "why don't you leave the lady alone" I said as I moved in front of the yellow mare. "oh why don't you make me" she said swinging her claw at me. I ducked "now lets not make this messy" I said and of course griffons being the impulsive creatures that they are did exactly the opposite, she charged me. I sighed as I turned around and bucked as hard as I could. "WHAM" she went flying straight into a wall. I turned to the yellow mare, "you all right" I asked she shook her head yes, "say whats your name" I said. She was about to reply when suddenly the look of terror appeared on her face again. it only took a split second for me to realize what scared her, "oh Buc-" I never finished my sentence cause at that moment I was slammed and was sent skimming across the ground. I got up and wiped my mouth blood stained on my fur, now i was angry, I smiled "griffon you just messed with the wrong pony" I said then I charged. It was a short fight but it was brutal, when it was over the griffon had a black eye and had patches of feathers missing all over her body, "i will get ya back for this mark my words you measly pony" she yelled, then she flew off. the crowed cheered I limped over to the yellow mare "that wasn't so bad" i said then I blacked out. From what i could tell i was in Ponyville hospital. Suddenly, i felt something rub against my back legs, i looked down only to see the yellow mare that i had met earlier, her forelegs lay like a pillow underneath her head her wings were tightly wrapped around her as the rest of her body lay near the end of the bed. I watched for a time seeing her rise and fall as she inhaled and exhaled. i had to admit she looked cute when she slept. I then shifted so as to get into a more comfortable position, unfortunately the caused her to awaken. The Yellow mare rubbed her eyes as she woke up from her little nap. However, as soon as she looked at me, her pupils shrank down to about 3 times its original size. "Oh my i am so sorry i didn't mean to- i just- I'm sorry!" she said as she panicked, then by accident she fell off the bed and landed on the floor in front of it. "are you okay?" i asked while trying to suppress a laugh. her head popped up "um I'm fine" she replied. "Sorry about that" she said, "whats there to be sorry for?" I asked. "Um i-i don't- im sorr-" i stopped her "its ok you don't need to say sorry". An awkward silence settled for a few minutes before i asked "so i never caught that name", she looked up and stared at me as if trying to understand what i was saying "oh um yeah my name is..." She mumbled the last couple of words. "I am sort i didn't quite catch that" i said. Then she spoke up "um my names Fluttershy". "What a cute name" i said, the comment made her blush the she smiled at me "thanks". "Hold on a sec i recognize you" i said "hmm?" Fluttershy said looking at me in confusion. Yeah now i remember you and i went to flight school together!" I said excited, Flutters eyes opened wide "oh my gosh your right i remember you now, i never got to thank you though" she said. Now it was my turn to give her a confused look "for what?" I asked "for getting rid of those bullies" she replied. " well it wasn't just me, Rainbowdash also helped". As soon as i said her name the door burst open and a group of about 5 ponies galloped into the room surrounding Fluttershy i heard mixed voices of worry. I smile realizing these were her friends. The i noticed some in the crowed of ponies i saw a rainbow colored mane, there was only one pony i knew that had a rainbow mane. "Rainbowdash?" I asked, a head popped out of the mass of ponies, it was Rainbowdash. It took her a moment to recognize me the her eyes it up, "StormWing?".
