A thousand years ago, the Crystal Empire was never saved. The darkness continued to spread, and brought havoc to everything within his control. The kingdoms used their unity to create a barrier of light, stopping the darkness.
It was kept a secret from everypony until a great depression broke the light, and darkness swept across Equestria. Now it is up to Twilight to find the light within her friends, and stop the darkness once and for all. But what happens when all of them lose their light? What will they use to fight back the darkness?
