“Well this is nice” I thought to my self, I was having that dream again the one where I could fly. I was souring over what looked like a small town, a very odd one with a tree for a library and what looked like a giant ginger bread house. Then it happened, that falling feeling you can get while you’re asleep usually you wake up as if on command right? Well I trained my brain to stay asleep so I could keep having those awesome dreams but then I felt … well pain.
I woke up to the feeling of crashing though a shit ton of tree branches, it’s a miracle I didn’t break myself in the fall instead of a few twigs but the ground came up to meet me all to soon.
“The hell?” was all I could mange as I lay there surrounded by twigs and acorns completely bewildered as to how I got from my bed in my apartment to where ever the hell I was at the time. Then I heard it what started as a slight rumble in the back of my head turned into several low growls, I quickly got up to my knees knowing if I stood up to soon id just end up back on my ass. What I saw sort of looked like wolves but they were entirely made out of sticks and mud. I honestly just thought I hit my head harder then I first thought, till I looked down and saw that I hand landed on one of them crushing it to pieces.
“This cant be happing none of this is re-“I was cut off when one lunged at me successfully sending both me and it tumbling through a bush and down a hill. I’m not sure how many other trees and bushes we hit on the way down but I was sore all over by the time we stopped. It had gotten up first and now had me pinned, thinking it was the end I simply closed my eyes and waiting for it to tear my throat out or something but then I heard a voice.
“You leave that poor creature alone right now you mean ol timberwolf.”All I heard from theTimberwolf? Was a small whining sound, agenst my better judgment I opened my eyes to see what was happening then I saw them….those damn eyes will haunt me for years if not till I die and it wasn’t even looking at me. The strange winged horse had the softest yellow coat I’ve ever seen and pinkish hair and it was staring straight at the wolf thing, the last thing I remember is it running off before I fainted.
Saying I awoke in a dizzy haze would be a understatement, I felt like some one had taken a potato masher to my brain and when I tried to open my eyes all I saw was strange colors. Could have sworn I heard a few voices too, but in the state I was in I wouldn’t be surprised if I was just crazy. When my vision did finally clear however all I saw was a purple horse with a spike coming out of its forehead staring down at me with eyes that only seemed to mirror pure amazement.
“THE FUCK?!” was all I could manage as I tried to move away but I seemed to be laying one some kind of bed so my head only pushed further into the mattress, I think I may have heard a spring pop out of the bottom of it. The horse jumped at my sudden reaction to seeing it and disappeared in a flash of bright purple. Needless to say I was confused beyond belief, maybe some one drugged my food at that party last night hell if I knew. That’s when a small yet oddly familiar voice came from out of sight.
“Uhm h-hello?” I sat up and looked around seeing again that small yellow horse with what seemed to be wings? Then the memory of those eyes came rushing back sending me into a fit of hysterical laughter as well as tears.
“Oh goody it laughs!” came another voice this one belonging to a bright pink horse with an almost bubble gum colored puff of hair. It was official I was freaking crazy, just then the purple one showed back up between the other two. She introduced them all as Twilight Sparkle, her yellow winged friend was FlutterShy and the pink one was Pinkie Pie she seemed nice enough.
“You must be wondering about where you are and what’s going on?” Twilight asked in a way a scientist might.
“Well yeah, that mean you got answer for me horse?” I said tilting my head to the side having finally calmed down enough to speck normally.
“As I said my name is Twilight, but yes I shall fill you in on the basics if you will so kindly listen” she stated smiling.
“Sure” I just shrugged I knew I wasn’t going anywhere any time soon.
