Running Away or Escaping?
zoom! I watch the pony fly high up into sky as I stood on the balcony of my room. I sighed as I turned away for a second then looked back. I wish I could be free from this castle. Everyone thinks being a princess is awesome.. Well it's not Being a princess is well. Useless. Stupid. Pathetic! My parents don't let me do anything. My thoughts all swirled in my head as anger yet frustration clouded my feelings. I just want to- My thoughts got interrupted as Cadence gently tapped my shoulder. I turned around and looked at her a bit shocked thinking that she could of heard my thoughts. Stupid me. "Time for dinner, Frostlight." Cadence with her usual peppy face. "Okay" I said a bit awkwardly. I joined her side except walked a little slower making me fall behind and Cadence leading the way. Cadence kept glancing back at me worried. It seemed a bit stupid I'm normally always like this. Depressed. Maybe I was acting more depressed. Things have just been really annoying lately. "You okay?" Cadence questioned. I shrugged "I'm fine.. I guess." I slowly then continued to walk until Cadence halted in front of me. "Fine? I'm your sister I know your not fine." Cadence joked. I managed a smile and a little giggle. "Heh Yeah." "C'mon Little Sister" Cadence sneered. I shot her a jokingly look. I really sincerely hated it but with Cadence I usually let it slide.
Cadence opened the dinning room door is we both walked in Night and Thunderblast (Parents) had not yet got here. It was me and Cadence. I sat down in my usual spot, as well with cadence. Night and Thunderblast came in chatting about something loudly. I looked up from the table at them as the sat down. It was quite quiet, I clanked my fork against my dish trying to make it less awkward. "So Cadence how was your day?" Night asked her. Cadence finished eating what she had in her mouth then replied. "It was very good. How about yours?" Night nodded her head then spoke. "It was well also." I kinda zoned out a bit as the kept talking, I really think Night and Thunderblast hate me. They never ask me how my day was or if I was alright and they never. Ever. Let me do anything outside the castle. "Frostlight" Cadence whispered as she kicked my leg from underneath the table. I quickly stoned back in. "Yeah?" I whispered back a bit confused. "Remember are talk earlier?" I then remembered I was telling Cadence earlier about how I've always wanted to fly outside of the castle grounds, Cadence told me that I should ask Night and Thunderblast. I then nodded and cleared my throat. "Uhm. Night? Thunderblast?" I started but obviously they didn't care to pay attention. So I decided to just go on with the question. "Can I fly outside the castle?" They instantly looked at me and started laughing. What? "Of course not" They started laughing like they usually do. I wanted to scream! Instead I ran out pushing the dinning room door open. I ran down the hall as quick as I could, when I got to my bedroom I slammed the door shot and flopped onto the my bed. I wanted to cry but instead I got angry it was all just stupid. My parents. STUPID! After I cooled down I knew at that moment what I had to do.
