while twilight is studying in her library,trixie comes back to pony ville ,but instead of challenging twilight to a duel she gives her a magic mirror and says if she says a certain spell she will look like who she wants in the mirror.

when twilight tries the spell she is sucked into an alternate universe where every won who was a mare was a colt, and every one who was a colt was a mare.

with her appearance changed(along with her cutie mark)can she survive the new residents of ponyville especially the male versions of her friends and herself.

It was a beautiful day in ponyville the birds were singing,the sun was shining and every pony was outside enjoying it,

All except for twilight who was busy in one of her long term study seasons.

she was studying the book from a secret door in one of the library book shelfs, deep in the book on a chapter about manticore

biology also using the other books in her library to further her studies. From down stairs(the main floor)she heard the sound

of the front door open and close in a way that seemed simultaneous along with the familiar young frantic voice that shared her

home with her that said"TWILIGHT...TWILIGHT!!!!" It was spikes voice that she heard as he burst threw her bedroom door

with a fearful look on his face that got her concerned "WHAT!" as she shouted in surprise when he burst in the door. "SHES BACK" he said continuing to shout, twilight was confused an worry was visible in her facial appearance now "whose back?" said twilight still confused. "TRIXIE THATS WHO" spike said still shouting for some reason "COULD YOU STOP SHOUTING PLEASE SPIKE!" spike flinched at twilight's sudden out burst so he quieted his voice down not wanting to hear twilight shout again "sorry twilight" spike replied "thank you, how tell me what about trixie?."

For the next hour in and a half spike explained that trixie was waiting on the outskirts of ponyville for twilight. Under standing completely why spike was upset about this seeing how the show mare vowed revenge on twilight last time they met twilight was just as worried as spike. Twilight then began to pack her saddle bags full of things she might need several books on advanced spells,rain cloak(in cased it might rain)40 bits(for shopping later) and a new hat she had received from rarity's boutique (it was a nice hat, to her any ways). as she headed for the door she heard her assistant say "be careful twilight!" she turned around and smiled at her assistant and said "i will!" as she departed the library.

As twilight walked to the out skirts of ponyville her worry from earlier began to return,questions began to arrive in her mind such as what would be the challenge?, what would happen if she won ? what if she lost? and most importantly why would trixie(the most boastful pony in all of aquesria) want to challenge her to a duel away from the rest of ponyville? As she contemplated this she began to see the blue show mare came into view the first thing she noticed was that the mare was pulling a wagon that she must have bought some where else
