Donovan Chase is a Private Investigator who operates in and amongst the streets of England. One day, he receives a request for help from a visitor. Obliged to solve the case and excited about the chance to visit new surroundings, Donovan accompanies his new acquaintance to the small town of Ponyville, where the usual state of peace and tranquility has been compromised.

The universe in which this story takes place is a variation of the one used in "Gentlemen for Mares" by Demon Eyes Laharl. Namely, a universe where humanity and Equestrians have established contact and both races interchange citizens frequently. The setting is used with his permission.
