Under these dim lights we slave away, as dim as these lights, and with them our hopes may seem, we see dimmer still progress towards this undefined goal. Silent songs play about these caverns, echoed with whispered questions. Will we ever go home?
Under the dim light of magic around us we work, we slave, we tire and we dissolve. We dissolve within our hopelessness, our strength fading after all these years. I quietly thank these lights around us, for when they go out, these eyes around us show not a spark. Silent songs play about these caverns, echoed with whispered questions.
