Chapters 20 YEARS BEFORE SEASON 1
A Royal Guard was walking his usual lap around the Gardens surrounding the Royal Castle. It was a typical night, the moon was shining, thanks to Princess Celestia, who now raises both the Moon and the Sun. It was a normal night. The guard turns a corner, looking at the newest statue.
It was of an angel, but this statue depicted a creature that stood on it's hind legs, and had little stubs on his hooves. It was an odd statue, as it was covering it's eyes, as if it were crying. Again, it was an odd statue. The Guard turns the corner, away from the angel.
Nopony ever saw him again.
RRRRR! RRRRR! RRRRR! RRRRR!
A blue box appears on the edge of the Everfree Forest, with the words "POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX" written across the top. Nopony notices it, as nopony is around. A brown stallion walks out, looking around the area before coming out completely. "Ah... Present day Ponyville! C'mon out, Derpy! It's all clear!"
"Hold on, Doctor... I got my wing stuck on the grates... again..."
"Really, Derpy? Oh, well, hold on."
As the brown stallion walked back into the blue box, on the other side of town, Twilight Sparkle and her friends had heard the noise, faintly, but still, they heard it. So, they took to the books to try and find what probably caused it. After a few minutes of searching, there was one book left.
"Girls, I think I found it..." Fluttershy says under her breath, but none of her friends hear her. They continue to brainstorm ideas for what could have possibly caused the noise, but all came out flat. "Um... Girls..." Again, nopony hears Fluttershy. Fluttershy takes a deep breath...
"Girls...!" She says somehow even quieter than the other times, but for some reason, her friends hear her this time. "Hm? Fluttershy, you've found something!" Twilight says with excitement. She runs up to the timid yellow Pegasus, causing her to drop the book and cower into the corner.
Twilight picks up the book with her magic, and flips through the pages.
A Blue Box is seen at various points in time, such as the assassination of Starswirl the Bearded in 1786, or the banishing of Night Mare Moon, nearly 2000 years apart. The pilot of this box is unknown, but witness accounts have said that different stallions have driven it, sometimes with another stallion, or a mare.
In event of hearing a Whooshing noise that makes the planet tremble, do not approach. If the Blue Box appears in your area, DO NOT APPROACH. THE DOCTOR IS NEAR. THE DOCTOR IS NEAR!!!!!
Twilight reads the passage to her friends, who all have dumbfounded looks on their faces. "The Doctor?" Rainbow asks. "Doctor Who?"
Twilight skims through the book again. "That's all there is. Just 'The Doctor', not 'Doctor Joe' or 'Doctor Bob', just 'The Doctor'..." Twilight paces around the library, and sighs. "I guess the only way to find out is to find the Doctor..." Rainbow Dash flies into the air, thrilled to be doing something potentially dangerous.
"All right! Let's go!" Rainbow Dash flies out the window, leaving Twilight face-hoofing in the library. "Uh... AJ, check around Sweet Apple Acres, Fluttershy and I will check around the Everfree, Pinkie, you check around Ponyville with Rarity. Okay, move out!"
So the six friends start on the search for the mysterious Doctor, not knowing what they are getting themselves into...
"Okay, Derpy, you may want to stay off that wing for a little..." The Doctor says to the grey Pegasus in front of him, who has hurt her wing from getting it stuck in one of the grates in the TARDIS. "Well, while the TARDIS refuels, let's go mingle."
"Hey, Rarity, who is this 'Doctor' guy, huh? Do you think he's nice? Or is he a meanie?! Oohhh, if he's a meanie, then he's not nice! If he's not nice then-"
"Pinkie, will you be quite for two seconds, PLEASE?!?!?!"
There is silence for a few seconds, before Pinkie repeats the question. Rarity sighs, and continues looking for a blue box. They don't have much luck. Rainbow Dash, not having any goal of where to look, flew around Cloudsdale, asking around if anyone has heard the noise or seen the box.
Again, no luck. The same had gone for Applejack, who had looked around almost every square mile of the property. Twilight and Fluttershy, however, had no idea what they were getting into. Fluttershy was flying overhead, and spotted a brown stallion, walking with a familiar grey Pegasus, with a distinctive blonde mane.
Fluttershy didn't think anything of it, and kept flying just above Twilight. After a few more minutes of walking, they find the blue box. "F-Fluttershy!" Twilight calls. Fluttershy flies down, a slight fear growing inside her. "Is... Is that it?"
"Yes. Yes it is, Fluttershy. I have the description right here... The Blue box has rectangular windows, the words 'Police Public Call Box' written across the top, and a single door... " Twilight looks up from the old piece of paper in front of her, and looks up to the blue box.
"Okay, we found it, let's go home-"
"No, Fluttershy. We should find the Doctor. Whoever he is." They walk closer to the Box, Fluttershy still wanting to turn back. They walk ever so quietly towards to box, not wanting a single soul to know they're there...
"Okay, Derpy, we've got some muffins, some tea, and the TARDIS should be fueled by now, let's head back." The Doctor and Derpy head back to the Everfree. As they walk, the Doctor thinks out loud. Again. "You know, I've always wondered how we're able to hold stuff with these stubby hooves..."
"Hey, that sounds catchy."
"What? 'Stubby Hooves'?
"No... Doctor Hooves!"
The Doctor laughs. "Aha! That's clever, Derpy! Very, very, clever- What the-?!"
Twilight and Fluttershy are very close to the blue box now. When they finally get within hoof's reach, Twilight reaches a hoof up, and reaches to touch the Blue Box... "Ahem."
Twilight gives a yelp and jumps into the air. "What?! Who-"
"Who are you?"
"I-I'm Twilight Sparkle... This is Fluttershy... Are you... The Doctor?"
The Doctor's eyes go wide. How has anyone heard of him here? "I... Ah... Yes. I am the Doctor. I assume you know my companion, Ditzy Doo." Twilight and Fluttershy can't believe that their goal was accomplished so quickly. The Doctor was right here in front of them!
"Yeah, we know Derpy. But... Who are you?"
"I told you. I'm the Doctor."
"That's a job, not a name.
"It's all I have."
"I told you. I'm the Doctor."
"That's a job, not a name."
"It's all I have. Now, If you'll excuse me, I was heading back to the TARD- Blue Box."
"Inside it?"
"Yes."
Fluttershy speaks up. "If... If you don't mind me asking, isn't it a little too small in there?" The Doctor smiles.
He turns to Derpy. "I love this part." The Doctor waves his hoof to the other two mares, and opens the door to the TARDIS. Twilight and Fluttershy are dumbfounded. "That- That- No no, no, no, no! That's not possible!" Twilight and Fluttershy move inside the TARDIS, still not believing what they're seeing.
"It's bigger on the inside!" Twilight exclaims. The Doctor laughs.
"Aha! You said it! You said it! I love it when people say it!" The Doctor bounces around the TARDIS happily.
"Wait, what? What is this?" Twilight asks. The Doctor continues to bounce around the impossible place, grinning and laughing almost exactly like Pinkie Pie, except without breaking the laws of physics. "I'm gonna ask again, what is this place?" Twilight asks gain, getting slightly annoyed. The Doctor fakes a cough, and straightens the tie around his neck. He walks up to Twilight and Fluttershy.
"You remind me of someone I used to know. She was all 'I want to know this and this' exactly like you're doing right now. Anyway, this is the TARDIS, that's Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. This, to be blunt about it, is where I, and recently, Derpy live. This machine and travel to anywhere and any-when."
"How?"
"Disappears here and reappears there. Mystical technology. Would you like to see? What do you think Derpy?"
"I think they'll be able to handle it." With that, the Doctor and Derpy take to the controls, laughing their heads off. They press buttons, pull levers, and spin a wheel, and this all causes two pole like things inside the console to go up and down.
RRRR! RRRR! RRRR! RRRR!
The Doctor and Derpy laugh one more time. "Head outside, and we'll be at the first fall of Discord!" The Doctor laughs yet again, before opening the door. The Royal Gardens, but with cotton candy clouds, and chocolate rain pouring from them. Over in the distance, Twilight and Fluttershy spot the Royal Sisters.
"Okay, because you two mares are new to this," The Doctor begins. "Don't interact with them just yet. Don't say anything about the future, and don't make yourself known. If you do, you could cause a Paradox. And that's bad. Like, really bad."
Twilight and Fluttershy nod, and look on as Celestia and Luna blast a powerful stream of magic from their horns, and turn Discord into stone.
Then, the Doctor spots a peculiar statue. One that he's seen before. One that had tried to kill him. "Derpy... Get your friends to the TARDIS..."
"Why?"
"Just do it!"
Derpy takes Fluttershy and Twilight back to the TARDIS as the Doctor looks at the Weeping Angel in front of him. "Well, I didn't think I would see you here..." The Doctor walks up to the Angel, being careful not to look at it in the eye. "So, what are you doing here?
"I know you're not here to destroy this world, right? 'Cuz if you were... Well, you know. I'd have to stop you. And believe me, I'll stop you. I haven't forgotten about Amy and Rory." The Angel is not covering it's eyes, so that means that someone was just looking at it other than himself.
"I don't know why I'm even talking to you. You can't talk back. You can't move. You can't even live as long as I stare." The Doctor pulls out his Sonic Screwdriver. "Unless, you know... I call back the TARDIS." The Doctor activates the Screwdriver, and the TARDIS materializes behind him.
"Run!" The Doctor quickly runs into the TARDIS and goes back into the present. "We've got to get back to Equestria! Go!"
RRRR! RRRR! RRRR! RRRR!
The four ponies burst out of the TARDIS, frantic to find out the Angel's hiding place. "I'm pretty sure the Angels aren't here anymore. They move when you don't look at them!" The Doctor explains, as they rush towards Twilight's library. Twilight stops.
"Doctor!"
"Twilight, we don't have time for this! Ponyville, Canterlot, ALL OF EQUESTRIA, could be in danger!"
"I'm not moving an inch until you tell me who you are!"
The Doctor looks to Fluttershy for help, but she walks over to join Twilight. "Derpy, help me out here!"
"Sorry, Doctor, but I think you should tell them."
The Doctor sighs. "...Fine. You want to know? Get ready for a ride. I'm not from this planet."
Twilight and Fluttershy's mouths agape. "B-but you look like a stallion!"
"Hey, my race came before yours did. Stallions look like me . Anyway, I'm from a planet known as Gallifrey. It was the home of my race, the Time Lords. We traveled through Time and Space, seeing the Universe unfold and how it would shape up to be.
"But, some Time Lords were greedy. They wanted to be the supreme species, which lead to the Time War between the Time Lords, and another race known as the Daleks. They are creatures, who from birth are locked in a metal shell with one word on their minds: ' Exterminate'
"The War lasted for who knows how long, but eventually... I killed them. Every last one, Time Lord, Dalek, all of them. At least, I thought I did. The Daleks survive, every time, while I loose everything. Anyway, sometimes, I travel with some 'Companions', as I call them.
"They eventually discover me, and if I think they can handle it, then I take them with me, if they want to. Some die, some leave, some just disappear. Others, I made the mistake of taking with me, so I take them back home. Luckily, Derpy has been wonderful !
"Anyway, I help people. I travel through time, wanting to not get into trouble for once, but the universe is all like 'Nope!' and makes some pony or alien want to get into trouble. So I help them. And... Well, I'll save this next part for later. We've got to go, now. "
The Doctor runs towards towards Twilight's library, needing more information on the Weeping Angels.
"Twilight, do you have any books describing a moving statue?"
"N-no!"
"Great. Nopony on this planet has ever heard of the Weeping Angels! Okay, facts you need to know, Derpy, you should already know them, the Weeping Angels are one of the oldest creatures in the universe, if you look at them, they literally turn into stone !
"And, we're both from a different universe..."
Twilight and Fluttershy nearly faint. "W-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-WHAT?!?!?!?!?!"
"Yeah, I knew that would happen. Anyway, I came here by accident. The TARDIS malfunctioned, and I landed here, just in time to rescue both Ponyville and Canterlot from living Plastic. I met Derpy, and we traveled through Time and Space." The Doctor looks to his hooves. "Hands used to be here. The TARDIS must have used whatever was working in the Chameleon Circuit to disguise me.
"I was running. Running from nothing. From my past. From my future... And ended up with the best friend ever! Anyway, Weeping Angels, where'd they come from, what are they after, and why am I talking to myself, because Twilight and Fluttershy just fainted...?" The Doctor turns to find the two mares on the ground, with Derpy looking at him with shock in her eyes.
"Ugh... Okay, Derpy, let's go find a Weeping Angel..."
"Derpy, you go to the Royal Garden, ask around if anyone has gone missing in the last... 1000 years in the area. Take the Physic Scroll." The Doctor throws the blank scroll to his companion, going on with his instructions. "I'll get these two to Nurse Redheart, and, hopefully, find somepony who knows that in the name of Luna's going on." Derpy nods and walks out the door, towards Canterlot, and starts flying.
The Doctor looks down to the passed out mares before him. "My life would be easier if I was a Unicorn..." He bends down and scoops Twilight onto his back. "And I'll come back for Fluttershy..." He shuffles out the door, in search for the hospital.
Fluttershy and Twilight are going to be fine. After the Doctor got Fluttershy to the hospital, his back was throbbing. Those mares weighed more than they looked. A mare's wight stays secret. The Doctor looks around the Library one last time, and doesn't find anything. "Guess I'll go find Derpy..." The Doctor turns and walks out of the tree and goes to Rarity's boutique.
He doubted Rarity knew anything about the Weeping Angels, but it was better than nothing.
Derpy walked around the Royal Gardens for a guard. She hadn't found any, and was starting to lose hope. If they didn't find this 'Weeping Angel', then, well, Equestria was screwed. As she turned a corner, she finally spotted a guard. She ran up to him, panting when she got there.
"Hi! I'm... Derpy.... Hooves... I need.... to ask you.... a question...."
"Uh... sure... what is it, kid?"
"Kid?! I'm twenty-three! Anyway, has anypony gone missing in the last 1000 years?" The Guard tensed up.
"How... Why are you asking?"
"Because, it could mean the fate of Equestria!"
"That's.... That's not my problem..."
Derpy nearly hoofed him in the face. "What do you mean that's not your problem ?!?!"
"I... Look, I don't know anything, so run home, and get outta here!"
"Of all the things I've heard in my life! And believe me, I've heard some crazy things! But that... It's your job to protect Equestria!! It is your problem !!!!" Derpy was flaring with anger. How could this guard be so rude? He's sworn to protect Equestria with his life!
"Nope."
That drove Derpy over the edge. She threw her hoof into his face, making him stumble backwards with a grunt, and he turns around to meet the Weeping Angel. "W-Wha-!?" Derpy closed her eyes as the Angel was left standing without the Guard.
"Doctor!"
"Derpy? Are you back yet?" The Doctor yells, just outside Rarity's boutique. She hadn't heard of the Weeping Angels, so he had thanked her anyway, and left. "Hm... I should go check. To the TARDIS!... Who am I talking to?" The Doctor shrugs and trots to the Everfree Forest.
RRRR! RRRR! RRRR! RRRR!
"Derpy? Are you here- Derpy!"
"Doctor!"
The Doctor runs over to Derpy, who still has her eyes closed. "D-Don't open your eyes! I'm pretty sure they've replaced every statue here with an Angel..." The Doctor takes out the Sonic Screwdriver and scans the area. "Yep. We're surrounded, RUN!"
The Doctor puts a hoof on Derpy's back and leads her to the TARDIS, careful not to trigger any Angels. Once they were safe in the TARDIS, Derpy opens her eyes. "D-Doctor... What the hell is going on?!" The Doctor runs to the controls, and sets thew time for the present, Twilight's Library.
"Weeping Angels replaced every statue in Equestria with an Angel. Don't blink or look away when you see one."
"How do we kill them?"
The Doctor looks at Derpy, and has a grim look on his face. "Paradox. Someone will have to die, that's already come in contact with an Angel. This happened once before to me. In my home Universe. There's this place called New York.... Oh, my God... I don't want to lose someone..."
The Doctor looks to be on the verge of tears. "I'm not loosing anypony today. No Dragon, no Griffon, and especially not my best friend!" The Doctor activates the TARDIS, and the engines make the WHOOSHING sound once again.
The TARDIS materializes in the center of Twilight's Library, and the Doctor and Derpy rush out. "We need to get the Elements of Harmony, and... Someone willing to be touched by an Angel..." The Doctor goes quite as they rush to the Hospital. Twilight and Fluttershy should be okay by now.
They reach the Hospital, and rush in, passing the desk worker. "Sorry, emergency!" Derpy says as they run past. "Okay, Twilight and Fluttershy are in room number..." The Doctor says as he stops and #390, and pulls out his Screwdriver and opens the door.
"Get up, mares, we're getting you outta here!"
The Doctor gets some weird looks from two random mares they have never met before.
"Whoops... Sorry..." The Doctor grabs Derpy and they slowly back out, closing the door behind them. "That's weird, they should be in there... Where'd they go?" The Doctor ponders for a moment before heading back down to the front desk.
"You need to get a visitors pass!"
The Doctor waves a hoof and shuts her up. "Two mares, one purple an one yellow. One a bookworm and the other very timid. Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy. Where are they?"
"I-I- They checked out a few minutes ago!"
"Did they tell you where they were going?"
"No!"
"Thank you for cooperating. Now, goodbye. Let's go, Derpy." The two ponies walk out, heading back into the Library. The Doctor and Derpy sit in silence, thinking about ideas.
"I'll do it."
"What?"
"The Paradox. I'll do it."
"Derpy- No! No, no, no, no, no! Y-You can't! I'm not losing another friend to them! I've lost Amy and Rory, I'm not losing you!"
"Doctor... I've made my decision. How are we going to do it?"
"The Angels will send you back in time. You'll become Time-Locked, so I won't be able to come and get you with the TARDIS."
"Is there some other time-travel device?"
"Time Vortex Manipulator, though they're the work of Time-Agents from my universe. We can't get them here." The Doctor's voice is shaking a little, enough where it almost sounds like a whimper, like when he Regenerated from his tenth body to his eleventh.
"So... How are we going to do it?"
"... I... I could check if there's a small hole in the Void between dimensions, if there is, then I could contact my friends, Captain Jack Harkness, or my wife, River Song."
"Wife?"
"Yeah. Anyway, let's go."
The TARDIS controls shudder as the Doctor walks in. "Old thing's about to break. I'll have to find the manual... That I threw into a black hole..." The Doctor face-hoofs, and walks to the console. "Derpy, place your hoof on that pedal there, and pull that lever."
"And I'll spin this spinney thingy, and pull this pulley thingy, and... That should do it!"
The TARDIS whirrs, and an image of the Time Vortex is shown. "The hole in the Void is left over from when My friend, Rose Tyler, and I fought the Daleks and Cybermen, who were fighting each other. This hole, is what could save us from the Angels!"
The Doctor slams his hoof on a big red button, and a screen pops out from the TARDIS console. "Computer, show me... Captain Jack Harkness of Torchwood Three." The Screen beeps for a little, then a man with light skin and black hair appears on the screen.
"Who is this? UNIT? The United Nations?"
"Hello, Jack."
"Who are you?" The man hits his screen, and his eyes go wide. "A... Pony.... Gwen? Is this some kind of joke?"
"Jack it's me. The Doctor. I'm trapped in this Universe full of ponies, and now, I'm a pony. See?" The Doctor smiles merrily and waves a hoof in front of his face. "Anyway, Derpy, get over here! Come meet Jack!" Derpy walks over to the Doctor, who hugs her.
"Anyway, we need some help. Could you send a spare Time Vortex Manipulator over through a hole in the Void?"
"Sure... Are you sure your the Doctor?"
"Yes. Tell him, Derpy!"
"He appeared one day in this blue box, saved me from Living Plastic, and now, I'm his companion, he calls himself the Doctor, I call him the Doctor, he's the Doctor."
"Okay. The Manipulator should be there in a few minutes. See you soon, Doctor."
"Hopefully, Jack. Hopefully..." The screen turns off.
A capsule appeared in the center of the TARDIS, glowing from the trip across the Void. "Here it is, Derpy. The thing that'll kill you. Are... Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?" Derpy nods her head, and the Doctor's heart drops. "...Well, then..."
The Doctor opens the capsule with his Sonic Screwdriver, revealing the wrist-watch like device. "Just... Be safe until I find you, okay?"
"I'll be fine, Doctor."
"You're right... Now, I just strap this on, and bada bing, I have Time Travel without the TARDIS. Let's go find an Angel..." The two ponies walk out of the TARDIS, knowing what is about to happen. "I'm sure the Angels have already replaced every single statue in Equestria. We have to make sure we spot an older you."
"What?"
"You will get sent back in time by an Angel, so we need to find an older you, see her die, so that it's a fixed point in time, and then, you have to die in the present..."
"I thought the plan was-"
"That plan won't work, I had a brain fart- Whoa!!" The TARDIS shudders and rocks, causing the Doctor and Derpy to go sprawling around on the floor. "Stop it, stop it," The Doctor runs up to the controls and pulls a lever, and the TARDIS stops. "Stop it! What was that, eh? Huh?"
"Doctor, what's going on?"
"I have absolutely no idea Derpy. Someone might'ave been sent back in time. The question is... who?" The Doctor turns to the door of the TARDIS and walks out. "Let's go, Derpy."
"Who was it? What am I missing? Somepony was sent back in time by an Angel... Who?" The Doctor pulls out his Sonic Screwdriver and scan the area, but comes up short. "Ugh... Nothing. Let's go see if we can find Twilight and her friends."
It took some time, but they eventually managed to find Twilight. "There you are, Ms. Sparkle! We've been looking everywhere for you!" The Doctor runs up to Twilight and pulls out his Screwdriver and scans her. "Definitely Twilight. Not a living plastic copy, not some... After life image, or Cyber-Pony... It's Twilight."
"What are you talking about? Of course I'm me!"
"Yes, but I had to be sure. Somepony was sent back in time, and I need to know who it was. If the Angels are in Ponyville... Celestia help us all. Whup.. Something just occurred to me. If the Angels crossed over from my Universe... did something else? I hope not, but if another me came, then we may have a better chance. Or maybe even Rose. That'll be good, too. And if Jack came here... If he was a pony... Don't let him near a bed with another mare. Or Stallion. Or griffon. Or Drag- you know what? Don't let him near a bed."
"Anyway, we need to create a Paradox, Doctor, we need to find the older me." Derpy reminds him.
"Oh, yes! Come along, mares! Oh, that reminds me of the Ponds... Well, Allons-y!"
"What?"
"It's French for 'Let's go'."
Then, the three ponies walked around Ponyville, looking for the other Bearers of Harmony, hoping for a chance to beat the Weeping Angels. "The Elements are unnecessary for this situation. I would, however, like you guys to tell ponies that it was you who defeated the Angels. My name kinda... attracts baddies if it goes down in History."
At the Royal Sister's throne room, Princess Celestia was sitting next to her sister, who were using magic to watch over the residents of Equestria. Unbeknownst to them, they were in great danger. As nopony was looking at the statues outside, the Weeping Angels were moving freely through the air, unable to be seen even by magic.
The Doctor did not know the Angels' plan, so I will not tell you, but I'm sure you know already. The Guards outside the door were prepared for anything, standing confidently, sworn to protect the land of Equestria with their lives. The Guards barely ever blinked, but they did when they had to.
And so, they happen to do so in perfect union.
When they open their eyes, five statues appear in front of them, two of them covering their eyes as if crying, and the other three with demonic appearances, with sharp eyes and claws prepared to gore. "Ah! Halt! Who are you?!"
The Guards start to back away, not taking their eyes off the statues, and act that saves the two's lives. They open the doors and back into the Royal Throne Room, and close the doors, still pointing their spears. "Princesses! Stay put!" One of the Guards yell.
"What is the meaning of this?" Celestia asks.
"Moving statues! Just as the Lavender Stallion said!"
"Sister, what is the Guard talking about?"
"... Call the Doctor."
"My Princess, are you sure? Has it come down to this?!"
"Luna... My dear Sister... Call the Elements."
"Yes, my Sister..." Luna flies through a window towards Ponyville, with the knowledge to save Equestria...
The Doctor and his companions walk through Ponyville, still looking for the other Bearers. They had stopped to get some food, but other than that, they kept moving. The Angels must be in Ponyville, for ponies like Colgate and even DJ-Pon3 were missing. "A lot of ponies are gone..." The Doctor pulls out his Screwdriver and scans the area.
"Yup, that's a lot of Time Radiation, we have to find the Elements, GO!"
The Doctor grabs his companions and they hurry around Ponyville, careful not to look at any statues. They run to the center of town, where the Statue of the Mayor is waiting, though they don't look at it. "Okay, Mares, we need to find Older Derpy..." The Doctor scans Derpy, and gets another identical bio-signature across town.
".... Here we go... Allons-y... Geronimo...."
As the Doctor traces the signature, they slowly inch their way across the town, still not looking at any statues. "Okay, this is a sharp turn, close your eyes..." He tells the two Mares. They round the corner, passing a few statues. "Okay, it's getting closer..."
The Screwdriver suddenly starts beeping like crazy, indicating they they were here. "The old folks home. Well, that's pretty obvious." Twilight says, slightly annoyed. "Quite Ms. Sparkle, we've got to make sure that we see old Derpy die, to make sure it's a fixed point in time. Then, Derpy dies in the present...
"And then I'll have a reason to go home."
"You mean I'm the reason you haven't searched for a way home?"
"...Yes... Yes, you are! You're my best friend, Derpy Hooves! I couldn't go home with such a great friend that I would have left behind! You're... different from all of the other people that have traveled with me! I can't explain it, but you are different!"
"Well... I'm sorry, Doctor, but I have to do this..."
"I know... C'mon, Mares..." The three walk into the building, and the Doctor goes behind the front desk, and finds the list of ponies in the home. "Okay, Doo... Doo... Ah! Here it is! Ditzy Doo! Room 45 on the third floor! Let's go, mares! Allons-y!" The Doctor runs towards the stairs with his two friends following behind him.
They make it to the room, and on the bed, is an elderly grey pony, with a blonde mane. "There she is... Now, let me scan her bio-signature one more time... Yup... only a few more seconds..."
Derpy walks over to her older self, and sits next to her. And she wakes up.
The Doctor half smiles. "Hello, Derpy. Meet Derpy."
The Older Derpy looks to her left and sees her younger self. "Oh, my gosh... I... Was so young... Doctor..."
"Yes. Yes you were. And you were my best friend. I'm not gonna ever forget you." The Doctor leads Twilight to the Older Derpy.
"Twilight... Sparkle... I remember you.... One of my friends..."
"Yup... It's okay, Derpy. We'll get those Weeping Angels, you'll see."
Older Derpy smiles, and closes her eyes. "Doctor.... My Doctor... My best friend..."
"As you were mine, Derpy. Now, when you get up there and see the Big Guy, ask him if you'll be able to see dead people from my universe. Ask for Ace."
Derpy smiles again, and takes a final breath.
"Okay... Let's... do the Paradox..."
The Doctor leads his companions out the door, and scans the area where the most Angels are.
"Canterlot..."
Twilight snaps her head to the Doctor. "Canterlot?! That's where Celestia and Luna are! We've got to go!"
"Exactly!"
Then, just before they run off, all three of them shout into the air: "ALLONS-Y!!"
"ALLONS-Y!!" The three friends yell before rushing towards Twilight's Library to get inside the TARDIS. When they do, they head to present day Canterlot. RRRR! RRRR! RRRR! RRRR! The engines WHOOSH as the TARDIS materializes outside the castle.
"Ha ha! Come along, Mares!"
The three run into the castle, not knowing what lays ahead. As they come across locked doors, the Doctor would unlock them using his Sonic Screwdriver. Twilight would levitate them up to places Derpy wouldn't be able to reach, and Derpy would fly them up to ledges not so far away.
"Ha ha! Oh, the three of us make a good team!" The Doctor says as they rush down a long hallway. They turn a corner, and they immediately close their eyes. "Weeping Angels! Do NOT , I repeat, DO NOT open your eyes!" The Doctor says as they inch their way through the hallway.
"Twilight, can you cast a spell that would allow us to see, without us needing to see ?"
"What the hay does that mean?!"
"Never mind! I'll just use my Screwdriver!" The Doctor uses his Screwdriver to locate the door, and he leads his friends to the throne room.
"Doctor?!" Princess Celestia says as the three ponies burst into the room. "Hello, Princess!" The Doctor turns and locks the door. "Okay, that shouldn't help us, but it was nice to feel safe, I'm speaking everything that runs through my mind again, aren't I?"
Derpy and Twilight nod their heads. "Okay, I have to stop doing that. Anyway, Ms. Celestia! Moving Statues, they're called the Weeping Angels, don't blink or you're dead, I'm from another universe, and we have a plan to stop whatever the Weeping Angels have planned!"
"You don't know?"
"No. I don't know what they have planned, but, if we can cause a Paradox, then we could kill them all!" The Doctor merrily laughs his head off. "And you know what the best part is?! Oh, this is the best part... An Angel just heard everything I said!" The Doctor looks to his left, and looks directly at a Weeping Angel.
"Derpy, get to the roof, cause the Paradox!"
"Got it!"
Derpy starts to run off, but the Doctor stops her. "I'll miss you." Derpy nods. The Doctor lets go of Derpy, and she and Twilight run up the stairs leading to the roof. The Doctor never took his eyes off the Angel. "Don't look at it, Princess, or you're dead."
"Okay, Angel, because of you, I'm about to lose another friend to you. And do you know what? I'm not gonna show any more mercy towards you. I've kept this race alive long enough. You. Are. DEAD!!!! " The Doctor shouts the last part, and uses the Screwdriver to break a curtain, causing it to block his view of the Angel.
"I'm coming, Derpy! HOLD ON!!! Princess, look at that statue. Do NOT take your eyes off of it! I think it wants you, I don't know, but I think it does!" The Doctor rushes up the stairs to the roof, where Derpy and Twilight await.
"Okay.... Here I go... Thank You, Twilight... For everything." Derpy turns to the edge of the castle, and prepares to jump.
"Derpy!!! Hold on!!!!" The Doctor yells as he runs up.
"Goodbye, Doctor..." Derpy jumps off the edge.
"NO!!!!! DERPY!!!! NO!!!! NO!!! NO, PLEASE, NO!!!!!! "
"Derpy!!! NO!!!!" The Doctor yells with tears running down his cheeks. The Doctor looks over the ledge, and sees only rooftops. "Time should have reset by now... Why hasn't Time reset?! WHY?!?! " The Doctor sighs, and hops over the edge.
"Doctor!" Twilight yells after him.
The Doctor grabs a ledge and swings down to the next one, until he reaches the ground. "Derpy?! You down here?!" He pulls out his Sonic Screwdriver and scans for life, not finding any. "No, no, no, no! Derpy?!?! DERPY!!?!!?!" The Doctor frantically runs around the nearby area, but finds nopony.
"No! No! NO! DERPY!!!! DERPY!!!!!! "
Twilight suddenly appears next to him in a flash of purple light. "Doctor, where's Derpy?!"
"I don't know! She's nowhere to be found!"
"You don't think an Angel got her, do you?!"
"No, no, no, no! Derpy!!" The Doctor is obviously distraught, still looking around for his companion. "I've got to find her!" The Doctor runs off, with Twilight close behind him. The Doctor continues to shout for Derpy, with Twilight trying to pick up her life force with her magic. They run into an ally way, and the Doctor steps in front of Twilight.
"Go, Twilight! GO!" The Doctor yells.
Twilight runs off, leaving the Doctor with an Angel. "What have you done to her?!" The Doctor yells. "Tell me!!! What did you do to her!!!! I'm talking to a statue, I'm mad!" The Doctor trots over to the Angel, and stares it directly in the eyes. "What I'm doing now would kill me. If I didn't do this." The Doctor reaches the Sonic Screwdriver up, and uses it to slice a stone off one of the nearby buildings, causing it to damage the Angel, but saving the Doctor.
He runs off, trying to catch up to Twilight. "Twilight! Where are you?!"
"Twilight..." The Doctor suddenly feels woozy, and stumbles over, landing flat on his face.
Ugh... Where...
Where am I?!
Why can't I see?! Right, the Angel is killing me. Well... That was a stupid idea. I would be smacked silly by Amy if she was still here...
"Hello?!" The Doctor says through blindness. He doesn't get a response other than a hoof coming down hard on his skull. The Doctor screams in pain. "AHHH! Who are you?!" The Doctor asks again. His assailant laughs, and drives a hoof straight into his snout, breaking it.
"Oh, you'd like me to tell you... Doctor..."
"Who... Are.... You..?"
The Mystery Stallion does a quick 4-beat tap.
"M-Master... How?!"
"Ha! You expect me to tell you?! YOU?!"
"What do you want with Equestria?..."
"What I want? Hmm... How about, I dunno, it gone?!" The Master drives yet another hoof into the Doctor's skull.
"Master, stop this! What do you have against Equestria?!"
"Nothing. It's just... Boring. Now, I have some... business... to attend to." The Master releases the Doctor from the restraints holding him back, and falls to the ground.
"How... did you come back?! I saw you die... You stopped Rassilion... The Time Lords..."
"... I lost my body. Not my life. I took over to body of an old man, and forced the Time Lord genes in me to take over his Human ones, and trigger Regeneration into a new body. Then I crossed over the void by accident, and popped out here. Now, if you'll excuse me, Doctor..." The Master walks out.
The Doctor lays there for a few seconds with his eyes closed, not letting the Angel out of his mind.
"... I... Don't.... Want to.... Go..." His body starts glowing a great golden red, and as the Doctor takes a final breath, the Regeneration starts.
The Doctor was in extreme pain as the Regeneration started. He refuses to go, though can't fight anymore. Reluctantly, he opens his eyes, giving the Angel more power. "I.... Don't.... Wan't.... To.... Go...." The Doctor says. closing his eyes yet again.
"It feels different this time... What is that Angel... *Ack!!* Doing to me?!?" The Doctor strains on the words as the Regeneration Energy swirling from his body starts to dim. "No! I'm not Dying today! Regenerate! REGENERATE!!!!" The Doctor wills his Time Lord energy to regenerate, but the Energy dims completely, and the Doctor falls to the floor.
"Doctor?! Derpy?! Anypony?!" Twilight says as she runs through the city of Canterlot looking for her friends. That Stallion would be getting a good hoof to the face for abandoning her like this. The City is being overrun with statues, Derpy is gone, and he decides it's a good time to take a break?!
She looks around for a good three hours before giving up and heading back to the Library. There, she picks up the same book Fluttershy had found, describing the Doctor and the TARDIS. She looks at the cover, and notices the Author. Dr. John Smith . She had found nothing strange about the name, but flipped to the Afterword in the book.
The Doctor is not of this world. Through my vast studies of the stallion, I can tell you that he is from a different Universe, from a planet known as Gallifrey. Now, for at least one of you out there, you'll already know this.
"What? How does he..."
The Doctor is a Time Lord, they travel through Time and Space with machines called TARDISes. The Doctor's is faulty, as it always takes the form of a Police Box from his Universe. Time Lords also have the ability to 'Regenerate', as in, when a body becomes too old, too sick, or injured, the Time Lord's body will literally rewrite every cell in his body and come out with a new appearance, with no wounds.
Though, a Time Lord can be killed mid-regeneration.
The Time Lords eventually went to War with a race known as the Daleks, which exterminate everything different from them. They are ruthless. They show no mercy. This War with the Daleks caused the Doctor to loose one of his lives, his Eighth, and then, killed the Time Lords and nearly all of the Daleks.
Now, Twilight, go find me. I have no idea where I am, but I'm pretty sure you will. I'm somewhere Dark. And I'm about to Regenerate. Find me, Twilight. Find me. Find me.
Twilight had the chills from that. "That's... Creepy..." Twilight says. She then turns around to look for the Doctor.
The Golden-Red light bursts out of the Doctor's body, filling the room with light. It was even more painful than his previous regenerations, but he could make out changes in bone structure. He can barely see through the blinding light, that, and the fact that the pain was pretty much blinding him, but he pressed on through the regeneration.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
The Doctor's pony features morph into something more, something... familiar.
The light goes out, and the Doctor once again falls on the floor.
=====
"Ugh... Ow..." The Doctor opens his eyes with a jolt, and sits up. "Huh. It seems the Regeneration didn't do anything..... HOLD ON A MINUTE!!!!" The Doctor reaches a hand up to his face, and feels not a pony coat, but Time Lord skin. "Does this mean..."
The Doctor reaches to his collar, for it seems his clothes have come back too. "Bow ties. Are. Cool!" The Doctor stands, and looks around. "Look out, Master. The Doctor will be seeing you now..."

The Bow Tie Is The Star, Your Argument Is Invalid
"Look out, Master... The Doctor will be seeing you..." The Doctor stands up and straightens his bow tie. "Oh, it's good to be back! Now, let's find Twilight!" The Doctor turns and walks in the direction the Master had, and then realizes that the Angel inside his mind had gone.
"Huh. Convenient. Anyway, Twilight-" With a bright light, the lavender mare in question appears beside him. She looks around the dark area, and spots the Doctor. "Twilight, don't freak out. I've... Regenerated, in a sense. I didn't change, but I reverted back to my Time Lord form! I'm back!"
"And you have a bow tie?"
"Bow ties are cool. Anyway! Where are we?" The Doctor pulls on his tweed jacket and reaches inside a pocket. "Screwdriver... Screwdriver... Aha!" The Doctor pulls out a 16 inch LED light. "...Whoops... Not my Screwdriver. In you go!" The Doctor puts the light back, and then pulls out his Screwdriver. "Aha!"
"Twilight, can you light up the area? I can't really see in the dark, and it appears that my regeneration caused a little damage to the Screwdriver."
"Uh- sure!" Twilight lights the area up using her magic, and they see that they're in the Crystal Caverns.
"Well, that's anti-climatic. Where's the alien space-ship, person from the future, someone important to me almost dying until some unforeseen event comes and save them?" The Doctor scans for life, and finds none other than their own. "Okay, we're alone. Twilight, how did you know where I was?"
"I... Read a book.... By somepony named "Dr. John Smith", but... He SOMEHOW knew my name, that I owned the book, and that I would read it! But... He said 'Come find me, Twilight'. How did he-"
"OH! That's clever, future me! Anyway, we've got to stop the Master!"
"Who's-"
"Rival Time Lord, I thought he was dead, but he's not, we've got to reason with him!" The Doctor pats Twilight on the head, and they run off through the caverns. Going up a slope, the two then see more Weeping Angels. "Don't look into their eyes, Twilight, or you die."
"When I say now, run for that corner over there." The Doctor nods his head towards a small tunnel to his left. "Okay... now!" The Doctor activates his Sonic Screwdriver, and causes a loose Crystal to fall, weakening the area around where it used to be, causing the entire ceiling to cave in.
"Run, Twilight! RUN!"
The two run off towards the tunnel, leaving the Angels to be crushed.
"Luna, have you delivered the message?"
"I'm sorry, sister. I could not find the Bearers."
"Then we are all doomed. The Doctor surely cannot defeat these monsters alone..."
"That's where you're wrong, Princess!" The Doctor's voice rings throughout the room, and then, Twilight and the Time Lord in question emerge from the ground in a spectacular show of purple and white light. "And yes, before you say anything, I look different. I normally look like this in my own Universe. So, anyway! Weeping Angels right outside the door... that's a problem, and we have no way out, except for a... thirty-nine-and-a-half mile drop. Nine and a half more than I can survive. Has anyone... Anypony, seen Ditzy Doo?"
No answer.
"Well, that's disappointing. She jumped off the castle and for some reason Time didn't reset. Unless we find her, we're stuck with the Angels."
"Doctor." Celestia says.
"Yes, Princess?"
"Shut up. You're starting to annoy me."
"Yeah, I have that affect on people. Okay, I need guards, preferably Pegasi, to guard the roof. Foot soldiers guard the door, and... I'll need a fez."
"Why is that, Doctor?"
"Because, Princess. Fezzes are cool. Anyway, what are you all standing around for? Go!" The soldiers move out, some flying out the window and others moving towards the door. The Doctor grins. "Ha ha! Geronimo!" The Doctor says, and jumps out the window.
"Doctor!" The Royal Sisters and Twilight say at the same time.
The Doctor grabs a ledge at nine and a half miles down, so now he can survive the fall. "Twilight! I need a protection spell!" The Doctor yells, and a purple glow surrounds him.
He smiles.
"Geronimo!!!!"
Meanwhile...
"Ow... I'm... I'm alive?!" Derpy says, not knowing where she was. "Doctor?! Doctor?! Twilight?!" Derpy slowly gets up, and looks around. "Manehattan..." She mumbles. "Hello?" She shouts. No response. "Hello?!" Still nothing. Derpy walks around the abandoned city, looking for signs of life, but finds none. "Wait... I'm alive?!" Derpy questions for the first time.
"Of course you are." A raspy voice says. Derpy turns around to see a badly beat-up male Pegasus. Both of his eyes were blackened, his nose was smeared in dried blood, his body had bumps, and bruises and cuts all over. And his wings were nearly torn off his body. His coat was a shade of blue.
"Oh, my God! What happened to you?!" Derpy asks.
"I... took the fall for you... I... used a Vortex Manipulator... Got you here, while the trip through the Void... was a little rough..." The stallion coughs, and a little blood comes out. "I... My name is... Captain Jack Harkness... And... You must be... Derpy Hooves..." The Captain coughs once more, and stumbles over to Derpy.
"Do you... Know where... the Doctor... Is...? I need.... the Doctor..."
"The Doctor? He's in Ponyville!"
"Good... Good... Derpy.... You're beautiful... Has anyone ever told you that?"
"N-not really, no..."
"Well, ponies should. Anyway... We need to run.... Angels... Angels everywhere..."
"What?!" Derpy grabs Jack as carefully as she could, and flew him up into the air. "The Angels are taking over Manehattan?"
"Yeah..."
Derpy continues to fly over the city, when she is knocked out of the air.
"Wahh!!!!" She cries as she falls to the ground, but manages to stop before she impacts.
"Who-?!"
"Well, well, well! If it isn't Derpy Hooves!"
"Who are you?!"
"I'm an enemy of the Doctor's! But you won't live long enough to know who!" The mystery enemy says as he again flies at Derpy. But this time, however, Derpy saw him coming, and ran a hoof into his face, dazing him, sending him spiraling off course.
"Ah! You little Derp!!!" The Pegasus yells as he rams his left side into one of the nearby buildings.
Derpy stops in mid-air for a second, but then shakes her head. "Who are you?! Enemy of the Doctor's, what enemy?!"
Before the Stallion can answer, a noise rips through the city.
RRRR!!!!! RRRR!!!! RRRR!!!! RRRR!!!!
"Hang on, Twilight!!!"
"To what?!"
"The TARDIS, of course!!"
The Doctor's and Twilight's voices ring throughout the night, a song to Derpy's ears. The TARDIS materializes with an explosion, a great fiery ball of red orange and TARDIS blue. A Diamond Dog looking creature bursts out of the TARDIS with Twilight by his side, holding out the slightly damaged Sonic Screwdriver.
"Hello, Master! I'm the Doctor, as you know, and I'll be seeing you, now!"
"That was the lamest pun ever, Doctor."
"Yes, I know, Twilight. Now, Derpy Hooves! So glad to see you're alive!!!" The man says with glee. This couldn't possibly be the Doctor, could it? The man leaves Twilight covering the mysterious Stallion in Magic, and walks over to Derpy.
"...D-Doctor?"
The Man smiles. "Hello, Derpy..."
"You've-... You've Regenerated?"
"In a way. I've reverted back to my Time Lord form. From before I came here. The Void must be opening even more. Which must explain why you're holding a Pony-fied version of Jack Harkness here?" The Doctor looks to the badly injured Pegasus still being held by Derpy.
Jack smiles. "Hello, Doctor..." He says, barley out-of-pitch from his usual charming, handsome voice. The Doctor smiles too, and turns to the Master, and pulls out his Sonic Screwdriver and activates it, causing the tip to glow and a "Whir" sound to ring in the area.
"Yup. This is definitely the Master. How did you get over here, in this Universe? One thing's for sure though," The Doctor starts walking around, still talking. "We need to get back to our home Universes. If we don't... Boom. So, on we go, Mares! We've still got to cause a Paradox!" The Doctor points to Twilight, who uses her Magic to lift the Master into the TARDIS. "Let's go, Derpy!" The Doctor pushes the TARDIS doors inward, despite the sign that clearly says "Pull outward," And Derpy then follows, along with Twilight.
RRRR!!! RRRR!!!! RRRR!!!!!! RRRR!!!!!!!
The Doctor pushes the TARDIS doors open and walks out into the outskirts of Ponyville. "Coast is clear! Just leave the Master where he is!" The Doctor calls, and his friends walk out of the TARDIS. "Okay! Got the Master, now we need to cause a Paradox! Oh! Wait!" The Doctor runs back inside the TARDIS and comes out with an empty book and some pens. "I need to write that book, that way past Twilight will save past Me!" The Doctor quickly writes a 1000 page biography about himself.
"How- How did you-?!" Twilight stammers.
"Oh, really, Twilight? You question on how I can write a book so fast, but you don't question how I can survive a 30-mile drop?!" The Doctor says, and then runs towards the Library. "We're a few days in the past, probably when you and the other ponies started looking for me. So, what I need to do is..." The Doctor runs into the Library, and dodges a past Spike without getting noticed.
He puts the book on a shelf and runs out. "Ha ha! That was easy! Now then, Paradox!" The Doctor looks to Derpy, who smiles and picks up both the Doctor and Twilight, and she flies them over to the TARDIS, and the Doctor sets them for present day Canterlot, roof of the castle. RRRR!!! RRRR!!! RRRR!!! RRRR!!!!
"Here we are!" Derpy shouts.
"Ha ha! Here we go!" The Doctor shouts, and they land on the roof, and run out of the blue box. "Aha! We did it! We're surrounded by guards defending the Sisters from the Angels, and we're about to kill them all!" The Doctor says, and bit of glee, yet sadness, in his voice.
The sky was beautiful, a brilliant sunrise, orange clouds, and Pegasus ponies flying around, just woken up, setting up the clouds for the day's weather. "Ah... I love this sky. I'm gonna miss it. Anyway... We should get to it! Here we go!" The Doctor smiles, and looks to Derpy.
"You're not going alone, Derpy. I'll go with you. Twilight, you coming?" The Doctor looks to the lavender pony, who nods. "Fantastic!" The Doctor closes his eyes. "Allons-y!" He takes a breath, and places a hand on Derpy's back, who then takes a hold of Twilight's hoof. "Geronimo!" The three say, and tumble over the edge.
"Woooo!!!!!!" The Doctor yells.
"Waaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!" His friends scream at the top of their lungs.
"Here we go! Brace for impact-!"
It has been said, that when a Good Man Goes to War, Demons will run. The Sun will be shrouded in Darkness. The Child will be lost. It has been said, that the world would not end if The Doctor Dances. Eventually, The Parting of The Ways would tear two lovers apart, but bring forth another man, but yet, the same man.
It has been said, that certain items of clothing are cool. This must be true, as it was said by a historical figure. It has been said... that the question must not be asked...
"Ugh..." The Doctor groans. He opens his eyes to find that he, Derpy and Twilight were inside the Library, with the TARDIS dead in the center. "D... Derpy...? Twilight...? Are you alive?"
"I think so..." The two mares say at the same time.
"Good.... That means we did it..." The Doctor places a hoof to his face. "Hoof?! Right! Time Paradox! Never happened!"
"Doctor..." Twilight begins. "If it never happened, then why do I remember?"
"We caused the Paradox, we were at the center! It was implanted in our heads! We're back!"
"We're alive!" Derpy says, and jumps up to the Doctor and hugs him in a tight embrace, and plants a kiss on his lips. When they part, Derpy smiles. "Surprised, aren't you, alien boy?"
"What was- Derpy- What? What?! What?!?! "
Derpy walks over to Twilight. "So, how was it? You're first adventure with the TARDIS crew?"
Twilight smiles and looks to the Doctor, still baffled as to why Derpy did that. "Amazing. One of the best times o my life!"
"Then... Come with us."
"What?"
"I said, come with us. See the stars, visit planets... Come with us!"
"Well... is it always that dangerous?"
"Yes."
"Can I bring Spike?"
"... Sure!"
The two squee and hug each other, and the Doctor walks over. "So. I imagine she's coming with us? To my Universe?"
"What?"
"I can't stay. Reality. But, I've fixed the TARDIS so that we'll be able to go to my Universe, and visit here every so often. What do you mares think?"
"... You're a madman, you know that, right?"
"Same as I told Amy. Now, Twilight, go get Spike, if you're bringing him, try to pack light, be back in... ten minutes."
"O-Okay!"
That deadly question. The one that can cause entire armies to run at the mention. Cause wars to flip turn-outs, and people to change their fate.
"Ha ha! Already done?" The Doctor asks as Twilight walks into the TARDIS with Spike, who has a dazed look on his face. "Yes, yes, I know. Bigger on the inside. Spike, this is the TARDIS, it stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. It can travel to anywhere and any-when. Now, first off, let's tear down the walls between the Void!"
"Are we gonna make it?!" Derpy asks.
"Ha ha! I have no idea!!!!"
That one question.
The TARDIS starts to rattle and shake violently, ever so as Spike worries. "Who is this guy?!" he asks his purple friend.
"The Doctor!"
The first Question.
"Yes, but..." Spike begins, as the Doctor and Derpy laugh merrily at the controls.
"Doctor Who?!"
The Doctor smiles, and flips a switch. "Geronimo."
Mini-Chapter: "Meanwhile in The TARDIS"
"Okay, Mares! Lock up the Master in the little cells. Down the hall, take a right at the pool, and then head down the stairs." The Doctor says to Twilight, who picked up the Master yet again, and then walked him in the direction the Doctor had said. "Okay! Present day Ponyville!" The Doctor pulls a lever, and the TARDIS makes the RRRR sound.
"Doctor, there's something you're not telling me."
The Doctor tenses. "...."
"What is it, Doctor?"
"....."
"Doctor."
"I...."
"What?"
"... Remember when we celebrated your fiftieth travel in the TARDIS, and I said that I wouldn't stay for long?"
"Yeah... that was two years ago!"
The Doctor lays a hand on the glass tube going up to the ceiling of the TARDIS. "I'll have to go home, soon. I can't stay for long. The Void is closing, yet getting bigger at the same time. It could cause the implosion of the Multiverse. Every single Universe, up in flames, then gone, just like that." The Doctor snaps his fingers, accidentally causing the TARDIS doors to open. "Don't look out there!!" The Doctor rushes over to the doors and closes them before anyone would be able to look into the Time Vortex.
"You can't go home! All those aliens threatening to destroy worlds! What about them?!"
"... If I could stay, I would, Derpy. But I can't. The whole of reality would implode. As for the aliens... Hm... I have an Idea, but it'll have to wait. As for now, we need to cause that Paradox. Effectively erasing the Weeping Angels and this one particular adventure."
"So... what was the point of all of that freaking out over my 'death'?"
" You're my friend, Derpy. You're my best friend. Whenever someone travels with me, if they don't leave the TARDIS sooner or later, they die. And I end up standing over their graves while a war goes on in the Universe. People die for me almost every time, Derpy. I didn't want that to happen to you."
"This has happened before, hasn't it?"
The Doctor stops again, and presses a few buttons on the console, and a screen extends from the side of it, and shows video footage of a red-haired human, with a short-haired blonde man. "Meet Amy Pond and Rory Williams. My previous Companions before you.
"We faced a race called the Silence, the Daleks, the End of The World, and rebooted it! And then... The Weeping Angels... They had to be killed, so they caused a Paradox, and killed all but one. Rory was sent back in time by that one, so Amy followed suit. I lost them."
The Doctor goes silent. "Anyway... Equestria..." The Doctor says as Twilight walks in.
"Did I miss something?"
