Chapters Canterlot, Equestria 10XX New Celestial Calendar
The elder princess looked at her sister. “Yes, Luna?”
Luna stares at her. “It seems we’ve been getting quite a few calls and letters involving the same topic. This brings me to this. Celly, you still haven't told me, officially what Praytell we are going to do about that contraption….”
The Princess of the Night tilts her head towards a window….which has a clear view of a large battleship like machine, designed similar to a Aircraft Carrier, crashed into one of the mountains near Canterlot, still smoking.
The elder princess sighs. “We can’t exactly make Twilight and her friends deal with it. They already have their hands full with the one that landed in the Everfree Forest. Least with the Macross Quarter, as it’s apparently called; the two of us, Cadence and Shining Armor will be on site to deal with whatever happens. ”
Everfree Forest, outside Legged Ship’s crash site, 4 hours later
.The Mane Six are in the metallic hallways of the downed legged ship, the Albion as the name on the side suggests.
“Whoa Nelly. Where dah ya’ll think this thing came down from?” Applejack said
“I’m more worried about what made this thing in the first place, AJ” The purple unicorn, Twilight Sparkle said examining one of the rooms of the ship. “And the other ones that fell two days ago. According to the Princesses, at least four others besides this and the Macross Quarter in Canterlot crashed just before dawn two days ago.”
Rainbow Dash comes zipping towards them. “Guys! I think I found something you need to see”
The group ventures further, into a large room, apparently the hanger of the ship.
“Wh-what are those?” asks Fluttershy
There they see several machines. The nearest, on their right is a massive white and blue humanoid machine
To their left, is a similar one, though it is bulkier, darker, all the more…sinister looking
“Oh, dear. Please tell those aren’t the…owners” Fluttershy said in a nervous tone
Rarity shakes her head, her horn glowing. “It’s safe, darling. Looks like these things are just machines of some sort. Twilight, what do you make of these things?”
Before Twilight can even answer , Pinkie Shakes All Over.
“Uh-oh. I feel a doozy coming!”
Before anyone can ask, the ship begins shaking and explosion can be heard.
“W-what’s going on!?” Fluttershy cries
As the ship shakes Pinkie’s tail starts twitching
“Ah horseapples, what now Pinkie!” Applejack said trying to get back up
At this point, a large black box hits her head, on the top of it seems to be some sort of crest
“Applejack…are you ok?” Fluttershy asks
“A'm ok, Fluttershy. Now what in tar’nation hit me?”
“It’s a box, silly!” Pinkie said grinning
“No, really?” Rarity says in a deadpan tone
The box begins shaking on its own
“Something’s inside it!” Twilight’s horn glows, breaking the lock
Suddenly Six Streams of Light shoot out of the box, one red, one blue, one pink, one green, one yellow, and one gold. Before the six could move away, each ray strikes one of them. The red one descends on Twilight Sparkle, the blue on Rainbow Dash, the Pink on Rarity, the Green on Applejack, the Yellow on Fluttershy, and the Gold on Pinkie Pie. In a bright flash they find themselves outside…
Stage 1: The Gallant Appearance of the Six Samurai!
Just outside of Ponyville
Seven large insect like machines rise out of the craters that were just formed. Each begin advancing on Ponyville
The machines begin targeting the buildings and prepare to open fire when suddenly….A large red lion like machine slams into one of them, while completely on fire. The flames go out as one of the insects explodes.
Inside it Twilight Sparkle is sitting behind of a pedestal with a sword like device infront of her. “What…what’s going on here!?”
“Twilight! Where Are you!? I can hear you but I can’t see.” A large yellow monkey like machine is hoping in the distance. Inside Fluttershy is crying.
At this point one of the beetles rushes in front of the machine Fluttershy is in, almost reflexively, the monkey machine raises one of it’s arms and bats it away.
“D-did I do that?” Fluttershy looks very surprised
“Hey! You guys alright!?” Rainbow Dash screams
“Rainbow! Where are you?” Twilight asks
“Look up! I’m in this big blue thing.”
At this point a large blue dragon like machine flies towards one of the beetles
“Take this!” With that her machine fires out massive stream of blue fire at the beetle Fluttershy knocked down, melting it after a few moments, letting out a massive roar afterwards.
“Twilight, I don’t care what you say, I’m so keeping this”
A large whirlwind strikes one of the other beetles
Rarity puts her right forehoof to her head. “Ok, this can make tornados.”
The winds dissipate, revealing a large silver, black and pink turtle
“Twilight, what on Equestria is going on!?”
“Ah don’t know, sugah cube.” Suddenly a large green and silver bear like machine comes crashing down on one of the beetles and begins ripping it into pieces
“But these bugs are makin’ a mess outta town” Applejack said panting
“Did ya’ll see where’d Pinkie get to?”
“He-re I am!” Pinkie yells in a sing song kind of voice
At the point a large purple and white squid grabs ups on of the remaining beetles and smashes it up against the ground multiple times till it stops moving.
“Good girl, Ika-chan!”
Twilight raises a eyebrow “Ika-chan?”
“Yeah, that’s what this paper here says it’s called.”
“Paper? What paper?” Rarity asks
“This big foldy paper that has all these pictures of what we’re in. Apparently Twilight’s is called Shishi Origami, Rainbow’s is Ryu Origami, Rarity’s is Kame Origami, AJ’s is Kuma Origami, and Fluttershy’s is Saru Origami.”
“Yeah, yeah, the names are important. Get to the point Pinkie, how do these things work”
At that point several large red beams of light appear, warping out about a dozen more of the beetles.
“Oh dear Celestia….where are they coming from?” Twilight said watching as they emerge and begin their attack
Suddenly a voice is heard over the com.
“Twily? Get out of the way!”
“Huh? Shining Armor? What do you mean…”
“BLOODY RAY!”
A large red beam is shot through one of the bugs. And slices through it before cutting through two more in half
At this point a red, yellow and blue robo t falls down from the sky

“Cadence, how’s the TE Engine?”
“Doing Great, we’re still in the green. Got two boogies coming in at us, sweetie.”
She said targeting
“All yours, Shiny”
“FANG KNUCKLE!” The plating on both shoulders of the machines leap on to the hands of it making two jaw like devices that rocket off. Both of them latch on, biting the enemy machines and cutting them in apart before rocketing back onto the red machine's arms
Rainbow Dash looks mouth wide. “Whoa!”
“Shining Armor! What the hell is going on?”
“I’ll Explain later Twily, just pull back now!”
“Oh! Twilight! Draw this thingy here and Say Samurai Gattai!”
Pinkie shows up on a screen to Twilight a odd symbol in the scroll.
“Pinkie! We don’t have time for….”
“Come on Twilight just do it! And make sure to flip it over”
“Fine” She telekinetically makes the brush…phone…thing float and draws a symbol in the air before flipping the image over “Samurai Gattai. See? Nothing…”
Suddenly five of the Mane Six’s Origami fly into the air at full speed. Out of RD’s Ryu Origami flies out a giant samurai helmet. Twilight’s Shishi Origami transforms into a torso and head. Ryu Origami and AJ’s Kuma Origami shift and form the legs of the machine, while Fluttershy’s Saru Origami and Rarity’s Kame Origami transform into the arms and hands. The end result is a giant robotic samurai
“Shinken-Oh! United Under Providence!”
“What the fuck did we all just say? And how did all of you get in here!?” Twilight said looking seeing Rainbow Dash, AJ, Fluttershy and Rarity all are with her now.
Suddenly The paper vanishes from pinkie’s hooves and to Twilight
“Sorry Pinkie, but this really needs investigating.”
One of the bugs tries to jump onto the giant samurai robot
“Less talk Twi', more hittin’”
The robot punches it with it’s right hand
“Alright so what’s its weapons besides its fists……we’re missing all but two….And one of them Pinkie’s driving.”
The Red robot, the Garmraid stands back to back with Shinken-oh, slightly smaller than it.. Several dozen of the bugs surrounding the two machines and Pinkie’s Origami
“They’ve got us surrounded. Twilight. Me and Shining Armor will cut a path for you guys to escape.”
“What!? No! We’re not leaving you two.”
“We don’t have time…”
Suddenly there is a large screaming sound…..
“CUTIE MARK CRUSADER ROBOT PILOTS , YAY!”
“This situation got worse….”
Suddenly flash of blue, white and red cuts through the enemy, blowing them up with laser blasts before transforming into a robot .
“Scootaloo Rescue, at your Service! Sweetie Belle and Applebloom should be here in a second.”
Suddenly four shots are fired from a massive beam cannon
A large, hulking blue robot with massive guns on it's shoulders walks towards the rest of the group firing as it comes
” Sorry We’re late ya’ll! Sweetie Belle had ta figger out how ta move 'er darn thing.”
Behind it is a flying orange reddish mech with a few flight and weapon addons
“It’s weird. This thing almost acts as if it does what I think. Like this….”
Suddenly several missiles are fired off and shoot down half the remaining enemy mechs
“Sweetie Belle , get out of that giant robot this instant!”
“You mean out here. In the middle of a warzone….”
“On second thought Stay in there!”
While this is occurring Garmraid and Shinken-on punch and slash their way through the enemy towards the CMC’s Machines. Ika Origami blinding the enemy long enough for the other two to finish them off.
“Reinforcements are arriving!”
“What? The Royal Guard? The Wonderbolts?”
“Not Exactly” Cadence says smiling as a large shadow envelopes the area.
Above them is the giant form of the Macross Quarter. Shots are fired from it, and the remaining enemies are taken down.
“Seems Aunt Celestia and Luna managed to get it working”
“WHAT. Is that?”
“ Yup. This is a Crossover.”
“What are you talking about Pinkie?” Shining Armor said with a dumbstruck look
"It's best not to ask, Shining Armor."
“Know what what nevermind, let’s just board the ship.”
A few minutes later, the giant robots are in the Macross Quarter’s hanger. As Cadence and Shining Armor disembark from the Garmraid, Shinken-Oh and Ika Origami glow and shrink down, the Mane Six appearing next to them. From it 6 smaller versions of their Origami appear and fly around their respective owners.
“And they have a fun size? I repeat my previous statement, Twilight. I am so keeping this little guy!” Rainbow Dash said.
“Careful Rainbow Dash! We don’t know what they are or where they came from…”
“They came from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.” Pinkie Said Smiling
After a few minutes, the CMC are pulled from their respective cockpits by crews of technician ponies. Applejack and Rarity walk over to their respective sisters.
“What in tarnation were ya’ll thinking!”Applejack said looking angrily to her sister and her friends. “Ya’ll could have gotten yourselves killed!”
“It was Scootaloo’s idea!” Sweetie Belle said
“What!? Was not!”
“Oh! Let’s save Rainbow Dash and the others in the big robot thingys! That’s sure to get us our cutie marks!” Applebloom said mimicking Scootaloo’s voice as best she could
“It’s sad because it’s completely expected from you Scootaloo” Twilight said looking at her. “Where did you even find them!?”
“They were in that big metal ship you guys went into”
“Were you not paying attention when we told you not follow us!?”
*Flash back, several hours ago*
“…besides the monsters that include manitcores, hydras and Celestia knows what else, we have no idea what’s in that metal ship. And THAT is why you all are to stay put here in Ponyville and not follow us.”
“Alright, Twilight. We won’t go”
Soon...
“Okay! They’ve been gone long enough” Sweetie Belle said smiling. “Let’s Go!”
Cut back to the present.
“You all really waited ten minutes to do this?” Rarity said narrowing her eyes at her sister.
“Well it was more like three, but you get the idea.”
“Speaking of giant robots, what’s the deal with yours and Cadence’s, Shining Armor?” Twilight said looking at Garmraid
“Well it’s a long story, Twilight....”
Roughly 30 minutes before the fight began
Shining Armor and Cadence are being briefed inside the Macross Quarter.
So this….thing still is working?”
“Ya. This things’ still got power goin’ through it. Only a couple places were damaged. Other than that, the place is fine save noone was drivin’” A Red Earth Pony Mare with a black mane and three wrenches crossed together as her cutie mark said explaining. To Shining Armor
“Thanks Bolts. So what can you tell me about the machines here?”
There were several on the wall along with the Garmraid.
Besides several Jet like machines there several notable machines.
A black, white and red machine stands across from it
And three Jet-like machines, one red, one blue and the last yellow, each stacked on shelf like mechanisms on top of each other.
“Far as I can tell, these bad boys are some kind of metal war machines. Makes you wonder what kind of things their old owners were.”
“Or what they made them to fight. Since these things seem less like conventional weapons, and more like what they’d use as a military trump card.” Shining Armor said looking over at the Garmraid.
“So what do you think we should about them, honey?” Cadence said looking at her husband
“Well we should try to get them fixed up. Call it a hunch, but these things had to have fallen here for a reason. And I want them ready to go if that reason comes knocking on our door.”
Alarms begin blaring through the ship
“What the hell is going on here?” Shining Armor said entering the Bridge
“Sir, we’ve managed to get the ships sensors back on line. Several large energy sources are opening up near Ponyville.”
Images of large robotic insects are shown on screen
“We have to get this thing airborne, now! That's where my sister lives!”
“That’s going to take a bit, Cap’” Bolts said through the intercom. “We’re still trying to power up this thing’s er…power source. From the looks of it’s stable, but it’s gonna take some time to charge.”
“Damn it…..Bolts. Which of those machines in the hanger was in the best shape?”
“The red and yellow one, why…”
Before she can ask Shining Armor is already running down to the hanger.
“Shining Armor, what are you doing?”
“Cadence. I know this is dangerous, but Ponyville’s under attack and my sister’s investigating the other ship down in the Everfree Forest.”
“No, I mean why are you planning on going to help Twilight, without me.”
“Huh?”
“I’m coming with you. Besides this thing’s got two chairs anyways.”
Shining Armor smiles “Cadence, you’re the best, you know that?”
The two use their telekinesis to open the cockpit.
One of the other soldiers looks at this.
“Shouldn’t we stop them?”
“It’s the captain of the guard and a Princess. Pretty sure they can do what ever the hell they want with that thing”
After the cockpit closes the screens turn on. A name appears on the front. Garmraid.
“Garm-raid? Is that this things Name?” Cadence said reading it
Suddenly the Machine takes off and flies out of the hanger and towards ponyville
Present time
“For now we’re getting reports all over Equestria about the other ships. Appleloosa’s being taken care of as we speak.
“Wait, AJ’s cousin’s town?”
“Yeah, Rainbow Dash. Princess Celestia also mentioned their was one that crashed near Cloudsdale, another in Manehattan, The one we’re standing in, and the one back in the Everfree Forest. BB..I mean Shining Armor, mind telling me what you all have found out here”
“Well So far we’re getting some of the machines to work here. Some of them are easier, the ship has records for these Valkyrie machines as they are called.” He said pointing his horn towards several of the fighter jet like machines being repaired.
“The rest well…trial and error. And very little on the Great Mazinger here. Fortunately the Garmraid had a book inside of it. Anyway Twilight, we shouldn’t keep Princess Celestia and Princess Luna waiting any longer. The security teams can take these fillies to the Mess. This is between adults.”
A quick nod and a black, bat winged pegasi takes the CMC away as the Mane Six enter the bridge. They bow to the familiar forms of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
After a few minutes (sped up by Pinkie Providing Visual Aids)
“So Equestria is being invaded by giant mechanical Automatons?”
“Oh yes.”
“And you figured out how to work these things to fight them?”
“That’s about the size of it Princess.”
“Celestia. Are you sure Discord’s not free?”
“Not enough river dancing buffalo and cotton candy clouds”
“Sad thing is, it’s true, sister.”
“Okay. Twilight I have a new task for you and your friends”
“Yes, Princess Celestia”
“You, your friends, and Captain Shining Armor are to go track down the remaining fallen ships. If they attacked Ponyville to try to get the Albion, they may attack the cities and towns near the other ones as well. As for the machines we presently have, from what little we know of them, they were created by people with the intention of combating these things. My guess they were enemies and they must have decided to eliminate their weapons now that they have noone to control them. I’d also like you two find anyone you feel is capable of piloting them and recruit them. ”
“Princess Celestia? With all due respect…are you giving my sister and her friends their own army ?”
“Why yes. She is, Sir Shining Armor. It’s part of a old royal protocol that allows the Princesses, me or Celestia to establish private armies to protect Equestria. Of course this does require a High Ranking member of the Royal Guard to precede over their actions…..”
Everyone in the Room looks at Shining Armor
“I just got volunteered didn’t I?”
“In th' words of mah brother: Eeeeeyup.” Applejack with a smirk
“FEAR NOT, SIR SHINING ARMOR! I PRINCESS LUNA, PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT, SHALL ACOMPANY YOU TO ENSURE EVERYTHING RUNS SMOOTHLY!”
“Luna! No Royal Canterlot voice! We don’t do that anymore!”
“Sorry, Celestia. Point still stands”
“As for the Cutie Mark Crusaders as they are called, we’d like to run some tests. Seems that they are the only ones who can pilot the R-Machines as the records from the Albion have shown they are called. We need to figure out why or at least how to replicate the machines. That way they won’t have to pilot them again. We’ll ask their parents permission of course.”
“Well my Mother and Father are on vacation, so Sweetie Belle is my responsibility, Princess Celestia. You have my permission”
“Ma and Pa ain’t around all that often, but I think it’s safe tah say Granny Smith’ll say yes.”
Rainbow Dash Shrugs. “Don’t know about Scoots folks, you gotta ask her.”
“That settled, you all might as well make yourself home here. The Macross Quarter is assigned to you from this day forward. The nearest ship according to the reports landed outside Appleloosa. You might want to get your start there.”
“Yes Ma’am!”
“Okey dokey lokey.!”
Meanwhile
A blue unicorn with a red mane walks down a hallway and into the control room. There seems to be several large machines building more of the robot insects as well as several other machines. Before her is a masked unicorn in a black and gold suit.
“My lady, the reports shows that the Megillot squads we sent down to the planet have been destroyed.”
“It does not matter Fond Illusion. Even if those Equestrians have by some miracle discovered a way to make their machines function, they do not possess enough power to oppose the Empire. At least, not yet. We must ensure they do not activate the remaining machines and their ships.”
A screen lights up in front of the masked mare
“Interesting….it seems another ship is about to appear on the planet. Right over a populated area. Send some squads to acquire what’s useful in. Then sanitize the area. After which, I want you to go down there and infiltrate them.”
“Yes, my lady.” She said leaving the room. On her way to her post, she spots several tubes filled with liquid. Inside them are several unicorn ponies. Oddly enough, they all look very similar to her. She looks at one of the ponies, a younger mare with a similar hair color to her. “I’m going to need to wake you soon…..”

Interlude: (Two days Later, Outside Appleloosa, in the Macross Quarter)
Princess Luna is in her quarters on the Macross Quarter, sitting in front of a mirror like device talking to Princess Celestia.
“And that’s what the researchers found out, Celly. Are you sure it’s not Discord?”
Celestia shakes her head, “I asked him. He spit out the....glass he was drinking and wondered out loud why didn’t he think of this before.”
A worried expression appears on Luna’s face.
“You don’t think it’s...them do you?
The Image of Celestia shakes her head.
“Based on what He always taught us, it doesn’t look like it has their marks, Lu. Still It might be better to be on the safe side to let Hawk...”
“No! I mean, I don’t want him or Diver to get involved.”
“Luna, it’s been a thousand years. I’m sure he’s forgiven you for what happened. Besides, It wasn’t you.”
“I...I almost killed him Celly! You don’t just Forgive somepony for that!"
“I said. It wasn’t you Luna. But fine. I’ll keep this quiet until we’re certain They haven’t awakened.”
In the Hanger of the Macross Quarter
Big Macintosh looks at the Great Mazinger and whistles.
“Those five doctorates finally payin’ off, ain’t they big brother?”
“Eyup.“
“I sure hope Fritter, Red Gala and Red Delicious are gonna be able to hold down the farm while we’re gone. Feel pretty bad ‘bout leavin’ Granny Smith behind.”
Bolts trots in and moves towards Big Macintosh. “Finished analyzing those three plane-like machines you pointed out to me, Big Macintosh.”
Before Big Mac can talk Applejack interrupts
“So what ya’ll find out about em’?”
“Well its weird…they run off something…there’s no Equine word for it. The closest thing is….Getter Rays.”
“Getter Rays?” Applejack said interrupting Big Macintosh again.
“Yeah…I’ve read what little notes the ship has on it. I don’t think we should try to activate them till we’re 110% sure they won’t explode or something”
Applejack nods and a announcement is made over the speakers
“Will Applejack please report to the ship’s war room?”
“Well A’m needed. I’ll talk to ya’ later, big brother”
“Eyup.” Big Macintosh said nodding.
A few minutes later AJ meets the rest of the Fellowship of Harmony, plus Princess Luna, Shining Armor and Princess Cadence in the war room.
“Alright now that everyone’s here.” Twilight Sparkle said making the scroll they found levitate out of her bag on unfold on to the table, “I’ve finished translating the scroll and figured out what these things that were in the box we found our little friends here….” Shishi origami rests on top of Twilight’s head for a moment, makes a roaring sound then flies off “ Are.”
“And?” Rarity said looking at them.
“It’s like Pinkie said. They are called Origami. They apparently are tools for fighting these things called ’Geddoushu’ or something like that. These things.” She levitates five red and black devices and a white and gold device and passes them among her friends, the white one going to Pinkie “Are called Shodouphones, while Pinkie’s called a Sushi Changer. They are also tools for using them.”
“Well what the hay supposed to do?” Rainbow Dash asks
“It mentions something called Mojikara. Closest thing we’ve got as a translation is Power of Words. From what I’ve Gathered they are supposed to work something like draw some symbol….I’m guessing it’s their language and what it means happens…”
“Ah come on!” Applejack said shaking her head. “That’s a load of bull. It ain’t like drawing what’s on my Origami thing’s gonna actually happen….”
“AJ Wait..”
She starts drawing on the table….And Suddenly a tree grows out of it and hits AJ in the head as it grows. “…..Little help ya’ll.”
“As I was saying….that light must have done something to the six of us. It gave us all that same power, Mojikara. Fortunately, it only works with their language, so writing in Equine is still safe. That brings me to this next issue…”
“What is it Twily?” Shining Armor said looking at his sister.
“Our Origami…aren’t the only ones. “
“Please tell me they all are in that box.”
“No. Just this one.” Twilight levitates an orange disk with images of a Hercules beetle on it onto the table. “And that’s not the worst part…some of them have to been made with Mojikara directly. And at least two can wander around on their own…in their giant size.”
“Yikes.”
“Yeah I know, Cadance. While we’re here getting the ship here in Appleloosa up in running I’ll see about what we can do to get this one to wake up. Then start tracking the others before they start rampaging….”
A loud snore is heard and everyone turns to face a sleeping Princess Luna
“Um, Princess Luna”
Cadence gently nudges her aunt
“Huh! What? Oh sorry everypony. I guess I’m a little tired from not having any sleep the past four days”
“Understandable. Fluttershy, take the Princess back to her quarters so she can rest up.”
Fluttershy nods, leaving the room with Princess Luna. Twilight gives Shining Armor the floor.
“The next order of business, the CMC. As you all know the tests run on them before we left Ponyville showed that there is some kind of abnormal brainwave that the R-machines have locked on to in them.”
He looks at Rarity and AJ
“We’ve gotten permission from you and AJ’s grandmother to allow us to keep them on as test pilots, till we figure out how these things work. They’ll be paid of course. Same with Scootaloo, though she seemed to be rather quick with her answer. Do any of you know her family situation?”
Everypony but AJ shakes their heads
“Ah met her Pa once or twice. Poor guy looks like he barely gits any sleep. Never met her Ma though.”
“Hmm.” Cadence thinks for a moment. “Shiny? Mind if I go talk to her for a bit?”
“Sure thing, sweetie. After we’re done here. “
“That being said we’re probably going to need a little more help aboard the ship. I mean Big Mac, Bolts, and the rest have been a lot of help BBBFF, but it still doesn’t hurt to have an extra set of hooves around the ship.”
“I’ll take that into a account Twily. Most the crew is busy helping get the ship that fell here the Argama, up and running. The royal guard is trying to get the Albion up in the Everfree along with it’s machines. With that said I think we can call this meeting adjourned. After all, the Lights Foundation and Orange Industries are taking care of the ship that fell near Manehattan.”
AJ doesn’t say anything, but it’s clear she’s a bit worried about her Aunt and Uncle in Manehattan.
“Alright girls, follow me to my quarters. We’ve got some practice to do with these things.” Twilight leads the rest of the fellowship of harmony out.
*meanwhile on the Argama*
Braeburn is hard at work fixing up one of the machines. Helping him is Gizmo, a nerdy earth pony stallion with a robot cutie mark. “Boy Howdy, this big ol’ thing’s almost untouched from when it fell here. “
“Yeah, it’s weird. This thing looks similar to the one in the Macross.” Gizmo said looking over at a large black, red and white machine.

“I reckon’ this thing was its prototype.”
“How do you figure that, Braeburn?”
“Take a look at th’ pictures ya’ll showed me of th’ Great Mazinger an’ compare it th’ Mazinger Z here. Th’ Great’s more streamlined an’ seems to have higher output than good ol’ Z here. This thing was made first an’ th’ Great was made afer the fact.”
“What do you think about the others here though?”
“Well, Gizmo. I think we’ve got our work cut out fo’ us. Those Gun-dams or whatcha call um are hard to figure out.”
“I think I’ve got this one, the Zeta Gundam .”
“ Most of the other researchers are concerned with is this..thing.”
Gizmo points a hoof at a gundam that’s ….in pieces. More accurately, it’s one that seems to be able to separate into different parts.
“According to the info in the cockpit it’s called the Victory Gundam….”
Alarms start Blaring.
“What in Equestria?”
“Attention: Multiple large energy sources detected appearing above Dodge Junction. All hands on Deck, we’re on standby for battle.”
“Well looks like this is going to get a field test today, Braeburn.”
“Alrighty! Let’s kick some flank!”
Stage 2: Cockpit of Steel!
Dodge Junction, About twenty minutes later.
A familiar blue unicorn yawns as she wakes and gets ready for breakfast and work. It’s been Three months since she’s ended up in Dodge Junction, working at Cherry Hill Ranch. As she walks out of her room one of the other workers joins her on her walk.
“Mornin’ Trixie!” A Tan Earth pony Mare with a blonde mane and hammer with lightning around as her cutie mark said with a smile.
“Good Morning Mjolna” She said glaring at her. As much as she hates to admit it, Mjolna’s the only pony here besides the Boss she actually likes, well tolerates.
“Ya up for another day of work? We’re on Cherry Buckin’ duty today.”
“Uh huh. The Great and Powerful Trixie accepts and will help you with…Cherry Bucking.” Trixie said rolling her eyes.
“Trixie, ya really gotta stop with the third person stuff”
“Bah! Once The Great and Powerful Trixie gets enough money to get her act up and running again….”
“That’s the 50th time I’ve heard ya’ll say that since I got here.”
“I …I mean The Great and Powerful Trixie could have sworn it was only 45 times.”
After a hearty breakfast and some jokes, the two set out into the orchard and start bucking. Or more accurately, Mjolna bucking, Trixie levitating the baskets to the drop off points.
Mjolna’s stomach grows. “Reckon it’s time we stop for lunch. How’s about it Trixie.”
“Of course. The Great and Powerful Trixie desires food as well.”
As they turn around a large crash sound is heard behind them.
“What…the hell….”
It looks like….a giant hole was punched in the sky as large red and black ship falls out of the hole, along with several metal contraptions.
“Oh FUCK! Get out the way, Trixie!”
Trixie didn’t notice as one of the machines seems falling right towards them, but Mjolna manages to push her out of the way in time.
Trixie stands in awe at the machine, a bulky machine with a red, blue, and yellow tri-color paintjob and large turbines on its shoulders.
"What the hell is this thing? Toffee..."
Trixie looks around but cannot find the tan earth pony she actually looks for a few minutes.
"Okay, a giant boat thing fell out of the sky, and some big metal thing is in front of me and Toffee's missing....things can't possibly get any..."
Suddenly Megailots.
"OH CELESTIA DAMN IT!"
Suddenly the machine's eyes light up, Trixie suddenly hears a voice her head.
"T-Link System Initialized."
It's hand grabs the blue unicorn and pulls her to the cockpit.
"Put me down ! The Great and Powerful Trixie Demands you Put her Down!"
The machine drops her in and seals shut, screens turning, the front screen showing the words Grungust Type-2.
“Grungust? What in Celestia’s hooves does that mean…”
Trixie hears something.
“Get. Out of Trixie’s Head!”
She said before moving a hoof to make the machine get up, only for a Megaillot to pounce on it slashing at it to try to rip it open.
“No…no…no…I can’t die here! Trixie will not allow it.”
A voice rings her head.
“Stop talking…..what do you mean this how it works?”
She telekinetically moves one of the controls. “Alright! Trixie will do as you say. Be grateful! EYE SOLID LASER!” A beam is fired from the machine’s forehead and slices the Megaillot in half.
“Alright. Looks like Trixie’s got the hang of this. Time to put on a show!” The Grungust boosts itself out of the ground and runs towards the foes, shoving them away from the Ranch. “Foals! None can stop the Great and Powerful Trixie! “ She said commanding the Grungust to punch and kick several of them.
“What other weapons do these this have? It’s fists? Hmmm Trixie finds this acceptable….”
“What a Rush! The Great and Powerful Trixie deems this thing worthy of her presence!”
“Hey!”
“What was that?”
“This is the Macross Quarter, we’re in position and sending reinforcements!”
“Howdy ya’ll! The Argama is up an’ runnin’ too! We’re sending ya’ll sum’ backup!”
“The Great and Powerful Trixie Demands to know what in Tartarus is going on here.”
Cut to the Macross Quarter
“Alright Girls. Ready?”
The group nods.
“Alright! Shishi Origami!”
“Ryu Origami!”
“Kame Origami!”
“Kuma Origami!”
“Saru Origami.”
“ORIGAMI DAI HENGE!”
Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy write (Twilight and Rarity using Telekinesis, the others using their mouths) the character needed to make the Origami grow on top of their respective origami using their Shodouphones.
Each of them returns to giant size and their owners phase into them.
Pinkie opens up the Sushi Changer and texts Squid in.
THANKS FOR WAITING! IKA ORIGAMI!
“Thank you Disembodied Voice!” Ika Origami shifts to being giant sized and Pinkie Hops in.
“Pinkie How did you Hold the…you know what never mind…I don’t want know.” Shining Armor said shaking his head.
Shining Armor and Cadance board the Garmraid.
“You sure you want to do this honey?”
“Shiny. We’ve been over this before. There’s no way I’m letting you pilot this thing by yourself. Don’t worry. We’ll be fine.”
“How many units do we have on stand by Bolts?”
“Not many, Cap. We’re still trying to figure out the Valkyries, the machines with Getter Rays and that black machine.”
“Alright” He said controlling his machine and moving it to launch.
“Shining Armor and Princess Cadance in Garmraid, LAUNCH!”
It’s launched out and flies above the Origami as the combine to form Shinken-Oh.
“….United Under Providence! Consarnit! Are we gonna hafta say that every time we make this thing?”
Meanwhile the CMC look out the window from their room.
“Aw! Rainbow Dash and them are gonna have all the fun!”
“Ya! Whats th’ point of havin’ giant robots if they don’t let us use ’em?”
“Well they said they just want to figure out how we can make them move. They don’t actually need or want us to fight.”
Applebloom is busy looking around the room.
“What are you doing Applebloom?” Sweetie Belle said looking confused.
“Tryin’ ta git somethin’ to pry this here vent open so we can crawl on outta here”
“Good idea! Then we can get out there and help Rainbow Dash!”
Meanwhile on the Argama.
“You sure you got everything up and Running?”
“Ready as I’ll be. Let’s git this big ol’ thing ready.” Braeburn said getting into a red hovercraft esk machine and flies it towards the head of the Mazinger Z.
“Pilder! On!”
It docks in and the eyes of the Mazinger light up.
“Let’s git this show on th’ road!” Braeburn said moving the controls “Gotta Hand it to ya, Gizmo, when it comes ta modifiying thishere things controls, ya sure know your stuff!” Braeburn said walking the Mazinger out to the Argama’s catapult deck.
“Wait…We didn’t put the….”
It launches…..and promptly falls out of the sky. Fortunately not damaging itself or Braeburn too badly.
“Put on the jet wing things….”
“Ima okay….”
He said making the Mazinger get up and Run towards the fight swinging one of it’s arms before rocket punching it at one of the Megillots.
“Howdy Miss! Name’s Braeburn! I’ll be pullin’ yer flank outta the fire!”
“The great and powerful Trixie can handle herself fine!” She said getting knocked over and having to wrestle down one of the Megillots. “But She shall accept your unneeded assistance!”
Braeburn grins. “I’ll be happy to oblige, miss. We should be getting’ more back up ina minute.”
Shinken-oh starts slashing through waves of Megillots as it approaches while the Garmraid flies in the air firing the Bloody Ray through two of them.
“Braeburn!? What in tarnation are ya doin’ in that thing?” AJ said speaking into her com.
“Kickin’ some flank?” He launching a rocket punch through the Bug.
“You managed to get that thing working in two days? Impressive!” Shining Armor said.
“Eyes on the fight, sweetie.” Cadance said moving the controls to make Garmraid avoid enemy fire before drop kicking several megillots.
“Trixie Agrees, whoever’s in that thing...”
“Trixie! What are you doing here!?” Twilight gasps.
“Trixie will explain when we aren’t up to our necks in robot bugs...”
Suddenly a red beam hits the ground and a new type of robot appears. Several large green and yellow humanoid units with red visors stand up .
“Well...those are new....” Twilight said looking at the machines.
“Twi! Why don’t we try that new trick ya’ll learned with these things?”
“Alright! Pinkie you ready?”
“Yup! Samurai Busou!”
Ika Origami splits into three parts. One attaching to the back of Shinken-oh, another becoming a spear like device on it’s right arm and the other becoming a device that seems to be the cross between a shield and a gun like device.
“Ika Shinken-oh! Armed Under Providence! Wow! That is fun to say!”
Pinkie said smiling as she appears inside the newly formed Ika Shinken-oh with the others.
“Alright, girls. You ready?” Twilight asks.
“Yes!”
“Um...no...if that’s okay with you...” Said Fluttershy.
“Alrighty! Ika Spear-Line! Bye bye!” Pinkie Said pushing her sword forward. Ika Shinken Oh’s arm and spear move rapidly making short work of one of the new enemies.
“Ika Freezing!” Twilight said moving her sword forward. Ika Shinken Oh points it’s shield-gun at one of the enemies and a massive of icy mist shoots out, Freezing it solid and in place.
“Cadance! Shining! All yours!”
“Let me handle this Shiny! Thunder Spin Edge!” Cadance said while making the Garmraid dive towards an enemy. The Blades in front of Garmraid’s left leg pop out and spin at rapid speed, electricity crackling all over it. “CRUSHER!” Cadance said as the blades cuts through the Soldier and slices it in half before it explodes behind Garmraid.
“Whoa. Remind Trixie to never anger you.”
“I second that one Miss.” Braeburn said before being shot by one of the enemy units.
“We’re getting pummeled! Got any bright ideas, miss?”
“Just one....got any long range weapons other than your punch?”
“Got a couple but one of them’s not ready to use yet.”
“Alright, on three.”
“One.”
“Two”
“THREE! MAXI BLASTER!” Trixie makes the Grungust’s arms arch back, exposing it’s now glowing chest as it fires a massive beam of energy at the remaining units. “Now!”
“RUST HURRICANE!” What looks gas vents out of Mazinger Z’s mouth. The Gas, quickly causes the units, as their are firing back, to rust over and corrode with in moments.
“Whoa.”
“Anything left?”
“Trixie’s ..machine is not detecting the enemy anymore. I think we’re golden.”
The R-1 flies towards the field.
“RAINBOW DASH! DON’T WORRY I’ll Save...”
“Fight’s over Scootaloo.”
“What? WHAT? Aw! I wanted to bust some skulls!”
Bolts’ voice comes on the coms “Sorry Twilight! She slipped away while the other two distracted the guards!”
After a few minutes the group disembarks from their respective units.
“Trixie thanks you all for your, unneeded assistance. Trixie had it well in hoof. But Trixie helped me get it do ...marginally sooner.”
“What are you doing here in Dodge anyways, Trixie?”
“Ah can answer that. I got ‘er a job here”
“Yeah...it’s like Applejack said. I kind of spent all my money on the Alicorn amulet so I needed a job. AJ suggested I head over here for work, and well, here Trixie is. Oh no...”
Trixie looked around the area of the orchard where the Grungust landed. There’s too much debris everywhere.
“Mjolna! Dear Celestia, No!”
Twilight’s horn glows. “I’m...I’m not picking up any life signs Trixie” She said hesitating “I’m sorry Trixie.”
“I’m not blaming you Twilight. You’re fighting those...monsters aren’t you? Trixie wants in.”
After a few minutes and Exposition to bring Trixie up to speed, the group trots down the Hallways of the new ship.
“So that’s what this was all about. Trixie heard rumors about things occurring further up north.”
“Well they are true for the most part. Twily, what have you found out about this one?”
“Well, for one, the ship’s called the Hagane. It seems for the most part intact.”
She said using her telekinesis to open the hangar doors.
In it are several machines.
Shining Armor whistles. “Who’s ever gonna be put in charge is gonna be happy”
They look at a white robot with blue trim . It seems very lightly armored, but built for speed and long range. One it’s left arm is a gun like device with three barrels. It’s right hand is empty, but next to it is a large rifle like weapon.
To it’s right is large red machine with white and orange trim and a large claw in place of a right arm. Across from it is similar designed machine that is a blue robot with white wings, and a large rifle.
“Wait look at this....”
There seems to be parts. they see two sets identical to the two machines, plus two more that are purple.
“What do you think, Twilight?”
“Maybe they are interchangeable. We’ll have to give them a look over. Later.”
A sleek looking dark blue mech with white and yellow trim stands to right of the red machine. Behind it is a gun and what looks like a flight attachment to it.
There also seems to several attachments to it. Such as a bulk frame it can dock with. A support craft is docked across from it and is the same basic colors as the machine
Another machine that is similar to the blue mech stands to the right of it’s support craft. It however sports a crimson cape and seems to be a patched together unit. Granted, a well built unit patched together, but patched together all the same.
“What do you make of this one, Shiny?”
“Well Cadance, this one clearly has seen battle and frequently. Guess they needed to keep slapping on parts from other units to keep it running. I think it would be a disservice to just trash it.” Shining Armor said nodding, as if looking at an old soldier.
Besides several other machines the most notable is a white machine with light blue and dark blue trim . It seems to be a jet like machine, but certain parts indicate it is most likely transformable like Scootaloo’s R-1.
“We’ll get some guards on these in the meantime...wait where’s Pinkie?”
There’s a large banging sound coming from a capsule like chamber.
“Pinkie! What are you doing!?”
“Sorry Twilight! Found the training simulators”
“Wait....training simulators? They have these?”
“Yup!”
“.....” Twilight facehoofs
“Trixie thinks it will be wise to remove a couple of them and put it on the other ships.”
“Thanks, Trixie.” Twilight said sighing.
A few minutes later, the crews are moving what they can to the Macross Frontier
“So what do we now?” Rainbow Dash said looking bored.
“CREW OF THE MACROSS FRONTIER! YOUR PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT HAS GOOD NEWS!” The ship shakes as Luna speaks in the Royal Canterlot Voice.
“Princess....c-can you please quiet down a bit...”
“Oh sorry about that Dear Fluttershy! Anyways, I have sent word to My Night Guard. Silver Nox and his Squadron will be taking control of the new Hagane. Their train just left Canterlot.”
“Silver Nox? Heh. Boy, Hagane’s in good hooves then.”
“You know him?” Twilight said looking at her brother.
“A bit. He’s a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his squad, but he’s still a fun guy to hang with off duty.”
Meanwhile at the train station in canterlot
“Achoo!” a dark blue pegasus stallion sneezed. He was wearing full Night Guard armor, with a powder grey mane and tail sticking out from between the plates, and a silvery, full moon cutie mark just below the metal.
“Pollen count is high today, Sir.”
“Thanks for that obvious statement, Star Hunter. Now. Does everypony have their equipment packed?”
“Yes Sir!”
“Personal Items?”
“Yes Sir!”
“Good because if you forgot something, so help me Celestia, you are Walking between here a Dodge if you need it. That includes my fellow pegasi.”
There’s some mumbling, followed by Silver Nox laughing.
“I’m messing with you all. Besides I’m certain we’ll be stopping back here once the new ship is up and flying. Now, let’s get there and show the Day Guard how we do things Night Guard style.”
The assembled group grab their gear and load up on the train
Back on the Macross
The CMC are locked back into their quarters and looking for something to do.
“Hey what’s this box thingy do?” Scootaloo said pressing a button.
And suddenly a video starts playing on the screen they see...something standing on two legs . Whatever it is, it’s singing in some language they’ve never heard. A battle rages as she’s singing. Yet her song inspires her people to victory, and even causes much of the enemy to defect to their side
“...Call Twilight, Applebloom...I think Scootaloo figured out who made all of this.”
Meanwhile....
Suddenly a new screen and a green haired pegasus mare with a red coat smiles looking at her
“Damn it, What do you want Felicity?”
“Oh Don’t be like that Antiquity! I just need a teeny weeny favor from you....”
“No. I am not helping you.”
“But it’s super important! See, one of my unit’s projects escaped.”
“How does a giant robot escape?” Antiquity said with her voice seething in rage.
“See. The three Meat we had taken as test animals managed to break out and escape in it.”
“And?”
“They just happen to be heading to that planet you’re trying to take.”
“Okay. Give me one good reason why I should assist in it’s capture?”
“Well besides the fact the Superiors will be super pissed at me if it falls into enemy hooves? It just so happens I’m in a position to move up your request to have the Judecca and it’s Meat sent to you.”
“......Okay. Fair enough. So how would you like the Meat who stole it? Dead or Alive?”
“Either or.”
“Dead it is.”
“Super.” The screen turns off.
“Now let’s see about the Meat we captured today.”
A screen appears and reveals a tan earth pony mare with a blonde mane and familiar hammer as her cutie mark.
“I think I can find some use out of you....”

A yellow earth pony mare with three orange slices as her cutie mark in her early to mid thirties steps out of a limo just outside the crash site for Manehattan. Next to her is a young brownish orange filly with red hair.
“Clementine, thank you for meeting us on short notice.” A younger unicorn stallion with a greenish grey coat and three white stars as his cutie mark and a rather messy black mane and sunglasses says with a smile. “How are you doing today Babs? Here to take a look at this with your, aunt?”
Babs nods. “Ya Neon. School was cancelled ‘cause this. Plus I figger this would be a great opportunity to earn my cutie mark.”
Clementine Orange smirks. Her niece seems to have gotten a lot less depressed now that she’s been in contact with her cousins and their friends in her old hometown.
“Glad to be here, Neon. So what can you tell me about the ship here?”
“Well the translators are busy at work. We’ve discovered the ship’s name is the Division IX: Ultra-Brilliant Twin-Hulled Recharge Warship Hirume.
“Ultra..wha?” Babs said looking confused.
“.....That’s a little long. Let’s just call it Hirume for short.” Clementine said with a smile.
“We’ve also managed to salvage several machines as instructed by the Royal Guard and the Princesses. My Lights Foundation is assisting in this. I think you’ll be impressed.”
They trot inside the ship and see several giant robots. Most of them are in bad shape but it looks like they will pull through.
“We’ve divided up responsibilities, as per the agreement. You and your husband’s company will be getting ahold of these.”
He raises his right fore hoof and points to several machines. The first two are a pair of red and blue machines, both of whom share fire truck motifs.
A purple machine with a police car motif stands to the right of them.
Next to it is a red and blue robot that seems to look closer to a giant foal’s toy than a robot.
A six machines stand across from them. Two are a pair of large black and red stealth bomber machines. The next are two black and red drill tanks. The next is a bullet train like device And the last is a blue and red [url= http://images.wikia.com/gaogaigar/images/0/0d/Vlcsnap-2013-02-25-14h00m24s194.png]rocket/train machine.
The crews are pulling up a large badly damaged grey and teal humanoid machine that seems to be able to turn into a jet.
“I believe that’s the central component to these four of the machines. But the other four’s main part is missing.”
“It looks pretty badly banged up. Hopefully we can get it repaired before something happens” Clementine looks at the machine.
“There are several more that are still being salvaged. And the last one’s body was too damaged, but it’s core we were able to extract. And one more that appears to be a pilotable machine” He points to a white. black and yellow machine with a large red scarf.
“ Meanwhile. My Lights Foundation is getting these bad boys.”
He points to the left and several train themed robots, as well as a black and red unit similar to a Exbein .
As he starts to explain a grey earth stallion with blonde hair and glasses runs towards them
“Sir! Sorry to interrupt! But we got subject 1 up and running!”
“Really? Come on lets go!”
In a secured area, their is a white and blue train robot it’s eyes are lit up and it seems to be searching for something, even with it unable to move it’s body.
“Maito! Maito! Where are you!?”
“I can explain, sir.”
The machine looks at Neon Lights
“A....horse? How are you talking? And why do you have a horn?”
“I’ll explain. You and the other machines crashed just outside of our city of Manehattan a few days ago. We’ve been trying to get a handle on the situation, if you do not mind”
“So you’re an alien horse? And this ship we crashed landed on your planet?”
“We prefer the term Pony if you do not mind ”
The robot looks at the unicorn stallion, sizing him up
“Don’t worry, we’re just trying to repair you and figure out where you came from and how to get you back, or failing in the last one, use you to fight the aliens invading us currently”
“Invaders?” The robot man asked curiously
“We don’t know if it’s because you crashed here, or if they simply were already on their way. But, we’d like you and your friends once we can get them working to lend us your strength Mr....”
“.....Gaine. My name is Gaine.”
In the other section, Clementine Orange looks at the assembled wrecks of machines and sighs.
“Ma...I mean mother’s certainly going to be confused when I tell her about this”
“Hey what’s in here?”
Babs said looking at a chamber
“We’re still trying to get those units out of there. So their fate hasn’t been decided.” The grey earth stallion said looking at Babs.
Babs trips on a small white police badge like device and suddenly a pair of eyes light up
“Yuutaaaa...”
Macross Quarter, Next Day, enroute to Ponyville
Twilight trots down the Macross Quarter’s halls, eventually hearing a banging sound from Cutie Mark Crusaders’ room

“Ouch. They look pretty painful, Twi’. Anything we can do to help?”
“Nothing really. Just need to figure out what’s keeping it sealed. Least Pinkie Just has to type something in her Sushi Changer and it starts making that Lobster Origami she’s working on”
Cut to Pinkie typing in Live in her Sushi Changer as the symbol for it flies into a fish tank with a inactive Lobster-like Origami inside in it’s small size.
“Besides the rest are in the simulations at moment. Hopefully they’re using this time to hone their skills at piloting their machines.”
“The Great and Powerful Trixie Challenges you to another match!”
“Why so you can get your flank kicked again?” Rainbow Dash said flying next to her with a grin
“Or they could be just playing video games.”

“Thanks for coming everypony. Me and Big Mac have some news on the machines here. I’ll give him the floor”
“Aight. See ever since we figgered out about those humans we’ve been modifyin’ some of their tech to work for us bet. Bolts?”
“Yup! Well first off we took the flight suits they have for the Valkyries here and modified them for their future pilots”
Rainbow Dash raises a hoof
“Okay. Why?”
“Well Dash, as you all know, not everypony can fly so we needed to make modifications to the suits so unicorn and earth pony pilots can bail out of them if something happens Otherwise.”
“I made a animation of it if you need more reason”
“No. No I think we’ve got it.”
“Okay. Moving on to situation updates. As you know there are, not counting the recently arrived Hagane, still three ships still being salvaged. “ She brings up the Screen.
“The Hirume which fell in Manehattan. Orange Heavy Industries is taking care of that.”

“The Macross 7, which landed off the coast of Vanhoover.”
“Wait another Macross?”
“Yea. What we gathered, our Macross is a differen’ make, th’ Macross Quarter Class.”
“While the one in Vanhoover is of the New Macross Class. And it landed with some kind of dome city thing.”
“Wait...a Whole City in a ship!? And it crashed down?” Twilight said looking in shock
“Most of Vanhoover got evacuated in time, but most of it’s flooded. But it’s weird. From what intell we’ve got, the city is as empty as the ships themselves. Sure, buildings and objects are left. But no inhabitants. It’s like they just....vanished.”
And lastly a red, white and blue ship appears on screen
“And the Valstork which is near Fillydelphia. Fortunately this one seems to require the least maintenance and smallest crew to use it. A pony called Time Turner should be in charge of getting that up and running.”
“The Argama and the Hagane should be arriving after us and we’ll rendezvous with the Albion. I’m told one of the units from the Valstork will be arriving on it’s own to participate.”
“The Hirume and the Macross 7 will not be participating due to their crews still working on them and their units”
The Hagane
“Sir we’ve managed to get the Exbein Ashe and the Weissritter repaired. We’re ready for the tests.”
Silver Nox looks at the Exbein Ashe. “Good I’ll be piloting this unit for the tests. Who do we have for the Weissritter’s pilot?”
“Umm according the list....”
“Heya Folks! What’s shakin?”
A lavender pegasus mare with a blond mane trots in
“Second Lieutenant Cloud Kicker.....”
Nox face hoofs
“I’m sorry sir, she was a last minute addition before we left Canterlot. ”
Nox mumbles something along the lines of what did he do to deserve this
“She’s scored very high in her class. Also her skill in the simulator seems top notch.”
“Doesn’t make this any less difficult.”
“You both realize I’m standing right here.” Cloudkicker said looking at both of them

“Yup. So this is my robot thingy?” She said looking at the Weissritter
“It’s name is the Weissritter and you’ll treat it like it’s not a cheap toy. Understood, soldier?”

Ponyville, an hour later
Spike is walking along the streets, carrying a list. He walks past several posters depicting three missing ponies.
“Let’s see, feed Opal. Check. Make sure Angel doesn’t turn Fluttershy’s pets into his own cult. Painful and Check.” He said rubbing his scales on his right arm. “Feed Gummy. Check. What’s next on the list? Head over to the Albion to see if their are any reports that need sending the Princess.” Spiked Sighed as he walked.
He thinks back to the Crystal Empire. How he saved an entire Empire and All of Equestria. And here he is, the world in danger again. And he’s stuck at home doing errands. Again. Like always.
“ Really wish I could help out. Somehow...”
Meanwhile, high orbit above Equuis.
“DAMN IT, Firelock! I thought you knew how fly this damn thing!”
“Yeah! Barely! I got us out the ship, didn’t I, Cyan!?”
“Idon’twannadie. Idon’twannadie. Idon’twannadie”
“Royal Blue, calm down, we’re almost home. Least I think I remember continents like that from the maps.”
“So what’s the plan once we get there, oh Brave and Wondrous leader Cyan Skies?” Firelock said looking at Skies.
“I...kind of didn’t think we’d make it here...”
“....So let me get this straight. We broke out of the lab...”
“Girls....”
“Got Shot at By Security....”
“Girls...”
“Got Shot at by their giant robots as we tried to escape in this thing”
“Girls.”
“AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE SENSE TO PLAN WHAT WE DO ONCE WE MAKE IT BACK TO EQUUIS!”
“GIRLS!”
“What is it Royal Blue!?”
“Sensors says we’re crashing.....”
“OH FUCK ME!”
“This can’t get any wors....”
Suddenly Red Warp Gates Open up behind them.
“Skies! DAMN IT!”
Firelock Pushes random buttons until the machine rockets faster towards the planet
“What are you doing!?”
“Do you want to go back there!? “
“Good point. Let’s just hope if we get out of this alive, somepony can help us...”
Back to the Everfree Forest
Spike is walking in the halls of the Albion. The repairs of the ship are basically done.
A blue pegasus stallion with a Rainbow Mane inspects the bridge.
“Captain Spectrum Dash. We’re nearly done making repairs to the ship. We’ve already got Cherry Fizzy heading into the hanger to give the GP-01 it’s test drive. The GP-02, we’re still trying to find a way to defuse it’s main weapon, as per Princess Celestia’s orders.”
“Good. How much longer will that take?”
“Only a couple hours. Oh and Twilight Sparkle’s assistant is here to send the reports to Princess Celestia”
Spike waves. “Hey Captain. What do you got for me?”
“Nothing Much, kid. Just need this folder sent. Sorry if we don’t got any gems today. We’ll give you extra tomorrow before we leave.”
Spike nods, licking his lips. “Okay” He said before breathing his fire on the folder, it’s dust going towards Canterlot now.
An explosion occurs in the hanger
“What was that!?”
“Sir we’ve got an intruder in the hanger! They’ve stolen the GP-02!”
“What!? Get this ship in the air, right now! We’re going after it!!”
“No good Captain! The engine’s gonna need more time to power up!”
A voice comes on the coms
“This is Cherry Fizzy! I’m going to pursue the enemy!”
Another voice comes on
“This is Captain Shining Armor. The Macross Frontier will be here in Eight Minutes along with the Argama. Can you hold on till then?”
“First Lieutenant Silver Nox here. The Hagane’s on it’s way. The Argama is behind us”
“Roger! Looks like the tests became a practical one!”
“Spike! Get yourself to the lower part ship, kid. “
Spike didn’t need to be told twice. As he runs he can’t help but say to himself “Dammit! I wanna help! What hrll is it gonna take!”
At this point a giant robot literally Crashes through a wall next to spike. It is a slender, frail-looking unit and it’s built suggests it was made for speed and mobility. It is blue and white, with gold highlights and has a large gun on it’s back.
It’s cockpit pops open, and out, practically pouring out comes three fillies, only a little older than the CMC. One, a green pegasus pony with a matching jacket and purple mane. The next bright orange unicorn filly with a jacket that is orange and white and a messy red mane. The last is a White Earth Pony with blue hair and a blue and white jacket, of them she’s the only one with a cutie mark, some sort of flower
“Um, Hi!” Spike said, not knowing what else to say.
“.....DRAGON!” The white one hides behind the others.
“Shhhh. It’s okay. It’s only a baby one, Blue.”
“I’m a boy dragon, and my Name is Spike if you don’t mind. “
The orange filly nods
“This is Cyan Skies.” She said pointing to the Pegasus
“Nice to meet you”
“And that’s Royal Blue”
“U-um Hi.”
“And I’m Firelock” the unicorn filly said
The Controls for the machine begin glowing and making all kinds of noises.
“I...think it’s reacting to ….him” Royal Blue said, her eyes widening
“I Knew it was a good idea to crash here!” Cyan Skies said smiling
“Hey! Spike, or whatever your name is! We need you to get in this thing and kick those guys attacking this place asses!” Firelock said hopefully
“...So you’re asking me. A baby dragon. To pilot this giant robot to save the day?”
“Well yeah!” Said the unicorn filly
“I’LL DO IT!” His eyes said lightning up. This is his chance! A chance to be a hero again!
“Really? I figured it would take a lot to get you in this”
“Who in their right mind would turn down the chance to pilot a giant robot that just dropped out sky in front of them like this!? “ He left out the part of "Carrying three cute girls, no less!" on purpose.
Somewhere another Universe, Touya Shun sneezes.
Spike Practically hops into the cockpit as soon as the pegasus pony and earth pony fillies exit.
“Alright, Spike. Let’s hit it” The cockpit closes and the screens light up
Stage 3: Fate
Several Soldier type units Red Gate In.
The GP-01 comes running, shooting at the GP-02.
“Take this, asshole!”
The blast hit’s the larger machine’s arm, resulting in explosion and lots of smoke. "Not bad, Terran. " The pilot said making the GP-02 draw its beam sword. She said waiting a few moments before quickly maneuvering to the right to dodge the GP-01’s beam sword coming down on it. “ Let see you try this on for size!" The pilot said rushing at the GP-01 with it’s beam sword.
“Shit!” Cherry Fizzy tries to block with the GP-01’s shield but is knocked down by the sheer force of the impact
“You’re about five years too soon to even attempt at being a match for me. Unfortunately you aren’t even getting five minutes.” The pilot smirks before trying to drive the GP-02’s beam sword into the cockpit of the GP-01
Two pistol like weapons eject from The Bellzelute ’s sides. It grabs them.
“Choke on this, jerkass!”
Spike fires off several Shots from Bellezelute’s guns at the GP-02 and then flies up shooting several of the Soldiers and knocking the GP-02 off balance.
“What the hell just happened!? The escaped unit from Division F? Well looks like today's my lucky day. Hey, Drones! Take them down. But try to get the Blue one in one piece.”
The GP-01 gets up to it’s feet and grabs it’s weapons. “Where’s the frequency? There! Don’t know who you are, but thanks! Take Down the GP-02, but don’t destroy it! It’s main weapon could take out the entire area!”
“Thanks for the heads up!” Spike said into the coms
“Wait, that voice.... You’re that dragon kid, Spines was it?”
“It’s Spike!” He said firing missiles at the guard detail for the GP-02. Several dodge, but three are blown up.
“Hey! Need some help?” A mares voice comes over the comlink
A white, blue and red jet RAMS into one of the units while enveloped in a red energy. It Spins until it pierces through it and rockets through and the Soldier explodes
“That’s the unit from the Valstork! The Valhawk!” Cherry Fizzy said
The Valhawk floats near the other units before transforming into it’s [url= http://srwog.velv.net/mecha_images/valhawk.png]humanoid shape
“What’s the other bot?” a lavender mare said from inside the Valhawk’s cockpit
“It’s a friendly. Twilight Sparkle’s assistant is piloting.”
“Oh! Hi, Spike!” Dinky said over the coms, apparently co-piloting the Valhawk
“Hi Dinky. Wait, what are you doing in there?”
“Well me and big sis are piloting this thingy together. Right, Amethyst?”
“Hate to interrupt the introductions. But the enemy probably is after the machine we’re in, Spike” Firelock said
“Why do you say that?”
“Um.....me and the others...kind of sort of stole it to break out of one their ships to get here...”
“....You know. This is information I could have used BEFORE I JUMPED AT THE CALL!”
“Wait. Ships? What do you mean?” Cherry Fizzy asked, while he controls the GP01 and makes it slash through a soldier unit
“Something like that one we came out of except it was all in Space. Ya know, not on the planet?”
They said dodging enemy fire. Talking is not a free option
“Well I know how this thing works for the most part. Pull out the Orgun Rifle!”
“The what?” Spike said looking for the controls
“The Big Gun Thing!” Firelock said facehoofing
“Oh! Why didn’t you call it that?”
“We’ve still got 3 minutes before reinforcements arrive! Try not to die!”
“Don’t worry we should be good as long as there are no enemy reinforcements...”
Suddenly Red Gates appear and more Bugs and Soldiers Gate in. Several of the Bugs latch on to the GP-01 and start attacking
“....Yeah I know. I'm a dumbass” Spike said in a dead panned voice.
“Good! You’re learning kid.” Cherry Fizzy said face hoofing as he makes the GP-01 slice through two of the Bugs while the Valhawk shoots the rest off of it.
The Bellzelute reaches for the Orgone Rifle and rockets into the sky.
Bellzelute brings the gun to it’s chest as it takes aim. The Short Launchers attach to it forming a crossbow like weapon. Greenish energy envelopes the Bellzelute
“Cover us! This thing has to charge!” Firelock screamed into
No sooner did she say that, the GP-02 lunges at the GP-01, beam sword in hand. Both the Valhawk and the GP-01 block it with their beam swords.
“75% Charged Spike!”
The Valhawk uses it’s free hand to Shoot at the arm of the GP-02 with it’s gun.
“85 Percent!”
The GP-02 backs up and fires it’s vulcans from it’s heads.
“118..119...120%! Spike!”
“You got it! Orgone Rifle A! Fire!”
No Sooner than Spike said it, a green crystal spearhead forms at the end of the Orgone Rifle. When he fires it , it impales about six of the enemy Soldiers all at once. Each of them explode as it passes through them. The GP-02 manages to Dodge, the spear damaging the shield.
Several large Blue And Red Shots of energy pierce through the remaining Soldier units.
“WOW! This is awesome!” Cloudkicker said making the Weissritter spins in mid-air and shoot laser blasts at the GP02
The Exbein Ashe floats down, it’s cape blowing in the wind, and the tape on it’s right arm, peeling off. It runs firing blasts from it’s Graviton Rifle at the the enemy.
“Not bad. For a Rookie”
“Isn’t this your first time piloting that too, First Lieutenant”
“ Hmm. Probably going to need to have adjustments made to the right arm.”
The Garmraid Lands down behind the two.
“Hey, Nox! Fizz!” Shining Armor bellows
“SA!? Hot Damn! Am I glad to see you!“
“Hey Captain Armor. Sleep with any Bugs lately?” Silver Nox said smugly
“We all agreed to never speak of that again. The Cavalry has arrived!”
In a flash of Blue the Argama, the Macross Quarter and the Hagane appear. The Albion is in tow behind them.
The origami combine with it to form Shinken-oh
“Shinken-Oh! United Under Providence! Okay I owe you ten bits Rainbow Dash.” Rarity said with an annoyed voice.
The R-1, R-2 Powered, R-3 Powered land next to the Shinken-Oh
“Alrighty! It’s our starring moment!” Scootaloo said raiding a hoof up
“No. It’s Spike’s Scootaloo, since the Chapter title refers to his unit’s BGM”
“Don’t be silly Pinkie. Spike’s not piloting that thing”
“Uhh...Actually Twilight. I am.”
There is a long pause
“SPIKE GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT THING! IT’S DANGEROUS!”
“Get out. In the Middle of a warzone.”
“....Fine.”
Suddenly a damaged Soldier unit grabs onto the leg of the GP02
“Hey wait! What are you doing!?”
The machines both warp away in a flash off red.
“OH COME ON!” Yelled Sweetie Belle.
A few minutes later, in the Albion
“So from my understanding, the three of you, stole one of the enemy machines and escaped back here.” Silver Nox said looking at them
“T-that’s correct.” Royal Blue said
“You have no memory of who you were before they got ahold of you” Shining Armor
“First thing I remember was being a in a white room inside some plastic tube thingy.” Firelock said thinking
“And you crashed here and recruited what basically amounts to my nephew to save you” Shining Armor said looking at the trio.
“Um....sorry?” Cyan Skies said.
A few minutes pass and they all leave the room
“Well it’s just like Spike and Twilight said. The enemy must have erased their memory.” Shining Armor said shaking his head.
“So Dad, what’s gonna happen to them?” Rainbow Dash said looking at Spectrum
“Well I say we keep them here.” The older Dash said looking at his daughter.
“What why, dad?”
“1. They have Nowhere else to go. 2. If we leave them somewhere else, we run the risk of the enemy attacking them to try to recapture, and we see that they don’t give two shits about how many ponies get hurt in the crossfire. 3. Least here, the ship moves and they’ll be protected around the clock.”
The three fillies trot over to Spike
“Thanks for your help Spike. I guess we’ll be seeing you around someday.”
“I’d bet. I’m staying here with you guys.”
“....What?”
“I’m not joking Twilight. I wanna help! And I’ve got a robot to do it now.”
“Spike, this is too dangerous...”
“You mean like going off to fight Nightmare Moon? No offence Princess Luna”
“None is taken, young Spike”
“Err”
“Or Discord the first and third rounds against him?”
Suddenly Discord Pops in “Hey where’s my No offense!?”
“Where the hell did you come from Discord?” Discord already is gone “And he’s gone...” Spike said not really even being phased.
“Or fighting that grown dragon. Or going to freaking Tartarus. Or fighting hordes of changelings.”
“Alright! Fine! You can help Spike.”
Shining Armor snerks. “Okay. So here’s the plan”
A few minutes later on the Albion’s bridge
“The Albion and the Hagane will be heading to Vanhoover day after tomorrow to help with getting the Macross that fell there and all of it’s equipment online.”
Cadence points to Manehattan on the map. “Meanwhile, the Macross Quarter, the Argama and the Valstork are heading to Manehattan to assist with getting the units the Hirume has online.”
“WEEE! ROUTE SPLIT!” Pinkie said throwing her hooves in the air
Spectrum Dash looks at Shining Armor “Is she always like this?”
“Yes” Everypony from the Macross Quarter and Spike said.
Amethyst Star speaks up. “Me and Dinky also brought along some of the files for the Valstork’s other units.”
Several images appear on the screen, among them is a bulky red and black unit . On one of it’s arms is a Stake like weapon, on the other is gun.
“Wait...This one looks like Trixie’s Grungust!” Trixie said pointing to indeed, another Grungust , only this one is Black and Gold and has a massive sword behind it.
“According to this it’s called the Grungust Type 0. ” Amethyst said
Several white units, one in particular has red accents
The last machine is a white, blue and red gundam with yellow accents. it seems to have a samurai motif
“We also got some kind of design for some kind of ship and two units.”
Twilight looks at it, her horn glowing as it translates the writing “Ex--cell--lion? Buster Machines No. 1 and No. 2?”
“How about we trade a couple units?”
“What do you mean?” Amethyst said looking at Silver Nox
“The Alteisen looks rather similiar to the Weissritter. Like it was made to work with it. I think I’d like to trade it with the Altairion”
“I’ll bring it up with my Dad.”
A few hours, On board the Macross Quarter
“You’re Sure about this Spike?”
Spike is talking to Twilight and Princess Luna via comlink
“Positive Twilight. I’m the only one who pilot the Bellzelute besides those three. And let’s face it, Firelock’s the best out of the three of them and she can barely make it move, let alone fight. Besides. I’m the first...thing they’ve met since they got here and they are staying here on the Albion.”
“And you don’t want them to get hurt because you decided to come with us on the Macross Quarter. Is that correct, young Spike?”
“Exactly. And besides, Royal Blue’s the only one of them who has a cutie mark, even if she can’t remember what it’s for. And the last thing we want is to have Five Crusaders running around your ship, Twilight.”
Twilight starts to try to argue, but sees Spike’s point.
There is a loud banging sound, like something fell over
“What was that? Another intruder?”
“Letme Go ya gits! I wanna see Princess Luna!”
“What a second! GUARDS BE STILL!”
They put down a small brown and white colt
“Princess Luna!”
“Pipsqueak! How are you doing little one?” She said embracing the colt in a hug
Shining Armor trots over to Twilight “They know each other?”
“I have Something to show you, Pipsqueak.”
“Yeah. Let’s just say Pipsqueak is probably the first pony to say he prefers her over Princess Celestia.”
“We should leave those two alone. I’m sure whatever Princess Luna is saying to Pipsqueak is important. It can probably shape that colt’s destiny....” Shining Armor said smiling.
In Luna’s private quarters
“VERILY! This show about Giant Robots and Drills Is Entertaining!”
“Ya Princess Luna! This show is really cool! But thing that Simon thing has. I think I’ve seen it before.” He reaches into his saddlebag and pulls out a necklace with a small drill like device hanging on it
“Huh? It does look like the drill he uses to pilot Lagann. Maybe whoever owned this ship was a fan of this program and made a replica.”
“I want you to have it, Princess Luna!”
“Oh I don’t think.....” She looks at his hopeful eyes. “Of course Pipsqueak” She levitates it around her neck smiling.
back in Twilight’s room on the ship
“Okay so now that we’re loading up supplies, what’s the next order of business?”
“How about ‘Come up with a name for ourselves’ ?“
“Rainbow Dash kind of has a point, Twilight. We’re a military institution now, we need a name.”
“OH! Let’s called ourselves the Alpha Numbers!” Pinkie Shouts
“That seems kind of weird.”
“How about the Steel Dragon Battalion?” Rarity Asks
“First off we have one dragon and no”
“The Blitz Team?” Rainbow Dash said
“That sounds like a hoofball team”
“Well what would you call us then, Twilight?”
“The Special Extracurricular Execution Squad?” Twilight said proudly
“.....And you thought our names sound stupid. First off the only ones still in school are you and the Cutie Mark Crusaders....”
“How about….the Xros Heart Army?” Fluttershy suggested
“What, no. That’s a terrible name for us, Fluttershy.”
“I dunno I kind of like that one.” Cadence said.
“Not you too Cadence.”
“Maybe we should call ourselves something like the Londo Bell…” Shining Armor said thinking
“What does that even mean?”
“Look, Ah vote we just sleep on it. A name that’s...half way good might come to us.”
Next Day in Ponyville Elementary
“So with Ms Cheerilee missing who do you think’s gonna be teaching us?” Chip Mint said looking over at Button Mash.
“Please don’t say it’s Snowflake....” Button said almost pleading
“Don’t let Featherweight hear you say that. You know how he gets when ponies badmouth his big bro.” Pinchy said “Where is he anyways?”
Cut to the Argama.
Featherweight crawls through one of the vents.
“Okay, so maybe I should have thought things through before I tried to get a couple pictures of the robots....”

The door opens and a yellow pegasus stallion with a brown mane in a brown suit trots in.
“Morning Class. I’m Mr Hawk. I’ll be substituting for Cheerilee for the foreseeable future. Hopefully we can all get along in the meantime. Now everypony open your social studies books to page 65 and we’ll begin studying the Pre-Bronze era myths.”
About an hour goes by
“Now according to legend, the ponies that lived in the Old Lands before the Three Tribes believed in three demons, the Fanged Demon, the Finned Demon and the Horned Demon and their horde of Sea monsters terrorized them and demanded ponies to follow them or die. They also believed that their enemies, the Four giants, the Yellow Giant, the Black Giant, the Crimson Giant, and the Grey Giant protected them from the Demons. “ For some reason Mr Hawk is chuckling at this while he shows a image in on the board of three monsters standing on a mountain with several different creatures behind them on the left. On the Right are four noble looking giant humanoid creatures locked in combat with them.
The bell rings.
“Well it’s lunch time. Everypony's free to go. Except you four.” Hawk said pointing to the CMC plus Dinky Hooves. The four of them wait as he trots over.
“None of you are in trouble. I’ve been informed about your leave of absence. So you girls don’t need to worry. Just make sure to get caught up once you get back”
Aftermath of yesterday’s battle, around 4 pm.
Three Stallions stand looking at the wreckage.
The first is a black unicorn stallion with a brown mane and a large scar on his midsection. His cutie Mark is a dolphin inside a life preserver
The second is the grey earth stallion who was at the Hirume Crash Site. His mark is a pen next to a open book
The third is a red pegasus stallion with a black mane. His cutie mark is a satellite dish.
“Hawk should be here in a few minutes.” The unicorn said looking at his watch
“This had better be really important, guys. I’ve got a date in like three hours.” The earth pony said in an annoyed tone.
“Somethings never change with you, Lander” said the pegasus while shaking his head
“Remember, aliases.” the unicorn said looking at the pegasus. “That means, Landmine.” He said pointing at Lander. “Cloudburst.” he said pointing at the pegasus. “Waverider” he said to himself.
The yellow pegasus stallion swoops down to meet the others.
“Good all of us are here.”
“Been awhile since we’ve all been together, eh Hawk. How goes the new Job?”
“Well it’s different from working at the observatory. Besides it only temporarily till their teacher is found. I’m sure you’ve been busy at the aquatics center, Waverider.”
“Hah! You know it.”
“Cut to the chase, Hawk. What is the deal?” Lander said looking annoyed
“Celestia wants us to examine the wreckage here. Make sure Blood doesn’t have his mark on this. It should only take a few minutes.”
As the group examines the wreckage, the unicorn looks at Hawk. “So....how’s Luna doing?”
“I spoke with her a few weeks ago. She’s doing fine. Why do you ask?”
“Nothing. She keeps avoiding me.”
“It can’t be that bad....”
“She leapt out a window and flew as fast as she could once she heard I was visiting the Palace. I think someone claims there was a Rainboom when she did it.”
“Well the last time she saw you she tried to rip your Spark out because you were holding her off long enough for Celestia to get to the Elements.”
“I was there, Hawk.” the unicorn stallion said blankly.
“Look. Just give her time. You know how Luna is.”
“Done.” the red pegasus stallion known as Cloudburst said. “Don’t look like it’s gonna any of the usual stuff the ‘Cons use.”
“Does this mean I can go guys?” Lander/Landmine said looking at the others
“Yes, Landmine. Say hi to Cadence next time you see her for me.”
“Will do, but I think that kid’s busy what with her helping Celestia’s protege with this thing. Anyways, I better start heading back to Manehattan.”
“Wait how is he gonna get all the way back to Manehattan in such short...” There’s a flash of light. “Of course.” A sound of tires treading and Landmine is gone.
Back in Manehattan
Babs is still talking to the robot man she awoke.
“So you’re a police officer?”
“That’s right, Babs” He does a cool police officer kind of firing pose with his gun and shows his police badge.

“She’s been talking with him for hours now.”
“Yeah, we spent the past couple days trying to get him online and Babs activated him completely on accident” Neon Lights said looking at her
“Thanks again for letting her come back and speak with him, Neon.”
“Don’t mention it, Clementine. I take it you’re handling Deckard and his friends?”
“Most definitely. “ Clementine said smiling. “Don’t want to separate Babs from her friend here.”
