Chapter 1: My last thiesis

I am Greendawn and this is my last thesis, I fear we will not live through the infection. I am angered because I know I have started it, damn it all. Why I was bribed and hell, even put through pain just too accidentally create a disease that equestrians have contracted, a disease I refrain using strange I know exactly what it was. It attacks the brain, destroys the pony that was once inside, and is then a lifeless husk that only hungers for flesh. And I didn’t typo I really wish that was, but yes they hunger for flesh as another tip do not let they bite you whatever you do. My wife was attacked and bitten by a zombie. She turned in front of my eyes it was the worst experience. I had to put her down then I had to actually study her remains to try to find the damned cure. It was unsuccessful and I mutilated the corpse I felt dirty I buried her. I dropped a fake rose which is all I had and went back into hiding.

Now exactly how to explain how this happened, celestia wanted to keep all evil out of equestria forever to let everyone happy. She gathered all of the elements of harmony, to create a seal all around the borders of equestrian. Which I helped with, and I was happy, that I could help and that all of equestria would be safe. But when we mixed the elements of harmony together to make such a bond a violent reaction gave loose. The entire room exploded in rainbows, the rainbows turned green then faded black. Celestia fell, and I heard a thump not too far away. Celestia’s eyes turned a green glow, she snarled and jumped for the nearest pony all that I could remember was, that he was a grey mane’d and furred pony was ripped to pieces in minutes. Celestia was eating him. Some mutagen was created not friendship or happiness a plague. Everyone looked in horror the door then exploded open adjacent to my working station. Luna was attacking another pony tackling him down and ripping flesh from his neck swallowing and biting for more. While there was a panic I ran to a contamination containment unit used to contain a disease, now it is used for a safe haven.

Rainbow dash the only one hell bent on not dying, she was kicking others into a pulp blood flew through the room fluttershy hovered above afraid and shaking. Rarity and twilight were barring up doors with magic some blood flew from celestia some of it hit rainbow but she continued, a little dot hit rarity she freaked out and threw a case of volatile chemicals landing on a pony desperately fighting for her life, her skin melted, she was screaming in agony and was now lying on the floor rolling around frantically, the thing she was fighting fell on her and was eating her more screaming filled the room. Pinkie pie sat in a corner just laughing and laughing, as if there was no wrong celestia’s horn glowed and light filled the room, an explosion ripped loose about a few meters away destroying the door the girl that was burnt, stood up turned around and pounced rarity she was screaming either because she was going to die or that she had blood in her mane. Twilight used her magic to grab the walking corpse, she ripped it in half then slung it to the right the top part of the pony started to crawl towards twilight she was scared you could tell she used a fire spell and caught the creature on fire. The thing eventually stopped. Rainbow hit celestia her neck broke around, she didn’t budge she turned around and struck again.

She looked intently at rainbow dash, twilight used her fire to light everything that didn’t have a pulse on fire, they moved for a few agonizing minutes. They fell into smoldering heaps. I left the room the princess was dead who would rule. What are we going to do about what just happened. Well in retrospect, nothing happened, nothing changed they lied globally about celestia, twilight had to raise the sun and moon, she became weak, very weak rarity started helping, they became too weak finally they got ill, twilight died in hospital and rarity went into a coma, no one even knows who raises the sun now, I assumed they had set it on a cycle that continued to drain their energy they were dying and no one could do anything. No one went to twilights funeral, they didn’t want to make it seem like an element was dead so they had a small get together in the library, spike left early he apparently couldn’t take it he left far away and no one’s seen him since. The last place anyone has seen spike is he visited rarity, leaving a large heart shaped sapphire he must have incubated it since she started her coma. When they left pinkie stayed the night there, no one could hear anything but sobbing.

The next outbreak came soon after; rainbow dash had hidden infection, blood of celestia landed in her eye during the fight she had lied. When she turned she was asleep it was peaceful or at least that’s how I wish it was, she had taken many lives since then. Leaving fire in her wake the town was ablaze and only a few escaped applejack had stayed out of the whole mess she was smart, but they had to substitute celestia for her element. I believe she is the only element to survive, I left I fled to Canterlot it was a fortress, and it was sure that shining armor kept watch when I got there I was wrong, very wrong it had already happened I was unaware how or why but I couldn’t go there. I had to find a lab I had to study to try to fix this or even find a way to create a weapon to fight against them, but for now it’s a matter of surviving so I leave you here. A pony with red fur and mane levitated the note down, and looked into the distance fire and disease, he wore a bandana to cover his mouth. He started to walk away.
