Twilight Sparkle's been a sorta average filly; smart, kind, but having her share of flaws, too. It all changes when she is introduced to the wonders of magic, and fails the entrance exam to Celestia's School of Gifted Unicorns. Disgraced by her family and friends she runs away to Ponyville, a rustic, suburban town where there's almost perfect harmony. When the time comes she tries to confront Celestia for a failure of the exam out of simple growing hatred, but whatever happens is beyond her control.
