Mother Sun, Father Moon

One peaceful night, my mother had a strange dream. She explained it to me once before the incident... She had recongnized it as a prophecy dream that spoke of fear, betrayal and hate in the night. This was not the night we knew of. We knew a night that was filled with peace, and we thought of it as a blessing that allowed us to rest peacefully. But in this dream, this one dream that had changed our world forever, the Night was ruled by a truly evil spirit. She said she had saw a pony that looked just like Father. And then whispers that muttered of one who will betray us all. Mother believed that this meant that Father would go bad and bring everlasting g night. Knowing from her eons of experience that prophecies were always correct in the most Unexpected ways, she regretfully tried to destroy father.

I awoke to the sound of a crash. Careful not to wake my precious sister, I crept outside onto one of the many balconies at the Palace. Mother and Father were standing at the posts when they usually made the sky dark and light, but they were facing each other, Father's face full of confusion and Mother's showing no emotion. I flew off the balcony as quick as I could down to them to see what was the matter. As I flew down, however, mother's horn began to glow with orange light and I was blow back by an invisible force. "Celestia!" Father cried and ran toward me, but mother stopped him with another blast of magic. Father's eyes now grew with rage, and his horn began to glow with a dark aura as he aimed at mother. In response her horn lit up as well, and they both stood tall, preparing for a fight. At the same time, they both fired the two spells that would change the world forever, two spells that we will never teach any living soul. Both alicorns were thrown back at the force of their opponent's magic so fast they were just a blur. I cried out but it was useless over the sound of  the blasts that rang all through Equestria. In an instant unicorn guards were teleporting ,Pegasi guards flying, and earth pony guards galloping towards the scene at top speed. I tried to stand up, but I was still weak from being hit by Mother's spell and my knees collapsed from under me. The guard were still trying to figure out what had happened, but one saw me and called out, and instantly I was carried back into the castle by unicorn guards. Then everything went black...
