You're beautiful, Rainbow Dash.

"Whats wrong, sis?" Asked Sweetie Belle. Rarity responded. "Oh... It's... It's nothing. Just remembering..." "Is it Rainbow Dash?" asked Sweetie. Rarity could feel her eyes tearing up again. "Yes..." Sweetie  responded. "You know, she wouldn't want you to be upset. Sure she'd want you to remember her, but mourning for 20 years..." Rarity sighed. "I know."

Rainbow was leaving today. She was leaving on the plane named "The Mare in the Moon". Apparently it was bad luck not to name your plane. Planes are a recent invention, which worried Rainbow's friends.

Applejack walked up to Rainbow. "What, to much of a pansy to fly to Serpentia, sugarcube?" Applejack teased. "What, you think I couldn't fly to Serpentia? I just want to rest my wings is all." Rainbow responded. "Sugarcube, ah was just teasin', no need to get all fussy."

"Oh... Um... I knew that! I was just joking too! Heh heh..." Rainbow said. "Ah'm sure ya were. Well sugarcube, you got a plane to catch." Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow Dash. "H-Hey! Applejack!" Applejack wouldn't let go. "Aw, what the hay." Rainbow started to hug Applejack too.

Before she knew it, Rainbow was on the plane. She brought a few Daring Doo books and a Flyers Monthly magazine. After a while Rainbow fell asleep.

She dreamed about what she usually did. Obviously it was being the captain of the Wonderbolts. They were performing in Canterlot, in front of the princesses.

Rainbow woke up from her wonderful dream. She was a bit disappointed that she wasn't the captain of the Wonderbolts, but was happy when somepony announced that they were ten minutes away from Serpentia. After a bit, the plane landed. Rainbow, after seven years, was in her hometown, Equine City.

"I really hope this is the right address." Rainbow Dash though out loud. She had been on a wild goose chase going house to house. The first address she went to was given to her by her sister. She asked the confused stallion who lived there if he knew the Dash families address. After going to five more wrong addresses, she was certain that this was the house. She knocked at the door.

A filly a bit smaller then Rainbow Dash opened the door. The filly's jaw dropped and her eyes spring open. "RAINBOW!!!!" The filly jumped up to Rainbow Dash and rapped her arms around her neck. Rainbow replied with, "Hey Hurricane! Long time no see!" Since Hurricane wasn't letting go, Rainbow just walked in with the filly hanging from her neck. She remembered the house completely. She walked into the living room. The lights were off and Rainbow couldn't see a thing. She turned on a light.

"SURPRISE!!!!! Welcome home Rainbow!" Rainbows family was there. Her mom, Lighting Dash, who was sitting on a chair, Hurricane Dash, who was still hanging around Rainbow's neck, and Uncle Barry, who had supported the Dash's ever since Father died in that accident. Father was a miner. He went to Equestria with 9 year old Rainbow. Rainbow had made a lot of friends in Cloudsdale though, so she stayed. She went from house to house, refusing to go home. Eventually, she got her own house and her own job. But now she was glad she was home.
