We quickly approached the market, it was a fine morning day as much as I remember, the sky most mostly clear and sections of light clouds covered portions of the sky, the market trailed off into a countless amount of stores lined up selling food, trinkets and valuable-looking but otherwise useless junk. My parents moved on to stern-fully examine every single store, giving a nod, a odd mumble and sometimes a displeased grunt. Overall, it was another dull and lifeless day at the market. Things were going as usual, I parted a few meters away from my parents so see a insignificant and tiny apple stand with nopony on the opposite side of it. I was peckish and I saw the opportunity. I sneaked past the unsuspecting crowd of others and reached for a apple, little did I know however, two large guardponies seemed to walk outside a nearby shop and saw me pluck an apple without any consent from the stall owner, I took a bite and trotted happily away from the stall only to be halted by a heavy hoof grasping my shoulder.
“AND what do you think you're doing?”
“Well, I'm eating an apple obviously, what does it matter to you?”
I turned around to see the pony stopping my path, it seemed to be a fully armoured guardspony with a look of impatience and anger in his face.
“Hehe, what do you mean?”
“Don't lie to me foal. I saw everything.”
“So you're going to arrest me? For being hungry and homeless?”
The guards looked at each other and started whispering back to each other, they turned back to me.
“Looks like you're in for a 'Visit' with the princess.”
“Really? A chance to meet the princess and get away trouble-free at the same time? Off to the castle!”
The two hoisted me up onto a carriage and we set off.
I was pushed into a large throne room, it looked spacious and amazing, the exact opposite of the dully market. In the middle of the fine room stood a large, white alicorn, none other than princess Celestia herself.
“Well, hello there young foal!” Celestia said in a rather unusually calm tone.
“Uh. Hi.”
“You are quite a shy one, now tell me, why would a young pony like this one be here?”
“He was caught stealing Mam'!” The guards-pony snapped quickly.
“WHAT? This young pony was caught STEALING?”
“Yes Mam', this is why we brought him here, for we don't know how to deal with him appropriately.”
“Well, have you contacted this pony's parents?”
“Mam', he claimed he was homeless and had no idea where his parents were.”
“Young foal, where are your parents?”
“I'm an orphan.”
“Don't dare lie to me!” Her tone was now that of a authority and slight aggravation.
“Bu-but, they died....”
I managed to put on a show and I started crying and rolling over on the luxurious carpet.
“No wait young foal! I didn't mean any harm, but I must know. Where on Equestria have you been living?”
“A emp-empty housse......”
I started exploding into a crying fit now.
“You still broke the law, young pony.”
“I'm I'm soory, but I was hungry.....”
“Well, are you still hungry? Why don't we find you something and we can work something out with your situation. Everything will be fine.”
She turned away for a moment and I immediately stopped my crying, I gave a loud cry.
“HA! That actually worked! I'm such a brilliant lia......”
“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?”
She flipped and gave me a look of pure anger, fear and worry flooded me.
“Uh. Nothing?”
“Tell me what you really said. Now.”
“Alright, alright, this is a grand castle.”
“You're lying.”
Two guards smashed through the door in reaction to all the commotion.
“Is something the matter Mam'?”
“Why yes there is, this young foal is a liar.”
Abruptly, Celestia's horn shot a light that enveloped my sight. I heard slight murmurs of slowly disappearing voices.
“Take him to the...................where..............liars................punish.”
A much closer voice echoed into his ears.
“Hello, hello? You ready?”
“Wha?”
I was dreaming again, often about humans, a non-exsistiental race with odd features, I just liked the way of them for some reason, everyone often complains about how I dream of them too much, but I didn't really care, it would be cool for a human to exist, it would be really cool for a human to type up every exploit of my adventure right now, but some things just don't exist like that. I suddenly felt control of my body again and I moved up next to the human, the darkness had now materialised into a rugged, desert like race track, and up next to the beginning line was a Ferrari.
“Here's the Ferrari you asked for, little pony!, now let's move!”
The human subsequently hopped into the passenger seat and patted on the spare driver seat. I moved on it and prepared to start it, I looked at it and then as I was about it finally turn it on before a huge electrical impulse surged though my body. I was dazed before the human started to grow a impatient tone.
“What are you doing? Lets drive!”
Another shock stopped me from starting the engine, a faint “CLEAR!” could be heard a second before the shock.
“LET'S GO! LET'S DRIVE!” the human shouted furiously now. But before I could even take it in a even louder “CLEAR!” shocked me and suddenly my environment changed from a desert track to a cavernous hospital, by it was a doctor with two metal pads and a nurse.
“Condition is clear. You've been unconscious for 2 hours my little pony! You were getting us worried!”
“Wha, humans..... magic..... where.. am I?”
“Don't bother getting up.”
He pointed at a hoof-lock with my leg attached to it, it also appeared the hoof-lock was attached to the medical table.
“You are in the chamber of truths, a place you will no leave until you tell nothing but the honest truth.”
“Great, how the buck am I supposed to get myself out of this mess?” I whispered to myself.
“Hmm. What did you say?”
“Oh. Uh. I could use a cup of water!
“You're obviously lying, this is why Celestia has you here.”
“Oh yeah, what exactly, is the chamber of truths?”
“It is a place where ponies who lie to the Princess are taken, it's a place of sorrow and suffering. You can guess why you're here.”
A sudden breeze of blinding light covered me, just like the first time Celestia cast it and within a few seconds I was in a windowless room with the same doctor, staring at me.
“Why do ponies let her do this? WHERE AM I?”
“You're still in the chamber, your next appointment is in 30 seconds. This time, you'll be conscious for it.”
Celestia entered through a small door which locked behind after her.
“Hello, Shooting Star.”
She had a content tone to her voice, a small grin appeared on her face. Wait. HOW did she know my name? I opened my mouth but the alicorn replied quickly.
“Don't worry, YOU told me everything, the chamber never fails, I know every little secret you ever kept secret. Just like how you a huge crush on Applebloom, you actually have loving parents and want to be a human!”
