A Darkness appears in the skies over Equestria, and this darkness is host to an unknown being. Trapped in Darkness for eternity, it wants to get out. When it stumbles over Equestria, a plan is set into motion, and the darkness will stop at nothing to escape!

This is a story about losses, new beginnings and fighting for survival. A story about a young colt that needs to grow up fast, about love, and an entire race that might very well be at the brink of destruction.

Will our heroes be able to stop what they cannot see? Will they even notice before it is too late? Or will they be destroyed before even knowing that something is going on?

This story takes place in the distant past, before Nightmare Moon came to be, and there were still more alicorns than the Royal Sisters.
