Celestia's Secret

"Celestia! Celestia! Where are you?" Luna called out to her sister. It was almost morning and she needed to raise the sun.

"Luna! I-I'm here!" Celestia called out from her bedroom door and backing out.

"Tia, may I ask why you're always in your bedchamber? It seems whenever I'm looking for you, you're here..." Luna asked promptly.

"Oh, well it is my bedroom isn’t it?" Celestia said with a light smile.

"Well yeah, but-" Luna began but was interrupted by Celestia

"Well, let's raise the sun for a new day!"

As Celestia walked Luna questioned why Celestia was always alone, was it that she had no friends?

She's the princess, everpony loves her.

Later that day Luna took a lovely stroll through Canterlot.

"Ah, what a marvelous city," she said to herself, "Why Tia doesn’t do this more often really worries me. She needs to clear her head of her duties and mingle with the common pony."

As she walked through Canterlot saw a brightly colored pegasus pony dash across the sky leaving a rainbow I her wake. This pony moved quick, Luna got a glimpse of the Pegasus with a cyan body and rainbow mane.

hm... I saw I’ve seen seen that pony before... what was her name?

She thought trying to remember the mare's name. As the cyan mare darted overhead the name hit Luna.
“Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash!” She yelled out, it nearly sounded like the Royal Canterlot voice.
The cyan pony stopped noticing her name being called out she looked around to find the source and saw the regal mare looking at her. Dash dove to ans met the princess.

“L-Luna? Your majesty can I assist you?” She said landing on the ground and slightly bowing.

“Arise my subject, no need for this bowing! Tell me, how is the Ponyville crowd and the Elements doing?” Luna asked motioning her hoof upwards implying Dash to stand.

“Good, Ponyville's doing good. Everything's fine there.” Dash said trying her best not to have you usual cocky tone.

“Well isn’t that grand! Tell me what are you doing here Rainbow Dash?” Luna asked

“Oh Well, The Wonderbolts are doing a show here and I was on my way to see 'em, and I was doing a little practicing, you know so cool tricks and stuff.” She said you could hear the excitement in her voice. Dash loved the wonderbolts with a great passion. Enough to fly all the way out here to see them.

“H-how are things with you?” Dash asked, She felt like she shouldn’t, I mean its no business of her what the royalty is doing.

“Well, we've been fine thank you for asking though... Me and Celestia have been having problems though but, we'll are fine.” Luna said, she thought nothing of telling anypony about Celestia.

“How is the Royal pupil Twilight Sparkle?” Luna asked trying to change the subject.

“Twilight? Fine She's fine, haven’t really talked to her In a little bit, Why not pay her a visit?” Dash suggested.

“What a Marvelous idea! Its been how long since I’ve been to Ponyville. Adios Rainbow Dash!” Luna said flying off.

As she reached Ponyville everything seemed normal. She flew in front of the library, knowing it was twilight's home. She stopped and landed in front of it. She knocked powerfully on the door.

"Hello- P-Princess Luna?!" Twilight said, shocked by this strange visit.

"Hello Twilight! I was having a wonderful conversation with Miss Rainbow Dash and it made we wonder how the Royal pupil was doing?" Luna asked.

"F-fine, come in!" Twilight said moving out of the way so the princess could enter.

"Anyways I've been fine I just finished writing my Friendship report for your sister." Twilight said.

"Well isnt that grant, you know she has a room just for your Friendship reports? Its Lovely!" Luna said.

“Wow! Thats really nice of her, I always kinda thought she threw them away.” Twilight said giving a light chuckle.

"Anyways, How is Celestia doing?" Twilight asked.

"Oh... Well she has been secluded lately. She stays in her bedroom all day and night...” Luna said with a worried tone.

"Oh Dear, Is she sick? Or injured? Depressed? " twilight questioned.

"I don’t know, I surely hope not... Other then that she seems normal!" Luna said.

“Well, If she continues to act like this I would love to help out” Twilight said.

"I will surely take you in consideration if she does not change, in fact im going to talk to her right now!," Luna said.

"I hope to talk to you soon!” Twilight said, waving to the departing Princess.

I WILL get an answer from Celestia, She needs help. I just hope its nothing too bad.

Luna thought as she flew away back home.

"Tia! Tia! Where are you!" Luna yelled out as she entered the castle.

"Here sister!" Celestia called out from her bedchamber.

Luna began to carefully enter Celestia's bedchamber.

"Tia... we need to talk..." Luna said entering the room. What she saw was very strange.

Celestia standing at her bedside covered in a gray strange material.

"T-Tia? W-What is that stuff?" Luna asked.

"Luna! what are you doing?!" Celestia declared

"Look I wanna help you, tell me what you're doing in hear and why." Luna said "I know you're up to something"

Luna approached Celestia, She knew that Celestia was up to something. Celestia backed up and hit a bedside table behind her. Luna was now nearly on top of her.

"L-Luna dearest, what is the matter?!"Celestia asked.

"What is that stuff? What are you up to? Sister I want to help you with whatever is wrong, Just tell me what the gray material is." Luna's question would be answered soon. The bedside table hit the back wall and make a clicking noise.

"What is that? Tia, what is that?!" Luna demanded. Celestia looks nervous, scared even.
Suddenly the bed slowly lifted up to a dark passage way going down into the mountain this castle is build in. Luna backed away from her sister, her jaw dangled as low as it could. She looked at her sister who looked... Angry and annoyed.

"Ah fuck, Well I tried..." Celestia said rolling her eyes. Luna jumped back from the foul language

"Sister! What is with you!? What is this?" Luna asked. The tables had turned.

“Walk down here... I'll show you...” Celestia said with an evil grin and hate in her words. Her tone seemed so menacing and yet relaxed, Her voice also got deeper, much deeper. Demonic like. So much different from her sweet and loving tone Luna knows.

Now Luna was scared.
Luna walked downstairs following her sister and what she saw shocked her.

It was a laboratory, large machines everywhere, cords an tubes taped to the floor. In the center of this masterfully carved room was a large tube pouring a strange liquid in a hole in the tube. This liquid looked like a rainbow color but paler. There was strange pieces of technology on the walls, Lab tables with beakers, and some very strange contraptions, on these select lab tables was the gray material that covered her dear sister.

"Dear god... What is this?" Luna asked horrified

"Well Luna, it's a long, long story..." Celestia's anger and hatred.

"Soon after I banished you to the moon I realize something, Do you know how hard it is to raise the sun lower it and do the same with the moon? It was terrible, I got little sleep, and well, it got to me. A few months after this I realized how hard it really is to keep peace and happiness in this damn world. The peace of the earth started to die out, I wasn’t doing anything. I was too busy. So I snapped, and you know what I did? I had my scientist get to the bare basics of happiness. What is it? Where does it come from? Can it be recreated? Not to bore your retarded little brain with the details, I artificially MADE the cell that causes happiness. After some work we made it into a liquid and finally began to pump it into every major source of water in the world. And afterward? Everything was calm and happy..." Celestia said evilly

"Oh my god! That horrible! This isn’t right, your manipulating your followers! This isn't right!" Luna said with fear in her eyes but a stern voice.

"Oh Sis, sometimes whats right... Isn't always 'right' hm?" Celestia said, This puzzled Luna.

"Sister, I demand you to stop this at once!" Luna demanded hoping her deranged sister would do so.

"Sorry dear, But its too late now... but I cant have you going around spreading terrible rumors about this so, I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill you... Love you." Celestia said seductively.

The crazed alicorn's horn lit brightly her eyes glowed with it, She let out a loud yell and charged at her sister Luna. Panicking Luna flung her wings in front of her to take the hit. Celestia slammed against her wings launching Luna back and almost into a wall.

"Tia please stop! You're my sister, I love you! please listen!" Luna pleaded.

"Sorry, but the 'Tia' you loved is dead now..." Celestia said charging at Luna.

It's time to fight back.

She powered up her horn and charged at his beloved sister.

*SLAM!*

The two alicorns' heads slammed against one an others, both pushing against the other to make her fall.

"Luna I really did love you.. too bad you're a filthy WHORE!" Celestia yelled shooting a large energy beam directly at Luna. She shot through the roof and into the sky above the castle. Luna was barely conscious. Luckily, she was awake enough to flee, flee to the first place that came to mind. Twilight’s home.

I-I gotta tell... Twilight... maybe she can help...

As Luna flew away she heard the screams of ponies and smelled the burning homes She tried holding back the tears but to no avail.

Celestia Why?

"TWILIGHT!"Luna screamed running through the library door and running up to the purple pony who was admiring her book collection.

"Luna! Dear god, what happened to you?! You're bleeding badly!" Twilight said, shocked and worried. Luna hadn’t realized that her nose, ears and wings were bleeding and she had large cuts an her back and legs.

"NO TIME! She'll be here soon! Celestia's gone mad! She's been pumping artificial happiness in the water! She-" A loud crash interrupted Luna. Then nearly all of the front part of the library was destroyed as Celestia flew in and slamming on the ground in front of Luna and Twilight.

"Sister, why did you run? We were having so much Fun..." Celestia said in her evil and seductive tone.

"Tia, please! I'm sorry!" Luna pleaded.

"Sorry? For what? THIS IS FOR PLEASURE!" Right when Celestia was about to strike her hoof against the grovelling Luna's face, a little aura of purple surround her hoof. Celestia looked up to see Twilight straining to lift the royal ponies hoof.

"Twilight, that’s not very nice... If you wanna play you should have asked.” She said with a grin that can only lead to evil. Celestia's magical aura wrapped around the purple ponies neck, chocking her.

"My my, I really didn’t train you well at all did I? You should have broken free already... Oh well, Goodbye you stupid bitch." Celestia said throwing the suffocating pony on the ground with all her might, face first into the hard wood and slamming her powerful hoof on her spine. All that was heard was a loud, painful crack...

"My, my she broke so easily! I hope the Royal body structure holds better..." Celestia said, turning to Luna, kneeling in front of Twilight's body lightly her.

"Twilight, please dear god no... wake up... please wake up..." Luna said in vain.
"HAHA! Oh sister, she is dead, and you're next. Any last words?" Celestia asked.

Luna had her head down over twilight's body sniffles where heard.

"Come on dear, you didn’t know her that well..." Celestia said. Just then she noticed Luna's eye which glowed brightly and was pure white.

"What is this?!" Celestia said, She backed away. Something about it scared her.
Luna's body rose in the air her mane blowing about and her eyes and horn glowing so bright.

"Luna, stop this and die!" Celestia demand.

Luna let out a scream, it was louder than royal Canterlot voice.

"SILENCE! I HAVE LISTENED TO ENOUGH OF YOUR CRAP! THE ARTIFICAL HAPPINESS WAS BAD, BUT KILLING PONIES FOR FUN? YOU KILLED YOUR PUPIL CELESTIA! I CANNOT STAND FOR THIS!!"

Suddenly, a large ball of energy formed at the tip of her horn. Celestia was horrified and confused.
To Celestia's surprise 5 lights of energy glowed around the large energy ball, One Purple, Blue, red, pink, and orange. Then the Elements of Harmony appeared in there appropriate color, The gems glowed brightly. The elements shot into the energy ball giving it the colors of a rainbow, and the Luna shouted again

"SORRY DEAREST SISTER, YOU HAVE BROKEN OUR CODE OF HONOR! YOU HAVE BECOME DISHARMONIOUS!"

A large beam of rainbow shot through whats left of the library’s roof and flew immensely high up. I soon slammed down on celestia. A loud, blood-curdling scream was barely hear over the sound of the rushing energy beam rainbow.

Luna fell to the ground. As her vision began to fade, She saw the clouds and sun in the sky slowly vanish. Before she passed out She heard a voice saying “Good job...”

Luna awoke later in a hospital bed with a doctor staring over her.

"Ah good, You're awake! you've been out for a few hours!" The doctor said cheerfully.

"Ugh... W-what happened to Celestia...?" Luna asked weakly, she knew what happened. She just found it hard to come to terms.
Maybe she survived...

"Oh... Well she- She uh, Died... If it makes you feel any better you did the right thing... What she was doing was terrible... Those poor ponies in canterlot, We have some ponies from there here due to crowding in Canterlot Hospital" The doctor said.

"Well, it h-had to be done..." Luna said and tears started to well up in her eyes.

"Yes, it did... Tragic..." The doctor said.
"so who will control the sun now?" Luna asked thinking that somehow he would know. An unknown pomy walked in, He was wearing a suit.

It must be Celestia's assistant.

"Well, Celestia wrote this to you, Luna, encase she died before her time. She gave it to all her assistants for a long time." The assistant pony handed Luna the unopened letter, the envelop was brittle and colored with age. Luna opened it and read aloud,

"Dearest Luna,

If you're reading this, I am dead. Most likely it was by your hooves. You see, this is hard work, raising the sun, lowering the Sun, raising the moon, Lowering the Moon. Keeping earth happy. I am trying to find a way to solve the happiness problem because... Well this place isn’t as peaceful as ever right now, there is actually crime! So with a heavy heart, I will begin injecting 'Artificial' happiness in the water. Of course making this involves using radiated matter to create the happiness. It's not the final product but it's a component in making it. It seems that this radiated matter drives ponies insane. I’ve had ponies working with it for about five months and they all went insane. Now, why am I writing this? Well, I’ve been around this radiation a lot and well... my mind is changing. So, before you return I will have gone insane, but be warned I can hide it well it seems. So I will pass this down from assistant to assistant until the day comes that I die by your hooves.

Luna couldn't bare it. She burst into tears.

Everypony just looked at the ground in sadness and respect. Until a little colt walked in and jumped on Luna's lap.

"Please stop crying Luna..." The little colt said. Luna looked at the colt, It was Pipsqueak. Her biggest fan.

"P-pipsqueak?" Luna muttered and the Colt looked up and smiled.

"Yup! that’s me!" Pipsqueak said. Luna couldn’t believe it. She hadn’t seen him in a while and here he is, on her lap. Beside Luna on a stand was Celestia's crown, Pipsqueak reached over grabbed it and put it on his head.

"I'll be your little Sun Prince if you stop crying..." The innocent little colt's face and his offer made Luna melt as she wrapped her hooves around the little colt tightly and whispered in his ear.
"Pip... don’t ever go...". Pipsqueak just smiled and hugged her back.

"L-Luna..." a voice whispered from outside of the room. Sitting there in a wheelchair is Twilight. She pushed her way in the room and up next to Luna.

"Luna... im glad you did what you did..." Twilight said faintly.

"T-Twilght?! How are you alive?!" Luna asked finally lessening her grip on Pipsqueak.

"Honestly, I don’t know, I only have a few broken vertebra and a small skull fracture... I may not walk again." Twilight said as she rolled to Luna's side.

Luna looked down a Pipsqueak and the crown, She levitated it off his head and onto Twilight's.

"Well, Lets hope it didn’t effect your magic" Luna said with a grin.

Twilight couldn’t speak, The thought of controlling the sun astonished her.

"T-there’s no way I can do that!" Twilight stuttered.

"Of course you can, Celestia believed in you so why shouldn’t I?" Luna said.

"T-thank you Luna! Oh my god! I-I'm considered royalty now?!" Twilight said.

"You sure are, Princess Sparkle..." Luna said looking at the overjoyed but beaten Twilight and down at Pipsqueak laying on Luna's lap.

"Goodbye Celestia, You will be missed.”
