Chapter 5: The Horde Knows

The sun hung lazily in the sky over the city of Orgrimmar. Garrosh Hellscream, Warchief of the Horde, was sitting in his throne room, listening to a scout’s report on the Alliance’s movement. The scout soon left, leaving Grommash looking for something to do. He needed entertainment; he wanted something else to listen too; he wanted to do some involving blood.

A grunt then came running up to the throne. ‘Must be another boring report.’ he thought.

“Report.” He says bluntly.

“We have gotten some very interesting Intel from a few spies we have in Stormwind City.” the grunt reports.

“And, what is this Intel?” Hellscream asks, curiosity in his voice.

“Apparently, the king’s son was kidnapped, and word around is that he was taken to an unknown land.” the grunt replies.

Hellscream frowns. “That has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.”

The grunt, still standing at attention, shakes his head. “It’s all true, Warchief. They have made a portal to the unknown world, using one of the king’s best mages.”

“Are you sure it’s not just some made-up trap?” he shouts. “I never trusted humans, grunt. I don’t care if they will even betray their own kingdom!”

“I recommend sending a rogue in then, Warchief.” the grunt says. “Have him collect the information, and report back with his findings.”

“Hmph… I will do just that.” Hellscream says with a sigh. “Send in Vilkil, and tell him I want to see him for a really important and classified mission.” he says to a guard. “And you,” he points to the grunt that brought in the report. “Are free to go.”

An Hour Later…

“… That’s all?” Vilkil asks. “Seems too easy, but I’ll do it.”

“Good. Report back to me, and we will see if the intel was true.” Hellscream says.

“Yes, Warchief.”

“Let honor guide you, Vilkil. Do not forget that Hellscream's eyes are always upon you.”

Location: Unknown

Two figures met inside a dark room; they both wore dark robes, almost blending in with the darkness. They only meet here to deliver any news there is to report. One looked like a human, the other is unknown.

“What is it?” asks one figure.

“Warchief Hellscream has sent one of the Horde’s best rogues to Stormwind City to investigate the rumors of a portal to another land, unknown to Azeroth.” the other reports.

“Good…good… everything is going according to plan.”

“Shall we execute the plan?”

“Not yet. We must wait for the time to come.”

“Understood.”

Location: Stormwind City, Stormwind Keep

Adumar, King Varian, and the ponies of Equestria stood in a room, with the doors closed behind them. They have been talking this while time, explaining the lands they were from. Twilight Sparkle was learning types of magic’s from the mage Siltin Calmortin; learning Fire, Arcane, Frost. She was also learning about other magic type classes; the shaman, warlock, priest, paladin. Rarity was admiring the robes that Siltin was wearing.

“I think it is about time to return to the portal.” Adumar says as he gets up from his seat. “I need to make up a camp, and start searching for, Prince Anduin.”

King Varian turns to him, and says. “Do you require any new supplies? I can have my guards get you anything.”

Adumar shakes his head. “No, your Majesty. So far I have just used one bullet. The creatures I have come across were not even tough. Just some wolves.”

“That is why I chose you.” King Varian says. “You may leave whenever you want.”

“I will leave now, and get a camp set up in the town I encountered.” He turns to Princess Celestia. “Will I need an escort? I might need help convincing the locals.”

Princess Celestia giggles and hands him a scroll. “Hand this to one of my guards and tell them to take you back to Ponyville, by chariot.” she smiles a motherly smile. “They will take care of the town for you. You may set up camp wherever you need to.”

Andumar took the scroll, turns to King Varian and bows. “I shall return again soon, your majesty.” And walked out of the room.

Andumar was just approaching the doors to the portal room, when he noticed something was off. The guards were out cold. He went to check for a pulse, they were alive, but was somehow knocked unconscious. He slowly went to the door, and opened it as quietly as possible, and peered inside. There was a figure inside, wearing dark red armor, and the horde insignia on it’ tabard. It was doing something to the portal, but he didn’t wait to find out.

“Hey! Back away from the portal, Horde scum!” he shouts.

The intruder turns around and throws a hidden dagger at Adumar, which he dodged quickly. Adumar draws his sword, a Grand Marshal Sword, and roars a battle cry and charges.

“RAAAAAAAAAH!”

The intruder acts quickly, and draws a sword from his side, and charges as well.

Adumar was determined to kill this horde scum, only because he knew that the horde will know about the discovery of another world and try to do everything they can to get to the world on the other side. They both inch even closer…closer…closer…CLOSER…

CLANG

Their swords met.

Their shoulders shook from recoil and they both pulled away. Adumar let him take the first move; he went for a side swing with both hands on the sword, and Adumar quickly parried it with his sword. The Horde enemy then went in for another attack but Adumar went in and used his sword against his enemy’s leg, cutting through some leather and made a small cut.

Adumar got elbowed in the face as he made his attack, which made him back away. They both took into another fighting stance, but began to talk to each other instead.

“So… The Horde knows about the world on the other side, eh?” Andumar asks.

The intruder chuckled. “Indeed we do; at least they will now. We thought it was just a trap; I see we were wrong.” He then made a slash for the warrior, but was blocked with another parry from his sword.

CLANG

They were staring right into each other’s eyes. Andumar can see the intruder’s face now. He was a blood elf, with green eyes, blonde hair; a head band was around his head. They both grunted through gritted teeth. Andumar took an advantage by using his knee to knock the blood elf off balance. He went for a blow to his chest, but the blood elf reacted quickly. Only getting a chuck of his tabard ripped off.

The blood elf took out a dagger and started to duel wield. He used his dagger to strike at Andumar’s face, which he got a slash down his right left eye. Andumar decided to return the favor, doing the same exact thing to the blood elf.

The battle was getting nowhere. The blood elf got what he wanted, so he elbowed Andumar in the face, and managed to knock the warrior down. He jumped over him, and went for the door. Andumar quickly got up, grunting in the process.

“Come back here and fight, you bastard!” he shouts, still in the process of standing.

The blood elf turns around, looks right into Andumar’s eyes. “I would love to; but I have some information to deliver to the Warchief. Tell your king I said ‘Hello’” and then he detonated a smoke bomb, filling the corridor with gray smoke.

Andumar ran through the smoke onto the other side only to find nothing. The elf was gone. The horde now knows. He sighs, turns around and picks up the chunk of the tabard with the Horde Insignia on it, and went to return to the throne room to deliver the bad news.

Princess Celestia, Luna, the Elements, King Varian, and the others were still in the same room. They were having a bonding session, if they were to find Anduin, the Equestrians can join the ranks of the Alliance; so if the Equestrians needed assistance, they could contact King Varian and the rest will be done.

*THUD*

The doors to the room burst open. They all looked over to see Anduar and everypony gasped at the sight. Andumar looked like he had a really rough fight; he had blood running down his face. He approached the table the king was sitting at.

King Varian looks him up and down and asks. “What happened to you, champion?”

Andumar takes out the chuck of the tabard he got from the blood elf and slammed it on the table.

“We have a problem.” he says.

Back at the City of Ogrimmar

Tilkil got away from the human easily. Just use a smoke bomb, get a good distance away and hearth home. He chuckled. The man knew how to fight.

He entered the Warchief’s room and approached Garrosh.

“Lok’tar, Kiltil. What have you found at the City of Stormwind?” asks Hellscream.

“Lok’tar, Warchief. Everything is true. I managed to put the spell on a scroll.” He hands the scroll to the Warchief.

Garrosh laughs and takes the scroll and observes it. 'The denizens of the land must already have sided with the Alliance filth since they got their first...'

“General!” he calls out. A orc wearing orange armor comes out.

“Yes, Warchief?”

“General, you and your best veterans will pave your way through this new land.” he commands. “Storm the lands, and paint this new world RED!”
