Just want to say thank you fluttershy20 for encouraging me to write this. It’s one of my first my little pony fanfics so be kind.
SPARKLE ME!
Our story begins.
It starts with Discord back to a statue just sitting there every day, all day.
But this day would be different the elements of harmony put him the stone.
But anything can get him out simply breaking the statue would work and that exactly is what happens.
A gardener tending the garden near the statue accidently bumped into it sending falling over breaking it.
The gardener relizeing what he did ran.
Discord who has been revived, yet again of course excited.
“I Live!” shouted discord as he hopped to his feet.
He said to nobody. "Back to phase one then and what better place to start then ponyville."
(Twilight's library, mid-day)
"Okay is everypony here?" Asked Twilight.
"Yeah, except Fluttershy, she said something about making sure animals were alright before she left" Rainbow Dash answered.
"I guess we wait for her before we get this party started!" Yelled Pinkie pie.
The mare 6 were celebrating the anniversary of discord's defeat.
"A party can I join” said someone behind pinkie
"Sure you can any pony ca- eep!" Pinkie shouted finding herself facing discord.
"Oh, pinke pie you should see your face" he said while pointing and laughing at pinkie.
"Ohahahahaha, that might be the funniest thing I’ve seen, since I was turned to stone at least."
Discord turned to the other ponies.
"Applejack how are you handling the truth, Rarity how is that diamond you found."
"Now hold on right there." Rarity tried to stop him, but discord continued anyways.
"Rainbow Dash how was cloudsdale while you were there," discord trying to hold back his laughter. "And Fluttershy how was-" discord now looking around "where is she?" He asked.
"She isn't here" twilight answered
"Oh, good here I was thinking I had to separate you all again." Discord said
"What do you mean?" Applejack asked
"I mean you saved the trouble of separating for me, I’ll be right back." Discord answered then disappeared.
"He must be going for Fluttershy's cottage; we have to get there fast." Rainbow shouted while flying out the window towards Fluttershy's cottage.
(Fluttershy's cottage)
"Now Angel are you sure you got everything?" Asked a worried Fluttershy
The bunny just nods while pointing to a clock.
"Oh, right the party thank you for reminding me."
Fluttershy walked to the door "I would've forgot about it thank you angel."
"Fluttershy wait, don’t go yet" said somebody behind her.
Fluttershy gave out an eep, jumping in the air.
"Who’s there?" She asked.
"Why Fluttershy, I’m shocked you would forget me so easy."
Discord stepped in front of Fluttershy who gave another loud eep.
"Discord!" She yelled
"You do remember me" discord said being a bit sarcastic.
"What do you want?" Fluttershy asked terrified.
"I want to change my ways." Discord lied but could Fluttershy notice it.
"Really?" She asked her voice calm now.
"Of course, I felt so bad about what I did to you and everyone," discord paused to think "but your friends won't believe me but you will right?"
"I do believe you" Fluttershy said.
"FLUTTERSHY!" Rainbow yelled almost to the door.
"Already here, what do I do?" Discord thought to himself, "I have to disable the power of harmony first but how"
Unable to think discord just touched Fluttershy forehead and decided to revert her to a filly.
Erasing all her memories back before she met rainbow and make his own special twist or two.
"Bye-bye now dear, I’ll be back for you" he said to the new filly, then he disappeared again.
Rainbow now rushing in almost knocking the door off its hinges.
"Mommy?" She heard a sweet tiny voice ask her.
Rainbow looked in front of her to see who it was that called her mommy.
Only to see a tiny yellow filly with a pink mane.
"Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked picking up the yellow filly.
"Mommy!" The filly yelled hugging Rainbow confirming her suspicions.
Rainbow just sat down with the filly still in her arms.
After a couple minutes of waiting the others finally show up.
Applejack entered first and the first thing she saw was rainbow dash holding a sleeping filly in her arms.
"What in tarnation." She muttered
"Rainbow Dash where's Fluttershy at?" Twilight asked coming in next
Rainbow Dash just gave them a quiet SHHH and pointed to the filly.
They all stood there staring at one another until Rainbow dash said something
"Let me go put Fluttershy to bed" Rainbow dash just walked to the room she believed was the bedroom. It was the quest room it would have to do; Rainbow dash put the sleeping filly down on the bed and walked out of the room.
Rainbow Dash turned the lights off and closed the door.
"Ok now we can talk" she told the others.
Twilight asked the first question "Where’s discord?"
Rainbow thought about this, she didn't look for him she was focused on Fluttershy.
"He was here, but not anymore." Rainbow dash answered hoping that was correct.
"And that filly is Fluttershy?" Asked Rarity.
"Yeah, looks that way." Rainbow dash said.
"Twilight do you think you can change her back."
Asked Rainbow dash.
"I don't know, I never saw something like this happen before." She answered
"I guess the plan is I find way to fix this while you take care of Fluttershy" she told Rainbow dash
"But I don't know how raise a filly, and I have a job to do." Complained Rainbow dash.
Applejack stepped forward "Well, if that’s all you need I could lend in a helping hoof."
"I could as well." Said Rarity
"Well okay then you'll watch Fluttershy when I’m on duty in cloudsdale." She told the eager pair.
"Mommy!" A scream was heard
Rainbow Dash shot up like a lightning bolt to Fluttershy's new room.
"Fluttershy!" She shouted.
She opened the door to reveal a crying filly on her bed.
Rainbow Dash walked over to Fluttershy and gave her a hug picking her up in the process
"Shhhhh, its okay mommys here." Fluttershy's cry turned to sobs as she tried to talk.
"I had a *sob* terrible dream *sniff* that I was back *sob* at the orphanage."
"Don’t worry its okay, you’re not there anymore."
Rainbow Dash tried to comfort the filly.
Her sobs had stopped and she hugged Rainbow dash.
"I want introduce you to some of my friends, okay." Rainbow said “They'll be taking care of you when I’m not here"
"Okay." Fluttershy said.
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy walked back to the others.
Gasps were heard when Rainbow Dash entered with Fluttershy
"Fluttershy meet Twilight Sparkle the celestia's student." Rainbow started with Twilight then went down the line.
"Hello." Fluttershy had said while hiding behind Rainbow Dash "come on Fluttershy, no need to be scared they won't bite, and if they do I won't let them hurt you."
"Ok” Fluttershy said walking in front on Rainbow Dash.
"This is Applejack she’s a farmer at sweet apple acres"
"Howdy there sugercube"Applejack said
"Hello Applejack" Fluttershy said getting used to them.
"This is Pinkie Pie the party pony" they were almost done now
Pinkie Pie giggled "Rainbow Dash we should throw a party to celebrate this."
Fluttershy seemed to like this idea "can we please?" Fluttershy begged
"Maybe tomorrow" was the answer, but was enough of an answer for them. They both squealed excited about the party.
"And last but not least Rarity she has quite the fashion sense she owns her store" Rainbow Dash finished the introductions.
"That sounds interesting" Fluttershy said.
"It IS interesting you get to make everypony beautiful."
"Well it’s getting late you be getting back to bed now." Rainbow Dash told Fluttershy
"Please I want to stay and talk" Fluttershy begged.
"You'll have plenty of time to talk that in the morning." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Fine" muttered Fluttershy as she walked to what was now her room.
"Now what are we going to do?" Asked Rainbow dash.
"I'll find a way to change her back." Twilight answered.
"I'll watch Fluttershy when you can't" Applejack answered.
"I can too" Rarity said.
"I don't know what I can do to help, but the author will figure it out." Pinkie said
"Who?" The other four asked
"I don't know" was her answer
"Ok well tomorrow I have cloud duty, so who can watch Fluttershy?"
"I can, it's Big mac's day to work tomorrow." Applejack said
"Not tomorrow, but every day after." Rarity said
"What time can you come Applejack?"
"As early as you need." Applejack said
"How about 10:30?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"That’s fine" Applejack answered.
"Rainbow when you get off duty tomorrow can you bring Fluttershy to the library?"
"Sure, But why?" Rainbow Dash asked
"To see if it’s possible to turn her back." Twilight replied
"Okay, but how about Applejack takes her to you tomorrow" Rainbow Dash suggested. "You don't mind do you Applejack?” she added.
"No I don't infact." Applejack said
"Alright that works then." Said Twilight. "See you all tomorrow." Twilight walked out.
"I’m going to get some shuteye." Applejack said as she started to walk home.
"Same here" Rarity said following suit.
"Well what about you Pinkie pie” Rainbow dash said turning to where the pony was. "Pinkie?" Pinke pie has disappeared. "She must have already left" Rainbow Dash said
To herself.
Rainbow dash decided to settle in Fluttershy's old room lying in Fluttershy's bed and let sleep take her she drifted off.
"Mommy, wake up." Fluttershy poked Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash's opened slowly she then sat up trying to rub sleep out of her eyes.
"Mommy, Applejack is here." Fluttershy said.
This gave the Rainbow Dash quite the kick start; she jumped up realizing she overslept.
She walked to greet Applejack, Fluttershy following close behind.
"Oh I’m so sorry Applejack I overslept a bit." Rainbow Dash told Applejack when she opened the door.
"It's okay." Applejack replied
"Hey there sugercube me and you are going to spend the day together." Applejack turned her attention to the filly next to Rainbow dash.
Rainbow explained to Fluttershy what was going on before she left.
"See you later Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash said before flying off leaving the two alone.
"So Applejack, do you think you could- never mind" Fluttershy began.
"Could I what?" Questioned Applejack.
"Never mind, you don' have to." Fluttershy continued.
"Fluttershy I’m here take care of you while rainbows away so if need something just ask me" Applejack reasoned with Fluttershy.
"Well, could you make me something to eat, please?"
"Why sure." Applejack said
"What would you like?" She asked the hungry filly.
"It doesn’t matter really." Fluttershy responded
"After we eat we have to go see Twilight, then we'll come back here." She explained to the filly.
"Do we have to?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes that’s what Rainbow dash told me to do while watching you today." Said Applejack.
So after Applejack made breakfast for Fluttershy,
They made their way to Twilight's library.
"Stay close now, you could get lost “Applejack warned.
"Alright." Fluttershy said.
When they did make it to the library they knocked
But no one answered.
So they walked in and could hear "Spike bring me the book on- no the other one." And "Which one do you want?"
"Hello" Applejack called.
"Is that you Applejack?" Twilight from upstairs.
"Yeah it's me, and Fluttershy." She called back.
"Come upstairs please" Twilight called down.
Applejack and Fluttershy walked upstairs to enter what once was an organized library.
Books were lying everywhere on the floor.
"Been busy lately?" Applejack asked.
"I've been busy figuring out what happened to, you know who." Twilight said looking at Fluttershy who was digging through piles of books with Spike.
"Did you find anything?" Applejack asked.
"Yes and no" Twilight paused "I found ways to cast it, but not to reverse it." She finished.
"Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes"
"Can I read this book?" Fluttershy held up a book entitled, Last of the Dragonlords.
"Sure, go ahead" was Twilights simple answer.
After an hour of reading her book.
"Fluttershy, could you come here for a second."
Fluttershy set a bookmark inside the book, and then set it down to go see Twilight.
"Yes Twilight?" She asked.
"Stand still for a second." Twilight said.
She put her glowing horn onto Fluttershy's forehead.
"What are you doing?" Asked a slightly frightened Fluttershy.
"I’m looking to see if you’re healthy." This was half true.
"Okay can I get back to my book now?" Asked Fluttershy when Twilight finished.
"Sure, but aren’t you hungry?" Twilight asked.
"Just a little." Flutrershy said.
"Do you want something to eat?" Questioned Twilight
"Sure" said Fluttershy.
Fluttershy looked around and noticed Applejack wasn't here.
"Where’s Applejack?" Asked Fluttershy.
"She said, she would be right back." Twilight answered walking out of the room.
Fluttershy got back to the book she was reading.
(Later that day)
Rainbow dash had just got off duty it was around
2:24.
She had to stop and pick Fluttershy up first.
She flew towards Twilight's library and arrived in a couple of seconds. Luckily she didn't crash this time.
She knocked on the door.
Applejack opened the door, "howdy there Rainbow, come to pick up Fluttershy."
"Yeah." Rainbow dash replied..
"Fluttershy, Twilight, Rainbow Dash is here."
Fluttershy almost ran down the stairs and gave Rainbow a hug.
Twilight walked down with a worried look on her face.
"Twilight what did you find out?" Rainbow Dash asked breaking the hug with Fluttershy.
"I’m going to need more time." Was Twilight simple response.
"Do you need Fluttershy to come over again?"
"No, I’ll tell you when I make more progress."
"Okay then I and Fluttershy will be leaving
Then." Said Rainbow Dash started walking home
Fluttershy following.
"Well it's about time I leave too “Applejack said.
"Actually Applejack I need to tell you something secret." Twilight said.
"Okay then." Applejack said stopping.
(Back with Fluttershy and Rainbow ourse I’ll teach you!" Said an excited Rainbow Dash.
(Whatever happened to Pinkie Pie? Well back to Twilight and Applejack.)
"Wait; let me get this straight, you can't change Fluttershy back."
"You can't!" yelled Pinkie pie jumping out of her hiding spot.
The two ponies screamed.
After an awkward minute or two Twilight broke the silence "Applejack I can't but Discord can and Pinkie pie what are you doing hiding."
"I thought to myself why would Discord do this to Fluttershy and just leave, so I have been trying to find him." Explained Pinkie pie.
"That’s a good plan Pinkie pie, But how are you supposed to find him if you're hiding." said Applejack.
"And Twilight why can Discord change Fluttershy back but not you?" Applejack asked Twilight
"Because he was the one who turned Fluttershy into a filly first, if he could do that he can turn her back also I want you two to Pinkie promise that you won't tell Rainbow Dash or anyone." Twilight said.
"Cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye." The two ponies promised.
"Good" Twilight commented.
(At some secret spot in ponyville)
Discord sit by himself thinking about his next move.
"Hmm, I could no I did that already."
"How about no they would see that coming."
"Oh, that’s good they would never see that coming, I'll do that tomorrow." An Idea finally coming to him.
