Illusions of Happiness

The land of Ponyville before Twilight Sparkle was a normal one. Normal, of course, was to say that there was much less danger and a lack of magical abilities, as well as the addition of a dragon. The mane five, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and, of course Pinkie Pie, all resided there. The landscape was all the same as it was to be after her arrival, but her absence wasn't to anypony's concern as of yet.

Neigh (zing!), I won't let this story be dictated by Twilight's affect. It's not for the telling. Not yet. If you would, allow me to start anew.

Rain, the stuff of Pegasus causation, poured all over the small town. At around 12 AM, it rained- harder- somehow. The actual rain didn't fall any harder, nor did it faster or stronger
