My Little Pony...My Little Pony....Aaaahh

The pink artistic hot air balloon lowers into the fluffy white clouds, revealing a rainbow-maned pegasus, swooping down, doing a loop-de-loop before the balloon lowered onto the ground. A train with steam smoking out if the exhaust rumbles by, whilst a purple coated unicorn jumps out of the balloon with a small dragon climbing o--.

The 22 inch LCD screen briefly freezes before fullscreening a eye-stabbing blue screen. The person in the rubbery leather chair, a 14 year old boy with jet black hair frowns before slapping against the metal computer tower which causes the screen to go blank.

The boy sighs, grabs a nearby Xbox controller and stumbles into the grey carpeted family room where he usually spends his days when bored. The Xbox, with a bleep, boots it's system before coming to a halt in a silver menu with selections. The boy ponders about which one he should pick. With a click, the Sony television goes black before revealing a logo with the white words Far Cry 3.

"I wish I could go to Equestria myself," The boy says. "Then I wouldn't have to live on this wretched Earth."

He picks load game and the words flash on the screen, almost unintelligible. Eventually it loads, and he spawns in a jungle with green dense vegetation almost filling the screen. He points the character in the direction of a sparkling, sky blue ocean.

"I wonder if I will ever meet the Mane 6. I wonder what Rainbow Dash does when she's not napping, racing and reading."

He thinks about this for a minute, a shark biting his in-game character jolts him out of his imagination and he bashes the A

button. Another thought pushed itself in his way, and he paused the game.

"My life," He whispers. "It means almost nothing. I can't find a reason to go on-

His gaze turns to one of his plastic posters falling to the ground. With some speed he catches it and turns it over.

There were the mane six. Smiling without a care in the world. He silently cries, the tears welling up in his eyes.

A single tear falls from his left eye, following along a single hair of his eyelash before dropping onto of the poster. He hugs it.

"I'll meet you one day."

...YEAR 2035...

He sits in a glass chair now, flipping between the pages of a script he is soon about to use. A automated beep informs him and he stands with pride, eyes forward, back straight as a stick. He reaches out to the door, brushing against the metal work. A holographic display beams up and asks if he wants to open the door. He hesitates, knowing after he walks through the frame, he will change the world and the dream he had envisioned for so long is finally complete.

After walking down the cool luxurious hallway, there is a red silk curtain, with a white android with a blue eye. It nods as humanly as possible before saying: "Welcome to the stage Dr. Jackson" almost human but still synthetic.

The sound of chattering loud people fills his ears and he smiles. He does a last minute check of his hair, slicked back and he straightens his tie. It was time.

The scientist pushes the curtains aside, the bright, almost pure white lights shines in his eyes. He squints, adjusting to the brightness. Almost all around him were fans of his work, disbelievers and other bronies, Aged but still the same. He steps upwards, a matte plastic microphone slipped in his hand by a running stage crew member. A red and black hovering news camera floats to the stage, adjusting the lens before lighting up it's recording LED light. Thomas clears his throat and the talking stops almost instantly.

"Hello there everyone! Or shall I say everypony? My name is Thomas Jackson. Founder of Unreal Inc. and proud brony. Today, I will be showing you one of the most ingenious devices ever to be created by our laboratory." He motions towards the invention on his right, covered with a grey blanket. "But first, I must tell you a bit of a story..."

Thomas breathes in, taking the air-conditioned atmosphere into his lungs.

"When I was about 6, my mother died of cancer. My father was an abusive one, he thew pretty much anything at me, and hit me with more. I was also suicidal. I thought of ways to end my life painlessly. But on the day I was about to kill myself, something found itself onto my Google Chrome. It was My Little Pony. As I watched more and more, I realized I didn't need to die. I had something to live for at least."

He pauses for an effect, Stunning the audience.

"But it wasn't enough. Would I die when it finished? Would everything I watched, every Sonic Rainboom, every tree AJ kicked, would that all mean nothing?"

Thomas looks up, cheerful as ever.

"Of course not, I would tell myself. There's something else, my mind told me." He says, building up in excitement. "And I said; Hey, wouldn't it be cool if I met the Mane Six? Wouldn't it be cool to meet Dash?"

He reaches into his suit pocket. Inside, is a black remote with different sizes and colors. He presses the big red one and points it at the blanketed device.

"So I dedicated my life to create THE PORTAL TO EQUESTRIA!

The audience with so much anticipation, stood up and cheers.

The blanket falls loose.

A silver arched industrial metal pipe stands. Every few inches were a tiny node that glows dark blue. The words painted black on the pipe: Unreal INC, shines and glistens throughout the enormous room from the spotlights. As if on cue, a panel, adjacent to the portal, lights up with a touchscreen display. Thomas walks over and with a single motion, taps and rises his arms in a victory stance as the nodes start-up up and shoot towards the middle of the arched pipe. It fuses together and morphs like raging clouds before enlarging to take much of the room in the portal. The violet-blue portal steadies and stands still with the slow hum of the machine as watts pump through a hidden wire under the stage.

The audience sits down and their eyes let upon a feast.

Thomas returns his hands to the panel, selecting options before facing the audience.

"This is the only gateway in and out from Equestria. In here, anything you do will effect the show, animation, and how the writers write the show. Any episode already made and shown to the public already happened. In this case, you cannot change "Lesson Zero". He spoke with enthusiasm, the voice amplified by the speakers and thrown around the enormous room.

"Note that, this is The REAL Equestria. It's not a simulation, anything you do will upset the balance and will result in tragedy. However, anything written by the writers of My Little Pony will happen here. If you show up during an episode, you will appear on television...It's actually very peculiar."

The auditorium bursts into uproar, a thousand questions shot at the stage before it all completely stops.

"I know you're very curious. So after the presentation, we will have a draw. The Winner will win one day in Equestria. Just don't do anything stupid. If the CIA call me again, they will cut my head off." He makes a cutting motion at his throat. "Actually, behind the stage are two gentlemen who claim they will lock me away far and they are the typical setup; suits, sunglasses and wires in their ears."

In the audience's perspective, they didn't see a head pop from the stage curtain. It's face frowns before the curtain draws back.

Thomas pays no attention to this, however he knows he might have put himself in jeopardy.

"Before I end the presentation, a very special guest is here...And she's coming through the portal now."

The portal shoots a bolt of electricity in the air before a white hoof complete with shiny golden bottom steps through the portal followed by three others. A long snow-white horn heads through while accompanied by a flowing quad-triple colored mane made of ocean blue, bright green, and lavender purple. A blast of crimson energy indicates the transition is complete.

What stands in front of them looked like Princess Celestia, the Sun-Goddess. But the face was all wrong, twisting and contorting maniacal ways. She laughs a wicked laugh, a truly pure evil sound.

"Greetings Humans," She announces insanely, "TIME TO DIE!"
