Home

What is a home really? Is it just the place that you live at or is it the ones that are around you? Is it possible for your home to be taken from you as if it was nothing? I guess the world may never really know what a home truly is.

“Spike are you ready to go?” My Cousin Twilight Sparkle says to me. But I’m not ready to leave just yet. Please just one more day, it’s all that I need.

“Yeah, I guess Twi.” I say back, turning around I finally see how my cousin has changed since the last time I saw her. Still the dark sapphire hair with a streak of violet and brilliant rose. A simple purple Hoodie that says Canterlot University on it, also known as her biggest achievement.

Myself on the other hand well, I’m that guy with piercings, dark clothing, and spikey green hair. Main reason of why I’m single right there. The reason why I’m leaving my home in beautiful east-side Manehatten is because well, my parents died in a car crash. It hasn't really been easy letting go, but I’m getting there just slowly. Looking out my window I can already see all of my friends. Each of them having a different look on their faces. You know those times when you have friends who just act like they like you? This is one of the times when you can tell whose really your friend.

Almost all of them have a sad look on their faces. Almost all. Of course now the one who was sleeping with my girlfriend has a smug look on his face. When I learned that did I say anything to him? No, it would have ended with my fist in his face. But we did ‘conveniently’ break up not to long after. Oh the joys of high school life, am I right?

Gathering my bags we start to head to her lavender car, looking over to my right the crowd that was there was starting to disperse. Opening the trunk I put in all of my belongings that I can fit, only finding that some things need to go in the back. With a sigh, I put the rest of my belongings in the back of her car and take a look around.

This place, no matter how run down or bad it looks. I’m going to really miss it. The tears that have shed, the blood that has been spilled. All of it, from the spray painted walls to the gangs that reside here. I’ll never forget any of it. I never really want to.
