Heart in Chaos

The Stray and the Goddess of Chaos

Previous Chapter

Luna was lying on the ground, crying. She had just murdered ten innocents, but just because Celestia had destroyed their thinking capabilities. Killing them would at least let their souls roam free in the Elysian Fields.

"I had no other choice..." she whispered to herself. She repeated those words like a healing mantra but her eyes couldn’t be able to shed more tears; for those unlucky ponies, and for her...
Luna saw all of her beloved Twilight’s memories into her mind, excruciatingly clear; the ones of the time they passed together were literally burning in the mind of the princess. Right then, a flashback started into Luna’s mind. It was clear, like it was happening just before her eyes. Just too clear.

***

The princess and the unicorn were at the second floor of the library. Luna had her forehoof and a wing leaning over Twilight’s back. It was 3 am; they were staring at the starry night. Both of them were looking up at the celestial bodies, shining here and there.

“Hey, Luna?”

“Yes, darling?”

“Do you see this sky?”

“Yes, why do you ask me? Oh, I know! You want to ask me if I care more about crafting the night than passing it with you...” Luna said, smirking.

“Err-.” Twilight mumbled, before receiving a short kiss from the alicorn.

Their lips met quickly, they both moaned a little before splitting their mouths apart.

“No Twilight. For me you are more precious than anypony else living now.

***

Luna gritted her teeth and raised her head, her muzzle pointing to the sky. She uttered an extremely powerful and high-pitched scream of pain, powerful enough to be heard by everypony in a four hundred meter radius. She felt her pain bursting her very head from within as she yelled her most concentrated, angry and insulting threat to Celestia.

“THOU DESTROYED THE DEAREST THING WE HAST, CELESTIA!! WE WILL KILL THOU WITH OUR VERY OWN HOOVES!!”

All the ponies hearing the screams gulped deeply. Even if they already knew their princess wasn’t somepony to screw with, that was now undeniably sure. But somepony was hiding herself, looking at how much the princess was suffering. She wanted to reveal herself, and the secret hidden with her, but for fear-or guilt, she didn’t want to talk about it. She just took back the body of the exhausted Goddess to the doors of the town, leaving her to the affection of her subjects.

***

Meanwhile in Canterlot, a pony ran into the throne room, bowing to the alicorn standing there.
He bowed to her and said, panting from the long run, “Prin-Queen Celestia! Emergency!”

“What is it, now?”

“Our comrades were slaughtered by Luna, the traitor!”

“Look how much we care...” replied Celestia, without any sign of concern.

“What? Our brothers were killed and your majesty doesn’t care?”

“Why should we? Look, all a Queen could wish is within our grasp. Golden, fashionable and royal; an entire nation ready to bow to Us as We command, and even some stallions and mares who sometimes come to Us, begging to be fucked. We couldn’t care less of Luna having fun with your brothers.”

“You... you’re so mean! You’re a tyrant!”

“Guess what... We absolutely do not care. But we find your insult must be punished. You called us Tyrant and we don’t like the term.”

Celestia walked through the room, drawing herself near the pony daring to call her a tyrant. He was a Pegasus, with a red mane, green coat and maroon eyes. He was trying to stare directly at the Queen, but she could see through his facade, looking in ecstasy at that little fearing foal.
Easy to submit... or rape like there’s no tomorrow. She moved her left forehoof forward and ordered to the guard to kiss it. He did, his lips shaking while touching the golden horseshoes of the alabaster alicorn.

“You’re shaking too much. Leave our presence.” Celestia said, with a disappointed tone.

“Phew, at least she didn’t kill me.” the guard whispered.

“Not this time. But if you try that again, you may not be so lucky.” said the white pony, a hint of anger in her voice.

“Geez!” said the guard, running away from the throne room, aware that Celestia was way different from the caring and gentle princess he knew when he entered the royal guards.

“I wonder if I can find something interesting to do today.” whispered the princess, bored.

“Talking with me maybe?”

“Who are you? And how did you trespass our guards?”

“Oh come on Celly! You really forgot me?”

Celestia felt a shiver running through her spine. The little Pegasus in front of her had materialized from nowhere, yet the white alicorn knew too well who was talking to her, judging from the nonchalance he was addressing her with. She was brown-coated from the head to the middle stomach and white from the underbelly to the tail. She had a silver mane and left some foggy trail when she walked.

“Death... How courteous of you to pay a visit... Who are you going to ‘cut’ this time?” asked Celestia, not hiding her dislike for the eerily smiling Pegasus.

“Ahah, I know you don’t like me, Avatar of the Sun”.

“Be warned, even if another Avatar of Death will be born an instant after I kill you, I’d surely have fun destroying that body of yours. In every way possible.” replied Celestia, lighting her horn, ready to fight with Death.

“Chill down, alicorn. This time I’m not here to fulfill my boooring duties. I’m here to warn you that your behavior isn’t all that right...”

“Whatever. I’m immortal anyway; Tartarus will never see me at its bottom.”

“You so sure, Celly?”

“Death, where are you going with this?”

“Another Avatar of the Sun would be born, soon after your departure, dear...”

“Don’t call me dear! I already knew that, anyway. So?”

“Sit. I’ve got a long talk to do.”

“Fine!” the queen snapped, but regaining control she mischievously hissed, “You know, that white flank of yours is pretty cute...”

“Yeah, ponies would die just to have a look.”

***Ponyville, some days later***

“Dashie, is she going to wake up or what?” asked Pinkie, hugging Rainbow Dash tightly.

“She was awake from her nightmare when we found her. She’s a strong and beautiful mare, I’m sure she’ll wake up, no matter what."

“Look, she’s opening her eyes...” whispered Pinkie, with a smile.

“Princess!” exclaimed the Pegasus, jumping on the bed on the princess’s neck.

“I had another night... mare. Oh my... extreme headache incoming, some kind of aspirin please?”

“You fought... I mean, you had a long nightmare, that’s normal. Pinkie, get some medicine from the lower floor, if you could.”

“Yes ma’am!” answered the pink pony, bouncing away to get somewhere in Sugarcube Corner.

“Now! We’re alone, it’s time, and I should kiss the princess... but... is it right? Dash, control yourself, for ponies sake.

“Princess, I have to tell you some important things...” said Dash, blushing.

“Maybe another time, my dearest friend.” As she spoke, the Pegasus recoiled in fear. Friend... That was a word seldom leaving the princess’ mouth, and this time it was addressed to her. Rainbow’s heart started to beat heavily, yet slowly. Her blood rose in heat, she was closing her eyes tightly, feeling more aroused every second.

“Is something wrong, Rainbow Dash?” politely asked the princess to the aroused Pegasus.

She instantly shot her eyes wide open and answered, “Nothing! Nothing at all. I’m perfectly fine!”

“Do you remember the other day, when you touched my horn?”

Dash blushed intensely as she felt her heart stopping that very moment.

“Y-Yes! I do!”

“Would you like to do that again? It has some kind of healing effect on me. I can’t explain how but it works, so... would you?”

“I surely would like to have sex with you!” thought Dash, not having the courage to say it, simply answering, “It would be an honor to massage your horn, my princess.”

Rainbow brought herself near the princess’s muzzle and delicately laid her hooves on the princess’ horn. Luna felt the delicate and loving sensation Dash was feeding her through her hooves’ work. The princess could definitely recall it, it was the same sensation she felt when she did it...

***

“Oh Luna! I like it when you... you touch my horn, but I would love to return the favor.”

The princess felt highly aroused and happy to hear that from her Twilight. The tone nearly begging, the blushing, and her eyes... her deep purple eyes, they were staring just at her when she pleasantly teased the princess. Full of love and desire to lay with her...

***

“Just as these brave magenta eyes...”

“R-Rainbow …”

“Yeah, I know. A few more seconds and I have to stand back, riiiight... now!” she exclaimed when swifting down, hugging the princess’s belly as she yelled out of pleasure and shot another black lightning bolt.

“But why do I shoot pure darkness when I come with my horn... I normally drop some sort of spectacular blue magic cascade.”

“It’s because you need me!”

That voice from some years ago was already revealing herself again. It was very mischievous, yet it seemed... noble.

“Just who are you?” she thought, hoping for a response.

“When you feel primal sensations like carnal pleasure or rage I gain strength... but when you use that fucking tiara’s powers I am forced to see you having fun, without having the possibility to move freely.”

“I felt something was ‘within’ me. But was it you? My subconscious? Twilight Sparkle? Another goddess?”

“You will soon discover the darkness you hate so much is something you’ll need to accept and use. I hate Celestia as much as you do...” said the voice, with a serious tone.

“I wonder who the hay are you-”

“Princess Luna? You still there?” said Rainbow Dash, tapping the immobile princess.

“Um... y-yes.” she exclaimed, shooting her eyes at the cyan mare and, shaking her head, said gently, “Thank you for your... um... healing service.”

“Princess... I need to confess something to you, it’s really important.”

“You liked it... yeah, yeah, I know, but now I have a duty to fulfill, for Ponyville’s sake as well for all of my subjects. Please, leave my presence, Rainbow.” said the princess, pointing her hoof out of the room.

“Okay...” replied the disappointed Pegasus.

“Holy buck, Dash! You can do it. She asks you to pleasure her, or how she calls it, ‘heal’ her and you do not have the courage to say her about...”

“Hey Dashie!” said a pony, bouncing right onto the Pegasus.

“Hey... Pinkie...” she replied.

“Is something wrong?” asked innocently the pink mare.

“Um... we’re friends, aren’t we?”

“Nope! Super friends!” she replied happily.

“I must talk you about something important. I think I’m starting to like somepony else...”

“Oh...”

That monosyllable expressed the whole point, sadness suddenly overwhelming happiness in Pinkie Pie’s heart. All she could think was the word “somepony” else. Who could be this other being? And why Dashie was hurting her? She fell on her knees and started to cry, deeply and silently.

“Dashie...” she sobbed.

“I’m really sorry, Pinkie. But our relationship needs to stop, at least for a few...”

The earth suddenly shook, causing the mares to tremble and fall on Sugarcube Corner’s floor.

“Hey look at your neck!” Rainbow exclaimed, looking at the golden necklace just appearing on the crying pony. It had a balloon-shaped sapphire: they both recognized it as one of the Elements.

“Why is this thing on my neck? And why yours too?”

Dash noticed that a lightning shaped ruby encased in a gold necklace, the Element of Loyalty, had appeared on hers too. All of a sudden, it started shining brightly; like the times they used it, the gems emitted balloon and lightning-shaped beams. But as soon as they recognized what happened, they heard a voice that they both knew too well.

“OUR DEAR SUBJECTS! THINE PRINCESS HAST BROUGHT HERE THE SUPREME WARRIOR, TO HELP US TO PROTECT YOU, AND NOW WE WILL TEST HIS STRENGTH!
BEHOLD THE JUDGE MAGISTER, GABRANTH!”

“The... The legendary warrior who travelled to Tartarus to slain the god of Destruction as told in Equestria’s ancient legends? HE IS HERE?!

*** A few minutes before***

Luna was thinking about it from a bit already and decided to bring here the Stray warrior.

“Twi once told me a legend named ‘Dissidia, The war of Gods’.

Thirty warriors fought for Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony and Chaos, the God of Disharmony. Between those brave and mighty, ‘humans’ were some interesting beings, like the Woman who could summon beings called Aeons to fight for her, the one who was morphed to a being fifteen times bigger than an Ursa Major, another one was able to jump mountains, and three who became gods themselves. One caught my attention, as she said:

“Between them was a warrior. He was clad in fiery grey armor, he resisted a deadly burst of magic and the assault of a demigod by himself. He fought under the name of Justice in his original world, and in the world of gods was renowned as the strongest Warrior in existence, able to withstand Chaos and kill him in the first Cycle of the battle.”

“He was strong, my dear!” I exclaimed that time.

“Oh yes, he was. Equestria would have really been in danger if he was brought here to do evil. But bringing him here for good with that ancient Ultradimensional teleporting spell would be pretty useful,” she nodded.

"Ultra-what? He can be brought here?” I asked her.

“Yes, and the spell is...”

***

Ultradimensional Teleporting. To bring something from another dimension or even from a few centimeters before you”.

It was extremely powerful and body-tearing for the user, even if he or she was an Avatar, like Celestia or Luna, but it would add a powerful ally or weapon to its caster. The spell would work only if the user knew what they would bring to Equestria.

“Well, she told me that I would need to focus on the aspect of the thing I wanted to teleport. Twilight described him like she knew directly how he was made. I shall bring Gabranth here and brawl with him for a few minutes, just to test his strength.” said Luna, preparing herself with the Tiara of Magic and her armor.

“Well, I guess it’s time...”

The princess teleported to Ponyville’s central plaza and used Twilight’s horn to bring herself beyond her godhood. She spread her wings open and lifted herself in the air, ready to cast the spell. She lit up her horn; a cascade of magic began to drop from its tip.

The spell was working: a fissure in the fabric of space became visible, and after some seconds it became a blue portal. From the center, an anthracite grey horn started to appear. A hoof, then another; a pony exited from the portal, revealing himself to the little crowd that formed around the Goddess and the unknown pony.

“I made it! He’s here...” thought the navy blue alicorn, looking at the extra-Equestrian being down to her.

***

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash ran to Ponyville’s central plaza, where they heard the voice of the princess coming from. She was in midair, sparkling with a crimson aura; her eyes had red irides with a slitted pupil.

“Dashie, what happened to her? She’s so different! I’m so scared!” said Pinkie, tightly hugging the mare that minutes before broke her heart to pieces.

“Well, I dunno... but she’s doing this for us, I think. Let’s just wait.” replied the Pegasus, a bit worried too. They both looked at the ponies, as all the crowd did.

“You... Gabranth! Be happy to be here. You’ll fight by my side from now on; to protect me and my subjects, you will help me kill my sister!” solemnly boomed Luna, directly to the unicorn.

“My usual luck... called back from Tartarus to fight for another God of Chaos... At least this time it’s some pretty chick.” thought Gabranth, before raising his head and booming in response “I’m not here to fight, or to help you to kill your sister, Goddess of Chaos!”

“Chaos? I am justice! I fight to avenge my lover and protect my subjects from the monster I once called sister. Do you refuse my offer? I can kill you in an instant, if you haven’t noticed.”

“You?” Gabranth exploded in a composed laugh, before replying to the Goddess, “I’m far stronger than you, winged unicorn!”

“Alicorn. I’m a royal Alicorn and my name’s Luna. I’m the goddess of the Night, Darkness and the Moon. There is already a god of Chaos...”

“So, are you willing to fight me?” asked the judge, upset for the unexpected call to battle.

“Behold! I am far stronger than I seem to be!”

“Very well, I’m still the Judge Magister, after all...” said Gabranth, while orange magic made his double blades raise from his back.

“As Tartarus’s watchdog, I shall judge whether or not your call is worth fulfilling!”

The crowd gasped at the completely open declaration of that pony from Luna knows where. Dash and Pinkie stared at him intensely. He was clad in an elegant gray armor, with flower-like carvings. He wore a horned helm and in front of his horn that spiked out of it there was a little protection. His battle stance was fiery enough too: a small sword in midair, near his muzzle and pointing left, while the bigger one was being lifted a bit over his head, with the tip pointing at his left as well.

“So, the strongest warrior versus the berserk goddess... I wanna see this!” said Rainbow Dash, thrilled.

“I wonder if she can do it...” said Pinkie in response.

“She obviously can. She’s my goddess!” yelled the cyan mare, blushing a little while saying this in front of Pinkie.

Luna set herself on the ground, staring at the judge. His cutie mark was an unknown blason-like red drawing, but what caught her attention more was his unwavering courage. He was ready to battle, brave and uncaring of the fact that a goddess herself was standing in front of him.

“Just the right choice to help me face Celestia, Discord or who knows what will hit Me.” thought the blue alicorn.

“Three...Two...One...” whispered the alicorn.

No one moved for a few seconds.

“Ladies first. I slain gods but I’m still a knight. I have a little honor left to protect. Goddess Luna, after you” he said politely, hinting Luna to attack him first.

She didn’t lose even a second in thinking as she lunged forward with her horn pointing right on Gabranth’s muzzle, who avoided the assault of the goddess with a graceful jump. Shiomaneki and Highway Star were the names of the blades the unicorn was lifting with his magic, and with a spin he swung them on Luna’s back, paying attention to hit the covered part. The hit reverberated everywhere; Luna felt its vibration trough her spine. The hit was meant to stun her, heavily, as the grey pony wanted just to show his superiority. But the mare was stubborn and wanted to push Gabranth to his limits, to see if he really was powerful as told in the legends.

“Good hit, Gabranth!” said the princess, smirking to the unicorn still in mid-air.

“I want to show you that I am stronger! Prepare yourself!” said the grey pony, landing.

He moved his blades in a vicious pattern, trying to hit the Goddess when she could use distance to avoid them, slowly reducing the gap between them. Luna barely avoided the last hit out of a long chain, with the scorching magic around the blade burning her left leg’s coat. She lit up her horn and charged for few seconds, hitting him with vicious bucks to gain time and distance.

“A few seconds more and I shall incinerate you, fallen knight...” thought the princess, before shooting a hot beam of magic. Fire and light-shaped magic, to be exact.

“Celestia may be a bastard but she taught me how to use light magic. At least she has done something good once in her multi-millennial life.”

Luna was smirking; feeling the pure beam of energy hit the knight. This was half true, though; he protected himself by absorbing the whole mass of energy into his blades. He clashed them against one another and shoved the edges. By the time the blades waved near him, Gabranth lit up his horn with all his might, creating a rune circle on the cobble floor. From the center, orange flames exploded here and there, giving Luna just enough time to protect the crowd, but not herself. She was heavily burned on her right cutie-mark: the skin was reduced to black sheds, where it was still hanging. Out of rage, Luna didn’t acknowledge the Tiara of Magic wasn’t on her head anymore, and used her magic anyway. She shot many lightning bolts, black as a new moon night; and she stomped her hooves on the floor, cracking it and causing pure darkness to emit from the deep gaps. Gabranth was hovering in the air, lifted by the shots and Luna viciously went after him. She positioned herself and, by the time the knight was falling, she bucked upward with all her power, causing the unicorn’s helmet to fly away.

“I’ll kill you, here and now!” she yelled, every bit of self-control vanished.

Yes, Luna! Kill ‘im!” a voice echoed into the goddess’ horn and suffering mind.

“Princess, there’s no need to kill him. He’s on the floor, and he passed out. You won, and that’s enough!”

The voice hit the princess, passing through her rage. It was like it was talking directly to her soul, and looking at the source she found that was no other than Rainbow Dash, yelling at her to have pity of the now defeated warrior.

“Yeah... you’re right, Rainbow.” whispered the princess, blinking her eyes, letting her usual tears fall freely. After she used the Tiara channeling her hatred for Celestia, she always relieved Twilight’s memories; they were scarring Luna’s mind deeply and by some degree even her sanity.

“You didn’t kill him. You’re really spineless after all!” a mare voice echoed into Luna’s mind.

“I’m not spineless... I’ve got an ally, limitless power and the drive to kill my sister. I don’t need blood to be spilled in my name.”

“If you say so...”

***

Luna, Gabranth and Rainbow Dash, among other ponies, were dining in Sugarcube Corner.

“Princess! That was awesome!”

“Thank you Dash. I never fought somepony so stubborn and strong.”

“Milady, you’re strong too. That display of magic and physical might was superb on its own, I never thought a Goddess could fight so well.” said the unicorn.

“You slew Chaos, you could expect no less from me. Anyway, would you mind telling me a little about your life, my champion?”

“When I lived in my world, I was one of five high commanders of the imperial army. I thought I was fighting for justice, until I saw that my emperor was a traitor of not only the human kind, but even of the Occurias, the gods of Ivalice. I saw my brother having his honor held high even in his disgrace; I hated my only sibling. I have lived, fought and transcended death trailed only by hatred and hopelessness. My Goddess, surrender to despair and you will be no more than a pathetic dog. Never cast away hope, because in the darkest moments, it’s all we can grasp onto.”

“That was deep!” said the cyan mare.

“Indeed.” nodded Luna. “I guess I should tell you my story, then.”

“Yeah, tell him how overwhelming Tia’s victory was.” a voice hissed in Luna’s mind.

“Shut up!” she yelled.

“Luna? Are you okay?” asked the Pegasus.

“I’ll take over your body! I’m finally BACK!” yelled the voice, in a crescendo of evil happiness.
“Nightmare Moon is now reformed and ready to take down this spineless princess and regain my place as the Ruler of Equestria!” said Nightmare Moon through Luna’s body.

“Demon...” hissed Rainbow, feeling fear taking control over her.

“I may be a demon but you should thank me if Celestia hasn’t killed us. We barely survived, and only because I lent you darkness. Who do you think had the idea to call Gabranth here? You? Pfft... ahahah, it was me! It was ME who made you think that was a good idea! I made you beat him using darkness, the same darkness you hate. I wanted you to show to your subjects that you deserve to be the Goddess of the Night and their ruler, and that you could kill that stray or rape that rainbow maned filly. You owe me your body!” said the Dark alicorn into Luna’s mind, laughing sadistically while revealing her she was, in fact, the only one who never abandoned her.

“Stop...STOP!” yelled the princess, before teleporting out of Ponyville.

Luna was thinking in the center of the Everfree forest, a place ponies never wanted to visit, fearing who knows what dangers. She sat down and started to concentrate. Her consciousness met with Nightmare Moon’s somehow, and they started to argue.

“You demon! I should’ve chained myself onto a wall in a deep underground cave and let lust consume you forever, when I first heard your voice! But I didn’t recognize you and let you reform without even acknowledging it.”

“I think I should show you this...” said the black alicorn, lighting her horn. She slowly let her horn meet Luna’s and a little spark appeared as the princess recoiled back in shock.

“I sealed this memory from you, as I needed a proof to make you think about using your true powers. Do you see how much that alabaster whore beat you?”

Luna didn’t answer. She was looking at her memories that were unfolding like a horror movie. The only difference was that it happened for real.

“I... Celestia did this to me? And I didn’t have any power to contrast hers even with the most powerful magical artifact in existence?” the rightful Goddess nodded, nearly starting to cry. Celestia was known to be cruel, but she didn’t have any mercy even on her own sister.

“I said you didn’t have any chance on your own. Let’s become one and let darkness consume everything that’s hurting you...”

Just for a moment, Luna thought seriously about embracing Nightmare and letting her take over her body. She would be eradicated from her own body, but her pain would be finally over. And Celestia would be dead, eventually, even ensuring her revenge. Somepony stopped her, though, right in the moment when the princess was going to delete her own self.

“Princess! Finally! I’ve found you!” exclaimed Rainbow Dash.

The princess didn’t answer; she was merging herself with the worst monster in Equestria’s recorded history. Dash saw her princess’ coat slowly becoming darker, and her eyes were becoming like the ones of a reptile.

“It’s now or never!” said Dash while embracing her princess and letting their lips merge. The Pegasus’s tongue delicately massaged the inner walls of Luna’s mouth, savoring the alicorn’s saliva while leaving her own.

“I feel warm inside...” said the princess, still trapped into her mind.

“This light! This is love. It burns... aaah, damn filly!” yelled Nightmare Moon, covering her eyes with one of her jet-black wings.

Luna returned fully conscious some seconds after, in time to feel the moans of the Pegasus that was happily enjoying the stolen kiss. The same stolen kiss that saved her, an instrument made of pure love.

When Rainbow Dash moved herself from the princess, she saw the alicorn deeply blushing and smiling at her.

“Princess... I saw you becoming Nightmare Moon and... I-I’m sorry...”

“You saved me. Don’t be sorry because of your feelings towards me, you saved me.” kindly whispered the princess, with a maternal tone.

“I was thinking of saying this to you from quite some time, from the same moment I saw you becoming the vicious beast that murdered these guards. I saw everything, all your tears for Twilight going down from your eyes, as you were living all your memories with her... and her suicide.” said Rainbow Dash, slowly falling into tears.

“How do you know that, Rainbow?” boomed the princess, trying to hide some kind of shame, being seen by her only living lover as she murdered ten innocents.

“I was the last pony who saw Twilight Sparkle alive, on the night she ended her life with her hooves out of desperation!” yelled the Pegasus, staring on the ground in sadness and avoiding eye contact with the mare she had a crush on.
