Across the dark wasteland and the radio active terrain lies nothing but war...and death, in 2065 war had broken out between Equestria and Zahariss, Equestria armed with it's peace and benevolent leaders and Zahariss armed with it's desert terrain and deadly war machines but there had never been any quarry between these two countries before until one day that would open a new, dark chapter in pony history. The city of ghosts is one of the few refuges in all of Zahariss with the Desert palace ruling over it but not for long, civil war is braking out in Zahariss, the ponies wanted refuge and harmony just like Equestria and believe all countries should suffer the same fate and burn in the flames of war, however the ruler did not agree to this opinion and refused to call war on countries as long as there was another option,
"Your Majesty, a crowed is gathering outside the palace, it looks like a demonstration" quivered a local soldier cowering under the kings gaze,
"Major, you and your squad will try to repel them and if necessary shoot to kill" commanded Blade, the ruler of Zahariss and with a quick nod the Major and her squad ran off outside the palace, Blade was not a particularity light spirited ruler but he was moral at the very least, he would only kill when he needs to but also isn't afraid to. Meanwhile outside the Major and her squad bashed the crowed with there rifle butts,
"Get back! Now!" shouted one of the squad members aiming his rifle at the gathering crowed which was drawing worryingly close the the palace gates,
"Alright, let them have it!" ordered the Major who quickly cocked her rifle and began to open fire. Back in the palace courtroom the leaders of the Mod stood with possibly 50 rifle sights aimed at the dead center of there skulls,
"You may spe-" Decreed Blade who was cut off by the mare leading the mob,
"We need help! We need salvation! It's time to stop sitting around this palace as the wasteland chews away at our walls! It's time to find a new land! Or show others what it's like in this desert!" the Mob leader rambled on about a pure world and how every country should be the same,
"Well that would be nice but unfortunately not possible, how the hell am I supposed to make every country equal?" questioned Blade with a mocking smile but that smile quickly vanished as he saw what was going through the mob leaders mind,
"Just a little touch of nuclear help could make it possible..." she whispered with a evil grin,
"Get out...Now" Blade ordered with a swing of his hoof,
"NOW!" he yelled swinging his hoof again,
"Oh I'm not going any ware..." the mob leader said as a huge crowed gathered behind her, suddenly two gunshots went off and all the guards had been massacred and Blade looked around in terror. As the crowed drew ever closer to his throne he jumped off the deluxe chair and made a dive for the window, *SMASH* went the glass pane as his hit the ground with a thud,
"Uh...Uhg..." Blade grunted with shards of glass piercing his flesh, he knew what was in store next, Equestria was about to get one hell of a surprise, an explosive one and made a quick dash for the emergency bunker,
"Gah...Gah..." Blade panted clutching his left arm as blood trickled down his body and propped himself up against a wall in the bunker,
"Wont be long now 'till the bastards find me, better make one last call..." muttered Blade as he made his way to the communications desk,
"Princess Celestia is hear, what seems to-" asked Celestia but was cut off by Blade,
"This is Blade the Ruler of Zahariss...My palace has been taken over by the rebels...And I expect they'll be making a call for you too very soon" Grunted Blade, Princess Celestia saw his bad condition,
"I see...We'll send soldiers over there immediately" Celestia added to try and help the injured unicorn,
"No...Don't worry about me, it won't be 10 minutes until they find me, just prepare for a nuclear blast and save your own country" Blade ordered Celestia, they could hear banging on the metal door outside of the emergency bunker,
"Save yourselves, and if you ever meet my surviving guards tell them..."thanks for bugger all"" Blade added grabbing a pistol preparing for the breach, Blades transmission disconnected as he let out a war cry and gun fire began to ravage the entire bunker. When the missiles had launched Equestria had prepared 900 Safety volts from the nuclear blast which everypony had retreated to so they could be sheltered from the nuclear blasts, the plan was after the nukes had hit, everypony would be let out to try and rebuild there old country and survive, all of the Vaults would open, except...Vault 117...And that is where our story begins.
