//-------------------------------------------------------// The Assassins' Ascent -by Suitabledread- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue NOTE: So then I though to myself... "Screw it" and decided to make a new plot! Sorry about the other chapters though... Ezio was staring at the golden apple with his eyes wide open wondering if he should take it or not."No... You will stay here... I have seen enough for one life." he said to himself. The artifact started to glow beams of bright light. The beams were shining all around the dark and hidden library. Ezio was being pulled in by a mysterious force toward the Apple of Eden. He checked his surroundings the dust was being pulled in as well. He fell on his back and he was slowly sliding in on it. His hook blade extended and it grasped on a crack on the floor. The Apple was now a vacuum pulling in winds at great speeds, Ezio's legs were now being pulled up. The fluttering of his outfit can now be heard. He took a peek over his shoulder and saw a black hole with a yellow ring as an exterior. The yellow beams were transforming into red, the yellow ring was now red as well. SNAP! his hook blade detached and he was sent flying towards the black hole. Twilight Sparkle was stargazing on a hill just outside of Ponyville with her assistant, Spike. He brought a wagon with books that categorized comets, stars, and planets for Twilight. He also brought a bowl of punch, a picnic blanket, and a few gems for himself. Twilight carried the telescope herself. "Say Twilight, why did we come her again?" Spike asked. "We're here because a meteor shower is happening soon" Twilight replied while setting up her telescope. "Something doesn't feel right..." "Yeah? Like what?" Twilight asked. "Well it's just this gut fe-BU-URP!" A green flame exited Spike's mouth and transformed into a letter. "Ugh... It's for you Twi-hiccup-light" she chuckled and levitated the letter towards her. Dear Twilight Sparkle, I know you are going to watch tonight's meteor shower that my younger sister arranged, but I need you and the other elements to come to Canterlot Castle tomorrow afternoon. I will explain everything there. Also, Luna wants to have a word with you about the "bird" incident. From, Princess Celestia "That's weird..." Twilight thought aloud. "What's weird?" Spike asked. "Oh, um, nothing" she turned her head towards the telescope and trotted to it. "Oh isn't it wonderful Spike?" Twilight spoke while looking through her telescope. "Hm? Oh, yeah" Spike didn't really care, he had his eyes on those gems. Something caught Twilight's eye, something dark. It was free-falling, it wasn't long until she spotted a face. "What in Equestria is that?" Ezio opened his eyes, regaining conciseness. He felt wind, lots of wind. He was falling, Ezio immediately moved his hand to his large pouch. He felt he had at least three parachutes left, he pulled it out and held the two ropes tightly. The parachute opened and gave him a slight rope burn. While drifting downwards, Ezio couldn't see through the layer of clouds. As soon as he did a balcony appeared in front of him. His feet slammed onto the balcony's railing, sending him face first onto the floor. He got up and rubbed his nose, a small drop of blood appeared on his finger. Looking down from the balcony, he realizes he's on the highest tower of a castle. He knows it's going to take a while to get down, and seeing that he can't jump or climb off it, he's going to have to descend from the interior. He opened the balcony doors and it revealed a descending spiral staircase with torches along the wall. He took a step on the stairs and started his descent. (Twenty minutes later) He stopped and pushed the door open, he peeked his head out to see if anything was around. A dimly lit hallway was on both sides of him. The hallway seemed to go on forever. He stepped out and began walking to the right side of the hallway. The windows were at least two meters apart from each other with the moonlight shining through. He heard footsteps and ran quickly to the wall, each step on the wall pushed him upward until he jumped after his third step, while in the air he reached his arms out to a chandelier, one of his arms successfully grabbed onto it and his other arm missed, he pulled himself up and positioned himself in a comfortable crouch on the chandelier. Two stallions in golden armor were trotting along the hallway. Ezio wondered why there were horses inside a building. Seeing them as no potential threat, he let them trot further into the hallway before dropping silently. He decided to walk the other way instead. (Eight minutes later) After a series of lefts and rights, he finally found the exit, which was the front door. The door was huge, no doubt it would make a noise when he opened it so he had to be ready. He heard more hoof steps behind him, coming closer and closer. He burst through the doors and ran towards a pile of hay. He heard the hoof steps, then more, then more, then more... They just didn't stop coming. He heard a lot of shouting and yelling "What made that noise?!" or "Who is responsible for this?!" of course the accents weren't Italian, they sounded more buff. He stayed in the hay until the shouting disappeared. He removed some hay out of the way of his eyes so he could see what was going on. No one was around anymore, he jumped out and moved towards the gates. They were closed but he could climb over the wall next to them. He ran up the wall and grasped onto ledge, he pulled himself over and jumped off. He entered a town which more colorful than Constantinople. He noticed the houses and shops were close to each other so he decided to run atop the rooftops instead of the streets. He saw a ramp that was close to a rooftop. He showed a small grin. He positioned himself in a stance like he was ready to race, he started to run, gaining speed, the ramp was about eleven meters away now. Going faster, he ran up the ramp and jumped to the rooftop. He didn't notice, but a young colt was looking from below in awe. Ezio landed and rolled to avoid ant injury. He kept on running, jumping across the rooftops from time to time. (Three minutes later) Ezio came to a halt after he reached the last house. He noticed that this was the end of the town. He jumped off the two-story building and landed in hay. A cobblestone road was ahead of him, a large arch was over the road. Ezio did not mind. While walking, he pulled his journal and began writing. He wrote for about a minute before stopping and putting his journal back in one of his many pouches. A sign stood in front of him one, pointing left, and the other right, the left said "Everfree Forest", right said "Ponyville". He took the right path and headed towards Ponyville. "What an odd name" Note:Okay! How was it? I admit the first one was crappy, next chapter should be out... After I'm done writing this! Which is... Now! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: A Meeting with Royalty //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: A Meeting with Royalty Trees and fireflies surrounded Ezio as he walked towards the settlement named "Ponville", strange thoughts triggered in his mind, "Where am I? What is this place? Why do my hands look strange?". He reflected on that last thought and glared at his hands. They looked... more colorful and unrealistic. The sounds of branches breaking and growling came from behind him. He turned his head over to the direction of the noise. A bush rustled, then again, then again. A chickens head popped out. Confused, Ezio slowly backed away from the chicken. The chicken moved out of the bush with dead red eyes. What Ezio saw next made a chill move down his spine. The chicken had the body of a snake and wings of a bat. He slowly readied his hidden gun, the creature just stared at him as if expecting Ezio to run off. A minute had passed and Ezio felt his legs stiffen up, he looked at his feet... They were turning into stone! He panicked for a short while then aimed his hidden gun at the creature. The gunshot made the birds in the forest fly away. The stone was at reversing from his waist, his knees, then his feet. A small sigh escaped Ezio's mouth. He resumed his walk towards Ponyville, he pulled out his journal from his pouch and began writing. "We need to stop it!" Spike said drowsily then falling into his bed. "No, you need to sleep!" Twilight said in her motherly tone, "You're still a baby dragon after all." She covered him in a blanket, then trotted to a large book lying on the table. She picked it up using her levitation and read the cover to herself, "Myths and Legends." She flipped through several pages, one page seemed to interest her. "Humans," she read looking at the picture of a dark creature standing upright without a tail, "Nopony is quite sure if these bipedal creatures are legend, or simply myth. Humans?" she continued reading, "An ancient tablet found deep in the ruins of the old castle found in the Everfree Forest was discovered. It is written in a language that nopony can understand, nor translate. This piece if ancient history can be found in the museum of Ponyville. It's not that far! But seeing how late it is I doubt it will be open." she looked at her clock. "Tomorrow," she said, "tomorrow I will find out..." She closed her book and trotted up stairs to her bed. She used her levitation spell to move the blanket, she hopped on the bed and layer down, then covered herself. "Tomorrow..." she said before closing her eyes. "Twilight!" a familiar voice called out. "Twilight!" it called again. "Twilight! Wake up you're gonna miss the meeting with Princess Celestia!" She jolted right up, eyes open, and her mane messy. "What meeting?" Twilight questioned. "Your meeting with Celestia! Remember last night?" Spike answered. She tried to remember what happened last night. It all flashed in her head like a camera. "Oh my gosh! I've got to get the others!" She jumped out of her bed and galloped to the door, but Spike stood in the way. "Spike what are you doing?!" She yelled at her assistant. "Relax Twi, I went to go do that while you were asleep." Spike said. "Oh... Well thank you, Spike" She smiled. Spike felt a sudden burst of pride, he stood straight, and stuck his chest out, having a confident smile, "You're welcome!" he said. Twilight rolled her eyes and proceeded to her kitchen cabinet. She levitated a loaf of bread, some hay, and flowers out of the cabinet and onto the table. She put them together, making a sandwich. She let out a "Mmm" and just before she was about to eat it, Spike shouted at her, "Twilight! The chariot is here you gotta go!" She let out a depressed sigh, put down her sandwich, and trotted to the door. She opened the door, two pegasi guards stood there, harnessed to the chariot. "Miss, Twilight Sparkle?" One of them asked. "That's me." she said. "You, and the other elements, have a meeting with Princess Celestia." the second one said. "I know." Twilight moved onto the chariot and said bye to Spike. The guards reared then took off into the sky, flying towards Canterlot Castle. The mane six stood outside of the throne room, waiting for Celestia to open the golden marble doors. "What do you think this meeting is about?" Rainbow Dash asked. They all shrugged. Suddenly, the doors opened, and there on the throne sat the majestic alicorn herself, Princess Celestia accompanied by her younger sister, Princess Luna. "TWILIGHT SPARKLE!" Luna's voice boomed through the entire room, "WE WOULD LIKE TO -ahem- I would like to have a word with you." Luna smiled. "Not now, Luna, you're going to have to wait until the meeting is over." Celestia spoke. "But, Tia-" Luna tried to reason. "Luna, I'm sorry but you have to wait." Celestia interrupted. Luna nodded then mumbled to herself something about being younger and less important. "Hello, my little ponies," Celstia spoke and smiled warmly, "I suppose you're wondering why I called you all here." they all nodded in unison. "You all remember Discord, right?" "Hold on there, princess," Applejack spoke, "are ya sayin' that-" "Discord has escaped? Then yes." She interrupted. "But how? He's imprisoned in stone!" Twilight yelled from across the room. "I wish I knew," Celestia replied, "but you six have proven the power of magic and friendship, with the elements of harmony, I am certain the you all can defeat Discord once again!" An evil laugh echoed in the room. "Oh Celestia... This prep talk again?" "Discord!" Celestia shouted, "Where are you?!" "Woah, woah, calm down... No need for yelling," Discord's voice echoed, "besides... You won't need a search party." A bright light shone in the center of the room, and within a second, he appeared. "Hello, everypony!" everypony gasped. Discord turned to face Celestia, "Ah, Princess Celestia, how goes the day?" he then turned to Luna, "Luna! It's been too long! How was the moon?" Discord grinned evilly. Luna's horn was surrounded in a dark blue aura, she looked like she was about to explode. Celestia put a hoof in front of her and shook her head. "How did you escape?" Celestia questioned. "Now that I think of it," Discord put his right paw (lion) on his chin and cocked his eyebrow, "I don't really know, it could be a disturbance in Equestria." he snapped his finger and a throne submerged from the floor between the two princess's, he snapped his finger again and the they both stood beside the mane six. He teleported and sat on the throne, he put his left claw (griffon) in his mouth and he let out a loud, obnoxious whistle. A pink cloud flew in from the window and hovered above him. A glass appeared in his hand and he held it out, chocolate rain came out of the cloud, and into his glass. He was about to drink it until two guards interrupted him, "Halt!" one of them shouted. Discord snapped his finger and the guards turned into frogs, "You shouldn't be so rude you know?" he continued to drink it, but instead of drinking the chocolate rain, he drank the glass. "Are you gonna finish that?" Pinkie Pie shouted, he threw the chocolate at her and she caught it with her mouth, she gulped than said, "Aaah..." an explosion erupted inside her, and she let out a cough of smoke. Discord laughed hysterically and fell to the ground, pounding his fists on the floor. "Enough jokes!" Luna's voice boomed, "Thou shall tell us thy's plan to destroy Equestria!" "Alright, I've got the 'experience' from last time and I'm not going to make the same mistake," Discord replied, "Here's my four-part Plan, Part one: Hide the elements of harmony! Part two: Don't tell YOU where I'm going to hide! Part three: Kidnap Luna!" he snapped his finger and Luna disappeared, "Luna!" Celestia yelled, "What did you do to-" "Hey, hey, hey! I'm not done yet! Where was I? Oh yes, Part four: Convince Nightmare Moon to join my side!" everypony gasped, "You know what? This plan is so good, I'm going to give you all the sporting chance, and give you the elements! I'm joking of course, goodbye." Discord snapped his finger and and disappeared as well, leaving behind the shocked ponies. NOTE: DAYUM! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: First Contact? //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: First Contact? (This morning.) Sunlight peered through the broken window, causing Ezio to wake up. Ezio awoke on his make-shift bed, made out of torn rags. The rags looked similar to the ones at that hung on the castle walls he was at last night, just a lot more older. He arose to his feet, slowly, then stretched every muscle in his body. He cracked his back, due to the hard stone floor he had slept on, analyzed his surroundings, yup, still the same old castle when he arrived last night. He put on his outfit, (which, in fact he used for a blanket) and began walking towards the exit. A bright light flashed from behind him. He turned his head towards the light, and it blinded him for a second. He used his forearm to cover his eyes to prevent him from going permanently blind. The light lowered, making him able to see a little. After the light completely died, something gold and orange laid on the ground. He walked closer and picked up the object. It was a necklace, it had an orange apple on the front, everything else was gold. The necklace looked like it belonged to a princess. Behind the apple said, "Honesty." Ezio didn't know what this meant, but he decided to keep it. You'll never if someone lost it, if not, then willing to buy. He took one last glance at it before stuffing it in his pouch. He began walking towards the exit, again, and when he was outside, he sat on the stairs. He pulled out his journal and a quill wrapped neatly in a cloth, and began writing. After about two minutes of writing, he stood up and walked down the stairs. Going the opposite way from where he came from, a cliff with a foggy abyss, and a possibly unstable rope bridge, was in the direction of Ponyville. "Great..." he thought sarcastically. Ezio slowly, and carefully, made his first step on the bridge. The bridge made an uneasy groan as he made his second step, each one getting more uneasier. At his eighth step, the rope on the bridge collapsed, and Ezio held onto the rope as tight as he could. He fell through the smoke, and braced for an impact. His shoulder rammed into the hard dirt when he had stopped, he moved to the planks, and climbed them like a ladder. After about thirty seconds he reached the top, and the fog cleared. Once he was about twenty five feet away from the cliff, he fell flat on his back and said, "What a start for today...". He arose and began his walk through the "Everfree Forest". As he walked through the forest, it was getting darker. The branches and leaves were blocked the sunlight from going through, there was a small patch of sunlight every ten feet away from each other. He couldn't help to think that something was watching him. Above him, above the tree line, through a clearing in the leaves, a gray pegasus with a blonde mane, was utterly confused with the address on the package she received. Her eyes caught the movements of the assassin, and swooped down for directions. Ezio heard the sounds of branches breaking, and turned his head towards the noise. Nothing was there. He resumed his walk, the next thing he saw almost gave him a heart attack. The same grey pegasus was hovering in front of him. "Hiya!" the grey pegasus spoke. This alarmed Ezio, causing him to fall down on his rear. "Woah, sorry for scaring you, ummm... Mister? You are a mister, right?" she said again with a giggle. Ezio just sat there, staring at the pegasus, unable to tell if this was reality, or a dream. He noticed her- she was a she, right? Her eyes didn't seem to be looking at him... Directly. In fact, her eyes were looking in the opposite direction of each other. She noticed him staring at her eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that? And why won't you talk?" no reply. "Do you know this place?" she showed Ezio the address. To his surprise, it was written in English. The tag read, "Ponyville". Still unable to speak, he pointed in the direction of Ponyville. She seemed confused at first, then she turned the tag upside-down, and realized what it said. "Ooh... Hehe, whoops." she said embarrassedly. "Sorry for wasting your time... Uh, mister." then she flew off. Ezio still sat there, very confused. "Have I gone mad?" he said to himself. Nothing but darkness, pockets of light, and trees were left with him. (Meanwhile... In the present.) "What do we do?" Twilight said in a panicky tone, trotting back and forth, "He hasn't even given us a riddle, clue, or hint!" "Calm down, Twi, ah'm sure we can think of somethin'." Applejack spoke, trying to keep Twilight from breaking down. "I've got an idea!" Rainbow Dash started, "Where's the first place we found the elements?" "Umm... Twilight's library?" Pinkie Pie guessed. "No," Twilight said, "that's the second place we found them. The first place we found them was in... the ancient castle of the royal pony sisters!" she said excitingly and terrified. "That's a mouthful." Rarity said. "We have no time to lose!" Celestia shouted. "I will have transports for you, but the entrance is as far as they can go! Now hurry my little ponies!" They all nodded and rushed out of the throne room, leaving Celestia with the frogs. "Don't worry we'll have you back in no time." she said to the former-pony guards. They both jumped in delight. Celestia gave them a warm smile. The mane six arrived at the surprisingly large stables. A few guards were, well, guarding the chariots, while the other few were exchanging conversation. "Guards!" Twilight shouted, "We need transport to the Everfree Forest!" "We will give you a lift," one of the guards stated, "but you should know that we-" "Will only drop us off at the entrance," Twilight interrupted, "We know! Just get us there, quick!" "You could just say please." one of them muttered. Three pegasi guards positioned themselves to be hooked on the chariot, and three other unicorns were called in. Each one hooked the pegasi simultaneously. The guards snorted, informing them they were ready. Another one nodded, and tugged on rope with his mouth, curtains were set aside, making room for the pegasi and chariots. Behind the curtains was a landing pad for slowing down, and taking off. Twilight and Rarity stepped on the first one, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy stepped on the second one, and finally Pinkie Pie and Applejack stepped on the last one. Number one was first to go, "I hope you should know," Rarity spoke, "I'm not used to fly-AHHHAHAHAA!" the chariot took off and Rarity was already screaming. Number two was next to go, "O-oh d-d-dear..." Fluttershy stuttered. "Calm down, Shy," Rainbow Dash spoke, "Your a pegasus for crying out loud!" "I know but-" she hid under her mane with her hooves on top of her head, "I'm n-n-not used t-t-to this!" she quietly screamed. Three was last the last one. "Wheeee!" Pinkie Pie shouted with her hooves in the air. "Ah think ah'm gunna be sick..." Applejack said woozily. "Alright girls!" Twilight shouted, "It's going to be sundown when we get there, so were going to need a place to stay. Any volunteers?" Nopony said anything. "U-um your all welcome to stay at my place if you like." Fluttershy spoke up. "Isn't your place kinda small?" Rainbow Dash said. "I have a few mattress's in my basement-." "It's settled then, we'll stay at Fluttershy's house until tomorrow." Twilight interrupted her. "Guards, change destination to Fluttershy's cottage." they nodded and turned slightly to the right. "Wait! I need to get my book at the library first!" the guards nodded again and turned more to the right. "What's so important at your library Twilight?" Rarity asked. "I just need some books to read for tonight." Twilight lied. "Oh, okay." "NOW, when we get there it will be after-dusk." Twilight said. Ezio had arrived to the exit of the "Everfree Forest", and it was now dusk. He doesn't see Ponyville yet, so he decided to find a place to sleep. He looked at his surroundings for... Anything. Nothing was insight, except, that house. The house was the closest thing Ezio could see, so he started walking towards it, unsure about the residents. That gray pony with wings somehow managed to creep back into his mind, and it made him wonder, "What if all the residents of this land were ponies?". A few seconds of thinking. He chuckled to himself a bit, there was no possible way ponies can inhabit a world on their own. It took him a few seconds to realize that he was standing at the front door. He knocked on the door three times. No answer. He knocked again. Still no reply. He opened the door, his hand was on the wall and he accidentally flipped the switch. The light turned on too quick for Ezio, and he squinted to see where the light was coming from. It was coming from the center of the ceiling. It was brighter than a candle, and not so bright as the sun. He wondered what it was, but didn't want to act like a child. He's seen worse. It was a small house, there was a kitchen at the back, but probably not as big as the living room. He saw a staircase and ascended to a small room. A bed beside a window, a night table beside the bed, and a lamp (strange to Ezio). He lied down on the bed, however, it was small. So small that his knees weren't even on the bed. He looked outside, it was night now. Many bright stars shined in the night, the moon was full and he swore he saw something dark on the it. Something... With a horn... And a- SLAM! Somebody was home. Discord teleported to his secret hideout, "The Mountain" (the episode with the sleeping dragon) and walked towards Luna."Hahaha! Luna you should have seen the looks on their face!" Discord spoke in his happy-prankster tone. Luna, however, was tied up. She used her magic to try and untie the rope, but was unable to. "Little, little, Luna pay attention now, if you want to see the light of day again, you are going to do exactly what I say." Luna looked at him, then spat in his face. "We shall never do your bidding!" she shouted. Discord wiped the saliva off his face and stared at it on his paw, "Yes, I thought you'd be more rebellious." he somehow managed to flick it back at Luna like a piece of crunched up paper. "Now listen here, I'm going to bring the monster inside you out." he let out an evil chuckle. "Are thou speaking of Nightmare Moon?" Luna asked. Discord started at a low evil laugh, and it ascended every four seconds, getting more eviler and louder. Lightning struck from behind him. Luna watched in despair, not knowing if anyone will find her before she becomes a monster. NOTE: Sorry if this seemed rushed a bit... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Ponies //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: Ponies Ezio heard the door slam from downstairs, "Make yourselves at home!" a small voice said. He quietly rushed back and forth, looking for a place to hide. The window!... It's too small, he wouldn't fit. He backed up, and was about to ram through the it, maybe he'll make it through? Nah, how about the closet? He turned his head towards the staircase, and heard hoove-steps coming up the stairs now, "I'm just going go get something." the female said. A yellow pegasus trotted into her room, but something felt wrong. She flipped the switch and the light turned on, nopony was here. But there was a somebody. She scanned the room once more, looking for anything suspicious. She giggled softly, "How can anypony be so rude to break into my house?" she thought. Under her little bed, Ezio was curled up in a ball, trying to be quiet and keep his breathing under control. "Fluttershy, is everything okay up there?" another feminine voice called out. "I'm fine!" the one called 'Fluttershy' replied. Ezio was so very confused, "Okay, talking ponies exist now..." he thought to himself. "What's this?" Fluttershy said, picking up a torn gray piece of cloth. She left the room and closed the light. "Twilight, what do you think this is?" Fluttershy asked. "Looks like... A piece of cloth." the one he presumed 'Twilight' replied. "I don't wear anything this dark." Fluttershy said. "Ugh, it smells gross!" an unknown said, "It smells like a stallion that didn't wash himself for a month!" "Calm down, Rainbow," Twilight said, "I'm pretty sure this doesn't belong to a stallion." "What are you, president of this fan-club?" the one called 'Rainbow' replied. Twilight rolled her eyes. "Fluttershy, where did you find this?" Twilight asked. "Well- um, it was in my room." Fluttershy answered. Twilight nodded, "Can I do a quick search in your room?" she asked. "Well I guess so-." Twilight was already upstairs, looking for more evidence. Under the bed, Ezio started sweating. He heard someone sniffing the air. "Do you smell that?" Twilight asked while the others came in. "It smells weird, like moss stone!" a voice higher than the rest spoke. "Ah agree with Pinkie Pie, it smells like the castle we were at during Nightmare Moon's return." an English accent Ezio never heard before spoke. Rainbow started laughing, "Applejack, you actually remember the smell?" "Well at least SOMEPONY here can remember somethin'!" Applejack replied. "Is that an insult?!" Rainbow yelled. "Maybe it is!" Applejack yelled back. "Please stop fighting..." Fluttershy pleaded. They both exchanged death glares at each other. Rainbow snapped her attention to something coming from under the bed, "Hey what's that?" she asked. Ezio's eyes widened, he didn't realize one of his feet was sticking out of the bed. "Fligio di una cagna... (son of a bitch.)" "Huh?" Ezio said, his foot was surrounded by a dark purple aura, and he was pulled out. He hung upside down, facing away from the ponies. "Show yourselves!" he demanded. Ezio slowly turned, waiting to see these 'ponies'. They weren't all ponies, one was a lavender unicorn with a purple mane, and a pink stripe. Two ponies were a pink and orange, the orange one wore a stetson, and had a blonde mane, the pink pony had a dark pink mane. The other two were pegasi, a yellow one that had a light pink mane, and the cyan had a rainbow mane. He already guessed who's names belonged to who. Twilight stood there, mouth agape. Applejack was the same as Twilight. Fluttershy was hiding behind her mane, she looked like she was going to cry. Rainbow was just confused. Pinkie Pie stood in amazement, her eyes gleaming with delight, this scared Ezio a bit, he didn't know why. They all stared at him, in silence. A snow white unicorn with a violet mane trotted in, "Why didn't you all help me when-" she stopped at the sight of Ezio. They all stood in silence. "So..." Ezio started, "You're all ponies?" Nothing. The white unicorn screamed and threw a book at him, It flew past his head and ricochet off the wall, and hit him in the back of his head. The last thing he heard was the muffled yelling of Twilight. "He's an evil creature! He's got evil features!," Pinkie broke into song, "When you look into his eyes, you're going to say jeepers!" "Pinkie!" Twilight shouted. Pinkie Pie turned to see her, "Ye-es?" she responded. "Not now." "Okie-dokie-lokie!" Pinkie replied, she began humming and hopping around. Nopony knew if this creature was friendly or hostile. "So Applejack, what do you think of this thing?" Twilight asked her honest friend. "Well, Twi, what ah think is that this here thing is fifty-fifty," she replied, "It didn't try to gobble us up at least..." Twilight nodded and turned to Rainbow Dash. "How about you, Dash?" She asked. "Well, I think that we shouldn't trust this thing!" Rainbow replied, "We don't know how dangerous this thing can be! Also, I've NEVER seen this kind of thing before." Twilight thought for a moment. "I've got it!" Twilight shouted in triumph, and trotted to her book, "Myths and Legends." She flipped through several pages until she saw one specific page, "Humans." The other five joined in, listening to her read. "Humans can be loving, happy creatures when in peace. However, if this peace is disrupted, all happiness will be gone, and the Human will become violent. Not all Humans are like this, some are very forgiving at times, others aren't. Their finger are complex tools, and are very helpful compared to hooves." It shows a Human hand to the left. "These hands makes it easier to climb, lift, grasp, etc." They turned their head to Ezio, who happened to be tied up and dangling upside down from the ceiling. "Do you think we should let him down?" Twilight asked. "Yeah that sounds good." Rainbow Dash answered. Twilight's horn glowed, so did the rope, and it untied magically. She gently put him down on Fluttershy's bed, he moved a bit and mumbled something about apples. Fluttershy trotted to Ezio, and inspected various parts of his body. "I think he's sick." Fluttershy said. "What? How do you know that?" Rarity asked. "Well, he looks like, um, been through a lot." Fluttershy replied. "What can we do?" Twilight asked, "We know nothing about comforting humans!" "Maybe we can make him a cake!" Pinkie Pie shouted. Ezio made a groan and everypony stood still, staring at the unconscious assassin. Twilight noticed a small journal, showing itself slightly from his pocket. Her horn glowed, and a purple aura surrounded Ezio's journal. She moved it slowly, and carefully, trying her best not to wake him up. The journal exited his pocket, Ezio moved at a lightning fast speed, and grabbed his journal. Twilight was about to scream, but held it in. She realized he was still asleep, "It's just a reflex." she said in relief. His hand slowly fell of the journal, and started snoring. Twilight opened to the first page and read it. Claudia, my dearest sister, I have arrived in a strange new land, I do not know if the people here are friendly, or hostile. I awoke in the sky, falling at great speeds, having no idea where I was. My first thought was, "Where am I?" as would anyone would think. I landed on a castle, it was beautiful, I must admit, but I am no architect. Everything here is more colorful, as if crime had never existed. I wish I knew how to send this to you, but all I can do is hope. I am currently walking to a nearby settlement called, "Ponyville" it is a odd name, I do not know who would name a town that. I will write more as I continue my journey. Dal tuo caro fratello, (from your dear brother,) Ezio Auditore Twilight finished reading, and Rainbow was playing with his sword. "Rainbow Dash! Put that down!" Twilight yelled quietly. "Why? He's asleep, and I doubt he has a sense that tells him something's wrong." Dash said. "I would listen to her Rainbow Dash." a voice said from behind. She turned around to see who it was. There he was, standing tall. She dropped the sword and rushed over to her friends. Ezio examined the ponies. "So," he said, "Who was the one that knocked me out?" All the ponies moved away from Rarity, "Now, dear," she said nervously, "No need to get hasty." He walked towards her, with no emotion. Rarity let out a small, "Eep." before shrinking into a small ball. Ezio stood in front of her, he stood still for a minute before letting out a small chuckle. He kneeled and patted her in the back, "Don't worry," he said, "I saw how scared you were, I would do the same, except for that scream." he let out a small chuckle and arose. "Wait," Twilight said, "You're not violent?" "Only when I need to be." Ezio replied. "Meaning?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Meaning I would hurt anyone if they decide to hurt me, or my friends." He said without expression. He remembered about the necklace he found at the castle, and pulled it out. "Does anyone know who this belongs to?" he asked while showing them that necklace. "Where did you find that!?" Twilight asked. "It appeared out of nowhere," Ezio answered, "The place I was staying, was at a old castle, in the middle of the forest." "THE EVERFREE FOREST!?" They all cried out, "Don't y'all know how dangerous that place is?" Applejack said. "The monsters!" Pinkie cried out. "The clouds move on their own!" Rainbow Dash shuddered. "The animals take care of themselves..." Fluttershy said in a very low tone, hiding behind her mane. "I'm sorry, what did you say?" Ezio asked. "Isaidtheanimalstakecareofthemselves..." Fluttershy said, backing up a bit. "I still do not hear you." Ezio said. Fluttershy let out a small, "Eep." before she completely hid in her mane. Ezio shot a confused look at Twilight, "She's just shy." Twilight said. "Ah." Ezio replied, "I won't be a bother now, so I'll just go." he walked towards the stairs. "Wait!" Twilight called out, "Why don't you stay for tonight?" Applejack moved closer and whispered, "Are ya crazy Twi?" "Yeah!" Pinkie Pie said, "Are you loco in the cocoa?" "Think of it girls," Twilight started, "This is the first human seen in centuries!" "Is everything okay?" Ezio called out. "Of course!" Twilight replied, "You can stay!" She shot death glares at everypony before Ezio entered the room. "Where are you all sleeping?" Ezio asked. "We have mattresses set up downstairs," Rarity said, "The ones I had to set up." "Sadly we only have six bed in total." Twilight said. "Too bad, so sad," Rainbow Dash said, "We don't have enough beds, guess you'll just have to-" "Dash, why don't you just get a cloud and bring it here?" Twilight inteerupted. "But-" "Rainbow Dash, we have a guest." Twilight said while sneaking a death glare. She sighed then said, "Fine." she flew out the window in a cyan streak, then came back with a cloud. "How did you..." Ezio said, not completing his sentence. "A pegasus has the ability to manipulate weather," Twilight said, "I'll give you the full history lesson tomorrow, I'm beat." Fluttershy whispered in Pinkie Pie's ear. "Fluttershy said you can sleep in her bed!" Pinkie said. "Thank you Fluttershy." Ezio replied. "I'm going to bed now, good night." He said while walking toward the bed. "Before you sleep," Twilight said, "What's your name?" "Ezio," he said, "Ezio Auditore." "This is tougher than I thought..." Discord said to himself. "We shall never give in!" Luna's voice boomed through the entire cave. Discord chuckled than said, "If you won't transform, I'll just have to... Make you laugh forever!" He snapped his finger, and immediately regretted it. Luna laughed so hard, that it was in her very, VERY LOUD VOICE. Discord plugged his ears and closed his eyes tightly, the entire cave shook because of her. "My gosh, STOP LAUGHING!!" he snapped his finger again and Luna stopped. She was breathing heavily and sweating a bit. He yawned an said, "I need to think, I'll be back in an hour or so." He walked towards the exit, he stopped and said, "I have some serious chaos to bring!" then continued. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Train Ride //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Train Ride Ezio awoke to the sound of a rooster, it was dawn, and the sun shined orange rays through the window. The orange light caught Ezio's eyes, and they slowly opened. He slowly sat up, stretched, then yawned. His first though was "Ponies." were they still here? He'll just have to find when he goes downstairs. Ezio slipped on his assassin outfit, but didn't wear the hood. His combed black hair with silver streaks shined in the light. Below, Fluttershy awoke as well, many had considered her an "Early-bird." due to her waking up early. Her first task in the morning were feed the pets, usually when she was done it'd be noon. Ezio descended the stairs, and found five sleeping ponies, lying on mattresses. He sighed, "I guess it was not a dream..." he thought to himself. He noticed Fluttershy wasn't sleeping, instead she was in the kitchen, cooking something with her oven. He greeted her with a, "Good morning." which happened to startle her. She quietly replied, "Good morning," but Ezio was able to catch it. He carefully walked over the sleeping ponies, trying his best not to wake them up. He arrived at the kitchen, and saw Fluttershy pull out a tray with a cloth that was in her mouth. "Isn't that hot?" Ezio asked, Fluttershy put down the tray, "Very..." she replied quietly. He chuckled and sat down on a small chair, then shifted to a comfortable position. "Do you have any tea?" Ezio asked. Fluttershy nodded, and gestured him what kind of tea he wants by showing flavors. He read each one, blueberry, raspberry, green tea, black tea, flower, mountain flower, dandelions. Each one started to get stranger, and there was a flavor for strange. He asked for black tea and Fluttershy nodded, she poured water in a kettle, turned on the stove, and poured the powder. She stirred the water and trotted into the living room, "Wake up, everypony." she said gently. A few eyes fluttered opened, then some yawns, and eventually, they fully woke up and arose to their hooves. "Mornin'." Applejack said while stretching. "Sup?" Rainbow Dash said while stretching her wings. "Happy morning!" Pinkie Pie yelled, her mane frizzy, and puffed all over the place. "Good morning." Twilight said, her mane frizzy as well. "Good morning, darlings." Rarity said, her mane still in perfect condition. She levitated a mirror in front of her, and gasped very loudly, "My mane!" a single hair was out of place. "Fluttershy, dear, Where do you keep your hair brush?" Rarity asked frantically. "Well, I keep it in my second drawer in my dresser-" Fluttershy was interrupted by Rarity's white blur, a speed Ezio has never seen before. "Your tea is done." Fluttershy said to Ezio, a little louder than a whisper. Ezio walked to the kettle, resting on the stove. "Where are the cups?" Ezio asked, Fluttershy pointed with her hoof, to a cupboard in the corner of the kitchen. Ezio grabbed a yellow mug, it had a carving of three pink butterflies, similar to the picture on Fluttershy's flank. He didn't notice until now, but all six of them had a different picture on their flanks. "What are ya lookin' at?" Applejack asked Ezio, who stopped looking immediately, "Nothing." Ezio replied while pouring tea into his cup. "Ezio," Twilight said, "We're going to see the princess." Ezio took a sip from his cup. "Why?" he asked, taking another sip. "Well, you are the first human seen in a very long time, so long that most ponies think your race is a myth!" Twilight exclaimed. "There's more of you?" Ezio asked, feeling a little dizzy. "Yes, and I believe the princess is the only one who's been here long enough to actually see a human before." Twilight said. "Princess you say?" Ezio said, "I'm not good with royalty." "Come on! It won't be so bad!" Twilight pleaded, making a face that made Ezio reconsider. He sighed, "Fine." Twilight thanked Ezio five times until he interrupted her, "On one condition!" Twilight looked at him, "What is that?" "Let me finish my tea..." Applejack moved beside Twilight, "Are ya sure that's a good idea, Twi?" she whispered. "I'm sure, if there's anyone old enough to know what a human is, it's got to be the princess!" Twilight whispered beck. Walking into Ponyville. Well, sneaking into Ponyville. Twilight warned him that he might cause a commotion, because he was a human. Ezio understood her, he was an assassin after all. He walked in alleyways, jumped across rooftops, he even used a box to move around in. While jumping across rooftops, Ezio almost missed the tree/library/house Twilight told him about. He saw a balcony in jump range, he sprints towards the edge of the roof, jumped, reached out his hands, and grabbed on the balcony. A miracle it didn't break, he hoisted himself of the railing, and knocked on the glass doors. A purple reptilian creature opened the door, yelled, then closed the doors immediately. Ezio put his head against the wall, and listened. "I don't wanna open it! What if it eats me?" a voice of a small boy came from inside. "He's not going to eat you Spike!" he heard Twilight's voice, "Besides, we need to send a letter to Celestia, now open that DOOR!" Ezio backed away from the door, and there stood the reptilian, Spike. He looked awfully scared, he was trembling with fear! Ezio let himself in, seeing how scared Spike was. Spike was big as his knee, while ponies were around his waist. "Spike! Get over here!" Twilight yelled from downstairs. Spike snapped out of his trance, and rushed downstairs. "Okay," he said, grabbing a quill and scroll, "What do I write?" "Dear Princess Celestia, I have recently discovered that a human has been found in Equestria, by me. Well, me and my friends found him hiding under Fluttershy's bed. If I am correct, you, Celestia, are the only one that knows about humans. This human's name is, Ezio, he seems friendly. I eagerly await your reply. From your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle." "Twi-light... Spar-kle! There!" Spike said. "Send it." Twilight ordered to her assistant. Spike held the letter up, inhaled, then exhaled a green flame that engulfed the scroll. Ezio stared at the letter that disappeared, "I thought you were going to send it! Not burn it to a crisp." he said. Twilight laughed then said, "He did send it, Spike uses that flame to send messages." Ezio looked dumfounded. Twilight sighed, "Spike has two types of flames, one that actually burns things to a crisp, the other one sends messages." Ezio thought for a second, flames that sends messages... Doesn't seem possible. Talking magical ponies didn't seem possible either, so he was able to agree with it. Spike let out a burp, then a flame came out, and a scroll landed on the ground. Spike grabbed the scroll and cleared his throat, "Dear Twilight Sparkle, if you are speaking the truth, than you must bring the human to Canterlot Castle immediately. I suggest you bring your friends as well. I'm sorry that I can't bring any transport for you, you'll have to take a train. No questions asked, this is urgent. From, Princess Celestia." Spike finished reading the letter. "Sounds important." Twilight said. "Indeed." Ezio agreed. Celestia stood beside her window in her room, staring down at Ponyville. "I guess Discord isn't the only enemy that has returned." The Sun Goddess spoke to herself. She turned around to look at her room, marble white floor and walls, a golden chandelier hung in the center of the ceiling, her queen sized bed with red blankets and sheets, and a portrait of her and Luna, standing together on top of the castle, smiling. Celestia smiled at the picture, then continued looking at Ponyville. "Waiting for a train, whatever the hell that is." Ezio thought to himself, sitting on a bench. It was in the after-noon, the sun was high, and the colors were brighter than ever. The other ponies who passed by him were either confused, scared, or just ran away screaming. It was amazing to see ponies in different variation of colors, some Ezio had never seen before. Twilight was finished talking to the ticket administrator, and trotted towards Ezio with seven golden tickets. "Alright I've got the tickets for the next train! Which should be here in about..." she turned to the clock on the wall, "Ten minutes! Grab some snacks if you're hungry." "No thank you." Ezio replied, and shook his hand. Twilight shrugged, "If you say so." she trotted to where her friends were, a snack bar. Ezio looked at them, talking, laughing, and smiling. He hasn't seen this much happiness in many, many years. A pony wearing a cloak sat beside Ezio. "Psst." The mysterious pony grabbed Ezio's attention. "What?" Ezio said. "Do NOT go on the train." the pony said cautiously. "Why is that?" Ezio asked, now suspicious. "You have been warned." the pony vanished into smoke, leaving nothing behind. Ezio looked on the rooftops for anything running across them, he's seen this trick before. There wasn't a pony, nothing but birds flying. He heard a noise, metal creaking, then a large whistle. "The train is here!" Twilight shouted to Ezio. Ezio looked to where the noise was coming from, a large, metal machine, appeared. "That's a train?" Ezio asked. "Yup! And it's our ride." Applejack said. The train came to a complete stop, then whistled again. "All aboard!" The train driver yelled. Several ponies boarded the train, trying to stay away from Ezio. He boarded the train, walked towards the back, and sat down. The ponies around him exited their seats and sat as far away as possible. Ezio looked out the window and looked at the mountain, snow covered the land where they were going, except their destination. A couple rows ahead, the mane six were talking. "He looks kinda lonely, don'tcha think, Twi?" Applejack said. "Yeah he kinda does." Twilight agreed. "I'll go sit with him!" Pinkie Pie volunteered. "Go ahead." Twilight said. Pinkie rushed to the seat, sat down, looked at Ezio, and smiled ear to ear. Ezio looked at her, flinched, then gave an awkward smile. Rainbow Dash moved beside Twilight, "I don't trust him, Twilight." she said. "You don't have to." Twilight replied. "So-o," Pinkie said to Ezio, "Do you like cupcakes?" "Cupcakes?" Ezio asked. "Yes cupcakes!" Pinkie shouted, "They're like, the most delicious things in the world!" "It seems possible." Ezio said. (or in modern times, "Seems legit.") "Did you hear that?" Twilight said. A bump came from the roof of the train. (Play This For Awesomeness!) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkoSNfGzyLU) Hooded ponies bursted through the window. "Bandits!" Rainbow Dash yelled. There was six of them, each one going after a specific target. "Stay here." he told Pinkie Pie. Ezio saw Fluttershy, defenseless and scared. A bandit was closing in on her, Ezio charged the bandit, knocking him away from her. Ezio punched the hooded pony in the cheek, he returned it. The pony kicked Ezio off him, sending him flying. The bandit charged him, Ezio countered with his knee. The bandit was unconscious, Ezio picked him up, and put him in the restroom. Applejack, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash were having no trouble defending themselves, Rarity, however, was flailing her arms at the attacker. "Stay away you ruffian!" she screamed. Ezio ran at the bandit, punched him, and sent him flying. The bandit arose and shook his head, he growled at Ezio. Ezio put his arms in a defensive position, the bandit tried to punch him, Ezio moved to the side, and punched the attacker in the back of the head. Two down, four to go. Ezio picked up the body, and dropped it in the restroom. "Help!" Twilight shouted, pinned down on the floor by a bandit. Ezio tackled him, sending both of them flying. They slammed against a wall, the bandit punched Ezio, he returned it, the bandit tried to punch Ezio but missed, Ezio grabbed his head, and slammed it against the wall. Three down, three to go. Ezio picked up the pony, then got tackled. Ezio dropped the body, and fell on the floor. A bandit stood above him, punched Ezio several times, Ezio moved his head, and the bandit's hoof slammed against the floor. A howl of pain came out of the bandit's mouth, Ezio punched him off. Four down, two to go. Ezio picked up both of the bodies, and put them in the restroom. "Ah need some dog gone help!" Applejack yelled. Ezio ran at the bandit, but was cut off by Rainbow Dash. She tackled the bandit and slammed him against the wall, knocking him unconscious. "Ha! Beat that!" Rainbow taunted Ezio. One of the bandits opened the window, "I'll be back human!" he shouted, then jumped off. (Stop music) "Well that's surprising." Ezio said. "I'll say, this rarely happens in Equestria." Twilight said. "Where's Pinkie!?" Rarity shouted. "In here!" A muffled voice came from the cabinets, one opened, and Pinkie popped out. "How can you fit in there?" Ezio asked. Pinkie Pie shrugged. "Let's just be prepared for next time." Applejack said, everyone nodded. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry if the fight scene was a bit rushed... It's almost five and I want to get this posted and get some sleep... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Part One: Entering Canterlot //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Part One: Entering Canterlot Ezio sat on the seat with Pinkie Pie, who was talking like crazy. "So when me and my friends were walking into the 'Everfree Forest' they saw a bunch of scary looking trees so I sang a song for them." she took a long, big breath, "When I was a little filly and the sun was going do-o-own," Ezio sighed and decided to zone out, looking outside at the scenery. The snowy terrain had disappeared and grass was now all over the landscape, including trees, flowers, and a clear sky. It was strange to him how two different weathers can be so close to each other, but it wasn't the first time he has seen it. The train was surprisingly large on the interior, but seeing it outside, it was small. A large castle had come into view, "Oh dear..." Ezio said. Pinkie Pie stopped singing, "What's the matter?" she said with concern. "Nothing," Ezio lied, "Nothing at all." he continued looking at the white and gold castle that was off in the distance. "Where is this Canterlot?" Ezio asked Pinkie. "See that castle over there?" Ezio nodded, "That's Canterlot!" she said ecstatically, and started humming "At the Gala." Ezio liked the tune for some reason, and started bobbing his head side to side. An hour had passed since ambush, and a few of the ponies were still a bit jumpy. Rainbow Dash appeared and nudged Pinkie, "Why don't you go sit with Fluttershy for a bit? I want to talk to our friend here." Pinkie Pie nodded furiously and rushed to her friend, Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash sat down beside Ezio and eyed him. "I suppose you're here to say something?" Ezio asked her. "I guess you're not dimwitted after all." She said with a mocking smile. "If you are going to insult me, make it quick and get to the point." "Listen, I don't trust you... At all." "Understandable." Ezio said simply. "What, that's it? No angry remarks?" She said confusingly. "Nobody can trust a person like me, it would be dangerous, and wise not to." "What do you mean a person like me?" "I have said enough, now let me be." He waved his hand dismissively. Rainbow Dash seemed annoyed by this, she moved of her seat, trotted over to Rarity, and sat down beside her. "Rainbow, dear, you seem upset." Rarity said, trying to comfort her cyan friend. "It's that dumb humans fault." Rainbow said flatly. "Whatever do you mean?" "I don't trust him!" "I heard that!" Ezio called from behind. "Nopony was talking to you!" She shouted back angrily. "Rainbow, calm yourself!" Rarity interrupted. "He started it!" she said. "I don't care! I'm finishing it!" Silence filled the train. "Dear Celestia, you are acting like a child." A pony came from a door in front of the train, wearing a red top hat, and a red jacket. "Tickets." he said, all the tickets were held in the air. Ezio realized he didn't have his ticket, "Twilight, where is my ticket?" Twilight shrugged. He searched every pocket and pouch, even the ones where he only put his poisons. "Ticket please." the ticket collector said, having no effect on Ezio's appearance. "I lost my ticket." Ezio said flatly. "Please stand up, sir." He asked Ezio. Ezio obeyed and stood up, under where he sat, showed the golden ticket. "They're always sitting on it." he said jokingly before continuing to the next pony. "Please be ready to exit the train." the instructor said. All the ponies stood up, grabbed their belongings, and were ready to leave the train. "Hey look, there it is!" Pinkie Pie yelled, pointing her hoof at the castle gates. The train rail wasn't going through the gates of course, it led to a train platform, where few guards stood. The train slowed down, letting an irritating "Screech." Ezio's ears would always feel weird after the noise it made. "I have to admit," he told Twilight, "These trains travel fast." "Not as fast as teleportation." Ezio looked at her, confused. Twilight sighed, "Another thing I'll tell you about later, don't humans have magic?" Ezio looked at her, even more confused. Actually, there was one thing, "Well, I have heard of it, although I have never seen it." "Would you like to?" Twilight asked. Ezio gestured with his hand 'go ahead', giving Twilight the signal to do it. "Please exit the train." the instructor interrupted. "Maybe next time." Twilight smiled sheepishly. All the ponies exited the train, Ezio waited for them. "Hey, where's Ezio?" Applejack asked, looking for any tall humans among the crowds. After the crowd disappeared, Ezio came out from the train, then waved to them. The same pony he met before he entered the train appeared beside him. "I warned you not to go on the train." the hooded pony said. "You, you knew this was going to happen." Ezio picked up the hooded pony, "Who are you?" The mysterious pony chuckled. "I'm trying to help you." "How can I trust you?" The pony chuckled again, "You don't." Ezio considered this, it's better than nothing. "Very well then, what shall I call you?" "Call me Dust." The pony disappeared again, escaping Ezio's grasp, and turning into smoke. The mane six trotted over to Ezio, not seeing what happened to the pony. "Who was that?" Twilight asked. "Just a small problem." "What is that?" Fluttershy decided to speak. Ezio remained quiet. "You really are a mystery." Rarity said. "Where are we heading?" Ezio asked. "We're going to the castle." Twilight said. "That is what I fear..." Ezio murmured under his breath. "What was that, dear?" Rarity asked. "Nothing." This made some of them curious, as for Pinkie Pie, she just accepted it. "Well, shall we?" "We shall." Rarity said. They continued through a hallway, with guards. As they walked passed them, each one seemed to take a glance at Ezio, keeping their serious mood. The walk seemed like hours, even though they have now reached the end in a minute. Two guards stood in the way, holding gold spears. "Uh, tough security, don't you think?" Twilight said to the guards. "Princess Celestia has given us orders to tighten security, seeing how there is a new threat to this land." he looked at Ezio. "Other than that, no weapons beyond this point." said the other guard, glancing at Ezio's weaponry. Ezio stared at him for a moment, then took off his sword (keeping the sheath on), and tossed it in front of the guards hooves. The guard looked at Ezio, then back to the weapon, "You have more than this." Ezio removed his crossbow, and tossed it with the sword. "Turn around, human." Ezio turned, "Please remove your other weapon." Ezio sighed, unstrapped his short blade, and tossed it in the pile. "Everything seems to be in order her, you may proceed." The spears were removed from their path, allowing them to enter Canterlot. As they passed the guards, Ezio looked at one of them. The guard shot a look at him, and it didn't look too friendly. They entered a building, filled with ponies, most of them wearing clothes. It seemed... unnatural to Ezio. The customer was demanding that the ticket administrator behind the desk would give them 'real service'. He immediately realized their kind of type, the rich and fancy peop- ponies, that don't really care about other ponies not superior to them. A unicorn with tuxedo and a light azure mane, moved in front of the complaining customer. "Oh! Fancypants! I didn't see you there!" the administrator said to Fancypants. "Quite fine, good sir, I was hoping to get a ticket to Ponyville, I have to meet a specific dressmaker there." Fancypants said to him. "O-of course!" The administrator went to work as he searched through piles of paper, searching for a ticket. He pulled out a ticket that read "Ponyville." "Here you go! On ticket to Ponyville!" "Thank you, good sir." Fancypants said before he trotted off, letting the customer continue complaining. Rarity went to see him, it was clear she was happy. "Um, excuse me, Fancypants?" Rarity said. The unicorn stopped and glanced at her, "Rarity! I was just going to go see you!" He said in delight, "Saves me the trip to Ponyville, anyways, I need a new dress design. The other one that you made was a hit in the stores!" "How many ponies brought it?" Rarity said, eager to hear his reply. "Too many to count! In fact, there wasn't a turn where you wouldn't see a yellow dress within the crowd!" This was the part where Rarity would squee in delight. And she did. "If you can pull something off like that again, I'll pay you five thousand bits, in person!" "F-f-f-f-f-five th-th-th-thousand b-b-b-bits?" Rarity was unable to believe what he just said. "In person!" Fancypants finished her sentence. "That's a very generous offer, but I must decline," Rarity said, then looked back at her friends, "I have important matters to attend to!" "Understandable, my dear." He said, having no problem at all, "My offer still stands, but you may take your time, I wouldn't mind if you sent it in the next three months!" "Very well then, I shall send it to you after I am done with my business." Rarity said, glad that she can still design something after their business with Discord. "That is excellent to hear! I shall await your design, until then, good luck!" He said before trotting out of the building. She stood there, smiling ear to ear, then turned to her friends. They all hugged each other, letting out girly squeals and congratulations. Even to Ezio, five thousand bits sounded like a big deal. Of course it did, it's five thousand bits! "Are we going to continue?" Ezio asked after they were finished their 'group hug'. "Of course!" Rarity said, trying to keep her elegant tone. They walked out of the building, and outside revealed Canterlot. The place where Ezio first plunged into Equestria. Mares and stallions filled the streets of Canterlot, wearing uniforms that Ezio still thought that it didn't fit them. The same colt that had seen Ezio on the night he arrived saw him again, the young one galloped to Ezio in excitement. "Hey! You're the, the, the, uh, what are you?" He stammered a bit. "Human." Twilight answered. "Yeah! Human! You're the human that was jumping across the rooftops!" Sudden gasps and murmuring was heard all over the place. "I think it's best we get going now." Fluttershy said in a quiet tone. They walked through the streets, everypony stared at them as they passed. This made Fluttershy extremely nervous. They had almost arrived to castle, just a couple more houses and stores, than they'd be at the gates. A unicorn selling jewelry stepped in front of them, "Hello mares and... sir, may I interest you in some jewelry?" he pulled out case showing emerald, sapphire, ruby, and diamond necklaces. "They look lovely!" Rarity said, "But no thank you." The seller frowned, slammed the case shut, and trotted away. "How rude." They continued their walk, trying to avoid as much sellers as possible. Eventually, they arrived at the gates of "Canterlot Castle." Four guards stood by the golden gates, staring at nothing. "Halt!" one of them ordered. They stood still, while the other three investigated them, searching various parts of their body. After inspection he nodded, and the gates opened. "It's been kinda quiet on the way here." Fluttershy said, walking through the gates to the castle. "Yeah, she's right." Rainbow Dash agreed. "Well then, what should we talk about?" Twilight said. Nobody said a word. "Then we should keep going." They had to climb three flights of stairs, before finally reaching the door. The same large, golden door that Ezio opened and made his escape. "Do we just wait here, or do we knock?" Applejack asked. "I think we're supposed to-" Twilight spoke but was interrupted by the large doors creaking, and slowly opening. A sudden flash of yellow light hit Ezio in the chest, causing a massive, overwhelming pain. He let out a painful scream, alarming the ponies. "Ezio what happened-" Ezio's scream cut Twilight off, he grasped his chest as hard as he could. He fell to his knees, the pain was too much. "W-w-w-what's h-h-happening?" Fluttershy said, almost on the verge of crying. "It's it's it's-AAAAUUGGHH!!" Ezio tried to speak, but the pain felt like a burning sun. "It should feel like that." A feminine voice said within the castle. "Show yourself!" Ezio demanded, while Twilight's face darkened. A majestic white pony, or unicorn, or pegasus, actually all of them, removed herself from the castle. She had a mane similar to Rainbow Dash's, but it seemed to flow with the wind and sparkle in the light. Her cutie mark was a sun. "Princess?!" Twilight yelled in surprise. "She's your Princess?" Ezio asked, the pain was starting to lower. "Yes, I am the princess, Princess Celestia, the Goddess of the sun." This surprised Ezio, that explains the sun on her flank. A Goddess stood before him, and she was also a royal princess. "I know what you are, human." her tone sounded elegant, and yet ready to kill something at the same time. Her horn glowed a brilliant yellow light, it was brilliant until it caused Ezio more pain. "Celestia, what are you doing?! You're hurting Ezio!" Twilight looked at her mentor, she thought she was a kind pony. "Twilight, you must understand, humans can not be trusted!" Celestia told Twilight, hoping she would understand. "But Ezio was the one that saved us from the bandits!" Ezio was still in pain, the world around him was starting to darken. "Twilight, I mustn't let what happened last time!" All Ezio could now hear was the speaking of muffled ponies, there was so much pain, he fell back, and down the stairs he went. Everything went black. AUTHORS NOTE:Sorry if this doesn't satisfy you, I really couldn't think of another way to make the next chapter more... exciting. Anyways, feedback is appreciated! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Part two: Escape from Canterlot //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 Part two: Escape from Canterlot AUTHORS NOTE: Sorry this took so long, I've been getting lazy recently. Ezio opened his eyes slowly, he was being dragged by a few guards, and saw he was in a hallway with cobblestone walls that was filled with moss. There was no sunlight, only the light of torches. To his left were prisoner cells, the prisoners didn't look like they were ready to kill, they all looked sad. "He's awake! Quick, knock him out!" Ezio ducked and avoided the incoming hoof, dodging it by an inch. He escaped the grasp of the guard, turned to face them, and raised his fists. They stepped out of the way, revealing a unicorn. The unicorn closed his eyes and concentrated, his horn began to glow a blue light, then it shot Ezio, he stood there, unable to move. Ezio was only able to let out grunts of anger. The guards began laughing at the immobile human. The unicorn let out a "Ahem" before the guards continued to drag Ezio to his cell. They threw him in the cell, accompanied by a pegasus hiding himself in the shadows. Ezio was able to move again, he held the bars and cursed at the guards in Italian. The pegasus took notice of Ezio while he was brushing the dust off of himself. "Well I'll be a Manticore's uncle... Lyra was right!" The pegasus said in a old and raspy voice. "All this time... Nopony would listen to her! Well look who's laughin' now!" The pegasus let out a hearty, old laugh, followed by a few coughs. "Who are you?" Ezio asked the shadowy figure. "I," he said while stepping out of the shadows, "Am Harp, and Lyra's grandfather." Harp was a dark green pegasus, with crimson red eyes, a black mane and tail, and a grey beard. Harp took pride in the last word he said, grandfather. "Who is this, Lyra?" Ezio asked yet another question. "Well I'm glad you asked!" Harp was clearly happy someone asked about his granddaughter. "Ya see, Lyra is a musician. Well, she only plays the lyre." Ezio nodded. "She had a dream about a human, she didn't know 'bout them at first, ya see. Then she looked through every possible book she could find, until she found it, 'humans'. She read more and more, becoming more interested in them, then she did research. And I was happy enough to help her, oh the adventures we had!" Harp let out another laugh. "How long have you been in here?" Harp put a hoof on his chin and thought about it. "Now that I think about it... quite a while." Ezio resisted the urge to face palm, "When EXACTLY did you arrive here?" "Oh, about... ten or eight years. If I'm counting correctly." Ezio made a quick decision. "Harp, how would you like to see her again?" Harp's left ear flickered, then slowly turned his head towards Ezio. "You'd do that... for me? What's yer name?" "Call me Ezio, but we have to wait until the heat dies down, we do not want to get caught, now do we?" Ezio said while turning to see a guard pass by their cell. He made sure no guards were around, he then turned to Harp. "Here is the plan..." "No! I shall not allow it!" "You have to understand, it's the only way he can escape without bringing harm upon the others!" "-grumbling- Very well then, on one condition!" "Yes?" "He must NOT harm the princess! I shall be watching your every move..." "Of course, master." "Do not mess this up! Everything is going according to plan..." "Princess, are you absolutely CERTAIN that was necessary." Twilight asked Celestia, who happened to bring them to her private chambers so they could discuss the matter at hand privately. The chamber was decorated with flags, books, a single large table, a few windows, and a fireplace. Each flag was red, and had a single picture of the sun. In the center of the room was a globe, showing all locations of where ponies all over Equestria had settled. "Yes Twilight, I am very certain. If this doesn't convince you, how about I tell you what happened last time?" "Last time?" Fluttershy asked. "Yes last time, did you not hear me the first time during the..." Celestia stopped there, it wasn't natural for her to harm ponies, or living beings more or less. Fluttershy immediately shook her head gently, not wanting to hear the rest. "Well, what happened last time is that a human who called himself... Al- Alt-, I'm sorry we are going to have to search in my library. Follow me." An explosion was heard in the distance, "Change of plans, the library will have to wait!" Celestia and the mane six charged out of the room and a group of guards stood there. "Princess, the human has escaped!" "What? How?" "He had a hidden blade!" "Where is he now?" "He is currently-" The guard was interrupted by the doors slamming open further down the hallway, dust was everywhere. Once the dust cleared Ezio stood in the middle of the wreckage. He spotted the group and began running in the opposite direction of them. "SEIZE HIM!" Celestia shout echoed throughout the entire castle. Earlier... "Are you sure this'll work?" Harp asked unsurely about Ezio's plan. Ezio was busy trying to pick the lock from the cell with his hidden blade, (which they happened to not know about.) "I did this before, I am uncertain it will work for this lock," A sudden click came from the door, Ezio looked back at Harp with a sly grin. "Alright, alright, let's git goin'." Harp pushed Ezio through the cell door. Ezio stopped him and searched for guards. He pulled Harp closer for a whisper, "Always look for trouble BEFORE breaking out." Harp nodded slowly. Ezio looked around again, inspecting the ground. "The next patrol will be here in a minute, let's move!" Harp gave Ezio a strange look, then shrugged and followed him. (Play This) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8oSMTTcB3o&nomobile=1) Ezio and Harp turned around a corner, sneaking throughout the hallway. A single barrel stood in their path, Ezio curiously approached it and found a note. Thought you might need this. -Dust. Ezio removed the note from it's place and revealed a vial, holding a blue liquid substance. The vial read, "Paralysis." And six darts rested beside it. Ezio stuffed the vial into one of his pouches and grabbed the darts as well. "Ya sure you should be acceptin' gifts from strangers?" "It's the only way we can proceed without harming any guards, this doesn't mean I trust him." Ezio continued down the hallway. He stopped Harp and signaled him to look behind the corner, Harp saw two guards speaking to each other. "There's two guards over there." He whispered to Ezio. Ezio nodded and inserted a dart into his hidden gun, aimed cautiously so he wouldn't miss, then fired. "Hey, did you hear that?" One of them spoke. "Whuzza buncha cupcakes..." The other one said then fell, snoring. Guard number one began galloping towards a door, "Not so fast." Ezio fired another dart, the guard slowed down, trotted in a circle, then passed out. As they passed by the guards hoof steps were heard from behind. "We need to leave, right now!" Ezio shouted in a whisper. The quickly snuck to the door without alarming any guards, opened it, and quickly closed it shut. They looked at each other then began to chuckle. "Ahem." They looked to where the sound came from, five guards stood there, angry. "Let me take care of this." Ezio said, running full speed at the guards. Harp stood in awe as he watched the assassin knock out the guards in under fifteen seconds. A pile of unconscious stallions layer there, "How did you learn how to fight like that?" Harp asked. "Training when you are still young gives you much skill as you age." Ezio replied, gesturing Harp to follow. (Stop Music) They continued their journey through a marble white hallway, it seemed all that there ever is in this castle are hallways. After about five minutes of sneaking, shouting was heard from behind them. They found the bodies. Their sneaking was now replaced with running. Ezio stopped by a door with a sign labeled, "Hangar." "What are you doing? We gotta get get outta here!" Harp exclaimed. Ezio pointed at the sign, Harp looked back at him. "What about you? Only a pegasus can fly out that way." "Do not worry about me, I'll be fine. You must leave now, find Lyra." Harp nodded and burst through the door. Ezio looked at him, running at the opening of freedom. Harp jumped, spread his wings, and began flying towards Ponyville. He waved goodbye to Ezio before proceeding. "Halt!" a shout came from behind. Ezio had no choice but to enter the hangar, and slam the door, barricading it with crates. The guards banged their hooves on the door, "Give up! There's nowhere to run!" The guard was right, there was no escape. Ezio noticed a crack in the wall, he scratched it and light emitted from it. A way out. Ezio placed a bomb in the crack then lit it, he ran and jumped away from the explosion to reduce self damage. He jumped through the dust and into a room. A room filled with guards. They all stood there staring at him, "Block the exit!" one of them shouted. The guards huddled around the door, keeping the assassin from escaping. Ezio threw one of his weaker explosive bombs at them, to reduce damage and death. All the guards flew away from the door and Ezio charged through it. Dust from the weak explosion made it hard to see anything, once it cleared, his eyes widened to what he saw down the hallway. He immediately began sprinting the other way. "SEIZE HIM!" He heard Celestia's voice boom through the castle. (Play This Requested Song) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qjjqh2-LOo&nomobile=1) As Ezio ran away from the ponies, he remembered where he first came from, the tower's balcony. "Don't worry princess! I'll catch him!" he heard the cyan pegasus 'Rainbow Dash' echo from behind. He immediately took a left turn and started running towards the larger hallway. The shouting of guards can be heard off in the distance, "Cut him off!" yelled one from behind him. He took a right and a blockade of guards stood in the way, holding spears that came out of nowhere. The spears weren't deadly of course, they were made from magic, designed to paralyze the target. It would sting a little. Ezio chuckled silently, he ran full-speed at the guards and jumped, the spears raised while he fell to the floor and slid under them. They dropped the spears from their mouths and started chasing the assassin. Ahead of him, he saw the wooden door that led to the tower. A blue light shot over his head, taking a quick look back, he saw two unicorns that were shooting the spell they used on him earlier, the 'Paralyzation' spell. Another blockade of guards appeared, this time they were unicorns with a blue magical barrier. He could see through the barrier, but could not pass it. Several guards from behind managed to catch up. He was surrounded. The barrier had disappeared, Ezio saw his chance, and pulled out a smoke bomb, "Catch." he said while throwing it to a guard. The guard was dumbfounded until it exploded, grey smoke appeared everywhere within the area, and once it cleared, the assassin was ahead of them. "Follow him!" a guard shouted. Ezio ran, turned left, and continued. The guards managed to catch up, and Ezio saw his exit. He stopped, turned to his right, and bursted through the door. Ezio ascended the spiral stairs with all his energy. "He went in there!" shouted one, "Excellent! He will have no escape!" shouted another. Thirty seconds later he heard the hoofsteps of several guards. He was gasping for air now, the only thing that mattered was escaping, and getting up these damn stairs. Rainbow Dash flew past all the guards in the hallway, flew through the door, and flew above the gaurds on the stairs. When Ezio finally made it to the balcony he grabbed onto the railing and began panting. "Damn I am getting old" he thought. Rainbow Dash made it to the top and saw Ezio at the balcony. "I got you now!" she shouted. "Wait! Ms. Rainbow Dash!" a guard shouted, "We need to capture him!" "Alright, fine..." she said in disappointment. "Subdue him." the captain ordered. "Yes sir!" a guard replied. The guard closed in on Ezio with a rope. Ezio faked an expression of defeat, and put his hands out. "Smart man..." the guard admitted. Ezio turned around and stood on the railing. (Stop Current Music and Play This) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m74UpHje12g&nomobile=1) "Stay back! Or I will jump!" Ezio threatened them. The guard stopped and looked at his superior, "Are you kidding? GET HIM!" The guard advanced towards Ezio. "Tsk tsk tsk..." Ezio spread his arms and fell backwards. "No!" The captain shouted. "Alright, I got this!" Rainbow Dash leaped off as well in diving position with her wings folded. Ezio's hood was being filled with wind and eventually fell back. He saw the pegasus tailing him, he spread his arms and legs so he could slow down. Dash flew past him without noticing. She opened her eyes and Ezio wasn't there, she looked above and saw him. She unfolded her wings and slowed down faster than Ezio. They were now side to side with each other. "Wait! I just want to talk to you!" Rainbow Dash said, Ezio ignored her and kept falling. "How are you going to land safely? You need a pegasi's help!" she shouted again. Ezio ignored her again, this time falling faster. The cliff the castle was on, was now behind them. "Need help? Ha!" Ezio shouted. "Why you little!" she shouted back and charged him, they both fell faster when she tackled him. "Let go!" Ezio protested. "No! You need my help!" she shouted. "I said. LET. GO!... Merda!(Shit!)" He accidentally elbowed her in the face and knocked her unconscious. He grabbed her and checked his large pouch. Two left. "Figlio di una cagna...(Son of a bitch...)" He grabbed one parachute (keeping it closed) and tied one rope around Rainbow Dash's waist, and the other at her chest, he then dropped the parachute and it opened within two seconds. The unconscious Rainbow Dash was now drifting towards Ponyville. Ezio pulled out his final parachute, opened it, and began descending more slowly. (Stop music) He began to approach the tree-line and released the ropes. He fell through a large amount of leaves, until he stopped. A tree branch had caught him, and wasn't going to let go of him. Ezio tried braking the branch, but it didn't. "What strange creature have I seen, that has arrived on the scene?" Another authors note: Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed in this chapter. It could've been less rushed, wouldn't you agree? On the bright side, the chapter is FINALLY finished. Nighty-Night. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: History and Memories //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: History and Memories "Wait for it..." An explosion followed by a scream came from outside the cave, "Haha! Success!" Discord looked over at Luna, who happened to be still tied up, and upside-down. "How's the head rush?" He said while walking towards her, magically spinning her around. Her face started turning green and her eyes started going in improper directions. Discord couldn't help but to chuckle. "We- I won't t-tell you anyt-thing." He picked her up and said, "You're really stubborn you know that?" She nodded slowly. He continued to the exit of the cave and stood on the cliff, "Look at it," He said while gesturing towards the land, "Soon it'll be all mine again." Discord noticed something near Canterlot, "What's this?" He said while dropping Luna. Binoculars appeared on his paw and he used it. A small black figure falling with the all too familiar element of loyalty, Rainbow Dash. Zooming in closer, he realized the figure was bipedal. Discord knew what this meant. "Looks like that's my cue." He grinned mischievously, "Luna, I'll be leaving again, don't destroy the cave while I'm gone." He turned back to Luna and saw her conjuring spells and launching them in random directions. "Side-effect of the read rush." Sighing to himself, he jumped off the cliff and flew towards the assassin. Ezio scanned the area for the source of the voice. After finding nothing, he closed his eyes for a quick second, and opened them. Everything he was now seeing was covered in blue and black. Now scanning the shadows, he noticed a faint blue light in the darkness. "Show yourself!" Ezio yelled. A cloaked pony covered in black and white stripes emerged from the shadows. Upon closer inspection, it was a zebra. The two remained silent for what seemed like hours. Ezio stared at the zebra while dangling from the tree upside-down. They inspected each other carefully, as if the other was going to attack. The zebra circled around the tree, inspecting the assassin from the ground. "Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to help me?" Ezio asked. The zebra raised a brow, "The only way to make the tree ease, is to simply ask it please." Ezio shot the zebra 'are you kidding me?' look, then back to the tree. "Does it look like the tree is going to help?" Ezio deadpanned for a second at 'tree'. The zebra snorted, "If you want stay that way, fine by me, but I do not care if you take your time to see." She trotted back into the darkness, leaving the assassin alone. Ezio thought for a moment and looked at the tree. "Uh, please?" Nothing happened. Sighing to himself, he looked at the tree again. "Please let go." He asked the tree. Nothing happened. "This was a waste of my ti-."He was cut short a soon as the branches' grip loosened, causing Ezio to fall... on his face. Mumbling to himself while getting up and brushing himself off, he followed the Zebras' tracks. While walking, he noticed she dropped an object, "Hey!" Ezio shouted, "You dropped your..." Taking a good look at it, he noticed it was one of the Masyaf keys or a memory holder. "What is this doing here?" He focused on the object, sudden memories that were not his began to mix with his own. Suddenly, he was greeted by a white flash. Celestia was trotting in her library, looking for a scroll. She glanced outside, it was getting late. Luna was supposed to raise the moon by now. "I guess I'll have to cover for tonight..." She thought to herself. She sighed to herself and continued searching. "Ah, there it is!" Using her magic to envelope the scroll in a golden aura, she looked at the symbol on it. She opened the scroll and turned to face the mane six. "Are you ready for the tale you are about to hear? Be warned; this is not a story for the soft ones." "Oh, okay." Fluttershy said softly and trotted away from the rest of the group. "Are you ready?" Celestia asked the others. They nodded in approval. "Then let us begin..." Altaïr made his way to the chair, slowly and fragilely. These were his last moments, and he intended to leave this world without fear. Moving his hand to the seat to be sure, he sat down and gazed at his surroundings. The library, now a vault, was filled with nothing except the artifact and the dust of age. "No one must know, not until the time has come..." Altaïr closed his eyes and exhaled, for the last time. Silence filled the room. Soon after, his skin turned into golden dust, falling off one by one quickly. The dust then retreated to the artifact, leaving nothing except the bones and clothes of Altaïr. Celestia stood on the balcony by herself. Her horn glowed a magnificent golden color, shining as bright as a star. The process of setting the sun was nearly complete. A single drop of sweat fell from her muzzle. The sun slowly descended until there was nothing but the pinkish colors of the sky. Soon after the sun set, a pure gold explosion came from the sunset. She closed her eyes and calmed her breath, then her horn glowed again, even brighter than the original. The moon can be seen in the distance. More sweat began to pour. Celestia grunted in effort to raise the moon, this was her first time raising it. Memories of her and Luna began to interfere with the process. "Must... Stay... Focused!" Her horn glowed brighter than ever and the moon was successfully raised. She collapsed and fell to the floor. The memories of her and Luna began to pour into her mind. A single tear fell from her face as she closed her eyes. Golden dust was being carried in the wind. The dust made its way into an open window whilst Celestia watched it in curiosity. The dust began to spread across the floor, painting everything in gold. Soon it covered the entire room. Celestia rose up and watched the dust. She walked to the wall and saw a clear reflection of herself. Seemingly out of nowhere, she saw Luna standing behind her in the reflection, smiling. Celestia quickly turned around in hopes to seeing Luna. She was only to met by dust forming itself into one spot. The dust receded from the walls and began to focus on one spot, the center of the room. The dust began to look like a figure lying down. Soon, the dust stopped moving and began to dim, revealing colors from the figure. "What is this?" Celestia spoke to herself. The dust was no longer glowing, and the form wore white clothing that was covered in dirt. Celestia approached it cautiously, careful not to awake it, even if it was dead. The figures' eyes opened widely, the he shot up and took an large amount of breath, scaring Celestia in the process. The figure looked around frantically and confused, having no idea where he was. His eyes rested upon Celestia, who was giving him a strange look. He stood up, finding he was slightly taller than her. He then fell on his left knee and his right fist on the floor. "I am prepared to receive judgement." "You mean to tell me there was another human?" Twilight asked, clearly taken aback by the scroll's saying. "Well, yes, but this human was found after I banished Nightmare Moon," Celestia replied. "And he and Ezio looked almost alike?" "They looked exactly alike." "How so?" Rarity asked. "Their clothing were the same, except Ezio's were black-" "Did he have a beard?" Pinkie chimed in. "No, but it seemed that-" "Why did go an' hurt the feller anyway? He ain't all that bad," Applejack spoke up. "Please understand, it was a necessary precaution-" "Necessary? I don't understand why hurting anypony is necessary..." Fluttershy spoke quietly. "Enough!" Celestia stomped a hoof, causing them to flinch. "Excuse me for my rude interruption, but if you will please remain quiet and allow me to explain then I would be happy to oblige." The girls remained seated and quiet. Celestia cleared her throat... Ezio tumbled backwards, mixed emotions ran through his system. "What was Altaïr doing here?" He stood up and brushed himself off, then pondered at his recent memory. This TRULY was a confusing thing, Altaïr was here before him, and a few centuries later Ezio follows his footsteps. His thoughts was interrupted shortly after being blinded by a quick, white flash. What stood before him was probably the most confusing and disgusting thing he had ever seen. "Hello~."
