In Which A New Pony Enters the World
1 - The Time of Appearing Out of Nowhere

Let me tell you about my first days. Boy, was it weird to see everything as the new pony. Kind of like a living hell, but heck, least it wasn't erasure or something. Being a new pony, it was hard to fit in. Especially for anypony who really doesn't stick to one place. I'm one of those ponies, you know?
So here I am. In 'The OC' as they called it, where thoughts and ideas come to life... or at least just thoughts about ponies. Every idea taking shape and then living it's life in one place. I wouldn't specifically call it one place seeing as one significantly changes from one to another. Still, it's one insane and dangerous place.
And there I was, a young unicorn colt with a white coat, a royal blue mane with a medium sized ponytail hanging from behind, eyes which were a shade of emerald green, a mark of a pencil behind a gem, all behind a 4 pointed star on the flank, wearing a yellow scarf, a dark grey beret and two black gloves with the finger cut for the forehooves... Just to be exact, they looked like gloves but I'm not quite sure of what they were exactly. Out of nowhere, I appeared in the train heading towards the /co/mpound.
Anyway... looking around, I found myself inside a vacant cabin with a comfortable bed on the left side and two chairs with a small table to the right. I walked towards the window of the cabin wondering why it was closed since I usually like the window open. I opened the window to be met by the foul smell of the /b/ay which was quite horrible, one way or another, almost indescribable since it's so terrible and it just made me want to puke my guts out. I instantly shut the window and headed towards the door in front of the cabin to grab a bottle of water to drink from a black saddlebag hanging on the door. Wait, a second... How did I know there was a saddlebag hanging there? Ugh... nevermind about that.
After drinking half of the water inside the bottle to relieve myself of the foul taste and smell of /b/ay, I checked what else was inside the bag. I took the bag to the table and took out it's contents. I was surprised to find a lot of things. In particular, a mixing board, a graphics tablet, a writers book, a laptop and a condenser mic. Ponies said to me that they usually have one or two things with them when they came, but not for me, I got everything for making anything regarding to digital multimedia. I dug deeper and I found a weird checklist... A very very weird one, a list of doing the things to get me started. I mean do ponies even have a checklist when the came to the OC? Probably not.
I picked up the list and read it... it read:
Things needed for survival:
- Get off the train
- Find something to eat
- Find a home to live in
- Find a job
- Make friends along the way
- Be creative
Welp... I think most of those are really obvious, especially if you're new around these parts. I peered out the window to check the distance between the train and my destination. It didn't seem to be in sight... perhaps it was invisible, or else I was on a train ride with infinite tracks... nah, impossible. I couldn’t be on a train on an endless journey right? Right? Umm... how about we go back to the things I had. I looked back towards the table and I realised that I suddenly had a copy of Equestria Daily on the table with it's ever updating ‘News of the Day’, and 3 pictures of ponies; A yellow colt with a reporter’s hat, a beige colored unicorn mare with two ponytails and green glasses, an... umm... wasn't that picture a unicorn before? Nevermind, a grey ear-... pegasus colt with a striped mane colored blue and black. The last of the 3 pictures was certainly weird... It seemed to keep changing from time to time I guess. I wonder what the pictures were for anyway.
With basically nothing to do, I went to get my laptop. I booted it up and I was greeted by a loading screen that looks like Vinyl Scratch. After a minute or so, I noticed I was working on something. A song to be exact, but I hadn’t remembered that I was working on something before. Judging by the time I got here, it's a complete mystery. However, for some reason I knew what I was doing and continued it for the whole day, though while working, I couldn't help but notice that I never stuck to one thing. I mean, I was there composing music and then I was writing stories on the laptop. Funny.
After finishing everything I needed to do in the cabin, I got curious about the other parts of the train, and I wanted to see if there was anyone I could talk to. I pulled my scarf up over my muzzle and then proceeded to the next carriage. Weirdly... it seemed to be empty. And by empty, I mean totally empty. No chairs, no people, no anything, but for the walls, windows, floors, the door to where I was standing and the door in front of me. I tried to see the other rooms and it seemed that every room was empty and that I was all by myself. I went back to my room and slept instead, since it was starting to get boring.
Welcome to the /co/mpound! Where artist, ficwriters and other ponies get to play out their own stories and wonders. Please be on your best behavior. The mods will be watching your every move. TL:DR - Don't be an asshole.
I opened my eyes, but shut them immediately because the light was too bright. Hearing a robotic voice at the back of my head, I rubbed my eyes a bit and started to open them slowly; Squinting, waiting for my eyes to adjust. When my eyes were back to normal, I looked out of the window to see the train station already there in my sight. I got off the bed, made it, grabbed my saddlebag and left the carriage. I leapt off the train and checked to see if I looked alright. I looked fine, so I checked out the train behind me but it had disappeared. It wasn't there at all.
I freaked out a little, since it made me feel creeped out that I had emerged from a freaking ghost train. Anyway, I looked around the perimeter to see quite a sight; A lot of strange and weird ponies coming and going, busy streets with several divisions here and there. I didn't come to do some sightseeing, you know? Hearing the gurgling in my stomach, I realised that I needed something to eat.
