En route to Alderann to seek out and find those that the Jedi Apprentice Jaesa Wilsaam holds dear, Darth Bara's apprentice and his followers are intercepted by a Jedi Taskforce lead by Nomann Karr. In the heat of battle, they make a blind jump, sending them hurtling to an unknown destination somewhere in the galaxy…

Meanwhile, on a small blue and green planet, in a system not known to either the Republic or Empire, two creatures sit upon a balcony overlooking a vast mountain city, their eyes looking skyward as they bask in the beauty of the night. Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle's stargazing is interrupted however when a strange shooting star careens over the fair city of Canterlot, crash landing miles and miles away in the heart of the Everfree forest. Luna, sensing that something powerful and possibly dangerous, tasks Twilight Sparkle and her friends to seek out this fallen star and to find out who…or what has come to Equestria…and if necessary, stop them from bringing harm to anypony.
