A great evil is slowly gaining power in Equestria and threatens to break out of it's prison before the Elements of Harmony are strong enough to vanquish it. Celestia has chosen three champions to insure the elements can survive long enough to vanquish this foe:

Blitzkrieg, a young, socially-awkward earth pony engineer. His methods are very strange, and usually dangerous, but his results are breath-taking. He has an appetite for saving others, but often overlooks his own safety.

Cypher Nighttail, a rage-fueled dragon hunter that wields the legendary enchanted sword Hemata Cayosin. As an amethyst dragon, his scales have a higher resistance to magic than other dragons, and he lacks wings. His deep-seated hatred for dragons has ironically set forth a chain of events that will lead up to the return of the Zezhuanth Pliso, the Dragon God of Destruction.

Crimson Steel, Blitzkrieg's older brother and elite royal guard. Lost the position of Captain due to an injury, but still serves the guard. Goes AWOL during an assassination attempt on Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, reappears suddenly a few months later in the Everfree Forest with no recollection of what happened or who he is.



Super original right? Well, read it or don't, I'm doing this for fun. It's not like I'm getting paid for this. :P

The events in this story will intertwine with lunarstallion's 'The Dance of darkness'. That being said, this is not a sequel, it's more like a different part of the same story.
This is also my first story, so don't expect too much.
While I am doing this for fun, I'd like be at least semi-decent at this so critics are welcome!
