Dominatrix Java
First Date?
Previous ChapterNext ChapterA few hours later Moon came back to the coffee shop hoping to catch Java as she was heading out. Luckily, Java had just walked out the shop to go take a walk. "Hey Java. I was wondering if you were doing anything important now or later" he said nervously while looking at the ground and moving his hoof around in a circle in the dirt not knowing if she would accept his request when he got around to asking it.
"No I'm not needed for anything for the rest of the day. Why do you ask?" she looked at him, curious as to why he wanted to know such a thing.
"Well I was wondering if you'd like to go to dinner with me tonight...if that's alright with you" he asked hoping that she would agree to his sudden request.
She saw how nervous he seemed and thought it was kinda cute. "Sure, I'll take you up on your offer" she replied with a smile.
"Really!?" he looked at her with a huge smile.
Java chuckled a bit from seeing how happy the answer made him and nodded as proof. "Of course"
"Well then lets not waste any time" he grabs her hand and speed walks to one of the closer small restaurants. Upon having her hand grabbed so suddenly, Java began to blush from the firm grip which basically let her know that he was strong behind that seemingly scrawny exterior.
After a few minutes of 'drag and be dragged', they finally make it to the restaurant. Moon walks up to the host and upon seeing him, the host smiled and immediately knew what to do. He lead the two to a special table that had a perfect view of the sun going down. The inside of the restaurant had was filled to the brim with Princess Luna decor. As soon as the two took in their seats, a waitress came over to greet them. "Welcome to the Lunalight Cafe. I'll be your waitress tonight. What would you like?" she asked taking out a little notepad after placing the silverware on the table wrapped in midnight blue napkins.
They both order water and a crescent moon salad with croutons. The waitress nods after writing their order down and walks to the kitchen to get their salads made. As Moon and Java wait for their order they decide to chat for a while about meaningless things, one of them being why the place was named 'Lunalight Cafe'. Moon answered that question by simply saying "This place is only open around the evening and night time which allows anypony who loves the night to come in and eat by moonlight...Luna's moonlight not me" he added chuckling a bit at the thought. After a couple of minutes their waitress came back with their water and salads. "Please don't hesitate to call me if you need me for anything else" she bows slightly and walks to another table of ponies.
They start to dig in and after a few bites of their salad Java decides to start up another conversation. "So Moon, you never told me what it is you do" she started with, curious as to what the zebra colored pegasus did for a living.
Moon, who was digging in to his salad stopped and swallowed the contents in his mouth then drank a little water just to be safe. "I make the video games, consoles and handheld devices everypony is playing" he replied with his signature smile plastered on his face.
Java was impressed, for a lack of a better word. "That's a big job, definitely something to be proud about. How long have you been in the profession?" she asked curiously while taking a sip from her glass of water.
"Since high school. My parents helped me get a store of my own made and since then I've been selling games and saving money. I'm kinda rich but not as rich as Filthy Rich of course and I don't like to flaunt my money around or buy fancy clothes like most rich ponies. Plus I donate a good amount of what I earn from my usual job and any freelance work I can find around town to any charity that needs it."
Java nodded and smiled from his response. "Well that sure was nice of them. I guess the question now is..." she looks over the rim of her glass as she takes a drink of water. "...are you happy with what you do?"
Moon smiled and nodded. "Very. I just wish there were others who were as passionate about it as I am. It's one thing to play them but its another thing to play them and actually understand the work that goes into them."
"Very true..it must be hard if I had to guess. Everypony loves them, but the appreciation to detail and wondering how it works are probably not on every gamer's mind. They're just fixated with blowing up stuff and getting the prize in the end." she replied with a wink.
Moon blushed not knowing he could have a conversation like this with someone so...intelligent. "At least somepony understands how it is." he said with a small smile.
"Of course, it's quite interesting to see how it's evolved over time, from just some pixels to multi-dimensional graphics that give more depth to the game and allow the player to get further into the world than before. Honestly I'm interested to see how much further it can progress." From her words alone anypony could tell that she was a lot brighter than she let on, behind those plain clothes and blue eyes.
Moon had no idea that there was such a intelligent mare...other than Twilight...living here in Ponyville. "You're really something else you know that. You wear plain clothes but you more intelligent than your clothes let on. This is the first time I've had a conversation like this with somepony who actually understands the complexities and progression of the tech behind video games."
"You have no idea. I truly enjoy intellectual conversing above anything else. It gets me excited and pumped. Gaming is just one of the many things I enjoy discussing."
Moon blushed heavily not realizing he would hear those words from a mare, let alone one who enjoyed talking about video games in an intellectual manner.
As they finished their meal Java speaks up and says "Well, that was delicious. Shall we continue this talk elsewhere? Perhaps during a walk to work off the food we ate?"
"Of course." he said as he finished off his water and salad then stood up and held his hand out. "Oh and don't worry about me paying. The restaurant owes me for helping their chef when the place was going down the tubes money-wise. Being a stallion whose parents teach you simple things like cooking your own meals as a colt really pays off in the future."
"Apparently, especially if you can call in favors to skip on payment." she replied with a slight chuckle as she stands up while wiping her mouth clean.
"I don't skip payment every time I come here. Just every once in a while and the owner doesn't mind since I always pay regardless. Just not today." he takes her hand while leaving a really generous tip and heads for the door. He thanks the host and waitress who served them, gave them a hug and left with Java to walk and talk underneath Luna's beautiful starry sky.
As they walked around the town aimlessly, Java was looking up at the sky. "Luna did a wonderful job tonight. I love looking up at the moon and trying to find what constellations she used"
Moon smiled at her. "You're right. It's sad that not many ponies can enjoy the hard work she puts into the night sky." At that moment Moon came up with an idea. "Maybe we can take a closer look if you want." he offered.
Java took his offer into consideration, looking at him and the sky. "Hmm...sure why not"
Like their first meeting, Moon wrapped his arms around her waist and flew upward towards the moon and the stars. Everything was dark surrounding them, aside from the moonlight as they grew closer. Java looks down, seeing the lights from the town beneath them now, which looked like stars now from their current altitude. " It's so beautiful!"
"With you up here, it's even more beautiful than it once was" he replied to her exclamation.
Java felt a blush creep up on her face which caused her to stare down for a moment. "Thanks...that made me smile. I'm glad you brought me up here, It's been amazing."
"I'm really glad that you feel that way Java." he said blushing a bit himself.
At that moment Java began to yawn. "Maybe you can fly me home now. It is getting a tad late don't you think."
"Yeah you're right." With that Moon turns towards town and makes his way to Java's shop. After a bit of flying and some more small talk they make it to the coffee shop. Moon lands and lets her go.
"Thank you for treating me to dinner Moon" she leaned in and kissed his cheek then walked inside.
Once she was out of sight Moon spread his wings and took off toward his store with a smile so wide he could probably hold the equestrian record for it. Java got upstairs to her room and went to her closet, pulled out a box that was expertly hidden and took out it's contents. "I think I'm going to enjoy my time with this one...I always wanted a new toy but I guess santa thought i was too...naughty" she said softly with a mischievous smirk and giggle then looked out the window to see Moon passing by. She blushed, cracking her whip one good time then put it away and headed off to bed with a smile hoping she'll see him again tomorrow.
