ch.1 The Struggle Within
Princess Luna    was standing watch    looking  over  Equestria   for she ruled it at  night       but still   they slept but this time  she was not angry  for   they    no longer  feared her.     “Yes  thanks to Twilight  Sparkle   they    no longer fear me”.    Suddenly  she heard a familiar  voice   “ Are you sure   cause you rule the night   they will always fear  us ,  and they should  after  all is that not the  reason for Nightmare Night “         Luna  looked  around   and saw no one   “Ha,  I am in your  head    and in your soul  !”      “No,  Twilight  and the others  freed me  how  can you  be here Nightmare Moon!”    exclaimed Luna    “Ha “, laughed Night Mare  Moon    “ We are one  and the same , you were nothing with out  me and still are  look sharing  power with that   light loving  sister of yours who hog s our glory !”   “ No  shut up  the reason we share  power is to keep  a  balance in Equestria and  will no let you  win   I am in control .“  said Luna       “Really  your self doubt and    fear,   give me strength and where would you be with out  me” replied     Nightmare Moon.   Luna   knew her evil alter ego was right,    she feared that  not all  of Equestria  loved her like they do her sister  Celestia , “may be but   I  can    find a way  to get  rid   of you    once and for  all” said  Luna        Nightmare Moon  in a haughty tone replied  “How  we  are one and the same ,  its  not possible. “      Luna  replied  “ I will find a way”  and off  she  ran  to the  Archives.
                         Luna  arrived  at  the  archives       “ you  can’t  with out me    you are  nothing “ laughed Nightmare Moon in a mocking tone.  Luna   looked    through  all the spell  books   and  found  one that   had a   spell for casting    the essence of evil away  from some pony .   Luna  in a hopeful tone said     “I hope  I can  pull this  off. “   Luna focused  her magic in her horn  and  began casting the spell    “ “ Nooo   you can’t get  rid of Me  you   are …” yelled  Night mare  moon  but Luna cut her off     “Yes without  you  I am  just Princess Luna  and  I will be free!”     Luna  could feel that dark feeling that she felt  leave her   and saw a  black  crystal  and said” That must be  Nightmare Moon’s essence  in there    at least   now    she is trapped  like  Discord now    and  I am  free from her !”     Luna said with  joy  and with that she   hurried   to  back to her post  so she could  meet her sister  so  she could  rest  and  let Celestia  watch  over  the day .
     But back at the  archives  the crystal  that  Nightmare Moon’s  essence was trapped  in   burst     and  fog  of black  smoke formed   “ Well looks  like   now  I can    bring  on that  Eternal Night    after  but   I  need a new body   one with  a suitable supply  of  Magic. “ said Nightmare   Moon  “And Luna  thought  she  could get rid of me so easily ,  Well  I  will   take of her   and Celestia once I am at full power and suitable host body.”   So the black mist that was the essence of  Nightmare Moon  drifted from the Archives  in Cantorlot  toward the  unsuspecting  ponies of Ponyville   and  Luna may have free herself but she  had  know idea what she has unleashed and what dose this  mean for Twilight and her friends   and will they be able to stop  Nightmare Moon  this  time   or will they fall only time will tell  and  which unlucky  pony has been chosen as the  vessel of  Nightmare Moon.
