chapter 1. diamond paws new wolf friend
“So what are we going to do today?" said Apple Bloom." ummm..... Well we already went swimming and played hind and go seek pony." Sweetie Belle said.
The two ponies were pacing back and forth. “I got it!" Yelled Scootaloo.
Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were surprised by the sudden yell that they bonked heads and fell to the ground. “Sorry" laughed Scootaloo.
The three ponies’ where laughing until Apple Bloom get up and asked" so you said you got it. So what do you think we should do for the rest of the day?"
“I think we should go to Applejacks and ask Diamond Paw how she got that wolf paw print on her flank if it isn’t part of her cutie mark. And see if Diamond Paw would tell us how she found a wolf puppy when she was little. I have been dyeing to know." said Scootaloo.
“Yea!" yelled Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle at the same time.
That made the three pony’s laugh again. “Come on. Ill race you guys" said Apple Bloom. The pony’s raced to Applejacks place laughing and playing all the way.
Diamond Paw was staying at Applejacks place for the mean time. While her new home was being built.
“Darling have ya'll seen kiba around? I was going to see if she wanted to go for a walk with us to see how your new place is coming along." said Applejack.
“Yea. She said something about going to go get Spike and head to Derpys and play with dinky." said Diamond Paw. “She really likes dinky huh?" said Applejack.
At that moment the cutie mark crusaders came crashing through the door scaring Applejack and Diamond Paw.
“What are yall doin? You scared us half to death. yall alright?" said Applejack. "Sorry" said the three pony’s. “It’s ok girls. So what are you three up to? Asked Diamond Paw.
“Well we wanted to know how you got that wolf paw print on your flank if it isn’t part of your cutie mark." said Scootaloo
."Yea and how you found kiba" said Apple Bloom." o? Well alright if you pony’s want to hear the story I would be more than happy to tell you." said Diamond Paw.
“It all started 3 years ago. My mother Diamond Star and I went out for a walk in the woods in Diamond City. Believe it or not my real name is Diamond Spear but my friends always call me Diamond Paw so I guess it just stuck with me. My family is the only ponies who call me Diamond Spear."
“Waa! Really? that’s so cool" said Sweetie Belle. “as I was saying" said Diamond Paw.
* “mama where are we going?" said diamond spear." we are just going for a walk. maybe we can find some of those ponyberrys you love so much sweetie." said diamond star." wow really!?" said diamond spear.
At that moment they heard discords evil laugh and a sound they have never heard before. Howl. The two ponies’ ran towards the sound and came upon a wolf lying on her side.
The wolf looks up and see’s the pony’s " please you have to help my baby." she said and pointed to a ball of white fuzz laying 5 feet away from her." I’m afraid I’m not going to make it. Please you have to help her. “begged the mother wolf." what’s wrong with you are you hurt? Is she alright?" said Diamond Star.
The sound of Discord laughing again made the mother wolf growl at the sound." please help her. Discord is trying to take her away from me. I don’t know why but you have to help." said the mother wolf.
Diamond spear walked towards the white ball of fuzz and lay next to it. “I’ll take care of your baby wolf. If you don’t mind." said Diamond spear.
Who then nuzzled the wolf and something strange happened. The mother wolf then despaired and turned into a big slue dust cloud.
The dust cloud started to float towards diamond spear. Diamond star jumped in front of her daughter and spread her wings out.
The cloud went around diamond star and surrounded diamond spear.
“You now have the senses of a wolf Young one. And you will now look after the wolf puppy for as long as you both live. She is yours to take care of and to keep safe. This paw print is mine and it will prove that you are the caretaker of this puppy and to show all wolves that you are the keeper of my puppy and her savor." said the blue cloud as it soaked in to the mind and spirit of Diamond Spear.
She looked at her flank and saw the mother wolfs paw print on her flank.* “as I grew older I earned my cutie mark, a spear of diamonds which circles the paw print" said Diamond paw.
"Wow" said the three little ponies that were now looking at diamonds cutie mark. “Now that is a cool story." said Scootaloo.
At that moment kiba came walking in the door with spike and dinky behind her
. “What are you guys talking about mama?" said kiba. “nothing hunny just how we met." said Diamond Paw.
“MAMA!?" said Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle at the same time. “Yea, she calls me mama at times" said diamond paw.
It’s getting late why doesn’t every one go home and sleep.
Tomorrow I can tell you the story of my friend Relmn star." said diamond paw." come on sugercubes. I’ll take ya’ll home." said Applejack.
As Applejack was taking Spike home she was thinking about Diamond Paws story.
When did this happen again? She thought to herself. Wondering how Discord was there. Oyea she said to herself. He brock out and played that mind game and when. Ok now I get it she said to herself.
While Spike was looking at her wondering if she was ok. “Well here we are Sugercube” said Applejack as she walked Spike up to the door. “Have a good night sweetie” she said as she clopped off.
