Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Oh Celestia I hope nopony notices I'm late!" He thought as he galloped into the building.
"Your late. Again." a young red mare said impatiently.
"W-what are you doing here?!"
"What do you mean what am I doing here?! You promised to show me the chemistry lab!" Red Blaze's voice was filled with frustration as she shot Blue a very angry look.
"Look I have a lot to get to get done today and I know I promised, but do you think I could show you around some other time?" Blue said trying his best to convince her. There was a bit of an awkward pause before she finally said
"Fine, but you have to promise to show me around next time!"
"Alright, alright I promise." He said relived that she agreed to leave. As he walk in his team of other ponies didn't notice him as he walked by. It was as he had hoped, they were all to busy to pay any attention to him. "Well I had better get started," he thought as he walked up to his station, he had been working on something to cure his nightmares and it was coming along nicely.
A couple hours later somepony's watch started beeping "Hey boss we're going to head out for lunch, do you want to come?" one of the workers asked.
"No that's fine I'll just stay here, but thanks for your offer." Blue said to the worker not even taking the time to turn around. He was alone now, but he didn't mind he preferred it that way. He was working the same way he had been for the last few hours, too deep in thought to notice anything around him. Then out of nowhere "AAAARGGG!" he yelled in pain as his head began to throb "W-what is this?" he said through gritted teeth as his pain became unbearable. A beaker he was floating in the air fell to the ground and shattered, his head hurt too much for him to focus on the magic he was using. The contents of the beaker spilled all over the floor and the fumes from the chemicals were making him lose conciseness as the liquid foamed. He collapsed as he saw the slender pony standing over him, watching him struggle. That was the the last thing he saw before passing out on the cold tile floor.
