Fluttershy was aware that she was not in her room and that there were other ponies with her yet she still rolled over and went back to sleep. Then she felt a shocking pain that originated from her lower back. She jumped off the cot that she was just sleeping on and rubbed away the drowsiness from her eyes. There was a stallion alicorn standing above her. “I said up boot. You know which way is up,” CPO Sun Stalker said. Fluttershy looked around and saw the other ponies that were sleeping getting up in the same fashion that she got up.CPO Sun Stalker standing above her yelled to the fillies and gentle colts in the group as a whole, “showers are aft! You will shower then you will double time it back here to get dressed. Then you will all go outside! NOW GET MOVIING!!!” The alicorn flicked a long stick of metal at Fluttershy, the stick sparked and Rainbow Dash moved as far away as she could from the thing. She herself wasn’t afraid of the thing, only little fillies were afraid, but her instinct told her to get as far away from it as possible. She and the rest of the fillies ran, it hurt to run but she ran anyway. She showered with the rest of the group and they all ran back to their bunks and got dressed. Then they all ran outside. Fluttershy looked around and saw that no one else was up at this time. The alicorn that she saw earlier was standing in the middle of the parade ground. “Organize into rows of fifteen,” the alicorn said. “Then we will start with floats. Count off to one hundred, begin!” They started with those and continued until the fillies couldn’t go anymore. After a moment of respite, CPO Sun Stalker yelled, “On your feet! We’re going for a little flight.” The flight turned out to be two miles. They flew past an air field, a flight command tower, and several barracks areas before they came to a building that was thirteen stories tall and had stair steps up to the door. There was a pony that was standing at the top of the stairs when the group of fillies got there. Fluttershy thought that it was a real pony but when she looked closer she saw that the pony had light trailing behind her and knew that the pony was and AI. She had seen AI’s before but never in pony. The AI motioned to the group, “Hello my name is Twilight Morning. And I am here to teach you. Come on in fillies.” Fluttershy and the others moaned and Twilight Morning simply said, “Or you could just continue your morning exercise.” Fluttershy flew as fast as she could up the steps.Once inside the little fillies learned about how an army of three hundred alicorns stopped an army of two million pegasi. Twilight Morning told them how the alicorns lasted three days while being outnumbered by millions of pegasi. “That is all for today fillies now it’s time for the playground,” Twilight Morning said wrapping up the days lesson. Finally, Fluttershy thought to herself, I can now just sit on a swing and think about what has happened to me in the last forty-eight hours. But when they got outside they saw CPO Sun Stalker, along with two dozen other alicorns with him. “Is it time for the playground already,” he said. “Fall in; it’s only a short run.” The run turned out to be three miles. When they made it to the playground; it wasn’t a normal playground that she knew. “Get into groups of three,” the alicorn said. The fillies all got into the groups. Rainbow Dash was with another filly and a gentle colt. “My name is White Mane,” the guy said. “I’m Rainbow Dash,” the girl said. Fluttershy just looked at them and said nothing.  She raised her hand. “Yes trainee 001?” CPO Sun Stalker asked Fluttershy. “What do we win?” “You win dinner,” CPO Sun Stalker said. “Tonight’s dinner is fried grass with leaves and for dessert, cake and ice cream.” There was a lot of “cool’s” and “yes’s from that. Then he said, “Where there is a winner there must be a loser. The last team to finish goes without food. Now get ready!” Fluttershy was hungry and she wasn’t going to let anyone stop her. “On my mark. Get set. MARK!” Fluttershy burst through the group of pegasi fillies and gentle colts lightning fast and flew as fast as she could through the maze of net traps, bullets. She made it to the bell rung it three times and went around to the finish line with a huge smile on her face. CPO Sun Stalker put a mark on the clip board he was holding. White Mane and Rainbow Dash got into some trouble as everypony bunched up at the end. They each rung the bell and crossed the finish line last. “All right everypony. Back to the chow hall and let’s chow down,” CPO Sun Stalker said, “All except team two.” He looked at Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and White Mane. “But I won…” Fluttershy started to say. “Get this,” CPO Sun Stalker said, “If you win at the expense of the team means that you lose.” Fluttershy flew in a stupor all the way back to the barracks, how could you win and still lose. She watched as the other pegasi stuff themselves with the food and then leave the chow hall with chocolate encrusting the corners of their mouths. The next day was the same, morning exercies in the morning the class until morning. Fluttershy avoided Rainbow Dash, and White Mane in the class. Then they ran back to the playground again. This time though, it was different. there were less ways to get to the bell and more dead ends. "Same teams as yesterday," CPO Sun Stalker said. Rainbow Dash and White Mane came up to Fluttershy. White Mane pushed her. Fluttershy's anger flared and she wanted to hit her back. "You better help us," Rainbow Dash said. "or I'll tackle you in mid air." "And I'll jump ontop of you," White Mane said. "Ok, just don't slow me down," Fluttershy said. She looked through the maze and saw a possible route straight to the bell. "Ok, see the small square on the left of the maze? It goes Straight to the bell. But to enter it would be impossible unless we go in at once sowe need we need somepony to hold it for us." "I'll do it," Rainbow Dash said. "I'm really fast and I love winning more than ever." "GO!" With that, Rinbow Dash shot forth faster than what Fluttershy had seen anypony do before. She got to there when Fluttershy and White Mane were only half way there. Onepony beat them. "Get out of my way," the gentle colt said. They caught up. White Mane pushed the gentle colt back, "Find another route pony." The group went in the door and flew as fast as they could to get to the bell. They got there first, and they each got to ring the bell; White Mane, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Then they flew back to the finish line. CPO Sun Stalker put checks on his clipboard. "We can be friends," White Mane said, "If you like."
