It was windy. Leaves flew past her hair as she trudged down the covered path that led to somewhere. Where was a mystery. No one cared about her. No one cared where she went. No one cared that she had just fallen about 56 miles out of the sky onto the cold hard ground and only survived by birds catching her in mid air and placing her on the ground, in which she still fell, but only 10 inches. She wasn't the type to stop moving for a pesky insects that bit her, she hardly even noticed as mosquitoes bit her arm to the point that is lost it's color. She still didn't stop. Nothing was felt at she trudged down the path, not even the numbness that fell over her body as she walked through blizzards, rain, the hottest of days, nor did she stop as hail beat on her head. She didn't know what else to do, she couldn't react to pain because then pain would react to her.

Finally, as the light of day barley shone through an opening in the trees that ended the dense forest she'd traveled in for an unknown period of time, perhaps years of just moving forward. She knew her journey was over, well half of it. Now she knew what she must survive.

Life.

She walked out and looked up at the sun, with a full glance for the first time. Then she saw the sign that read PonyVille. She knew now what her destiny was, and though she knew it involved these ponies, she would complete it. She walked in and ran into an tan pony with apples carted on her back. They were so obviously the same age of 6, so they exchanged glaces and nods. "What's your name?" the tan pony asked. "Fluttershy. What is yours?" she asked. "Applejack. See ya." the tan pony, Applejack, said with the voice that she was busy and did not want to talk further. Fluttershy allowed her too. She didn't care.

She continued to walk down the paved street. She finally took note of her surroundings: The streets were lined with ponies behind street vendors yelling out calls of sales and products. Multicolored ponies gathered around street vendors, bands playing for a dime or two, stores pulled out open signs and showed out products that all ages loved in their windows. Small ponies played with small toys that looked mostly like themselves, which were obviously the brand of My Little Pony dolls that all tiny girl ponies craved.  They had dolls that looked exactly like the ponies themselves, and new ones could be made for them at any time. That company tried to hard for fillies to like, for Fluttershy was hardly bothered by these tiny toys. Toys could only be played with so long before they broke. No company stole her heart. She saw many more ponies, but none of these ponies stopped to make talk with her, and soon she was on her way to a place she knew to be a home. A small wooden cabin was dolled up to make this home that was abandoned long after. She knew the place well, her grandmother lived near there, and pictures always had this house in the background. More media was posted in signs on a tree nearby, but this type was something that caught Fluttershy's eye Kinderponies perform a Play! Costumes by Rarity. Rarity... that name seemed familiar. Too familiar, kind of like seeing something you had seen before but didn't remember where or when or how. Like Fluttershy was with this name, which brought an image to her mind, an image of..diamonds. Lots of sparkly diamonds, she spoke softly to the butterflies that flew past "Who is Rarity?" the butterflies answered her, for Fluttershy had known her power to talk to animals long before now, for that was her cutie mark. "A pony of design, fashion arrive. Diamonds she must find, to make the performance spectacular." they said in a quite sing-songy voice. Fluttershy looked back at the poster Shown on Dec.6, at exactly 6:30! Don't miss it!!! Yeah, Fluttershy thought, I won't miss it.

Fluttershy walked to the KinderPony school, where ponies lined up. She saw exactly what the butterflies had meant, for all the children had diamond outfits on that sparkled in the already closing moonlight. For December it was reasonably warm, to blame for the weather ponies who missed a warm day in summer, so no one shivered in the pale light. Rarity smiled from behind the curtain, and Fluttershy could tell it was her. Rarity flipped her hair and again looked at her cutie mark, a move that she had done several times. She was obviously happy that she was now officially growing up, and that her cutie mark had appeared.

"You aren't to worry, only hurry" Fluttershy said, a quote from her Mother. She closed her eyes and felt again the power of her mother's words, as the were spoken. She spoke only with great emphasis and great joy, everything was an event! How Fluttershy would give her life to hear her say "Dear Fluttershy, do not worry, only hurry. Great ponies always started out horrible. They only grew better." one more time.

Rarity stopped smiling as though she had heard Fluttershy, then smiled again but less securely this time. As though, she had lost her warmness with Fluttershy's existence. "again I ruin everything." Fluttershy whispered, but this time Rarity did not falter her expression. Fluttershy tried to push it off as part of nervousness, but it would always haunt her. Forever.

The play began but Fluttershy heard not a word. Only Rarity's at the very end in response to the question "How did you make these spectacular dresses?" and Rarity's answer "Destiny."

"Pure. Destiny. In which I hurried, not worried." Rarity whispered as she trotted off.

Fluttershy smiled smugly and turned back to her abandoned home.
