In an alternate universe where Twilight failed her exam and never became Celestia's apprentice, Nightmare Moon's return was unimpeded and the world is now blanketed in everlasting shadow. The reluctant Twilight finds herself on a perilous journey through dungeons, traps, and hordes of monsters as she confronts both the minions of Nightmare Moon and her own failed destiny. Can Harmony be returned to the world?
