The being limped into the cave his hair matted to his face by rain and mud, his clothes soaked to the fiber. He limped further into the cave, the sound of his shoes hitting the cave floor were the only sounds the to be heard along with the torrents of rain outside. He limped more into the cave before his balance was lost and he fell to the cave's floor, face smacking against the floor with the impact. He took his hand his injured side to caress his injured face, a tear flowing down his grazed cheek.

The being lay still, one would mistake him for dead if not for his quavering breath
