Chapter 1: Campfire Stories
Scootaloo, Sweety Belle, and Apple Bloom, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, were sitting at a small campfire they recently made by their clubhouse telling spooky stories... “My turn!” said Scootaloo “This is the story of the Headless Horse…” “Didn’t Rainbah’dash tell us that story last campin’ trip Scoots?” interrupted Apple Bloom. “Yeah. So?” “Nothin’ too new…” “Whatever… Like you have a better one…” She mumbled... “Actually I do, thank ye’ very much!” Said Apple Bloom “There once was an old factory with a bunch of old noisy grinding machines, and boilers… And an old lady too… Her name was Old Miss Cheese” Scootaloo blurted. “Miss Cheese!? Her name was Miss Cheese!?” Apple Bloom barged in to Scootaloo’s dumb question. “Yes! Her name was cheese! Moving on!” “Anyway…” Apple Bloom said. “She was a mean old lady that hated little fillies, colts too… She disliked them so much that if they annoyed her… She would put them IN the grinding machines, then the boilers! And she would mash their meat into small portions and make sandwiches! Then she would either eat them, or sell them… And nopony knew… Nopony but Granny Smith…” “Wait!?” interrupted Scootaloo. “Granny Smith told you this!?” “Yep!, the old factory is still here too, way into the Everfree forest, it's said to be abandoned…” “I dare you to go explore it!” “Only if you guys come too…” “Okay! We’ll come!” Said Scootaloo and Sweety Belle. “Fine, meet at the Everfree forest entrance tomorrow at Eight Pm!”
