Equestria's Demise

It was a normal day in the Changelings' castle. The swarm was doing their normal jobs. Queen Chrysalis was still sulking over her brutal defeat when she tried to overtake Canterlot. She always thought she would have won and sucked all the love out of all Equestria, but she was beaten by the very thing she was trying to steal. Love had beaten her and she didn't like that at all. While she was getting shot away from Canterlot by the power of love she swore revenge on Twilight and all her friends and allies. She was remembering all the pain when she hit the floor, and the recovery time. Her back still hasn't fully recovered from the fall. She then proceeded to touched her back and felt where it hurt. Then suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by one of her changeling guards breaking through the door to her private chambers.

"My Queen you must come outside." He said

"What is it. I am not too happy for this kind of interruption right now." Chrysalis said "Unless this is important go away"

"But I think this might be important their is a black smog above the hills." The guard said

"Black smog? The last time that I saw black smog was about a thousand years ago." Chrysalis said "But that doesn't make sense King Sombra was the only one who could change into black smog that must mean he is back and that must also mean that the crystal empire is back with him."

Queen Chrysalis followed her guard outside and looked over to the hills and saw the black smog and it was moving in the opposite direction of where they stand. Queen Chrysalis turns to her guards and exclaims. "Go find some scouts and tell them to go over those hills, and tell them come back when they have discovered useful information." She said

Princess Cadence was launched like javelin by her husband Shining Armor. She flew straight toward Spike caught him and the Crystal Heart simaltaneously. All before King Sombra could reach the Crystal Heart. She then flew over the crowd of crystal ponies and landed on the fake crystal heart crushing it beneath her hooves. She then exclaimed to the crowd. "The crystal heart has returned, use the light of  love within you to ensure that King Sombra  does not." She placed the crystal heart upon the pedestal. Then the crystal ponies bow down and light filled the streets. Then all the power from the light on the streets were sucked into the crystal heart and shot an orb of magic reviving the crystal ponies also In the process killing King Sombra plus destroying his black crystal's and clearing the sky of its orange glow. The mane 6 looked down at themselves and saw their newly formed crystal skin.

The changeling scouts saw some ponies walking in their general direction they were trying to listen in on their conversation, but all they could get out of it was something about a test. So when the ponies get a little to close for comfort for the changeling scouts they decide to get out of their as fast as possible so they are not seen by them

The changeling scouts that were on recon hurried back to the Changeling castle to let Queen Chrysalis know of their findings. They explained to Queen Chrysalis that the Crystal Empire has been restored to its former glory. Because the Mane 6, Spike, Shining Armor and Princess Cadence saved it from being corrupted by King Sombra. Also they told her about the conversation that they overheard and the test that the mane 6 talked about. Queen Chrysalis went back inside into her private chambers and asked one of her guards outside her door to get one of her advisers. The guard goes to get Novaswift her head adviser and they work on a plan for getting revenge upon the Mane 6 and Celestia. This plan will be difficult, but she recalls an old legend of  a Lord of Chaos that ruled Equestria before Celestia and Luna. She also remembered where he is frozen now, in Canterlot Gardens. She would expect it to be heavily guarded so this would not be an easy task.

"I will have my revenge on the mane 6 not just for me, but for King Sombra as well. His death will not go unavenged." Chrysalis said. "Then again maybe Discord has some spell to bring Sombra back from utter destruction. Maybe we could reassemble pieces of his body that weren't utterly demolished." Queen Chrysalis made that as a mental note to ask Discord when she freed him from his imprisonment if she did.

"When will we go to Canterlot gardens to free Discord my Queen." Novaswift said.

"You will not come with me on this journey, I must do this alone." Chrysalis said.

"But my Queen-" Novaswift tried to say before he was cut off.

"No, the more of us there, the more chances of being caught by one of the guards." Chrysalis said.

"But I think it is wise that you don't go because aren't you still in pain." Novaswift reminded Chrysalis.

"I can handle the pain, and I will hear no more of this silly begging and pleading of me to stay." Chrysalis said. "Anymore of this and I would think you would have empathy sickness. We can't let you be court marshaled and executed for that now can we? This would be to my liking, but as you know, you are my best adviser."

"I am sorry your majesty" He replied quivering in fear from her threat

Chrysalis trotted past Novaswift and pushed past her guards and flew into the night sky toward Canterlot. She decided to change herself into Princess Luna. She was in her normal attire and her dark blue hair flowed in the wind as she flew. She soared above the clouds for hours, not even breaking a sweat. She landed on top of the west wing castle tower, and making as little sound as possible,trying not to get the attention of any of the guards making their rounds about the castle. Flying down from the tower, she landed on the walkway to the gardens. She walked past two guards at the entrance and smiled playfully thinking to herself "I will have my revenge."
