Equestria's Demise

The mane six arrived at Canterlot and saw that their was once again surrounded by a purple bubble of magic. Also the extra security was in their places again. It felt like the royal wedding all over again.

The mane six were escorted into the castle by two royal guards armed with spears. They had golden armor covering their bodies with a chest plate and a helmet. The red star on their chest plate meant they were both lieutenants. The escort must have been really important.

As they entered through the gate Celestia was sitting on her throne relieved that Twilight and her friends made it so quickly on such short notice. The six mares bowed as they entered the room.

"Aw Twilight thank you for showing up with your friends in such times of crisis." Celestia stated. "I thought something might of happened since Discord is out." Celestia said.

"How did he get out princess. I mean he was frozen into a block of stone." Twilight commented.

"Well that is why I called you here Twilight, to find out how he got out. That is why I said someone must have broken him out. Their is no way he could have done this on his own." Celestia commented.

"Do you have any idea who it is Princess?" Twilight questioned.

"Yes, but I fear the answer." Celestia said. "I suspect it is Queen Chrysalis my dear Twilight."

The answer made all six of their jaws hit the floor. "Why would Chysalis help Discord?" Twilight asked.

"My suspicions are as great as yours Twilight." Celestia said.

"Then what do we do Princess." Twilight commented.

"The things we can do wait, and defend Equestria." Celestia informed.

"Wait til I get my hands on Discord he is going to bleed after I am done with him." Rainbow dash bellowed.

"I don't think that violence is needed Dashie, maybe if we just became his friend he won't take over Equestria." Fluttershy said.

"Fluttershy you really think he can change?" Dash said.

"Fluttershy I am sure that he can't change, and he is potentially dangerous?" Celestia said with a straight face.

"Oh he can't be that bad." Fluttershy countered.

"Well let's just we are having two royal guard funerals next week, six guards won't be able to return to their post until six months from now, and one guard was put in the mental ward for night terrors and thoughts of suicide." Celestia argued.

"What he did all that?" Twilight said.

"Yes and I fear that he will be back." Celestia inquired.

"Why would he come back?" Twilight questioned.

"Because he will want to-" Celestia started saying before she was interrupted by one of her royal guards.

"Princess come quick Discord and Chrysalis are trying to break the magic barrier." The guard panicked.

"I thought the barrier was being regenerated hourly by Captain Hunt." Celestia responded.

"Well it is, but the barrier isn't as strong as the one Prince Armor conjured up." The guard said.

"Get into battle stations, I have a feeling this day won't end well." Celestia said with a worried, but calm expression.

"What about us princess." Twilight spoke up

"I need you to lead the evacuation out of the city for all stallions, mares, fillies and colts." Celestia said.

"No way are we leaving, Canterlot is in danger." Rainbow Dash said

Discord, Chrysalis, and the Changelings were all pretty much demolishing the barrier it was cracked in a bunch of places, but hasn't busted anywhere yet. Captain Hunt was trying his best to keep the barrier up renewing it every minute or so. It gave him horrible migraines, making his head feel like it would split in two any second. The Princess walks up to him, and puts a hoof on his shoulder. "You can stop, I don't want my Captain to die from magical exhaustion." Celestia said

"Are you crazy, what about Canterlot we won't be able to fight back this is the only way to keep them back." Captain Hunt said. "I don't want anyone to be hurt even if that means dying from magical exhaustion."

"I have called upon an evacuation on the city, and the elements of harmony are escorting them out of the city now." Celestia said.

"What about the city it will be torn apart?" Hunt questioned.

"I know, we will rebuild." Celestia said calmly

"But-" That was all Hunt could say before he was cut off.

"Let go." Celestia said in a more concerned tone.

"Okay men prepare for battle this will be a very long day." He said as he turned to his men. They all got ready with their spears to face the impending dangers. He then lets the barrier break and it shatters like glass then disappears.

"Hey Celestia its time to have that chat I promised a thousand years ago." Discord said charging Celestia.

"Yes this 'conversation' will be one for the books." Celestia prepared for the charging Discord, and saw Chrysalis head into a group of guards.
