//-------------------------------------------------------// An Unexpected Romance -by RainbowSparkles- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Just Stopping By //-------------------------------------------------------// Just Stopping By Twilight was furiously studying for a test she had the next day. Spike was out running errands, and usually she would enjoy the quiet. However, she just couldn’t find one book she needed and really wished her little assistant was here to help. “No, no, nonono!” As she dropped the books out of frustration, a knock came at the door. “Hey egghead open up!” She really hated that nickname Rainbow Dash had for her, but nevertheless, turned and opened the door with her magic. “Hey Dash, what’s up?” “Not a whole lot, just came back from Canterlot. The Wonderbolts were preforming there and it was so awesome!” Twilight giggled as Dash pulled out a photo of Spitfire. “I even got her to sign this. Isn’t that awesome!” “That’s great Dash!” Twilight looked up at the clock, knowing she should be studying. Dash, at the same time, reached into her saddlebag and pulled out a bottle. “Say Twilight, you wouldn’t happen to know anything about this. I bought it at a small shop outside of Canterlot. The Stallion called it the ‘Best you can get in Equestria.’” Twilight took the bottle with her magic and examined the dark glass bottle. “Changelings Delight. Huh, I’ve never heard of it” “Neither have I, I figured you’d know something about it.” Twilight took the bottle to the kitchen, opened it and poured some into a glass. “It’s too think for wine...” Twilight said, holding back a blush. “And it’s... white?” Said Dash, also holding back a small blush. Twilight examined it closely, smelling it. “Not much of a smell.” She said. “Well, only one thing to do!” Said Dash. Before Twilight could object, Rainbow Dash had drank the glassful, barely flinching. “Dash! Why did you drink that?!” “Calm down Twi, I feel fine! Wait, what did I drink?” “I have no idea!” Twilight said, though she was lying, Dash never noticed it. “You wanna try some Twi?” “Goodness no! I still don’t know what it is, and that name, ‘Changelings Delight’, it just doesn’t seem right.” “Oh well more for me!” Rainbow Dash grabbed the bottle from the counter and began to chug the liquid down. Twilight stood there shocked shortly, before she grabbed the bottle away from her. “Hey! I thought you said you didn’t want any!” “Well I sure don’t want you getting sick or worse!” Twilight took the bottle and turned it around, there were no other labels on it, but through the glass, she could tell something was written on the other side of the front label. She peeled it off with her magic and read it, almost dropping the bottle. “Made with pony love. Not the emotional kind.” Dash stood still for a moment before making gagging sounds. “You mean I just drank cum?!” Twilight had to silence a small giggle. “Hey, you’re the one who wanted to drink it, not me” Rainbow Dash continued to make gagging sounds, before she turned her attention to the bottle. She picked it up and looked at it. “Wow, 200 bits for some crap I could get for free anytime.” “What’d you say Dash?” “Nothing! Just that, it was a serious waste of bits.” “Definitely.” Twilight giggled, taking the half-full bottle from Dash and heading for the trash can. “Hey! What’re you doing?” “Well I’m sure you don’t want a bottle of, cum.” Dash flew to Twilight and took the bottle “Well, no, but...” Dash hesitated. “But what?” “If I paid 200 bits for this I am sure not going to waste it!” Dash began drinking it again, quickly being cut off by Twilight who took the bottle with her magic. “Dash, you’re going to be sick if you drink anymore!” Twilight examined the bottle, it being a little less than half-full. “Me however…” Twilight said softly. She brought the bottle to her lips and took a sip of it, losing it quickly to Dash’s grab. “Hey!” “Twilight, what are you doing?!” “Well, You said you didn’t want it wasted, and you’re going to get sick if you drink too much of that so…” Twilight felt a small blush creep to her face. “Yeah, well, you said you didn’t want any!” “I just don’t want you to be sick so I didn’t see any alternatives!” Twilight was yelling, but the blush on her face was growing and Rainbow Dash noticed. “Oh is that the only reason you drank it?” Dash said, moving closer to Twilight. Twilight could feel her face heating up. “Yes! That’s the only reason.” “Are you sure?” Dash said, now nose to nose with Twilight. Twilight couldn’t hold back anymore, she blushed furiously and covered her face with her hooves. “Ok no,” she said, mumbling behind her hooves “I may have wanted to try it again.” Twilight quickly stopped talking after letting that last word slip out by accident. Dash, who had been hovering, landed with an audible thud. “Wait so, you’ve had this before?” She asked puzzled. “Well, not like this.” Twilight was blushing a deep red as she pointed to the bottle. Rainbow Dash paused for a second before her eyes went wide “Twilight! I had no idea you did that!” Twilight stood their shaking and blushing, before she sighed and decided to tell Dash the story. “It only happened once, and I never went all the way. You see, when I was in Canterlot still, I was studying and stressing out for a test just like I was when you showed up. I decided to go for a walk for some reason, and I ran into a classmate. He noticed that I looked stressed, and after I told him what was happening, he invited me over for some ‘Stress relief’.” Rainbow Dash stood there with her mouth wide open. “So, what happened?” Twilight blushed more. “Well... we went to his house and… well I sucked him off. But after that, I backed out. I was way too nervous to do anything more.” “Have you talked to him since?” “Nope, we never talked since that day, though it did make for some awkward moments in school.” “Wow Twilight, I never would have thought…” “That I was such a bad pony right?” Twilight collapsed on the floor, hiding her face with her hooves. Rainbow Dash sat next to her, stroking her mane.” “No Twilight, I don’t think that. You’re not a bad pony” Twilight turned her head towards Dash. “I’m not?” “No. Everypony has the right to… experiment. It doesn’t mean you’re a bad pony.” Twilight sat up and hugged Rainbow Dash. “Thank you Dash” Rainbow Dash hugged back. “For what?” “For not judging me” Rainbow dash looked at Twilight. “I’d never judge you! Especially over things like that. I mean if I did what would that make me…” Rainbow Dash stopped talking quickly, realizing she said too much, she hoped Twilight would not figure it out. However, her hopes were dashed quickly. “What was that Dash?” Twilight said, in a curious tone. “What? Nothing. Nothing at all.” Dash said, a blush creeping to her face. “Oh no, you said if you judged me on my sexual experiences, that you’d be a hypocrite.” “I didn’t say that!” “You were about to.” Twilight smirked. “Tell me, Rainbow dash, what… experiences have you had?” Rainbow Dash blushed. Her eyes darted around the room, trying to think of some way to change the topic. Finally looking back at Twilight, she sighed in defeat. “Well… I may have… had my share in the past.” “Oh really? May I ask with who?” Twilight asked in a curious, yet almost cocky voice. “Well…” “Come on Dash, you can tell me. Your secret is safe.” Rainbow Dash blushed a darker red as she recalled. “There’s been a few stallions… and mares…” “Oh really? How many?” Rainbow dash blushed even more “I… I don’t remember. I’ve had so many I lost count. I’m pretty sure about half the pegasi in Cloudsdale have had their way with me though…” Rainbow Dash’s coat was nearly changing color to red from how much she was blushing. Twilight, however, was nearly stunned silent. “Wow, Dash. I never would have thought…” “Thought what?” Dash looked at her; Twilight knew if she wasn’t careful, she could really hurt Dash. “That… you’re so active! You must know a lot of ponies” “Yeah, I do… Mostly mares actually…” “Really?” Twilight felt a slight blush. “Yeah, most of the stallions I met were always so cocky and full of themselves. Most mares however, are a lot more into the time and it just feels better.” “I understand.” Twilight’s blush grew a bit more as she looked at Rainbow Dash. ‘Did she just admit she’s a fillyfooler?’ she thought. She kept looking at Dash. Her mane, windblown and all, was still quite nice, and her pink eyes just seemed to glow. Her cyan coat really did complement her athletic body nicely… “Twilight?” “Huh? Oh, yeah?” “Are you alright? You were kind of in a trance there.” “Oh, yeah I’m fine.” “Are you sure? Is there something you want to tell me?” Twilight’s head was getting mixed signals.  She could tell her how she felt, or just leave it at nothing. ‘I may not get another chance’ she thought. “Nope, I’m fine, I just,” Twilight looks at the clock, “Oh goodness! I need to get back to studying!” “Silly egghead!” Dash gave Twilight a small noogie. “Always has her head in the books.” Twilight pulled away from Dash. “I’m not an egghead! I am well read.” “Yeah yeah.” “Say Dash, could you help me out actually? Before you came over I was having a terrible time trying to find a book and since spike is out…” “Sure, no problem egghead!” Twilight rolled her eyes, knowing she’d never get her to stop calling her that. “What’s the name of it?” “Transformational Magic, 5th edition” Rainbow Dash started searching the shelves at breakneck speed, and Twilight couldn’t help but watch her. How her mane flowed as she flew, how she was powerful in the air, yet had complete control. ‘Snap out of it Twi!’ She thought. “Got it!” “Wow that was fast! Thanks!” “Anytime Twi. Anything else you need?” The thoughts running through her head were enough to make anypony hot under the bridle. “Nope, not really, unless you want to stay and help me study?” On any other day, Rainbow Dash wouldn’t be caught dead studying. Twilight knew this quite well, and that’s why she never asked. However, the fact that she asked that caught Dash’s attention. She knew she hated studying. Twilight had something else scheming in her head, and Dash wanted to know what. “Sure, why not.” Twilight was taken aback by this, but smiled nonetheless. ‘At least I get to spend more time with her’ she thought, before motioning Dash to her desk. //-------------------------------------------------------// Taking a break //-------------------------------------------------------// Taking a break After about 10 minutes, Rainbow Dash was already bored out of her mind. “Twiiiilight!” Twilight giggled “Yes Rainbow Dash?” “What do you need help with anyway? This is soo boring!” “Well, you can start by getting an apple from over there.” She motioned toward the kitchen. Dash went over, picked up an apple, and began to eat it. Twilight looked back at her “Rainbow Dash no! I need those!” “Oh, um, alright.” Rainbow Dash looked puzzled as she brought the bowl of apples over to her. “So, what do you need these for?” “Well, there’s a spell in here to turn an apple into an orange.” “Whoa cool! That could be used for a great prank on Applejack.” Twilight rolled her eyes before taking an apple and setting it on the desk. She concentrated on it as her magic enveloped it and it began to change color. “Come on, come on.” Twilight said, a small amount of sweat dripping from her head. The apple changed more, before her magic stopped and it changed completely back to an apple. “Phew, this is difficult.” Said Twilight. “Come on Twi, I’m sure you can get it!” Rainbow Dash said, patting her on the back. Twilight smiled at her, before she turned her gaze to the apple again. “Okay then. 1, 2...” “Hey Twilight!” “Ahh!” Startled, Twilight jumped, throwing her aim off as a beam of energy shot out and turned a nearby book into an orange. She looked over, seeing Spike standing at the door, looking toward the new orange. “Whoa, sorry about that Twi” Spike said as he carried in a bag filled with quills and scrolls. “That’s alright Spike, now I need to work on how to reverse this spell” Twilight flipped through the spell book. Rainbow dash put an arm around her “Twilight you egghead! Come on! It’s a nice day outside. Are you seriously gonna miss it just to change some apple into an orange? Twilight looked out the window; it was a very nice day outside. She looked at Rainbow Dash, who looked as bored as ever from being stuck inside. “I suppose a break wouldn’t hurt. Spike, can you clean up this mess and, try to find the spell to change that book back?” “No problem Twi, have fun!” Twilight smiled at her assistant. ‘I sure hope we do’ thought Twilight as she walked behind Rainbow dash, looking at her flank before quickly turning away, blushing slightly. “So what do you want to do Twi?” Asked Rainbow Dash. Twilight thought of plenty of answers to that question before her stomach grumbled. She looked at the sky, determining it to be around 2 o’clock. “Well I feel like getting some lunch.” “Sounds good to me, let’s go!” Rainbow dash sped off shortly, before going back and walking beside Twilight. “Sorry, I get kinda anxious when food is involved.” “Yeah, just a little.” Twilight said a bit sarcastically before nudging Rainbow Dash with her hoof. Twilight noticed how soft Rainbow Dash’s fur was. It had nearly the softness of a cloud, and she rubbed her hoof over Rainbow Dash’s side. Dash turned to her and gave her an odd look. “Um, Twi? What’re you doing?” “Huh?” She responded, almost as if she had been snapped out of a dream. She pulled her hoof away and blushed lightly. “Oh sorry, nothing just…” Twilight quickly tried to think of an excuse. “I just noticed how in shape you were” Twilight gave herself a mental facehoof. Rainbow Dash took this as a grand complement and flew up a few feet. “Well of course! The best flyer in all of Equestria has to stay in shape if she’s going to stay on her game!” She did a few circles in the air as Twilight watched. She wasn’t so fond of how much she bragged, but there was no doubting her skill. Twilight blinked. ‘Come on! Get a hold of yourself!’ she thought and shook her head. Rainbow Dash landed next to her and motioned in the way of the café. “Come on, last one there is a rusty horseshoe!” She galloped away, purposely slower than usual so twilight could keep up. Twilight however, galloped quickly past her. “Whoa, she’s got a bit of speed!” she said as she chased after her. They arrived at the café and ordered. Twilight getting her usual Daffodil and Daisy sandwich and Rainbow Dash getting a hay shake. “Is that all you want Dash?” “Yeah, I’m still a bit full from earlier…” she blushed slightly. “Oh yeah, right.” Twilight slowly ate as she looked at Rainbow Dash, watching her look at some of the other Pegasi moving clouds away. She blushed as she looked at her magenta eyes, realizing how great they looked. As she looked down and continued to eat, she contemplated a relationship with her. ‘I really need to stop this. I mean sure she’s cute and all, but we’re complete opposites.’ She looked back up at Rainbow Dash, who in turn, looked at her. Twilight gave her a small smile, which Rainbow Dash returned before continuing to cloud watch. Twilight finished her sandwich and looked at Rainbow Dash. “So what do you want to do?” Rainbow Dash thought for a minute before responding. “You wanna go see what Applejack’s up to? Maybe you could try your apple to orange spell again.” Twilight giggled, “You really want to see that hmm?” “Heck yeah! I can see her jaw dropping now!” “Well let’s go then.” They arrived at Sweet Apple Acres and knocked on the door of the house. No response came. “They must be out in the barn.” Twilight said. As they got to the barn, they found a note on the door. ‘Derpy, please put any mail we receive in the box in the barn. We had do go out of town for a few days to help out the harvest in Appleoosa.’ “Well this was a bust of a trip.” Rainbow Dash said, opening the barn door to see the box. “Huh, I’ve never really gotten the chance to look around since they put up the new one.” She said walking more into the barn. “Rainbow, I don’t think we should be snooping around other pony’s property while they’re not here.” Twilight said, following her in, sticking close to the door. “Come on Twi, I doubt Applejack will care. Besides, I’m not going to break anything.” She said right as she tripped over a bucket into some hay, more hay falling on top of her. Twilight turned on a light, and walked toward Rainbow Dash. She stopped when she got close, looking at her. She was stuck in the hay, wiggling around, her flank sticking out. Twilight blushed furiously as she looked at her. She was very fit. A very firm flank it was. It wasn’t until Rainbow Dash spoke before the trance Twilight was in was broken. “Uh, Twi, a little help here?” Rainbow Dash muttered from under the hay. “Oh, right!” Twilight considered using her magic, but instead grabbed Rainbow Dash’s rear hooves with hers and tugged her out. Rainbow Dash fell back out of the hay onto Twilight, her flank nearly on her face. She quickly got up and helped Twilight up. “Phew, thanks. Hay is heavier than it looks.” Twilight was blushing a deep red, and didn’t make eye contact with Rainbow Dash. “No problem, anytime!” Twilight managed to sputter out. Rainbow Dash looked at her curiously, as Twilight tried to get rid of the blush that had formed. She thought for a second before realizing how she was in the hay and the delay Twilight took to helping her. “Twilight, were you…” “What?” Twilight said nervously. “Were you staring at my flank?” Twilight looked around the barn for a distraction. “Me? What? Noo o-of course not!” Twilight nervously spoke. Rainbow Dash now blushed, knowing Twilight was lying, and she watched her as she continued to look for some change of subject. ‘She’s not bad for a pony’ she thought. ‘No no what am I thinking? No way could I ever go out with that egghead. My reputation would be ruined!’ Twilight spotted a chicken farther in the barn. “Chicken! Here chicken!” Rainbow Dash flew over to where Twilight was, trying not to laugh at the ridiculous spectacle unfolding. Twilight chasing a chicken around and around the barn, just so she wouldn’t have to face her. Then Rainbow looked at her flank. While definitely not as fit as her, she was much more in shape then she would have had expected for a pony who just sat around reading most days. ‘If she likes the merchandise,’ she thought ‘why not give her a sample?’ Rainbow Dash landed and stopped Twilight with her hoof. She felt a warmth filling her body. “What was that for Rainb…” Rainbow Dash cut Twilight off with a kiss. Twilight’s eyes went wide, and she blushed a deep red. Once Rainbow Dash broke the kiss, Twilight could barely form words. “Wha, you ju, and, I, what just happened?” “What do you think Twi?” Rainbow Dash said. A blush was on her face as well, not nearly as strong as Twilight’s. “I, you just kissed me!” “Yep!” Rainbow Dash said with an accomplished tone. “But why?” “Twilight please! You nearly rubbed me down in the middle of town. You were staring at my flank. I think we know why.” Twilight blushed. She didn’t realize she was so obvious. Yet a part of her was relieved that she knew. “So what does this mean?” Twilight asked. “Rainbow Dash took a step closer to her. “Whatever you want it to mean Twi.” Twilight blushed and, almost on cue, leaned in and kissed Rainbow Dash. Rainbow returned the kiss with a bit more passion this time, running her hoof through Twilight’s mane. 'Or maybe it wouldn't be so bad.' Rainbow thought. When the kiss broke, the two ponies shared the same blush, and the same smile. “That was great.” Twilight said softly. “Yeah it was.” Said Rainbow Dash. Twilight looked outside. The sun was setting and she was surprised how late it was. “I should head home, it’s getting late, and Spike is probably wondering where I am.” “Yeah, you probably should.” They walked out of the barn, both of them still blushing. “So, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow?” Said Rainbow Dash “Yeah, I suppose so.” Twilight said, almost giggling at the thought of seeing her again. “Goodnight Twilight.” “Goodnight Rainbow Dash.” They shared a kiss before they departed. Rainbow Dash flapped her wings, slowly lifting off the ground. Twilight held onto the kiss as long as she could. When it broke, each of them gave each other a smile before heading off toward their respective homes.
