The walk back to base was slow. The rain made the roads thick and muddy. Glenn could of swore something was following him. The drones would recon the area up ahead and come back. Glenn stopped, he could see the base two hundred meters

from his position but he couldnt shake the fact something was following him. Out of the bushes came out a grey and black maned pegasus. A drone shot the horse three times and made it drop to the ground, it continued to hover above it. "Hold your fire ." Glenn said pulling out his ka-bar and holding it at the pegasus's neck.

"What do you want?"

"You monsters killed my family."

"Family horse than, alright I see how it is."

"Its pony you dumb biped."

"Oh im sorry does it look like I give two fucks about what you are."

The pony stood up and came face to face with Glenn.

"You make me sick."

"You should really watch what you say to the guy who has the knife." He twirlled the ka-bar.

"I dont care I have nothing anymore."

"Sorry to hear that, but I suggest you go back where you came from." The pony pulled out a dagger. The drones hummed and shot the pegasus in the head spilling blood on the muddy ground. Glenn looked back at the base and started to jog.

-Meanwhile in Canterlot-

"Interesting story Sol." Celestia said.

"Thank you princess, I appreciate you for listening." Replied Veronica [Sol]

"So this brother of your's, Shadow your sure he's male?" Asked Luna.

"Yes I am pretty sure, why do you ask?"

"Well there isnt many males of the species, they are rare one could say."

"Hmm, just the luck of the bunch I guess."

"Where did you say he was at?" Celestia questioned.

"Last I'd checked he was some where out in the forest."

"Doing what exactly?"

"I dunno I dont get to see him much oftan anymore."

"I see, may you send him a letter to come to the castle?"

"Sure I will see what I can do."

Veronica magicly pulled out a letter and began to write. "Probably just send it somewhere random." She thought to herself. She looked back to Celestia who looked very nervous.

"Something the matter princess?" Sol asked.

"I am terrably sorry an alien species has attacked the town of ponyville." Replied Luna.

"Oh. My condolences." She was mentally screaming at the top of her lungs. "GOD DAMNIT!"

"Thank you, but I think we just might recover."

Silence filled the chamber they were sitting in. Except for a couple coughs here and there.

"Well I must be off to bed, I will search for my brother tomarrow."

"Alright then good night Sol."

Sol exited the chambers which left time for Luna to think. "Odd how something bad happens and there are not only one alicorn, but two." She nuzzled her sister's cheek. "Come sister off to bed." Celestia smiled and headed out the door.

Glenn ran the rest of the way to the main gates. The flood lights aluminated the gate. The drones flew off to the right.  Two marines ran up to greet Glenn and thay held him in their arms. Glenn was exhausted. "Get me.....some.....water." The marines carried him to a tent and sat him in a chair. They came back  two seconds later with a canteen and gave it to Glenn. "Sip it okay?" Glenn didnt pay attention and started to chug it letting the water fall out of his mouth. He used the rest to pour ontop of his head getting out all the sweat and dirt.

"Thanks corpral."

"No biggie sarge, just sit down and cool your jets." Glenn nodded as he leaned back in his chair. The sound of rain tapped on the tent other than that he could hear boots splashing in the mud. Colonel Morris walked in "Damn Glenn how fuck did you get out?"

"A shit ton of luck sir."

"Glad to hear it."

"Did any one else make it sir?"

"So far just you and one squad."

"Damn that bad."

"Yeah but it doesnt end there."

"Enlighten me."

"Professor Veronica Brown wants you to pack up your stuff and be ready to go in thirty minutes."

"Wait I thought I had a week?"

"Me too son, me too."

Glenn stood up and walked out of the tent. The rain pelted him again as he strolled to his tent. He sat down in side his tent and started to scrape the half dried mud off his boots. He stood up and grabbed his duffle bag and placed his ghillie suit inside, then put his video recorder in. He took a look around to make sure he wasnt missing anything. He noticed a box in the corner. Opening it he found a whisky flask. He picked it up and put it back down. "Sorry not again." He walked back outside and it was still raining. The sound of engines came over his head and touched down on the landing pad. It was a black V-23, stealth model. He ran up to the landing pad. The hatch opened and Veronica was standing there arms crossed. "Hey doc, whats up?" She slapped himm across the face.

"Ow what the hell was that for?"

"That town a mile away." She pointed in the general direction.

"Sorry doc feds would have shot me or something if I didnt go along."

She sighed. "Just get in, we have a long day tomarrow."

The cabin was filled with a bright white light. The door sealed shut making it virtually silent in side the cabin. Every thing was white, the seats, the door and the walls were white.

"So doc what is it that you had to pull me out so early for?"

"My expieriment, oh and dont get used to calling me doc, you are my new brother 'Shadow' and mine is Sol."

"Alright........sis."

She gave him an angry stare.

"Not funny sergeant."

"Shadow."

The white light turned red and pilot shouted. "We have a bogie inbound!"

Veronica shouted. "Dont engage!"

"Yes ma'am."

A crew man opened the gun door and looked out. "Nothings out there! umph." He was knocked back by a pony in a blue jump suit with a couple yellow bolts. It took a fighting stance. The light turned from red to white in a flash distracting the pony. Glenn lunged at it and knocking it to the ground. "Hey let go of me you alien freak!" The pony said in a fake commanding voice. Glenn flipped the pegasus over and took the hand bands that were used as hoof cuffs at this point and tied them to the pony. He then proceded to drag her along the deck and put her in a corner. "Dont move unless you dont know whats good for you." he said pointing at her face. The crew man closed the gun door and sat back down and flipped off the pony. She returned the favor by sticking out her tounge. "Want me to cut that off?" Glenn said pulling out his ka-bar. She sucked her tounge back in. "Enough sergeant I just had this bird cleaned I dont want any blood shed in it." Glenn re-sheathed his knife and sat back down.

The pony looked at Veronica. "Thank you."

"Dont mention it."

The pony kept looking around which made Glenn and the crew man very uneasy.

"So what is this thing?"

"It is a V-23 orbital drop ship sweat heart."

"Doc dont encourage it."

"So what is your purpose here?"

"To observe."

"well it didnt look like observing in ponyville."

"I know, I am truley sorry for that."

"So are you the leader or something?"

"Of the bafoons on this ship, yes." She giggled just a bit.

"Alright so what are you two supposed to be?" She got menacing stares from Glenn and the crew man.

"They dont talk much do they?"

"nope."

"Well my name is Spitfire, whats your's?"

"Sorry cant let you know anything else but unclassified information."

Glenn spoke up. "So what is it you do Fire spit?"

"Its Spitfire, and I'm captain of the wonder bolts."

"Sounds gay." Said the crew man.

"It is not, my boys probably woop your's any day."

Glenn and the crew man exchanged glances and then laughed.

"Yeah says your pals who exploded." Her facial features dropped.

"And that's coming from one of the drop ships, you would hate it if our jets went head to head with you." She shrunk back in the corner.

"Sergeant, gunny, stow it. I dont want to hear your voices."

"Yes ma'am." they replied.

Moments later the drop ship touched down in the middle of a forest. Glenn stepped outside and looked to his right. A bunch of cube portable homes were connected together. Glenn walked back inside the ship and picked up the prisoner.

"Hey doc do you have a spare room or something?"

"Yes far right back room." Glenn walked inside the home. First section had a table and refridgerator. The second section had two pale green tubes, that looked like a tanning saloon would use. The third section had the rooms and he turned right and opened the door. He placed Spitfire on the bed and closed the door shut. Glenn walked back into the second section and Veronica was standing there.

"Alright sergeant strip out of your clothes and place these on." She tossed him a pair of black silk underwear.

Glenn slipped in to the underwear and headed back over to Veronica who had done the same thing.

"Avert your eye's sergeant."

"Sorry ma'am."

She opened the tubes and motioned Glenn to get inside his. He laid down and the tube sealed shut. Glenn felt tired as he fell asleep. Next thing he knew was that he was inside a cave and had a white with blonde mane and tail alicorn standing over him. "Lets go sergeant."
