My name is Mellow and this is my first story! I hope you enjoy it! Chapter 1: The night it all started. It was near midnight and I had just gotten out of the club. I was hired to be the DJ there for the night I gladly accepted knowing that I could show off some of my skills. When I got to my car I started the engine and began to drive down the road. Just as I hit the main road it began to storm. “Great… just great… Thanks for the heads up weather channel!” I said as the rain began to cover my windshields. I continued to drive down the street when a flash of lighting appeared and I saw a figure pop out of nowhere and disappeared just as fast as it appeared. I swerved off the road a bit and took a moment to think about what had just happened. ‘Ok… So it begins raining randomly with no heads up from the weather station, Then there’s lightning that brings a random figure into existence and it runs off… This is going to be a long night.’ I started up my car and tried to get back on the road but the car wouldn’t move. I kept trying and trying to get it to move but nothing happened. Then out of nowhere another lightning strikes and hits a tree. After that the tree fell on the car and hit me. I managed to get out but I was badly hurt. I heard someone’s voice yelling out to me. “Hello! Are you alright down there?” I tried to see who it was but I couldn’t tell my vision was to blurry. From what I could see it was someone who was hunched over. I tried to make my way over there but I blacked out before I could make it there. The last thing I saw was a purple horse asking me if I was alright. ****************** ‘Guh… Where am I?’ Was the first thought in my head. I tried to open my eyes but was quickly blinded by a bright light. “What do you think it is?” Said a soft voice. “ I don’t know exactly. But what I’m wondering is if it’s a he or she.” Said a second voice this one a bit familiar. “ I don’t know twi but maybe we should find out.” Said a third voice this one a bit more sporty. ‘Twi? Where have I heard that name before…’ “Good idea Rainbow.” ‘Rainbow? I know I’ve heard that name somewhere.’ “Well let’s get it’s clothes off and check!” Said a more civilized voice. ‘Oh hells no. If they put one hand anywhere near me I’m making a dash for it.’ “Alright.” Said the voice labeled twi as she leaned in to pull off my pants. The second she touched my leg I jumped out and screamed. “NO! YOU WILL NOT TAKE OFF MY CLOTHES!” Sadly I hit my head on something and blacked out again. Last thing I heard was six screams of surprise all at the same time. “What is that thing twi? And why does it care so much for those dreadful clothes?” Said the civilized voice. “I’m not entirely sure what it is but I think it was just trying to protect itself.” Said twi. “Make’s sence if you ask me.” Said Rainbow. “Maybe we should just let it rest for a bit and ask it some questions.” Said the soft voice. “That’s a good idea Fluttershy. Alright let’s do wait in the waiting room for a bit and check up on it later.” Said twilight. ****************** I was dreaming. I was dreaming of running. Running from what? I couldn’t tell… It just looked like a black shadowy figure that didn’t stop chasing me. It had an evil grin on it the entire time. The dream just went on like that until I tripped over a rock. That’s when I woke up in a slight panick. “Look! It’s awake!” Said a voice filled with enthusiasm. ‘That voice was too familiar.’ “Pinkie calm down!” Said the voice of twi. “Oops. Sorry!” Said the voice now labeled Pinkie. ‘Alright this was all too familiar… All these names and voices… It sounds just like the characters from Friendship is Magic.’ I opened my eyes and blinked a bit so they would adjust. When they did what I saw nearly made faint again. Standing in front of me were 6 ponies. ‘Ponies… That declares it. I have officially lost all my sanity. And I am in a mental hospital.’ “Hi! My name is Twilight Sparkle! And these are my friends, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie.” ‘No.Fucking.Way.’ “Hello?” Asked twilight. I was in a state of pure shock. I couldn’t move or do anything. “HELLO!?” “Wah. Where am I? How did I get here and why are there talking horse’s standing in front of me!?” “You are in the Ponyville medical centre. I brought you here because you where very badly wounded. And we are ponies not horse’s.” Said Twilight. ‘Wait… Ponyville hospital… Twilight sparkle… Ponies… Mother of god. This can’t be real. I’m actually here. In the land of Friendship is Magic… This is gonna be a very VERY long day…’ “Now that you have asked your questions I have a few for you.” Said Twilight. “Uhh… Alright. I suppose that’s fair.” I said wondering what possible questions she could have.” “Alright my first question is what exactly are you?” “I’m a Human. A life form from the planet Earth. I guess you could say I’m a bit like you being the fact that I’m the main sentient species on earth.” “Hmm. Interesting…” I kept answering her questions for what felt like hours. When finally her final question came. “That’s really interesting. I do have one question left to ask.” She said as she began to blush a bit. “Alright go ahead and ask.” I said with just a hint of doubt in my mind. “Are you a Male or Female?” She asked her face getting redder. “I’m a Male of course!” I said which seemed to calm her a little but she was still blushing. “Alright. Oh! I never asked your name?” Twilight asked “Right. My name is Tim James. But you can call me TJ.” I said. “Alright nice to meet you TJ! I’ll just let you rest for a while.” Said twilight as she walked out the door. ‘Alright. I can tell this is going to end up being one hell of an adventure.’ Alright that’s the end of the chapter! I never catch a break he’s always after me in a nonstop chase for my life. Sometimes he disappears but not for long as he reappears in front of me just as fast as he vanished. He never catches me but I never stop running. I will never escape the dark entity. The only time I have away from him is when I’m awake. But even then I can still hear him in the back of my head. I normally drown him with other thought which seems to work most of the time. I woke up being immediately blinded by the bright lights of the hospital ceiling. ‘That’s right… I’m in a hospital. Filled with ponies…’ I thought to myself. ‘Alright so let’s just recap what happened. I was on my way home when “HE” appeared out of nowhere. Then I crashed and heard twilight asking if I was alright. Next thing I know I’m in a hospital full of ponies that can talk. Yep normal day for me!’ I thought prepared to facepalm myself but restricted by the blanket. “Oh! You’re awake.” Said Fluttershy. “It would appear so.” I said with a slight You don’t say! face on. “I came to see if you where feeling alright after what I heard about you being injured. When I heard you screaming a bit about running forever in your sleep so I tried to calm you down, and when you did I wanted to stay here in case you did it again.” ‘Hmm… It must have been those nightmares again.’ “Listen… Fluttershy is it? Listen I’m fine I just get nightmares sometimes nothing supernatural.” I said trying to comfort her. “Alright… I’ll just go tell Twilight that you’re awake. She has some plans for you today.” Fluttershy said as she walked out the door. ‘Plans? What kind of plans could she have for me?’ Just as I finished that thought the door opened and in came Twilight. “Good morning TJ!” Twilight said as she came over to the bed. “Uh Good morning.” I said still thinking of what plans she could have. “I hope you’re feeling better today because I have a few things planned for us today!” She said enthusiastically. ‘Alright so they were right. Twilight does get over excited about things…’ “What kind of plans?” I asked nearly hesitating thinking of the possibilities. “Well first of all we need to get you something to eat!” Just as she said that as if on cue my stomach roared at me to get up and eat. “And it looks like it’s a perfect time too.” ‘Damnit stomach… You had to pick just then to do that?’ “I suppose so.” I said. ‘I am going to regret this I can just tell…’ Twilight helped me out of bed with the use of her magic and we started out the door towards the library. On the way there I got stares from some of the town locals it bugged me a bit but I managed through. Once we got to the library I noticed something funny. There was a shaking lump under a blanket. I decided to approach it to investigate. May not of been my best decision ever… Right when I touched the blanket a purple figure of some sort was attached to my face. ‘GAH! WHAT THE FUCK IS ON MY FACE!’ I screamed in my head as I ran around frantically until I ran into a wall and fell over. On my back to find the purple figure was none other then Spike… When I looked over to Twilight all I saw was a purple blob on the floor laughing so hard her face was red. “It wasn’t that funny…” I said getting back to my feet. “Pfft. BWAHAHA Yes it was!” She said as I helped her back up. “Ok maybe it was…” I said with a slight smile on my face. After she calmed down a bit she took me to the kitchen and had me sit down at a table. The next thing I knew spike ran in screaming something about a monster attacking him when he froze mid sentence and stared at me. ‘This is my chance… Time for revenge!’ I thought with an evil grin on my face. “BOO!” I yelled as the baby dragon just fainted to the ground without another word. “HAHAHAHA.” I couldn’t hold in the laughter. It was hard not to when you see a baby dragon on the ground completely frozen with an arm sticking out. “I can tell you two are going to be good friends.” Twilight said with a smirk. “Anyways what exactly do humans eat?” ‘Shit. I forgot about that…’ “Well mostly eggs and pancakes.” I said with a hint of regret. “Alright just give me a minute to prepare it.” Twilight said as she started preparing the eggs. After we finished breakfast I noticed a draft near my leg. When I looked down I noticed my pants and shirt was torn a bit. Twilight noticed me looking down at my clothes. “Don’t worry Rarity will be able to fix you up some new clothes. We can head over there as soon as Spike regains consciousness.” She said giggling a bit. After a while we headed over towards Rarity’s house. On the way I kept getting stares by everyone. I decided to ignore it for now. When we finally got there Twilight knocked on the door and I heard a comical singing voice say “COOOOOMIIIIIING!”. ‘Does she realize she just sang like that?’ A few moments later Rarity opened the door and let me in. “Why hello there darling! What may I do for you today?” She asked as if she hadn’t noticed my clothes. All I did was point to my clothes and she replied with a “Oh my! What dreadful clothing! We simply must get you something more suitable!” After that she took some measurements and started working on some new clothes. While I waited I started talking to twilight about why I was here. She simply replied with a ‘I don’t know’ face and shrug. After what seemed like ages Rarity had finally finished my clothing. I had to admit it looked pretty good. It wasn’t anything special just a regular top and jeans. The shirt was pure black and the jeans where blue. It was all I really needed for now. I went into a changing room to put it on and when I came out Rarity said I looked “Dashing”. So we said goodbye to Rarity and made our way out the door. The second the door closed I looked forward to see “HIM” Staring straight at me eye to eye. Well that’s all for today! It’s getting late and It’s hard to type with my current keyboard. Oh yeah I’m fine it’s nothing.” I said hoping she wouldn’t tell I was lying. “Hmm… Alright well I have to go send a letter to the princess saying that you are here.” Twilight said with a look of questioning on her face. ‘Wait… Celestia? Oh no… This can NOT end up going well for me.’ “Alright I’ll just wonder around a bit and try to get familiar with the surroundings.” I said as twilight began walking towards the library. ‘Hmm… This whole place looks EXACTLY like the show depicted it. Well I guess I’ll just find a place to relax.’ I decided to go find a bench to sit down for a while and think about what was going on. When I found a bench I was just about to sit down when… “AHHHH!” Three voices screamed in unison. “What? What’s going on!? Is someone hurt?” I said looking for the screaming. I looked down to see none other than the Cutie Mark Crusaders. “MONSTER!!!” They yelled as they ran off screaming. ‘Okay… that was wierd’ I thought. I decided to sit on the bench for a bit so I could come up with some plans. I sat there for what felt like hours thinking of how I got here and how I might be able to get back home. I eventually decided to stop thinking about that for a bit and start thinking about why ‘HE’ was here. As I began to think about it I started to doze off. ***************************** BAM! I woke up to a loud noise in the kitchen. Curious of what it was I decided to get up and check it out. When I reached the kitchen nothing had changed everything was where it was when I went to bed. I went back up the stairs to my room. Once I was at the door I grabbed the door knob and immediately noticed something was off… ‘COLD!!!’ Was the only thought in my mind for a minute. ‘Why is this door so cold!?’ I decided to open the door to find out. Once I did I froze completely staring at what was in front of me. Directly in front of me was a dark shadowy figure that seemed to radiate black coldness. As we stared at each other an evil grin appeared on his face and lashed out in front of me aiming straight for my head. As he did this I simply blinked and he was gone never to be seen again. Or so I thought… ***************************** I woke up heart pounding a bit. I look around me to see I’m still in Ponyville on the same bench. Except there a few ponies around me just staring at me. ‘How long was I asleep for?’ I thought looking at the sun. I had fallen asleep near noon and it had to be somewhere around 3-4 right now. The ponies just kept staring at me as I began to sit up and look at the sun. I looked towards them wondering why they were staring at me. “Uh… Hi?” I asked. No one responded and I sat there for a minute in silence. “Why are you staring at me?” I finally asked. This time someone responded. “We all wanted to know what you are!” Said a voice somewhere in the middle of the crowd. “Uh… Well… I’m a human.” I said. “What’s a human?” Said another voice in the crowd. “Well… A human is kind of like you guys. We are sentient species of a planet called earth.” I said trying to explain what a human was. They continued asking questions and I answered a few of them. Eventually I decided to go visit twilight and see if she got a reply from the princess yet. I started walking towards the library. Which was a bit hard with all the ponies blocking the way. I finally made it out of the crowd and was almost at the library. When I reached the library I knocked on the door and went inside. What I saw was Twilight and Celestia talking to each other. What do you wish to talk about?” I said. “I wish to know about your planet and how you arrived here.” She said. “Well… My planet is one known as earth. It only has one sentient species which are humans like myself.” I said going on about Planet Earth. “As for how I got here I’m not entirely sure. The last thing that happened before my arrival here was I was driving home after a party when it began to storm. I went into a changing room to put it on and when I came out Rarity said I looked “Dashing”. So we said goodbye to Rarity and made our way out the door. The second the door closed I looked forward to see “HIM” Staring straight at me eye to eye. Well that’s all for today! It’s getting late and It’s hard to type with my current keyboard. The Shadow GodChapter 3: The Shadow God “TJ?” “…” “TJ!?” “Wha!? What’s going on? Where am I?” I said snapping out of my trance. ‘Oh right… I’m in the land of magical talking horses…’ “Are you alright? You just stood there for ten minutes.” Twilight said. “Huh? Oh yeah I’m fine it’s nothing.” I said hoping she wouldn’t tell I was lying. “Hmm… Alright well I have to go send a letter to the princess saying that you are here.” Twilight said with a look of questioning on her face. ‘Wait… Celestia? Oh no… This can NOT end up going well for me.’ “Alright I’ll just wonder around a bit and try to get familiar with the surroundings.” I said as twilight began walking towards the library. ‘Hmm… This whole place looks EXACTLY like the show depicted it. Well I guess I’ll just find a place to relax.’ I decided to go find a bench to sit down for a while and think about what was going on. When I found a bench I was just about to sit down when… “AHHHH!” Three voices screamed in unison. “What? What’s going on!? Is someone hurt?” I said looking for the screaming. I looked down to see none other than the Cutie Mark Crusaders. “MONSTER!!!” They yelled as they ran off screaming. ‘Okay… that was wierd’ I thought. I decided to sit on the bench for a bit so I could come up with some plans. I sat there for what felt like hours thinking of how I got here and how I might be able to get back home. I eventually decided to stop thinking about that for a bit and start thinking about why ‘HE’ was here. As I began to think about it I started to doze off. ***************************** BAM! I woke up to a loud noise in the kitchen. Curious of what it was I decided to get up and check it out. When I reached the kitchen nothing had changed everything was where it was when I went to bed. I went back up the stairs to my room. Once I was at the door I grabbed the door knob and immediately noticed something was off… ‘COLD!!!’ Was the only thought in my mind for a minute. ‘Why is this door so cold!?’ I decided to open the door to find out. Once I did I froze completely staring at what was in front of me. Directly in front of me was a dark shadowy figure that seemed to radiate black coldness. As we stared at each other an evil grin appeared on his face and lashed out in front of me aiming straight for my head. As he did this I simply blinked and he was gone never to be seen again. Or so I thought… ***************************** I woke up heart pounding a bit. I look around me to see I’m still in Ponyville on the same bench. Except there a few ponies around me just staring at me. ‘How long was I asleep for?’ I thought looking at the sun. I had fallen asleep near noon and it had to be somewhere around 3-4 right now. The ponies just kept staring at me as I began to sit up and look at the sun. I looked towards them wondering why they were staring at me. “Uh… Hi?” I asked. No one responded and I sat there for a minute in silence. “Why are you staring at me?” I finally asked. This time someone responded. “We all wanted to know what you are!” Said a voice somewhere in the middle of the crowd. “Uh… Well… I’m a human.” I said. “What’s a human?” Said another voice in the crowd. “Well… A human is kind of like you guys. We are sentient species of a planet called earth.” I said trying to explain what a human was. They continued asking questions and I answered a few of them. Eventually I decided to go visit twilight and see if she got a reply from the princess yet. I started walking towards the library. Which was a bit hard with all the ponies blocking the way. I finally made it out of the crowd and was almost at the library. When I reached the library I knocked on the door and went inside. What I saw was Twilight and Celestia talking to each other. They both immediately looked right at me. “So… You must be the new human here… Correct?” Celestia asked looking me over. “Uh… yeah that’s right.” I answered. ‘Okay… This is a little weird.’ I thought. “Hmm… We have much to talk about.” Celestia said after she finished looking me over. ‘This can’t be good…’ “Alright. What do you wish to talk about?” I said. “I wish to know about your planet and how you arrived here.” She said. “Well… My planet is one known as earth. It only has one sentient species which are humans like myself.” I said going on about Planet Earth. “As for how I got here I’m not entirely sure. The last thing that happened before my arrival here was I was driving home after a party when it began to storm. A flash of lightning appeared and I saw a dark shadowy figure run off towards some trees. Then I somehow crash into a tree. That’s when I heard Twilight call out for me and then I was in a hospital.” I explained to the princess. “Hmm… I see.” Celestia said after thinking for a few moments. “This shadowy figure you speak of. Have you seen it any other times besides then?” I froze there for a minute thinking about the question. “Well… I’ve seen him a few times back in my world as well as once in this world.” I said nervously. “I see…” She said. “We may be in grave danger then if what you say is true and the shadow god has been released.”
