Problems

Rainbow Dash grabs Pinkie quickly. They move through tunnels, a hint of light shines down from the exit. They start noticing that there is magic flying at them. Why did it have to be this way? Rainbow Dash asked herself.

“Dash…?” Pinkie said, with a tone of worry in her tone.

“No time to talk Pinkie, just keep moving your hooves.” Rainbow Dash said.

~Five months Earlier~

Rainbow Dash flies over Ponyville and looks down, spotting a pink mare and a lavender mare in the park. She dive bombs down there, hoping to give them the good news. When she arrived she didn’t see who she wanted to see. Instead the cutie marks were different. They just stare at her with question.

The pink mare quickly said “Why did you dive bomb down here?”

“Wrong pony.” Rainbow Dash said quickly, with a tone of laughter.

And then she heard it, the blood curling scream, no doubt that it came from her friend Twilight.

She runs into the Everfree forest. She arrives in a meadow, but it is too late. There is a knife in her friend’s head, with blood gushing out.

“No…” Rainbow Dash mutters, falling to her knees.

Shortly after her friends arrives, all gasping at what happened. Rainbow Dash is trying to calm them down, but they start accusing her of the murder. Shortly after many people arrive and hear that they are accusing her and join in. Only Pinkie Pie is standing there, staring at Rainbow Dash, believing that she didn’t hurt Twilight.

“I-I didn’t do it,” Rainbow said, “Ask them!” She pointed at the two ponies she accidentally met up with at the park, but they just shook their heads.

Rainbow then broke out into a sprint out, running away from them. Everyone pursued, but only Pinkie knew where she was going. Rainbow Dash flew up, knowing that no pony is faster than her. She kept playing that scene in her head, everypony accusing her. She started softly crying because of it.

“Why did this have to happen?” Rainbow Dash said, starting to cry more and more, until a river flowed from her eyes. She stopped and looked down, everypony was looking for her, but Pinkie was staring straight up at her.

“Dash, I know you’re innocent.” Pinkie said. She walks down to Ponyville and starts talking to Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Trying to convince them that she is innocent, but Fluttershy lets out a squeak, Rarity gasps, and Applejack starts yelling bad things about Rainbow.

“You guys, she is innocent, ask yourself this. Why would she kill Twilight? Why would she hurt her even? What are you guys thinking, she is innocent.” Pinkie starts telling them, and when she finishes they start easing up and start believing Pinkie.

“Listen, Ah’m not an expert but Ah’m now sure Rainbow Dash is innocent.” Applejack said. Everypony around heard her and spread the news around. Sooner or later Rainbow Dash came down, telling them what happened. How she was talking to two mares at the park and heard a scream from the Everfree forest. When she arrived she found the body, bled cold.

“I didn’t do anything after; I only stared at the body until you guys came.” Then Rainbow stops. Not talking, not moving, nothing. And that is when she forgot a very important detail at the scene.

“The bushes moved, of course!”  Rainbow yelled and started running back to the body of Twilight. When she arrived, she looked further into the forest, where the bushes were. She ran over and moved it, revealing a note.

Rainbow recited the note, “This is the end, and the magic is out. Give up now, and you will be spared.” That’s just strange, Rainbow said in her head. Is someone aiming at us, or all of the ponies in Ponyville?

~One Month Later~

Everyone hears a scream, a soft, but loud enough scream. Everypony knows what happened and to whom. Fluttershy was found in that alley, same description as the murder of Twilight, a knife in her head, bled cold, and worst of all, the note.

Rainbow Dash read it to her friends, “One more down, four more are left. Who will be struck next?”

Upon reading this note, Rarity boards up her shop, and makes sure no one comes near, not even her friends. Applejack goes to her recluse farm, only leaving to go sell, but she always stands in plain sight. Pinkie is in her room doing who knows what. And Rainbow Dash flies up high, so if she gets shot ponies will notice.

“This is madness. First Twilight got murdered in a meadow, and then Fluttershy died in an alley, what’s going to happen next?”

And as if on cue, two murders happened at once. This time it was obvious Rarity put up a good fight, or at least it was Rarity, for all she did was knock a pen down. It was obvious because the pen was on Rarities hand. But it was the same, a knife in the head and a note.

“One is down, then another, and another. We will strike you two. Do not be afraid, you will meet your friends soon.”

On Applejacks farm, it seemed like a fight instead of a murder. There were bookcases fallen, tables flipped, blood on the floor. And at least the knife wasn’t on the head, this time it barely missed the heart. There were intestines everywhere, on the walls, floor, even the ceiling.

“At least she went down with a fight.” Rainbow Dash said. She saluted at Applejack. There was no note at the scene, probably because they also got injured and had to run quickly. But she can assume that she and Pinkie were targeted next.

~Three months later~

Pinkie and Rainbow Dash are running from hooded ponies firing magic at them. One of the beams clipped Pinkies leg and another clipped Rainbows wing. They finally come across the exit, only one problem. They fell off a cliff.
