//-------------------------------------------------------// Shooting Stars -by cooliofir135- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// One Wish //-------------------------------------------------------// One Wish Meet Jaden. He's ten years old, and has no friends. The reason? He doesn't know how to make friends. He goes to bed every night lonely, and wakes up every day to the only person in the world who knows he exists, his mother. He goes to school, and gets picked on by bullies. There seems to be no hope for him, until one night, as he was in his bed, he saw a shooting star streak across the sky, and he makes a wish, wishing, that he could learn how to make some friends... Luna watched the sky as she shook a few loose and dying stars out of it, letting them cascade down, and giving many different ponies wishes, that she herself would grant, if they were worth granting. As the stars fell, she heard the wishes, and granted a few, and ignored the others, and then shook out one last star. It was her tradition to grant whatever wish came from the last star, so she shook it, and let the wish come. "I wish I could learn how to make some friends." A crying voice pleaded. Luna's eyes widened, and realized that this was coming from a distant place, known as earth. The creatures there were known as humans, and under Celestia's orders, were never aloud to come to Equestria. "Sister, you look troubled, what is it?" Celestia asked, walking out onto the balcony next to Luna. "Do you know our tradition of the last star?" Luna replied. "The one where you always grant the wish no matter what? Yes, I know of it, why? Did someone ask for soemthing horrid?" Celestia asked. "No, they asked to learn about friendship." Luna answered. "Then what is the problem?" "It was a human, and we are bound by our word to continue tradition." Luna said, after staying silent for a few minutes. "Your word is not something to give lightly, and you know for a cact that you must continue, or else you will lose your immortality. But of all the things to give your word for, why that? Luna, what if somepony wished to have somepony else dead? And humans cannot come to Equestria, you know what they are like, destructive, horrid, and evil." Celestia said, now quite worried. "It was a child who made the wish, one who still had their innocence. Sister, please, give us one month to help the human I know your word is law, even if only us and the council of magic knows of the law. And I know that not even you can break your own law, but please, give us one month to bring him here, and teach him about friendship, just a month. Please Sister, just a month." Luna said, pleading at her sister. Celestia closed her eyes, and nodded. "One month, if it doesn't turn out well, you will start to age once more. even if it would be so slow that only the other immortals will notice. But you have one month to grant the child's wish. Just one month." Celestia said, tears going down her face. "Please don't fail, I can't lose you again." Celestia said softly, then walked away. Luna nodded, then began to build energy into her horn, and teleported to the child, and saw him sleeping. She shook him to wake him slightly, he opened his eyes, and they went wide, then softened. "Are you the angel that grants the wishes of falling stars?" He asked. "In a way, we are the princess of the night on a distant world, and we are here to help you with your wish. Do you have a name young boy?" Luna replied. "Uh, yeah, it's Jaden, what about you? And why are you a horse?" Jaden asked. "We are Princess Luna, and it would be best if you did not use the word horse for now on, instead, use pony." Luna said. Now please come quickly, time passes oddly between our worlds, when you are on our world, time will not pass at all here, we still do not understand it, but the sun in our world is rising soon, so quickly, let us go." Luna urged, and Jaden nodded, and got out of bed, and grabbed a pair of jeans. "How are we supposed to get there Lulu?" Jaden asked. "We teleport, and did you just call us Lulu?" "Sorry, it just sort of came to me." Jaden replied, looking down at the floor. "It is quite alright, now please, take our hoof, and we will be off." Luna said, smiling gently at the child, and Jaden nodded, and took her hoof...
