Arch-Demon
This is what happened when we left off.  
Suddenly, a giant griffin appeared and tackled me to the ground.  
"Get the fuck OFF OF ME!!!" I yelled at him.  
I pushed him off and stabbed at him. He dodged but the blade hit his foot. He screamed and swung at me. I ducked and cut his leg off. I ran up his leg and stabbed him in the throat, but as he died, I felt a sword go through my back.  
I looked down to see that the griffin had managed to pull out a sword and stab me.  
I fell to the ground. Tia and the others ran to try and help me, but it was too late.   
I turned to look at Tia and said, "I'm sorry." And with that I died.  
Now here's what happened after.
Arch-Demons
I was dead. I was stabbed in the back and had died. And now I was talking to the figure again.  
(Author talking)  
I'm sorry Varis, but there isn't anything I can do right now.  
"Well, find a way," I yelled.  
You just have to wait one more year, OK?  
"FINE," I yelled.  
One year later  
Are you ready to go back Varis?  
"Yes," I said.  
Good. Well, you have been gone for 1000 years now, so be carful.  
"I will," I said.  
Good, I will talk to you later then. And with that I was teleported away and I found myself in an enclosed space again. I punched my way out and looked around to see where I was.  
You are in the same cemetery as before.  
"Where is everybody," I asked aloud.  
Tia and the others are in Equestria and the rest are here on earth.  
"Can I still transform?"  
Yes  
"Good."  
I turned into Fire and took off to our old home. When I got there, I was surprised to see that it was still standing. I walked inside and went to my old room. I found that my scythes were there on the bed.  
"Nice," I said.  
I grabbed my weapons and walked out of the house and decided too go to Equestria and see the girls first. I teleported to Equestria and made my way to the castle without getting caught. I flew around the outside of the castle and found Tia's bedroom balcony door was open. I walked in and found it was empty so I left a letter saying to meet me in the Everfree forest. Next I found Luna's door open too. She was sleeping, so I walked in and left the same note by her head. Next I went to find Crystal's home in the forest. I found it and left the same note and leaving to find Vega. I found her on a cloud over the temple of the two sisters. I flew by her and left the note on the cloud. Then I went into the Everfree forest and waited.  
After the sun had set and the moon had risen, I heard ponies talking. I changed my appearance to look just like a regular unicorn. When they were in the clearing I saw it was just the girls.  
"Good," I thought to myself, "they came alone."  
While they were talking I leaned in to catch what they were saying.  
"Luna, we must find this pony," Tia said.  
"But why," Luna asked.  
"Because," Crystal said, "We need to know if he has hostile intensions."  
"I agree," Vega said.  
I listened for a few more minutes before drawing my scythes and charging them. They turned and looked at me with confusion, then shock as I attack. I swung my scythe at Tia, and she dodged it so I ran past her and attack Luna. Luna wasn't quick enough to dodge the weapon, so I took out her legs and charged Crystal. She saw me coming and shot a bolt of magic at me, but I shot my own and I overpowered hers in an instant. Last was Vega. She was not going down without a fight. She shot multiple bolts of magic at me. I shot back and eventually I knocked her out with a paralyze spell.  
"WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING MY FRIENDS," Tia shouted in her Canterlot voice, causing me too cover my ears in agony.  
"Because, you know who I am…Tia."  
She looked at me in shock; as she recognized that voice, even though she hasn't heard it in 1,000 years. I stood up and changed into Fire, smiled and said, "I've miss you, Tia." Suddenly, I was tackled by 4 different alicorns that each weighed 70 lbs at least.  
"Ohh Varis," Tia said, "You've been gone for so long!"  
"Varis, don't ever leave again," Luna said.  
"If you do that to us again, I'll kill you myself," Vega said.  
"Varis, you have to stop doing that to us," Crystal said.  
They continued for what seemed like hours before I was able to talk again.  
"Girls, I've missed you so much, I will never leave you again," I said.  
"We love you Varis, please don't leave us again," they all said.  
"I love you guys so much," I said, "I never wanted to leave you."  
We laid there for hours, hugging, kissing, embracing, everything. I looked down too see that they all had their heads on my chest. I was still Fire so I stood up and walked to the edge of the clearing.  
"Wait, where are you going," Tia asked.  
"I'm going into hiding," I replied, "The others don't know that I'm alive and I don't think they will take it too well."  
"But you said you would never leave us again," Luna said, heartbroken.  
"Who said anything about leaving," I said, shocked they would even think that, "I'm just going to get my stuff to stay in a room."  
Vega was the first one too catch on.  
"You can stay with me if you want to," she said.  
"I would love too," I said, grabbing my things.  
"And Tia," I said, "Before you say anything, I will visit you everyday, you too Crystal."  
They nodded.  
"Great," I said, "Now that that's settled, I'll follow you to your home Vega."  
And with that we took off to her house.
Vega's house
I followed her inside the huge house. It was big. I think it was bigger than our house on earth.  
"And here is our bedroom," Vega said, pointing at a large room.  
"I call the bed!" I yelled as I sprinted across the room. I jumped on the bed and fell asleep instantly. When I woke up, I saw Vega's head laying on my chest. I ran my fingers through her mane. She woke up and nuzzled her head against my hand.  
"Good morning," I said.  
"Good morning."  
"I'll go make some breakfast," I said as I got up.  
"No," Vega said, pushing me back down on to the bed, "You're my house guest, so I will make the food."  
"Alright, suit yourself," I said, going back to sleep.  
I woke up an hour later and smelled something cooking. I walked downstairs and saw Crystal and Vega talking.  
"Morning Crystal," I said, and immediately found myself on the ground with Crystal nuzzling her head against my chest.  
"What's wrong," I asked.  
"It's Luna, she's GONE!!!"
Why did you do it?
"What do you mean?"  
"I mean she's gone."  
I got up, got my weapons and followed Vega and Crystal out the door. We arrived at the castle and saw that there were hundreds of ponies watching what looked liked a pony holding another. I flew past Vega and Crystal and saw that it was Tia holding Luna by the neck with her magic.  
"Citizens of Equestria, as your ruler, I say that you are goi-," she didn't get to finish.  
"TIA," I yelled, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"  
"Tia is not here," it said.  
"WHERE DID YOU TAKE HER!?!?"  
"I took her to the same place that I'm taking all of you." Suddenly, we were in the depths of hell, literally. We were in Tartarus.
What the fuck?
"Why did you take us here," I asked, barely controlling my anger.  
"Because, you alicorns are demons that should not be aloud to walk the earth."  
Then she disappeared. I walked over to Luna who was just waking up.  
"Are you all right," I asked.  
"Yeah, I'm fine."  
"We need to find Tia and get out of here," I said.  
We walked around and found Tia on the ground, barely alive.  
"TIA," I yelled and rushed to her side.  
"I'm sorry Luna, I couldn't stop her, I was too weak, I'm so sorry." She was mumbling something about her mother and seeing her again. I knew what that meant.  
"NO," I yelled, "You stay with me Tia, you're not getting out that easy."  
I picked her up and teleported out of Tartarus.  
I ran to the hospital and said, "She's dying, you have too save her!!!"  
They took her to the E.R. while Luna, Crystal, Vega, and I went too confront the demon.
The demon
We flew too the castle and found that it was in the throne room.  
"Ahh, I see you escaped. About time."  
"YEAH, BUT YOU SURE AS FUCK WON'T," I yelled as I charged. I brought my scythes down on it and sliced it in half.  
"Well, that was easy."  
I went and checked on Tia and found that she should make it but will need time to recover. There was only one thing that could help Tia. I didn't want to do it but I know I must to save Tia.  
"I'll be back soon, ok Luna," I said.  
"Ok," she said.  
And then I teleported away ……earth.
Fuck My Life
I landed in the forest near our old house and looked around. I walked too the house and went inside. As soon as I entered, I felt a presence in my mind.  
Varis listen to me, you will find Twilight in New York, but you will encounter the others as well, and they won't be happy.  
"Thank you for telling me," I said.  
I made my way to New York. Out of nowhere, I heard the flapping of wings. I looked up too see Kaasteel flying over head. I almost whistled, but stop a thought about what the figure said. I decided that I trusted Kaasteel enough to not kill me and I whistled. Bad choice. Kaasteel heard the noise and was filled with anger. He knew who it was, and was pissed that he dare show himself at this time. Kaasteel flew down to see me standing there. When I saw him, I was filled with joy, but I saw he wasn't slowing down.  
"He's mad at me, great." I knew I could easily dodge him, but I didn't. When he hit me, his talons impaled me, but missed the major arteries. But it still hurt like a bitch. I screamed in pain, but Kaasteel didn't care. He threw me to the ground from 400 feet in the air. I was broken but not dead.  
"WHY WON'T YOU DIE," Kaasteel yelled.  
"Because I still love you, even if you are trying to kill me," I said.  
"What," he said, "But you left me for Tia and then died and left me too fend for MYSELF," he yelled.  
"I never left you Kaasteel," I said, gasping through the pain, "I will always care and love you. Even if I'm dead, I'll will do anything I can to care for you."  
Kaasteel landed in front of me and stared at me. I stared back. But suddenly, the pain became unbearable and I fell to the ground screaming in pain.  
"NOOO," Kaasteel yelled, "I'm sorry Varis, I'll get you too a hospital!"  
"No," I said between clench teeth, "I need to get to Twilight before the end of the night, or Tia will die."  
I reached into my bag and pulled out a bottle. I opened it and drank what was in it. My wounds began to heal instantly.  
"Now," I said, "I need to get to Twilight."  
"Very well. Get on my back, I'll take you too her."  
I got on his back and he took off towards New York. 2 hours later we landed in front of an apartment building.  
"Twilight is room number 215," Kaasteel said.  
"Thank you, I will be back in a minute."  
I went inside and found room 215. I knocked on the door and heard, "one minute". I waited until the door open before grabbing Twilight and teleporting us into the forest. As soon as I let go, Twilight saw me and I had to put up a VERY powerful shield to stay in one piece. Twilight's hair was fiery and she looked ready to kill me.  
"STOP!!!"  
She stopped and looked at me. I lowered my shield and walked up to her.  
"BACK OFF," she yelled.  
"Twilight," I said in a soothing voice, "If you want to save Celestia, then come with me."  
Her eyes widen and she rushed over to me.  
"Lets go," I said.
She's Dead
I took us too the hospital and took her to Tia's room.  
"PRINCESS," Twilight yelled as she rushed to her side.  
"Twilight, is that you," she said, barely over a whisper.  
"Yes, and you have too come back, we need you, Varis needs you."  
I walked over to Tia and rested my hand on her head. She nuzzled my hand with her muzzle.  
"She's right Tia," I said, "I need you, we all need you."  
She looked at us, before closing her eyes. The heart monitor beeped once and then went flat.  
"No," I said, "NOOOOOOOOOOO."  
I pounded my fist against the wall while Twilight cried beside her mentor. The funeral was long and sad. Everyone in Equestria had shown up. After the funeral was over, everybody except me, Twilight, and Luna went home.  
"I'm sorry Tia," I said, "I should have been there for you, but I was too stupid to know that. I could've saved you. I could've saved you."
The Return
(POV change to Tia)  
I woke up in a field of flowers. In the distance I saw a figure walking towards me. It kept walking and soon was right in front of me.  
"Who are you," I asked.  
(Author talking)  
I am your savior.  
"What do you want?"  
I'm here too bring you back too life.  
"What do you mean?"  
You are dead, you have been dead for 500 years now, so I'm here too take you back.  
"Why?"  
Because, no one has been doing to good. But Varis has suffered the worst. I've had too stop him multiple times from killing himself. He is traumatized without you, because he blames your death on himself. You need too go to him and help him.  
"My goodness."  
Are you ready to go?  
"Yes, but where do I find Varis?"  
He will be at the temple of the two sisters. He is going to try and kill himself by jumping off the cliff.  
"I need to get to him!"  
I will bring you back to life, but you need too get to him.  
"I understand."  
Suddenly, I was in an enclosed space. I shot a powerful bolt of magic up and climbed out of the hole. I looked around and saw I was in the Canterlot gardens, which means…  
I looked around and saw Luna standing there on her balcony. She didn't seem to notice me, so I stared at her for a moment before taking off for the temple. I made it to the temple and saw Varis; falling to his death.  
"NOOO," I yelled, and dove after him.  
I was flying so fast I saw I was starting too make a sonic-rainboom. Soon enough I heard an explosion behind me. I flew under Varis and caught him. He looked down to see who had caught him.  
"T-Tia, is t-that you?"  
"Hello Varis," I said.  
"CELESTIA," he yelled, hugging me. It had been so long since he had called me by my full name. I was happy.  
"Yes Varis, it's me."  
"I'm so happy you're alive. Ever since you died, I just couldn't live with myself knowing I could've prevented your death." He started too cry.  
I landed on the ground and lay down and he got off and laid down beside me as Fire. I looked at him and he looked at me. I leaned closer and closed my eyes. He did the same. I leaned in and kissed him. We sat there for what felt like hours.  
"I love you, Tia," he said.  
"I love you too, Varis."  
We sat there, hugging. After awhile, I heard the sound of wings flapping.  
"Oh no," I said.  
"What is it," Varis asked.  
"The others are here, and they probably brought Twilight."  
"Quick, hide," he said.  
I dove into a bush and waited.  
"Varis, there you are," Luna said, flying down.  
"We've been looking all over for you," Crystal said, nuzzling him.  
"Why are you out here," Vega asked, also nuzzling him.  
"I was just thinking about what happened," he said.  
"Varis," Luna said, "You have to get over it."  
Suddenly, he looked at Luna like he was going to murder her.  
"NO!!!" He yelled, "You may be able to get over it, but I never will. Were you able get over me dying the first time!?!?"  
"No, we weren't," she said, looking down. She looked like she was about to cry.  
"Didn't think so," he yelled. "Once you guys decide you care about Celestia, you come back and then we'll talk!!!"  
Luna flew off, but he stopped Crystal and Vega.  
"Listen," he said, "You care about Celestia like I do right?"  
"Yes," they replied.  
Varis looked at the bush I was in and nodded his head. I walked out of the bush and they gasped. Then they hugged my so tight, I couldn't breathe.  
"Girls, you're choking her."  
"Sorry," they said, letting go.  
"It's alright," I said.  
"Tia, how are you alive," they asked.  
I told them about the figure and finding Varis.  
"Well then," Fire said, "I guess we have too find you a place to sleep."  
"She can stay with me," Crystal said.  
"Sorry Crystal, but I am going to watch Tia so she doesn't die again."  
"So I'm going to stay at the castle," he finished.  
"Why," I asked.  
"Because," he said, "It's the easiest place to watch you. And I need too apologize to Lulu anyway."  
"Very well," I said, "I'll go with Crystal."  
He took off and I followed Crystal back to her home.
The Wraith of Lulu
(POV change to Varis)  
"Tia's alive," I thought.  
I was flying to the castle to stay there, and to apologize too Lulu. When I got there, I was stopped by Luna's personal guards.  
"Halt!!!"  
"I need to see Luna," I said.  
"I'm afraid you can't do that."  
"And why not," I asked.  
"Because she has asked to be left alone."  
"Well then, you can try and stop me if you want," I said, walking by them.  
They block my way.  
"Sir please leave or we will be have to use force."  
"Go ahead," I taunted.  
They snapped and attacked. I dodged a spear and yanked it away and pinned the guard to the ground. The other guard attacked and I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. I looked to see a spear in my shoulder.  
"Damn," I said before I ripped it out and put it in the guard's shoulder.  
I walked to Luna's room and opened the door. I ducked to keep my head from being taken off by magic.  
"LUNA," I yelled.  
"WHAT DO YOU WANT VARIS!!!"  
"I came too apologize," I said.  
"LIES, YOU ARE HERE TOO CRITICIZES ME ABOUT WETHER OR NOT I LOVE MY SISTER!!!"  
She charged at me and stabbed me with her horn. I looked down to see the horn had gone all the way though.  
"Shit," was all I said before I died for the 3rd time.
The Mistake
(POV change too Luna)  
I heard a "Shit," and looked to see Varis; dead on my horn.  
"VARIS," I yelled, getting him off my horn and checking him over.  
He was dead. I killed Varis. I killed the best friend I ever had.  
"NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"  
I grabbed Varis and I flew out the window; crying the whole time. I landed in the gardens and held Varis's body and cried softly. I cried and cried until it was time to raise the sun. I flew up to the balcony and lowered the moon and raised the sun. I flew back down to Varis's body and carried him to the cemetery. When I got to the cemetery I was about too lay his body in the hole that was made for him if he killed himself, but I stopped. He didn't, I killed him, I killed him out of rage.  
"Well, at least he is with Tia now."
I'm back
I'm back. I'm back in the afterlife talking to the figure.

Welcome back, Varis.  
"Hello."  
This time, I'm going to send you back right away. Are you ready?  
"Yes."  
I was suddenly back alive. I still had the hole in my chest and my heart wasn't beating, but I was alive. It felt like I was floating. I was about to check when I heard soft crying. It was Lulu. She was crying and carrying me through the Everfree forest. I was about to wonder where she was going until I heard her knock on a door.  
"Oh SHIT!!!" I thought.  
I heard the door open and a gasp. I knew it was Vega.  
"What happened," she asked.  
"I killed Varis," Luna whispered.  
"You killed him?"  
"I killed Varis."  
"You are coming with me too Crystal's house."  
"I killed Varis," Lulu said again.  
They walked through the forest until the got to Crystal's house. "I hope Tia hides." The door opens and another gasp is heard. They took Luna inside and left me outside alone. I slowly got up, when I heard a scream. I look through the window and saw that Tia had heard what happened and had reviled herself. She was yelling at Luna, but was too quiet for me too catch what she was saying. I saw Luna had started too cry. I found a rock and put it beside the door and hid. After about 5 minutes I saw Luna run out of the house, sobbing. She took off and flew to the castle. I flew after her and was soon right above her. After a minute, I dove on top of her and tackled her to the ground.  
"NO, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME CELESTIA," she yelled.  
I changed myself to look like Tia and cast a spell that made me talk like Tia, and said, "Give me ONE good reason why I shouldn't take your powers away!!!"  
"I'm sorry," she said.  
I changed back to Fire and ended the spell that edited my voice, and said, "Apology accepted."  
She opened her eyes wide and looked at me and then the hole that was still in my chest. Then she wrapped her fore-arms around my neck, started crying, and hugged me tight.  
"I'm so sorry, Varis," she said, "I let my anger and jealousy get the best of me."  
"I understand, you and I were just having a hard time dealing with the loss. But I hope you learned your lesson."  
She nodded and continued too cry until I picked her up with my magic and carried her home. That night we slept together in her bed.  
"I love you, Lulu," I said.  
"I love you too, but how can you still love me after I killed you?"  
"Because I figured that you would be pretty upset, so I prepared for the worst."  
She nodded her head and fell asleep. After a few minutes, I fell asleep to.
Fucking RUN!!!
I woke up to see a dark blue wing across my body. It was Luna's. I looked over to see her still sleeping. I stroked her mane and she instinctively rubbed her head against my hand.  
"Morning," I said.  
"Morning," she replied.  
"It feels like its hot in here," I said, gesturing to her wings.  
Her eyes widen and she looked at me with a worried look.  
"What's wrong," I asked.  
"Hey…uh Varis,…you're going to need to avoid all mares for the next week, ok?"  
"Why," I asked, concerned.  
"Because…we enter the…uhh…heat," she said.  
I looked at her with a scared expression. Then she got a very scary expression on her face; like she was going to rape me. Which she probably was. Suddenly, she pounced at me. I yelped and dove to the side and flew out the window. I flew through the gardens and saw Shining Armor walking. I flew down to him.  
"Shining," I said, "I need your help."  
"With what," he asked.  
"You know about the mares heat, right?"  
He nodded.  
"Well, that's this week," I said.  
"Oh shit," he said.  
"Yeah," I said, "and I'm the only male alicorn and I'm dating 4 of the 5 alicorn mares, and your married to the other, you picking up what I'm putting down?"  
"Dude, we're screwed."  
"Yeah, no shit."  
"Alright," he said, "We'll work together."  
"Thank God," I said, "What do we do first?"  
He told me what we were going to do and I understood it all, because my life depended on it.
Day 1
Shining and I have made it to the room at the top of the castle. We had stocked up on special weapons that paralyzed the target. I was sniping while Shining watch my back.  
"I don't see any yet," I said.  
"Me neither," he replied.  
We kept watch until night when one slept and one stood guard.
Day 2
The next day wasn't as good. I saw a couple of mares walking by. They looked like they were looking for something. I told Shining and he watched the door with more attention. The rest of the day was uneventful.
Day 3
Today we had to shoot a couple of mares that had found their way up here. After we paralyzed them, we had to carry their unconscious bodies to the basement. I carried the bodies while Shining watched for others.  
"Do you think we'll have to shoot the princesses," I asked.  
"I hope not," he said, "But if we have too to protect each other, the I won't hesitate."
Day 4
We were almost found. We had seen Tia flying around, but didn't come near. But then Shining saw Twilight and her friends coming up here. Shining was forced to paralyze his own sister, along with the others. Then I saw Cadence flying around, but I didn't tell Shining.
Day 5
We're screwed. We're screwed. We had a mob of mares running up the stairs. We were forced to paralyze all of them. We saw all of the alicorns flying closer to the castle, but they kept their distance.
Day 6
The alicorn mares are the only ones left and there getting closer and closer everyday.
Day 7 Final
Today we were forced to leave the castle. The alicorns had managed to get inside with out me seeing them. We ran out the door with them right behind us. They were getting closer, so I grabbed Shining and teleported us away. But it didn't last long. They found us.   
"There's nothing we can do," Shining said, "We're trapped."  
I looked at him.  
"No," I said, "I'm trapped, but you can get too safety."  
"No, I'm not letting you sacri-" he was cut short by me teleporting him away.  
"Goodbye," I said as the alicorns pounced at me.  
I shot into the air and flew off, making sure that they were still following me. I flew for hours, until finally, the sun went down. Tia, Luna, Vega, Crystal, and Cadence stopped and fell too the ground. I flew after them and managed to catch all 5 of them.  
"What happened," Tia said, waking up.  
"You were in the heat," I answered with no emotion.  
They all blushed and looked away. I just laughed my ass off.  
"Wait, what about Shining," Cadence asked.  
"I sent him too check on all the mares we had to paralyzed."  
Cadence flew off while the rest of us just sat there.  
"Hey, you guys," I said.  
"Hmm?"  
"You think anyone saw Tia?"  
They faces went into shock.  
"I hope not," Tia said, "They don't know I'm alive."  
"Well, you just have to hide until we think of a way out of this," I said.
The Truth Behind Kaasteel
Today was amazing. The girls and I had a nice breakfast together, then we went flying to nowhere in particular. It was awesome.  
"Hey Varis," Luna said.  
"Yes."  
"Can I talk to you for a moment?"  
"Sure."  
I followed her to the ground and landed beside her.  
"I wanted to ask, if you wanted to go to earth?"  
My eyes widen, "EARTH, KAASTEEL!!!"  
"What about him?"  
"He is going to find out what what happened to his mother!"  
"Oh no," she said.  
I told Tia that we had to go to earth. Once she agreed, I took us to earth. I took off in the direction of where Kaasteel would be. Once I got there, my heart sank. Kaasteel was sitting right where I found his egg and raised him from hatch.  
"Kaasteel…" I said.  
"Ahh, Varis," he said, no emotion in his voice.  
"I'm so sorry, I lost track of the time difference. I'm so sorry." My eyes started to water.  
"Why did you kill her," he said, "My mother."  
"I didn't try to kill her, I acted in self-defense and I was forced to kill her," I said, "She attacked me because she was protecting you from predators."  
He just sat there, looking at the bones of his mother.  
"Listen, Kaasteel, I sorry. If I wouldn't of had to kill her, I wouldn't have."  
He looked at me. His eyes were watery.  
"I understand Varis, you had no choice. I just wish I could have seen her."  
"I can show you what she looked like, if you want," I said.  
"Yes, I would."  
I entered his mind and brought up my memories of his mother. They were brief and shallow, but they still showed what she looked like, and that's all he wanted.  
"Thank you," he said.  
"Kaasteel, come with us to Equestria."  
"I guess I can," he said.  
And with that, I teleported all of us to Equestria.  
"It's beautiful," he said.  
"Yeah, it sure is," I said, "Do you want to fly around?"  
"I would like that," he said.  
Tia and the others went to the castle while Kaasteel and I just flew around enjoying the cool air. Out of nowhere, a rainbow blur crashed into me and before I knew it, I was on the ground.  
"Oww, what the fuck hit me," I mumbled.  
I felt a slight pain on my stomach. I look down to see Rainbow Dash hugging me tightly.  
"Rainbow, what are you doing?"  
"Where have you been," she asked, crying.  
I stroked her mane and said, "If I told you, you wouldn't believe me."  
"OK."  
"Now, I have too get back to Kaasteel."  
"Oh, OK."  
"I'll see you later," I said, flying back to Kaasteel.  
"What happened," Kaasteel asked.  
"Rainbow."  
"Ahh."  
We flew around for awhile longer before heading back to the castle. We landed in the courtyard and saw Tia walking around.  
"Hey Tia."  
She looked over and said, "Oh; hi."  
"Are you okay," I asked, walking over.  
"Yes, I'm fine."  
"Tia, to some you're are a good lier, but too me, you're pretty bad at it."  
"Okay," she sighed, "I've been thinking about us."  
"So why were you crying," I asked.  
"Because, you won't live forever, and you can't keep coming back to life."  
"Tia, what do you mean?"  
"I mean, I don't want Lulu to go through the pain I did by losing you," she said.  
I walked over and kissed her. After a few moments, I pulled back and embraced her.  
"I will never leave you forever, okay?"  
Tia started too cry. I nuzzled her neck and stroked her mane.  
"It's okay," I said, "Everything will be fine."  
She pulled back and smiled.  
"Okay," she said.  
"Good," I said, "Now, do you have anywhere Kaasteel could stay?"  
"We have some spare griffin rooms in the castle," she answered.  
"Will you take him to them, he wanted to talk to you anyway."  
"Okay," she replied.  
"Good," I said, "While you do that, I need to have a chat with Lulu."  
I waved goodbye and started towards Lulu's room. I stopped in front of her bedroom door and knocked. She answered immediately.  
"Fire," she yelled.  
"Hey Lulu," I said.  
"What are you doing here?"  
"I just wanted to have a chat with you."  
She invited me in and led me too her bed. I laid down and she laid down next too me.
King and Queen
"What did you want too talk about," she asked.  
"What did I do that made you want too kill me?"  
"Ohh," she hesitated, "Well, I was mad that you would say I could get over my sisters death so easily, so I guess that is what set me off."  
"I see," I said, "Well I never should have said that, I know you care for your sister and would do anything to get her back."  
She looked down in remorse.  
"I'm sorry," was all she said before flying out the window.  
"LUNA," I yelled after her, but she was already gone.  
I changed into human and flew (I have wings as a human now) after her. I saw her enter the Everfree. "Maybe she needs time too think." I followed her until she entered the temple. I followed. She walked up the stairs and into the throne room. She walked up too a pair of statues.  
"We did it mother; father. Tia and I are finally happy," she whispered.  
I felt a tremor underground. It seemed to travel to the statues. I watch as they began to glow. Then they changed into what looked like king Neptune and queen Solar. Neptune was a pure black alicorn with a mane that was darker than the night sky without any stars. Solar was a fiery alicorn, literally. Her mane was made of pure fire, but gave off no heat. Her body was a beautiful white.  
"I'm glad you found happiness," Neptune said.  
"Yes, we are very proud of you," Solar said.  
"Thank you," Luna said.  
Suddenly, the king said, "You had better not upset or hurt my daughters, Varis."  
I heard Luna gasp as I walked out from hiding.  
"A human, interesting," Solar mumbled.  
"My apologies, your Majesties," I said, "I did not mean to overhear."  
"It's quiet alright," he said, "Now we can talk in person and we can see you with our own eyes."  
I bowed to them.  
"If I may ask," I said, "What is it you wanted to talk about?"  
"Well," he began, "I wish too know why you blamed Tia's death on you?"  
He asked the one question I didn't want to answer.  
"Well, you see," I began, "I lost too many good friends because I wasn't there to help them. I knew I could have been there to help her, but I wasn't."  
"That does not make your fault," Solar said.  
"I understand," I said.  
"Now, Lulu," Solar said, "Why did you try to kill Varis?"  
Luna stiffened.  
"It's alright Luna," I said, "I've already forgiven you."  
She nodded her head.  
"I don't know what came over me," she said, "But when he said I was able to get over my sisters death, I just…snapped."  
"I see," Neptune said, "Well, it's good to hear that you have forgiven her."  
"I understood why she was upset," I said, "She had every right, I should have worded what I said better."  
They nodded.  
"Well," Solar said, "May I see your other form, I'm quite interested."  
"Very well," I said. I changed into Fire, and stood there while she walked up and inspected me.  
Then she saw my cutie mark.  
"What does that mean," she asked.  
My cutie mark was two scythes crossed and a skull over top. (It looks like the pic for Legendary difficulty on Halo, so you get the picture)  
"It means," I said, "That I am to protect the innocent at all costs, even my own life, which I have done on a few occasions."  
"I see," she replied.  
"I sorry if that bothers you," I said with a little worry in my voice. But that feeling was destroyed when Solar walked up to me, and nuzzled my neck.  
"No, it doesn't bother me at all," she said, "It means that you will do everything you can to defend our little ponies."  
"I will do everything in my power too protect this world from any danger," I said.  
She back away. "That is good to hear."  
I felt another tremor.  
"That's our signal," Neptune said.  
"I wish we could stay longer," Solar said, "But we must leave now."  
They walked up to Luna and nuzzled goodbye. Then they got back in their places.  
"It was an honor meeting you," I said.  
"Goodbye Varis," they said. And with that they glowed and turned back too stone.  
"Come on Lulu," I said, "Lets go home."
The Changeling's Return
I was one year after our talk with the king and queen. Me and Luna were closer than ever before. Tonight we were laying in bed. I was rubbing her neck and she was nuzzling my cheek.  
"Hey Lulu," I said.  
"Hmm?"  
"I was just wondering, what happened to Crystal?"  
She looked like she was thinking.  
"Actually, I don't know."  
We got our answer the next morning. We walked outside and saw someone who we thought would never come back.  
"CRYSALIS," I shouted.  
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the man who abandoned me."  
"What are you talking about," I asked.  
"You," she said, anger seething in her words, "You left me for the princesses. I didn't even know you were alive until yesterday."  
"Crystal," I said, concerned, "Why would you ever think that I would leave you. I love you just as much as Luna or Tia. It's just that they have been having trouble. You have not."  
She floated down to me and landed a few feet away.  
"You could've a least told me you were alive," she said.  
"I wanted too, but I couldn't because I never got the chance."  
I walked up to her and stared at her. Suddenly, she changed back into the Crystal I know and love. I walked up to her and hugged her.  
"I'm sorry," she said.  
"It's alright Crystal, it wasn't your fault."  
"But it was my fault," she said, starting to cry.  
I rubbed her neck.  
"No, it was my fault," I said, "I should have told you that I was alive."  
She smiled.  
"Would you like to stay her for the night," I asked.  
"That would be nice."  
"Luna, is that okay with you," I asked, looking at her.  
"That is perfectly fine with me."  
"It's settled than, you will stay here with us."  
"Ok."  
"Now I'm expecting somepony to show up any minute now," I said.  
As soon as those words left my mouth, a blue mist landed in front of me and took the shape of an alicorn that looked very familiar.  
"Ahh, Vega, I was wondering when you would show up," I said.  
"Considering you left me thinking you were dead!"  
"Now Vega," I said, "I just had this conversation with Crystal. I never meant too make you think I was dead. I would've told you, but I never got the chance. I still love you with all my heart and soul. I will never leave you again. I Pinkie Promise," I said, doing the motions. Suddenly she changed back into the Vega I knew.  
"I love you Varis."  
I just smiled and hugged her.  
"Would you like to stay with us tonight too," I asked.  
"I would love too," she said.  
"Good."  
By the time we were done talking it was time for Luna too raise the moon. We walked with her to her room and watched her raise it. It was amazing.  
"Beautiful," we all said.  
We walked to the bed a laid down too sleep. We laid there, me stroking their manes, them nuzzling my neck, chest and cheek.  
"I love you guys," I said.  
"Love you too," they said.  
"Now all we need is a tall white alicorn to show up, pissed as to why she wasn't invited."  
The girls chuckled. Then a glow formed at the end of the bed, and a pissed off Celestia stood there.  
"And why wasn't I invited," she asked.  
We all laughed.  
"Why are you laughing, why wasn't I invited to the sleepover?"  
"Come on Tia," I said, still chuckling.  
She happily got on the bed and snuggled next to me. It was kind of weird. When Tia laid down with her legs stretched out, she was at least 1/3 longer than me. If she stood up on her hind legs, she'd be at least 9-10 feet tall.  
"Good night everypony."  
"Good night."
Help
The next morning, we woke up too hear explosions outside. We ran out too see what was happening. My heart sank. Somehow, the humans had made their way to Equestria and wanted to take it.  
"No," I mumbled.  
"Varis, what is going on?"  
"Now," I said, "before you ask, no I had nothing to do with this."  
"What do we do," Tia asked.  
"I don't know," I answered. Then I got an idea.  
"Luna, I need your help. Everypony else, do what ever needs to be done to defend this world."  
They nodded and Luna followed me. After about 5 minutes, we arrived at our destination. We landed in the temple of the two sisters, and made our way to the statues of the king and queen.  
"Please, Neptune and Solar," I said, "We need your assistance."  
I felt a tremor underground and saw the statues glow. Once the glow was gone, Neptune and Solar stood there.  
"Why have you called us," Neptune asked.  
"I need your advice," I said, "The humans have somehow managed to make their way to Equestria and are trying to conquer it."  
As I expected, their first reaction was too blame me.  
"Why did you lead the human race here," Neptune shouted.  
"Your Majesty," I said, "I know why you blame me, you have every right too. But believe me when I say that I had nothing to do with it. And if I did, why would I be telling you."

"He's right," Solar said.  
"I apologize for jumping to a collusion," Neptune said.  
"There is no need your Majesty, I understand you're just looking out for this planet, as am I."  
"Now then," Solar said, walking up to me, "You said you needed our advice?"  
"Yes," I said, "Is there any possible way to send the all the humans back to earth?"  
They looked at each other with a worried expression.  
"Your Majesties?" I watched as they turned to look at me.  
"There is," Neptune said, "But requires a lot of magic too cast, and the caster almost never survives."  
I thought about my choices.  
A.) send human race back and probably die.  
B.) kill the human race and be responsible for its extinction.  
"How much magic does it require," I asked.  
"If you were to combine Luna's, Tia's, Vega's, Crystal's, and your magic, then that should be enough."  
"Thank you, when we meet again, it will either be here or where you are," I said.  
"Good luck," they said.  
We flew back to the others and told them what needed too be done.  
"WHAT," Tia yelled as she heard, "You want to cast a spell that will kill you just to save man kind!?"  
"Eeyup," I said, mimicking Big Mac.  
"No, I won't do it!"  
"Tia, we don't have a choice." It was Luna who said this.  
"NO, I've lost you too many times already," she said hugging me tightly.  
"Tia, haven't I alway come back for you?"  
She thought about it.  
"Fine," she said.  
"Alright, you know what to do," I said.  
I flew up and charged up the spell. Then they fed my all of their magic. The amount of magic flowing through my veins was too much. As I cast the spell; I screamed in pain and fell too the earth; dead again.
Long chat
(POV change to Tia)  
I watched as Fire plummeted to the ground. I screamed and flew to catch him. When I caught him; he wasn't breathing. I rushed him to the hospital, but it was too late to save him. I cried softly that night, Luna next too me; trying to convert me, but with little to no success. "I've lost him again," I thought to myself. "He did it to save us and save the human race." I cried myself to sleep that night.  
(POV change to Varis)  
I woke up hear ponies talking. I was able to hear that there were only two. One was a stallion, and the other was a mare.  
"Oww, my head hurts," I said as I tried to sit up, but I felt a large hoof push me back down.  
"No, you need to lay down, you took a nasty fall." I knew that voice.  
"Your majesty, is that you," I asked, opening my eyes. It was him.  
He chuckled, "Please, just call me Neptune. I never liked titles."  
I turned to see Solar standing there.  
"Your highness, what are you doing here?"  
She giggled (never heard a queen giggle before, except for Tia, but she was a princess)   
"Please, call me Solar. I never liked titles either."  
"Ok, what are you guys doing here."   
"Well," Neptune said, "While casting the spell, you used too much magic at once, and died."  
"Ahh, I see."  
"But we have a solution," Solar said.  
"Ohh, and dare I ask what it is," I said.  
"Well," Solar explained, "We started building up magic when you contacted us, because we knew what the result would be."  
"And," Neptune continued, "We built up enough magic to bring you back to life. But we need to be where you landed for it too cast properly."  
"Well, lets teleport there and cast it," I said.  
"Well, here's the thing," Solar said, "We can't teleport down here, and you were a long ways away from here. And the time difference in 1 minute here is 1 year back in Equestria."  
She just dropped the bomb shell.  
"How long will it take to get there," I asked, worried.  
"If we leave right now, about 1 hour," Neptune said.  
"Lets go!" I jumped up and said, "Lead the way."  
We ran out the door and hurried to the place where I landed. 1 1/2 later, we arrived.  
"Quick, cast the spell," I said.  
"Are you ready," Solar asked.  
"Yes."  
"I hope to see you again some time soon," Neptune said.  
"Goodbye Neptune, goodbye Solar," I said, waving a hoof.  
"Goodbye," they said as they cast the spell. A minute later, I was back in my wooden casket.
Leaving Notes
"Hello box," I said. I punched out and made my way to the castle. I flew up to Luna's balcony and found her crying. Not wanting too spoil the surprise, I just wrote a note and left it on the balcony. Then I took off to Tia's and also found her crying, so I left the same note saying to meet me in the Everfree tonight. Of course, I didn't say it was me. I then flew to Vega's house. I looked around and saw no one was home. I walked in, it looked like it had been abandoned. Even so, I left the note on the door incase she came back. Next I found Crystal walking through the forest below. I flew a ways a head of her and put the note in the dirt, so when she walked by she would see it. Then I flew too the temple and contacted Neptune and Solar.  
"I left them a note saying to meet me here. I didn't tell them it was me because I wanted to see them all at once."  
"Good," Neptune said, "and thank you for making our daughters happy."  
"Yeah," I said, "I just wish that I could always be there for them. I mean, when I saw them, they were still crying about it. I just wish I could do better."  
"Nonsense," Solar said, "You are doing just fine. You may not be able to be with them all the time, but you make up for it by make their time with you outstanding."  
"Thank you, Solar," I said, "You too Neptune, you gave me something to think about."  
"Well, we better start waiting for them," he said.  
"Yes," Solar said, "It's been so long since we've seen Tia."  
We sat there, waiting, talking, teaching. Yes, they taught me some of their most powerful spells, like using the stars to get power, or controlling fire. After awhile though, we began to wonder where they were.  
"Well that's strange," I said, "They should have shown up by now."  
"Should we go look for them," Solar asked.  
"I would guess we should," I replied.  
Searching the Castle  
We left the temple to look for the 4 missing alicorns. We made our way to the castle. I asked Solar and Neptune disguise themselves as pegasi and we entered the castle. We split up. I looked in their rooms and the throne room, Solar would look in the kitchen, dining hall, and meeting room, and Neptune would look in the gardens. I looked in Tia's room only to find that there was nopony in there. I checked Luna's room. Same answer. I checked the throne room and saw something peculiar. On the throne there was a note it said   
Dear whoever gave us the note,
We don't trust you so we will not be meeting you anywhere. Don't bother looking for us, you won't find us. If you wish to see us well… to bad.

I read the note again to make sure I read it correctly. I did. I took off to the meeting room to find Solar.  
"Solar," I yelled as I found her.  
"What is it?"  
I showed her the letter and she gasped.  
"We have to get Neptune, he's got a tracking spell," she said.  
We found Neptune and showed him the note. He immediately casts the spell and flew off heading to the Everfree forest. We followed.
Fighting Dragons
2 hours later, I heard a scream. Neptune and Solar heard it too and followed it. 10 minutes later, we found the princesses being attack be 5 FULLY GROWN DRAGONS!!! Solar and Neptune dropped the disguises and we flew down too intercept a fireball that was headed right at them. Solar and I used our magic to take control of the fire and shoot it back at the dragons, while Neptune bucked a dragon in the face. The dragons roared in pain and annoyance. One swung at Solar while she had her back turned. I air tackled her out of the way and the dragon hit air.  
"Thanks," she said.  
"Don't mention it," I said.  
I turned human and I drew my scythes (which I hadn't used in awhile) and killed one dragon with a slice across its neck. I flew at another that was attempting to hit Neptune and was failing horribly. I saw one come up behind him and swing at him with his claws. I flew in and cut its arm off and killed it with a stab to the chest. By now there were only 3 left. I charged the one I was after and stabbed it in both eyes. Neptune and Solar blasted holes in the other 2 and killed them.  
Suddenly, another one came out of nowhere and hit Solar with its claws, severally injuring her.  
"SOLAAAAR," Neptune and I screamed with a voice that rivaled the royal Canterlot voice. He and I flew at this dragon; determined to kill it where it stood. He and I charged up the most powerful spell we could; the Moonlit Bomb. It was the most powerful spell that only Solar and Neptune had ever managed to pull off. We put our spells together and made the most powerful spell ever seen before. When it was fully charged, we shouted as we fired the spell at the dragon that had just been standing there the whole time. As the Moonlit Bomb hit the dragon, it screamed in pain as the spell destroyed him from the inside out. We had used all of our magic with that one spell, and we were barely able to stay conscious. We flew down to Solar who had a huge gash down her back.  
"We have to heal her," I said.  
"But how," he said.  
"I have a solution all ready," I said.  
I looked over at Tia, who was still sitting there in fear.  
"Tia, I need your help." I seemed to have gotten her attention.  
"Tia listen, I need you to cast a disguise spell on her. Can you do that?" I added a bit of pleading in my voice. She just nodded her head and walked over. She bent down and put her horn and cast the spell. When she was done, we saw a simple pegasus.  
"Lets heal you, shall we," I said.  
Tia walked up and cast the correct healing spell and the wound on Solar's back healed.  
Neptune disguised himself and led the way while I carried Solar on my back. Tia flew up closer to me.  
"Varis, i-is that y-you?"  
"Yes Tia, it was me who left you that note."  
Her eyes widen in shock.  
"That was you," she asked.  
"Yes, as have all the other notes."  
She flew closer, nuzzled me, and flew away. Sometime while we were talking, Solar had regained consciousness and had heard our little talk. I felt forelegs wrap around my neck and somepony nuzzle my mane. I looked back too see Solar was awake and nuzzling me.  
"Thank you for making my daughter happy," she said.  
I turned my head and nuzzled her back.  
"I'm always happy to help," I told her.  
She sighed contently and laid her head down to rest.
We Can Stay
1 hour later, we finally managed to get back too the castle.  
"Wait a second," I said as I thought hit me, "How are you guys still here, I thought you couldn't leave the temple."  
Neptune's and Solar's eyes widen as the realization hit them.  
"How are we here, I don't know," Neptune said.  
"Wait," I said, thinking, "Could this mean that when you cast the revive spell, could it have affected you as well?"  
"That is the only logic answer," Solar said, still on my back.  
"So does t-that m-mean that y-your back for g-good," Luna asked.  
"Yes Luna," I said, "I think it does."  
She and Tia squeed in joy and tackle hugged Neptune who let out an "ohh shi- oomph" as he was tackled and put in a choking bear hug. I just chuckled. I walked out of the room with Solar still on my back because I didn't think she could take a bear hug from the girls.  
"Hey Solar?"  
"Yeah," she said.  
"You know what really happened, don't you?"  
She sighed and looked away.  
"Yeah, I cast the spell so that it would hit us too."  
"Well, I'm grateful that you did." I said, "I wouldn't have been able to take on those dragons without your help."  
She smiled and nuzzled my neck again.  
"Hey, Varis," she said.  
"Yeah?"  
"Do you have a name for this form?"  
"I do, it's Fiery Pain, but I'm thinking about changing it," I said.  
"Well how about…umm say Aethor?"  
I thought about it.  
"I like it," I said.
Place to Stay
We kept walking around the castle until I thought of something.  
"Hey Solar," I said.  
"Hmm?"  
"I take it you don't have anywhere to stay?"  
"No, we don't," she said.  
"Well, I have a large house at the edge of Canterlot closest to the castle. If you'd like, you guys can stay there if you want to."  
She thought about it.  
"You'll still be able to visit Tia and Luna," I said, "They usually stay with me there anyway."  
"…Ok, I think that would be best," she said.  
"Alright," I said, "I'll go get the beds set up and you can explore if you want."  
"Ok."  
I walked to my house (it was more like a mansion to me, but this was Canterlot) and open the door. I walked in and Solar gasped. There were a lot of things I had that I brought from earth. But I don't think that is why she gasped. In my living room sat Kaasteel.  
"GRIFFIN," she yelled.  
"Uh oh this can't be good," I thought.  
"Solar, this is Kaasteel; Kaasteel, this is queen Solar."  
When I said queen, he immediately dipped his head and said, "Welcome, queen Solar."  
"Solar, this is my friend from earth," I explained.  
"I see," she said.  
"I take it you had rather bad conflicts with griffins?"  
"Yes," she said, "Really bad ones."  
I nodded. I took her upstairs and showed her were her room is.  
"Well," I said after I got the beds set up, "I'd better go tell Neptune where we are."  
"Ohh, Neptune I forgot about him."  
"I'll go get him then," I said.  
I walked back to the castle and found Neptune walking around looking pretty upset.  
"Hey Neptune," I called to him.   
He looked at me. He looked like he wanted to kill me.  
"Solar is at my house exploring," I said.  
"Take me to her," he said.  
"Follow me."  
I took him to my house, but stopped him before he opened the door.  
"Neptune," I said, "You will find my pet griffin in there. Don't worry, he's harmless unless you give a reason to do harm."  
"I'll take your word for it," he said as he opened the door.  
"Solar is in her room upstairs," I said.  
"And where is that," he asked.  
"Here, let me show you."  
I lead him upstairs and into the room where Solar was staying.  
"Where did you go," he asked, "I looked everywhere for you."  
"Hun, I'm fine, he just gave us a place to stay. FREE of charge."  
"Yeah," I said, "I figured since you guys have been gone for so long, I thought you needed a place too stay."  
He thought about it.  
"You will still be able too see your daughters. They stay here most of the time with me anyway."  
"…Alright, as long as we can still see our daughters, I'm okay with staying here."  
"Well then, that's settled." I said.
Me and Solar
It has been almost a year since Neptune and Solar arrived. It's kinda strange, but me and Solar have been getting really close now. Neptune doesn't seem to mind, but I hope it's okay with him. Neptune took his daughters along with Vega and Crystal out for the week, so it was just Solar and me. We had just finished supper one night and were sitting in the living room watching a movie. Suddenly, I felt a small weight lean on my shoulder. I looked to see Solar's head on my shoulder. I let instinct take over and wrapped my arm around her shoulders and stroked her mane, just like I do for the others. She sighs contently and leans closer. I kept stroking her mane. It seems she likes it a lot. Can't blame her really. She's been dead for quiet some time now. Suddenly, she turned and looks at me. Then she wraps her forelegs around my neck and hugs me close.  
"I love you Varis," she said.  
"I love you too, but what about Neptune?"  
"I've already told him how I feel about you," she said.  
"Aaaaaand?"  
"He said he was fine with it."  
"Good," I said, "but what about the others."  
"I don't know," she said.  
"Well, we'll figure that out when it comes around," I said, "Right now, it's just us."  
She smiled at me.  
After the movie was over, we sat there in the peaceful quiet. I looked at her. She looked at me. We both smiled. Suddenly, she leaned in closer. I did the same. Then, our lips connected. We sat there, kissing. She pulled back and stared at me. I stared back.  
"You look beautiful," I said.  
"Thank you," she said.  
"I'm serious, you mane looks like a fire."  
She giggled.  
"You want to sleep with me tonight," I asked.  
"Yeah," she said.  
We went upstairs and went in my room. We walked to the bed and got under the covers. Solar snuggled up closer to me and nuzzled my cheek. I ran my fingers through her mane and she rubbed her nose against my hand. I chuckled.  
"What's do you find funny," she asked.  
"Oh, it's just the you and Tia are so much alike."  
"Well, she is my daughter," she said.  
"Yeah, I guess so."  
She laid her head on my chest and almost instantly fell asleep. I fell asleep a few minutes later.
The Nightmare
(Nightmare)  
I ran down an ally, trying to escape whatever was chasing me. I looked at the wall and saw a piece of paper. I grabbed it and ran. I saw another one and went to grab it. But out of nowhere, a pony appeared and knocked me down. "Oh god, it's SLENDER!!!" I thought, but when I looked up, what I saw was even more scary the Slender. Looking at me, eating my soul and sanity, was Tia.  
(End nightmare)  
"AAARRRGGGG!!!" I shot up, sweating and panting.  
"What's wrong, hun," Solar asked, waking up.  
"Sorry, just a nightmare," I said.  
"Tell me, it will help you get it out of your system."  
"I don't think that's a good idea," I said.  
"Please Varis, it will help," she said.  
"Alright," I said.  
"On earth there is a game called Slenderman, it's a horror game so you can imagine. In my dream, I was being chased by him, or at least I thought it was him. As I was running, it teleported in front of me and knocked me down. Now, Slenderman in the game is this guy who eats your soul and devours your sanity. But instead of Slenderman eating my soul and sanity, it was Tia." By now I had been crying.  
Solar moved closer and hugged me tight.  
"It's okay, it was just a nightmare."  
"Yeah," I said, "Nightmare." "But with my luck, it won't be a dream next time."  
"Thanks Solar, that helped ease the pain."  
"Good, well goodnight," she said.  
I laid back down and closed my eyes. Before I could fall asleep, I felt something rest on my chest. I looked down to see Solar head there. I smiled and rested my hand on her neck. She sighed and her breathing took on a rhythm as she fell asleep. After a minute, I finally let sleep take me and drifted off to dreamland.
Slendermane
I woke up and looked down and saw that Solar wasn't there. I got up and changed into Aethor. I trotted downstairs to see Solar making breakfast.  
"Uhh, what are you doing Solar," I asked.  
"What does it look like I'm doing," she said, "I'm making breakfast."  
"You didn't need too," I said.  
"And wake you up after that horrid nightmare, I think not."  
"Well then, thank you," I said.  
"You're quite welcome," she said.  
After breakfast, I decided too go for a walk through the Everfree. 1/2 hour later I stood at the edge of the Everfree. I looked back to make sure no pony had followed me, and walked into the forest. I didn't know where I was going, then again I wasn't supposed to. I knew who I was looking for though. As I walked through the forest, I started to get a really bad headache.  
"I've been looking for you," I said. I wasn't expecting an answer, but I got one.  
Why? A voice said in my mind.  
"I need your help," I said, then I saw her. Slendermane.  
What do you need my help for? She asked in my head.  
"I want to know why I've been having the same nightmare repeatedly," I said.  
And what do I get in return?  
"What do you want?"  
…I want you too take one of the demons inside me.  
"What kind of demon are we talking about?"  
The one that gives me my powers, but he gets really angry really quick.  
"How angry?"  
If you are mad enough, it will take over and if it does, it will kill everything closest to you.  
"…Deal."  
What!? Just like that?  
"Anything to get rid of these nightmares, yes."  
Very well, come here.  
I walked over to her. She put her hand on my chest and I felt a horrible pain as the demon entered my mind.  
[demon talking]

"No problem."  
Now, as for why you are having those nightmares, it's because they are what your ancestor thought of Celestia.  
"But why would my ancestor think Tia is like Slenderman or mane in this case."  
I do not know. But until you confront this ancestor, you will keep having that nightmare.  
"How do I find this ancestor?"  
You will find her after the last. Then she vanished.

Vega and Slendermane
[demon talking]  
{me talking}  
I was walking home from the forest, when I saw Vega flying by.  
"VEGA," I shouted as I took off after her.  
She looked back and saw me. Suddenly I was on the ground with a light blue alicorn on top of me.  
[you weren't kidding]  
{no I wasn't}  
"Ohh Varis, I've missed you so much," she said.  
"I've missed you too."  
"What were you doing out here anyway?" She asked.  
"Well," I began, trying to think of the bet way to say this, "Have you heard of Slendermane?"  
"Yeah, Celestia told me about her. Why?"  
"Well, I kinda went and talked to her?"  
Her eyes widen in fear, shock, anger, concern, everything. I was scared.  
"WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING!!!" She yelled.  
"I needed to find out why I was having the same nightmare again and again," I said.  
"Why would you seek HER out?"  
"Because the nightmare had things to do about her. And she is an expert at understanding nightmares."  
Indeed I am.  
"Oh. Hi Slendermane," I said.  
Vega turned around and saw her. She froze in terror.  
"Vega, calm down, she's not going to hurt you."  
I would never to such a thing. I rely on you for protection.  
Vega seemed particularly interested hearing this.  
"What do you mean," she asked.  
I rely on shadows for my power. Without them; I'm powerless. That is why I avoid Celestia.  
"Well," I said, "It's good to see that you two are getting acquainted. But what is it you wanted Slender?"  
I need you to tell Celestia that I never harmed any of her ponies. She seems to think that I killed all of her ponies that entered this forest.  
"I'll be sure to tell her," I said, reassuringly.  
Thank you.  
"Well, I'd better head home, and you better get back too Neptune," I said to Vega.  
"Ok. Bye Varis."  
I waved and took off to go home.  
I'm sorry Solar  
I was just about to open my door when it opened and a white alicorn with a fiery mane tackle hugged me.  
"Where did you go," she cried.  
"I don't thinking should tell you, you'll get mad at me."  
"Please," she said, giving me those puppy dog eyes.  
{HHHHHHNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG}  
[AHH, IT'S TOO CUTE, MAKE IT STOP, MAKE IT STOP]  
I guess she was reading my mind, because she heard the demon and she knew who it was.  
"You didn't," she mumbled to me.  
"I had to, I'm sorry."  
She looked away and wouldn't look at me. I put my hand under her chin and turned her too look at me. Her eyes were red and puffy. I leaned in and kissed her. Her eyes widen and her body went slack in my arms.  
"I will never do anything to hurt you in anyway," I said, "And if I do, you have my say to hit me as hard as you can too knock some sense into me, ok."  
She nodded.  
"Good," I said.  
[Kiss ass]  
{Don't make me tell her to break out the puppy dog eyes}  
[You wouldn't]  
{Try me}  
I walked her inside and I made supper. I decided to make broccoli casserole.  
"What is this," Solar asked, taking her first bite.  
"It's called broccoli casserole."  
"It's amazing!" She took another bite.  
"I'm glad you like it," I said.  
[Kiss ass]  
"Hey Solar," I said.  
"Hmm?"  
The demon knew what I was doing and said,  
[NO! PLEASE DON'T, I BEG OF YOU]  
"Never mind."  
"Ok," she said.  
We finished our food and walked into the living room and watched a movie. We just sat there, cuddling. After the movie was over we went upstairs and fell right asleep.
The Nightmare, Again
I ran threw the back roads. I saw the last piece of paper. I grabbed it and ran for the exit. I got to the entrance and saw a human standing there.   
"Who are you?" I asked.  
"My name is Farnis."  
"Are you my ancestor that hated Tia?"  
"Yes."  
"Why," I asked.  
"Because, she lied to me!"  
"About what?"  
"She said that I could go back to earth, but I never did."  
"Ohh," I said, "I'm sorry, but I'm sure Tia had her reasons."  
"You're right, she must've had reasons. Thank you."  
"Any day."  
I awoke and sat up. I looked over at Solar. I reached over and scratched her behind the ear. She sighed. I got up and went to the bathroom. I walked up to the mirror and splashed water on my face and looked at myself. It was the first time I had seen myself as an alicorn. Suddenly, Solar appeared in the doorway.  
"Are you alright," she asked.  
I looked back at her.  
"Yeah, I'm fine." I really wasn't.  
"Tell me what's wrong."  
"Alright," I said, "I know I won't be having that nightmare ever again. But what I heard, I heard that Tia promised that she would take my ancestor back to earth, but never did."  
I looked down.  
"I knew she had her reasons," I said, "But……I don't know." I started to cry.  
Solar walked over and nuzzled me under the neck and I nuzzled her back.  
"It's okay," she said, "Tia still loves you, as do I."  
I calmed down and kept nuzzling her.  
"Thank you," I said.  
"I'm always here to help."  
I smiled and walked with her back to the bed. We got in and I closed my eyes. Then I felt something rest against my head. I looked to see Solar laying there. I smiled and nuzzled her behind her neck. She nuzzled back. I laid back down and fell asleep.
NOOOOOOOO!!!!
I woke up and found Solar sleeping next to me. I reached over and scratched her behind the ear again. She rubbed her head against my hand and woke up.  
"Morning," I said.  
"Morning."  
We got up and I went and made breakfast. After we finished breakfast, we left the house to meet the others. We were flying to the temple (we were going to meet them there) and waited for them too show up.   
They never did.  
"Are you sure we were supposed to meet them here," Solar asked.  
"Yes I'm sure."  
We walked outside to see if they were flying around. They weren't.  
"We have to find them," I said.  
We took off and flew all over the forest. We didn't see any of them. We were about to give up when we heard a terrified shriek. We flew towards the source of the sound to see them being attacked by 3 HYDRAS!!! Solar and I flew in and shot bolts of magic at the hydras to get their attention. It worked. We were now fighting 3 hydras and were not doing well. I took a hit and was slammed to the ground. Solar took a hit and was slammed into a tree. I rushed over too her and yanked her out of the way as a hydras head smashed the tree she was just under. I cast a quick healing spell and said, "Are you OK?"  
"Yeah, thanks."  
We flew in again for the attack. I changed human and stabbed one in the chest. I had a lot of experience fighting hydras as a human. It died instantly. Solar had taken one out by putting a hole in its chest. But the last one had made it to Tia and was coming down on her. She tried to put up a shield, but wasn't fast enough. The hydra's claw hit her and left a bloody gash across her side.  
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," I shouted, anger reaching an explosive level. I charged the hydra and charged a very powerful spell that would obliterate the thing, and probably kill me. The Celestial Lightning. Once it was fully charged, my horn glowed brighter than the sun. My horn had flames coming off of it and was starting to shoot lightning all around. The spell I was about to cast would probably kill me, but I didn't care. I fired the Celestial Lightning and as soon it connected with the hydra, it disintegrated. I almost fell to the ground but caught myself and stumbled over to Tia. I put my horn to her side and used whatever power I had left to heal her. The gash mended. But as soon as I was finished, I hit the ground, dead.
Why?
(POV change to Solar)  
"AETHOR," I screamed as I ran to his body. I picked him up in my hooves and looked at him. He was dead. I held him close and cried softly. Soon Tia woke up and looked around.  
"What happe-" she stopped as she looked in my arms.  
"No, not again."  
I just nodded, still crying.  
"He sacrificed himself to save you, then he use the last of his life to heal you." I said.  
All she could do was stare at what she thought was her fault.  
"It's all my fault," she yelled into the sky.  
"No Tia, it's not your fault," I said, "There was nothing you could've done."  
She and I cried for the next week.  
(POV change Aethor/Varis)  
I awoke on a field of flowers. I stood up and came face to face with Slendermane.  
Why did you allow your self too die?  
"I was protecting my friends," I yelled, "Something you never did!"  
How DARE you! The reason I never protected my friends is because I did want to hurt them.  
"I see."  
You have NO IDEA what I've had to go through. I had to leave MY friends because of what that demon did to me.  
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know. I'm just upset that I dead YET again."  
Well, I can bring you back. But it's will come with a cost.  
"What kind of cost?"  
You have to bring Tia to me and allow me to talk to her.  
"……Alright, as long as you don't hurt her, I'll bring her to you. Where do you want me to bring her?"  
Take her to the temple and have her wait there with you.  
"Ok."  
Are you ready?  
"Yes."  
Suddenly, I was again in a box 6 feet under.  
"Stop mocking me box," I yelled as I broke the surface. I crawled out and looked around. Then I took off in the direction of the castle. I found Tia in her room, crying. I walked in and left a note that said to meet me at the temple. I signed my name and told her not to tell anypony that I was alive.
Tia and Slendermane
I was pacing around the castle when I heard the rapid beating of wings. I looked to see an overly excited Tia flying towards me.  
"Oh shit!" I thought as I was tackled to the ground. Tia hugged the life out of me.   
"VARIS," she yelled.  
"I've missed you Tia," I said.  
"Why did you do it?"  
"Wait until we get the others, right now, there is someone who wants to apologize too you."  
Suddenly, Slendermane appeared in front of Tia. She screamed.  
"TIA, calm down!"  
I don't want to hurt you. I just want to talk.  
"W-What do y-you want," she asked.  
I wanted to apologize for a misunderstanding.  
"What misunderstanding," Tia asked.  
I never meant killed any of your ponies. When they came in the forest, I tried to get them to leave, but they saw me and ran; traumatized.  
Tia stood there, shocked.  
"I-I didn't know."  
It's alright. You didn't know. I forgive you. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go. And with that she left. Tia stood there for a minute, then hugged me and kissed me.  
"Varis, we've missed you so much."  
"I've missed you too," I said, "Now, why don't we go find the others?"  
"Ok."  
We flew out the of the temple and flew to the castle.
Facing the Pissed Marefriends
Tia walked into the castle while I hid in the gardens. Soon I heard Tia bring the others past the place I was hiding in. As they past, I snuck up behind them. Suddenly, I tackled Solar and Luna, only to be running for my life as they shot bolts of magic at me. They stopped as soon as they saw me.  
"It's good to see you girls can still fight," I said. "I've missed you."  
Then Solar ran up and tackled me and hugged the life out of me.  
"Ohh Varis, I'm sorry I couldn't help you." She cried softly into my mane.  
"It's alright," I said, "There was nothing you could do."   
"I'm glad you're back," she said.  
"Me too."  
Tia walked up behind me and nuzzled my mane.  
"Why did you do it," she asked.  
"Because," I said, "You, Luna, Vega, Crystal, and Solar mean so much to me, and I knew that without you, I would never be able to live with myself knowing that I could have saved you."  
"Thank you," she said.  
"You're welcome."  
"Hey, Varis," Solar said.  
"Yes?"  
"What was that spell that you used to kill the hydra?"  
"I used the most powerful spell known to pony kind, one that no pony has ever accomplished without dying. The Celestial Lightning."  
Solar's eyes widen and their jaws hit the ground.  
"But-but nopony has ever accomplished that spell, not even the most powerful alicorn was able to do it," Solar said, shocked.  
"Well," I said, "I survived the spell itself, but just barely. I used the last of my power to heal Tia and the amount of magic I used had killed me."   
They just sat there, shocked.  
"How?" They asked.  
"I used my anger to fuel my magic. Once I cast the spell, I had no anger left and had barely any magic left." I said this with no emotion.  
They just looked at me.  
"I can't believe you could cast that spell, without dying." Solar looked at me, "How did you get so powerful?"  
"My power is fueled by anger, so if I'm really angry, stay away." I stared at them to emphasize my point.  
"Alright," they said.  
"Good. Now, where are the others?"  
"They aren't here. In fact, I don't know where they are," Luna said.  
"Well, lets go find them," I said, walking to the forest.
The Ursa Major
I flew around looking for the other 2. Suddenly, I heard a terrified scream. I flew to the source and saw Vega and Crystal being attacked by a URSA MAJOR! I flew at the monster and fired a spell at it to get its attention. I did. It turned to me and roared. I fired another spell and hit it right in the face. It roared in pain. It swung at me and I hit the ground. I got up and flew at it again. I knew the only way to kill this thing was to use the Celestial Lightning again. I knew I could survive this time, but I would be in the hospital for a while. I didn't care. I charged up the spell and fired. I screamed at the amount of energy was taken from me, but it worked. The spell hit its mark and killed the Ursa Major. It fell to the ground, dead. Before I knew it; I was falling to the ground; knock out cold. Before I was though, I heard Crystal yell and catch me.
The Hospital
I woke up in a very uncomfortable bed and in a room all white. I felt a weight on my chest and looked done to see Solar, Tia, Luna, Crystal, and Vega crying on my chest.  
"You can't be dead," Solar said, "We need you."  
"Please come back," Luna cried.  
I smiled and said, "Didn't I tell you that I wasn't going to leave you girls?"  
They gasped and looked at me. Then they dove at me and hugged the life out of me. Then I heard a chuckle.   
"It's good to see that they still love you." My eyes widen, because I knew who that was.  
"Neptune look, I can explained." I was scared of what he might do since I was dating his wife.  
"Oh, I bet you can," he said as he got up and walked over to me. I was done for, but I wasn't going down without a fight. I teleported away and ran like a bitch. I heard the ping of a teleportation spell and looked to see Neptune looking at me. I turned and stared back.   
"What do you want with me," I asked.  
"I want to know why me wife loves you," he said.  
"I don't know, ever since you guys came back, we started to get closer."  
"Good."  
I stared at him, my jaw on the ground.  
"What do you mean 'good'," I asked.  
"Well, I glad that she loves you. I know that I still love her with all my heart, but I can't always provide for her. So I'm glad that you can."  
"So you're okay with me dating her," I asked, still having second thoughts.  
"Yes, I am."  
I let out a sigh of relief.  
"But," he said, "If you hurt her in anyway, you will regret it."  
"I will never hurt any of them as long as I have a say if I do."  
He nodded. We walked back to the hospital to find 5 terrified mares waiting for us.  
"Neptune," Solar said, "What did you do to him?"   
"It's alright Solar," I said, "We came to an agreement."  
She let out a sigh of relief.  
"Well then," I said, "Why don't we go home and get some rest on a proper bed?"  
"Sounds good to us," they said.  
"Good."  
We went home and somehow managed to fit 5 mares and a human on my bed and sleep comfortably.  
"Goodnight," I said, "I love you."  
"We love you to," they replied.  
I smiled and went to sleep.
Discord's 2nd return
I woke up and found all 5 mares were sleeping on my chest. I reached down and stroked Solar's mane. She sighed happily and nuzzled my neck.  
"Good morning," I said.  
"Good morning."  
I woke up the others and we went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and made some breakfast. We finished breakfast and went outside. What we saw made us sigh in annoyance.  
"Why doesn't he take a hint," I said.  
"I don't know," Tia replied.  
I flew up and saw Discord sitting there.  
"Don't you take a hint Discord," I said, flying up too him.  
"Yes I do," he said, "I know you don't want me here, but I just want some friends."  
"Uh uh, well you ain't doing it right."  
"You think I don't know that!" He threw his hands up in the air, "Every time I try to make friends, they run off, terrified by the way I look."  
"Well, why don't we try again?" I stared at him.  
"Fine." He crossed his arms.  
"Great, lets go."  
I walked him trough Ponyville and took him to the library.  
"This is where Twilight Sparkle lives." I knocked on the door.  
I heard a "Just a second" then she answered the door.  
"Hey Twil- oomph," I was tackled by a purple unicorn.  
"VARIS," she yelled, "How are you alive, you've been gone for so long."  
My eyes widen as I remembered something.  
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you."   
She hit me with her hoof.  
"Alright, I'm sorry."  
"What did you want," she asked.  
"Twi, you've met Discord, right?"  
She looked and saw Discord standing there.  
"Uhh, hi," he said.  
"DISCORD, WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!"  
"Twi," I said, "He just wants to talk."  
"Yes, that's all I want."  
"Well," she said, "Get on with it."  
"You see," he began, "All I've tried to do was make some friends. But everyone runs off before I can talk to them."  
"I see."  
"So," I said, "I brought him here to see if you could help him."  
"……Alright, I'll help him."  
"Thank you," he said.  
"But, you have to promise never to use your powers for evil, only for good."  
"I Pinkie Promise."  
My eyes widen.  
"NOOOOOOO," I shouted.  
Suddenly, I was on the ground with a VERY pissed off pink mare on top of me.  
"VARIS," Pinkie Pie yelled, "WHERE THE BUCK HAVE YOU BEEN. I DON'T THINK I SHOUND EVEN BOTHER HAVING A PARTY FOR YOU."  
I was curled up in a ball on the ground, scared shitless. Pinkie was the ONLY thing that I was scared of.  
"P-please, d-don't hurt m-me," I stuttered.  
Then she put that huge smile back on.  
"IT'S PARTY TIME," she yelled.  
I'd had enough of this shit and walked over to Twilight.  
"Twi, listen," I said, "I need you to see something, you too Discord."  
"Okay," they said.  
"Now when you see them, just stay calm and don't hug the life out of them."  
"Wait wha-," she was cut short by me teleporting to my house, where Tia, Luna, Vega, Crystal, and Solar were sitting. Tia's eyes widen when she saw Twilight.  
"Oh SHI- oomph," was all she said before being hug to death by Twilight.  
"Princess, you're alive!!!"  
Tia gave my a look that said, "I'll kill you later." I just laughed.  
Once Twilight calmed down, she finally noticed a white alicorn with a fiery mane.  
"I-is t-that q-queen S-Solar," she asked, shocked.  
"It is me child," Solar said in a kind tone. Twilight immediately dropped to the ground, bowing.  
"Your highness, It's good to know that you're back." She said.  
Solar just smiled.  
"Rise child."  
Twi did.  
"You don't have to refer to me like that, I am no longer queen," she said.  
"As you wish," she said, "Then what should I call you?"  
"Just Solar would be fine," Solar said.  
"Ok," Twi said.  
"Well," I said, "Now that that's settled, Twi, you were going to teach Discord?"  
"Yes."  
"Good. Then me, Tia, and Luna have a VERY long day tomorrow."  
"What do you mean," Tia asked, a confused look on her face.  
"You don't want to know," was all I said before going up stairs and laying on my bed. I was about to fall asleep when I felt a weight rest on my back. I turned my head and saw Tia, Luna, and Solar heads resting on my back. I smiled; turned human, and rubbed their manes and necks. They all sighed contently, smiled, and nuzzled me.  
"I love you girls," I said.  
"Love you too," they said.
Great and Powerful no more
I was walking though the forest when I ran into a VERY famous mare. (And not the good famous either)  
"The great and powerful Trixie dema-." She stopped as soon as she saw me and bowed.  
"My apologies," she said, "Trix- I mean, I should have been watching where I was going."  
"Rise Trixie," I said. She rose.  
"It was not your fault. I was too busy admiring the scenery that I didn't see you walking there."  
"I understand, your highness."  
I looked at her; amused.  
"Please Trixie," I said, "Just call me Aethor. I hate titles."  
"Very well," she said.  
"Now then," I said, "Why don't we talk for a while?"  
"Okay."  
We walked through the forest and I said,  
"Where are you from?" I immediately regretted asking.  
She looked down with a sad face.  
"Look; Trixie," I said, "If you don't want to talk abo-."  
"No, it's fine," she said, "You asked so I will tell you."  
"I'm originally from Manehatten," she began, "But I travel a lot so I really don't have a home any more." She looked like she was going to cry.  
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, you can live with me if you want."  
She looked at me in shock.  
"You would let me stay with you?" She asked in a shock tone.  
"Yes, I always help a friend in need. And you are my friend."  
Then she did something I didn't expect. She jumped at me, threw her forelegs around me and hugged me.  
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou so much." She cried into my mane.  
I turned human and stroked her mane and said,  
"It's fine, you will always be welcome to stay with me if you need to."  
"Thank you."  
"Well, lets go home then," I said. I walked her to my house and we walked inside. I wasn't expecting Twilight to still be there, so I didn't even bother to warn her. But as soon as Twilight saw her; she got pissed. And I mean PISSED. She charged up a killing spell. I knew it was a killing spell because it was one I used. A Lightning Strike. Twilight fired it at Trixie. I wasn't about to let Twilight kill a good friend of mine, so I dove in front of her and instead the spell hit me. I screamed in pain and fell to the floor. I was withering in pain. I was just barely conscious, so I couldn't understand what Tia was saying, but I could tell she was screaming. I looked at her and mouthed, "Punish her," and then I passed out.
Yelling at Twilight
I woke up again in a uncomfortable bed. I sat up and looked around. I saw Trixie sleeping on a chair, Twilight was on the floor. What I saw next made me wish I was dead. I saw the rest of the Elements of Harmony sleeping around the floor. Then I noticed a slight weight on my chest. I looked down and saw Tia, Solar, Luna, Crystal, and Vega crying on my chest.  
"Why did you do that Twilight," Tia cried.  
"Why did he protect her," Luna said.  
"Because she was my friend and Twilight needs to control her emotions," I said, loud enough to wake everyone up. They all looked at me, then the 5 on my chest hugged me.  
"Varis, why did you do that?" Tia looked at me with a sad look.  
"Because," I said, "Trixie is my friend, and I would do anything for my friends. You know that Tia."   
"Yeah, I do."  
"And as for you Twilight," I said, looking at her like I was going to kill her. And was trying really hard not to, "What the FUCK is wrong with you? Why the hell would you just attack Trixie because she walked in the door?" I said the last bit in a sarcastic voice. "You need to control your fucking emotions before I control them for you. And you don't want me to do that."  
By now, Twilight had been crying. She looked at me like she was scared.  
"I-I'm s-sorry, I-I thought s-she was g-going to h-hurt us," she said, scared.  
"That is NO reason to try and kill her. Do you know what I would have done to you had that spell hit her?" I stared at her.  
"N-no," she said.  
"I would have beat the living SHIT out of you until you couldn't sit it hurt so bad. Then I would have Tia chain me against the wall so that I didn't kill you!!!"  
She cried and ran out the door. I looked at Tia with a remorseful face.  
"I'm sorry," I said, "I'll talk to her later, after my temper has cooled off."  
She nodded and I looked at Trixie.  
"Are you alright," I asked.  
"Yeah," she said, "I'm fine."  
"Good," I said. I looked around the room at the other ponies.  
"Look, I'm sure you girls are wondering what happened, but you'll just have to wait. I have to go talk to Twilight." I got out of the bed and walked to the door.  
"Oh," I said, looking back, "And if any of you try to follow me or STOP me, you're in for a world of hurt. Trixie, come with me please."  
She nodded and followed. We made our way through town. All the ponies gave Trixie looks like they wanted to kill her. One ever had the balls to walk up to her and try to punch her, but I grabbed his hoof and with a quick twist, broke it.  
"Try that again," I said, "I dare you."  
He ran off to the hospital. We kept walking through the town. The rest of the ponies decided to avoid us. Finally, we made it to the library. I walked up to the door and knocked. After a minute, Spike answer.  
"Hello," I said, "I need to speak with Twilight Sparkle."  
He nodded and let me inside. I walked in and as soon as she saw me, she tried to dive out the window. I grabbed her with my magic and pinned her against the wall. She screamed.  
"SHUT IT," I said. She did.  
"Now," I said, "I want you to apologize to Trixie here for the way you acted."  
I put her down and looked at her. She nodded and walked up to Trixie.  
"Look, Trixie," she said, "I'm really sorry, and I mean it. Not because Aethor would kill me if I didn't, but because I overreacted. So for that I am sorry."  
She looked at Trixie, held out her hoof, and said, "Friends?"  
Trixie grabbed her hoof and said, "Friends."  
"Good," I said, "Now that I don't have to hurt you, I came to apologize for what I said and how I acted. I knew you were there when I brought Trixie in, but I should have told you that. So it was my fault that this happened. So I'm sorry too."  
I looked at them and smiled. They smiled back.  
"Well, now that were all friends again, why don't we go visit the others?"  
"Okay."  
We walked back though town and we made it to my house. We walked in and I found myself and Twilight back outside and on the ground, both of us with 5 mares on top of us.  
"Aethor, what did you do," Solar asked.  
"I just told Twilight to apologize to Trixie and I apologized to Twilight."  
"Well," Tia said, "As long as you didn't hurt her, that's fine."  
I got up and went inside. Trixie followed me. I lead her to where she would stay.  
"And this is you room," I said. I opened the door and showed he inside. She gasped.  
I gave her the second largest room in the house. It was big enough so she could practice some spells if she wanted to.  
"Thank you," she said.  
"No problem, I always help a friend." I smiled at her.  
"Well," I said, "I think it's time for bed, I'm tired."  
She nodded and got into the bed and fell asleep. I walked to my room and laid on the bed. As I was about to fall asleep however, I felt a head lay on my chest. "Just one," I thought. I looked down and saw Solar laying there.  
"Solar," I said, "Where are the others?"  
"They aren't here," she said. Her voice didn't sound the same.  
"Solar, are you okay?" I looked at her.  
"Oh, Solar is just fine," she said. I knew who it was, and it wasn't Solar.
Changeling
"Changeling," I said. I grabbed her horn and threw her a across the room.  
"Where did you take them Crysalis" I said.  
"Oh, somewhere you won't find them."  
"Oh I already have an idea where you sent them." I looked at her.  
"Do you now," she said.  
"I didn't," I said, "But now I do."  
She looked back at my as I charged at her. I grabbed her by the mane and teleported……to the moon.
The Moon
I looked around and I saw that we were on the moon. I grabbed Crysalis and threw her to the ground. I grabbed her neck and lifted her up.  
"Why are you doing this again Crysalis?"  
"Because," she gasped, "You...don't...love...me...any...more."  
I dropped her. She laid there; gasping for breath.  
"I will always love you, Crystal."  
She looked up at me; tears in her eyes.  
"Then why don't I see you anymore," she asked.  
"Because," I said, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep the princesses in check AND alive?"  
"No," she said.  
"Pretty fucking hard," I said, "I've died 5 times keeping them alive.  
She giggled.  
"So you see," I said, sorrow in my voice, "I never wanted to ignore you, I just haven't had the time to visit you."  
"Yeah," she said.  
"But from now on, I Pinkie Promise to visit you as often as possible."  
She looked at me for a minute; then she started to cry. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her and hugged her.  
"Listen, it's not your fault. It's mine. I should have payed more attention to you and Vega." I looked her in the eye.  
After about 5 minutes she calmed down.  
"You okay," I asked.  
She nodded.  
"Good. Now where are the others?"  
"Follow me," she said.  
We walked around the moon and into a crater. I looked in it and saw Tia, Luna, Vega, and Solar sitting there.  
"Hey girls," I said, "Having fun?"   
"Fuck you too Aethor," Luna said.  
"LUNA," Tia said, "Don't you start cursing too."  
"Why," she said, "He just let Crysalis take us to my moon."  
"HEY," I said, "Will you two just calm down. Jeez it's like dealing with a bunch of fillies."  
"HEY," they shouted.  
"He's got a point," Solar said.  
"But mom."  
"You two were the same way with me."  
They sighed in defeat.  
"Well, why don't we go home now," I said.  
"Okay."
Vega
I teleported us home and they went too bed. I however had a mission that I had to complete. Walked down the old path to the temple of the two sisters and walked inside. I walked around until I found who I was looking for. Sitting in front of what was once where the statutes of the king and queen were; stood Vega. I walked up to her and stood behind her. She didn't seem to notice me, so I walked up to her and rested my hand on her shoulder. She instantly moved away and shot a bolt of magic at me. I dove to the side and it missed by mere inches.  
"WHAT DO YOU WANT VARIS," she asked.  
"I know why you're mad," I said, "And that's why I'm here; to correct my mistake."  
She looked at me for a moment before scowling and charging me. I side-stepped and grabbed her mane.   
"Vega, why are you doing this," I asked.  
"You had your chance," she said. "I HATE YOU."  
She charged at me again and this time I let it go through. When it hit me, I felt no pain. I looked down and saw it had gone all the way through.  
"I will always love you Vega," I said. And with that; I died.
Remorse
(POV change to Vega)  
I heard someone say, "I will always love you, Vega," and I looked up and saw a dead body on my horn.  
"VARIS," I shouted. I got him off my horn and looked at him. He was dead. I had killed him. I killed the only friend I had, and the last words I said to him were, "I hate you." I will always regret saying that. I looked down at him again. I picked him up in my fore arms and held him close. I cried for hours. I don't know how long I sat there but finally got up and carried him back to Canterlot. I walked through the town; not caring that everyone was looking at the dead body I carried. I was heading to a place that I will regret going to. I was headed to the royal castle.
A Choice
(POV change to Varis/Aethor)  
I woke up in the same place as before, but this time instead of the figure; I saw my mother.  
"M-mom," I said, "I-is that y-you?"  
"Yes Varis," she said, "It is me. But you need to make a choice."   
"What choice," I asked.  
"You need to chose wether to follow me to the afterlife, or to return to those who need you the most."  
"You mean Tia," I said.  
"Yes," she replied, "You need to make your choice quickly. Vega is taking your body to the castle right now."  
My eyes widen.  
"Make your choice," she said.  
I thought for a moment. I made my decision.  
"How do I get back," I asked.  
"Follow me," she said. She walked towards what looked like a tunnel. I followed her.  
"Follow this tunnel and you will go back."  
I nodded and walked through the tunnel. After a while I felt myself floating. Then I heard crying. It was Vega. Then I saw where we were. She was carrying me through Canterlot. All the ponies were staring. I tried to see where we were going, but I got my answer to soon. I heard someone say, "HALT," and then metal hitting the ground. Vega continued to walk. I had to stop her before she made it inside. She walked through the gardens. Now was my chance. I broke out of her grip, tackled her, and put my hand over her mouth.  
"Listen," I said, "When I remove my hand; you are going to be quiet. Ok?"  
She nodded.  
I remove my hand and she gasped.  
"A-Aethor, h-how are y-you alive?" She stared at me.  
"I'll tell you later," I said, "But right now, you need to tell me what were you thinking bringing me here?"  
She looked down.  
"Do you remember what happened to Luna when she did that."  
She nodded.  
"And," I continued, "I'm pretty sure Tia and Solar would be a hell of a lot worse to you than they were to Luna."  
She nodded.  
"Look, I'm not mad at you, I'm just saying you need to think things through."  
"How can you not be mad at me," she asked, "I killed you."  
"And so did Luna, but was I mad at her?"  
"No," she said, "You weren't."  
"I will always love you Vega, never forget that." I walked up to her and hugged her.  
She started to cry on my shoulder. Then the worst thing that could have happened did.
I'm Screwed
Tia walked through the gardens and saw us. Before I could explain, she saw the hole in my chest and the blood on Vega's horn. Her eyes flashed with anger and she charged Vega. I saw this coming so I dove at Tia and pinned her to the ground.  
"Tia, stop this now," I shouted.  
She looked at me with confusion.  
"What do you mean STOP," she asked, "She tried to kill you."  
"And so did Luna," I replied.  
She looked down and I could see her trying not to cry. I got off her and hugged her.  
"It's alright Tia, you were just looking out for me."   
She sniffed and I felt her tears on my shoulder. I rubbed her back and stroked her mane until she was done. Once she was; I pulled back and looked at her.  
"Listen Tia," I said, "You need to control your emotions."  
She looked down.  
"I know," she said.  
"Then why did you attack Vega?"  
"I don't know what came over me," she said.  
I do. Someone said.  
I knew that voice, and I wasn't happy to hear it.  
Slendermane will die  
"Slendermane," I said, turning to look at her.  
Hello  
"You have some guts to show yourself here."  
Well, I am Slendermane.  
"I suggest you leave, because I'm debating wether or not to kill you."  
You can't kill me.  
"You want to bet on that," I asked.  
Yes.  
"Fine."  
I drew my scythes and charged. She saw this and teleported behind me. I felt something wrap around my waist. I look down and saw one of her tentacle things had grabbed me and was trying to crush me. I swung my scythe at it and as it connected with it, the tentacle fell to the ground.  
AHHH, you son of a bitch.  
That set me off; her saying that my mom was a bitch. My pupils dilated. My hair turned black, and my eyes were covered in black. I looked at her and even though she had no facial expression; I could tell she was scared.  
"YOU WILL NEVER CALL MY MOM A BITCH AGAIN!!!" I charged her and put scythes together and created the Death Scythe. These weapons that I had made had been given the ability to join together and create the most powerful weapon in existence. This weapon that I now held was powerful enough to destroy the earth if struck correctly. My weapon and my true form were unstoppable. I ran at Slender and swung. She teleported way just in time to see my scythe hit the ground. As soon as it connected; the earth shook at everypony fell to the ground except me. I walked up to Slender and stared at her. She stared back.  
"This is what you get for disrespecting me and disrespecting my mother."   
I brought my scythe above my head, but I hesitated. Why was I doing this. I shouldn't kill her. But those thoughts were turned to anger as Slendermane grabbed my legs and tried to throw me. I grabbed her tentacles and held her up. I swung my scythe and she fell to the ground, her tentacles still in my hand. I tossed them and I again brought my scythe above my head. This time I didn't hesitate. I brought my scythe down on her and as soon as it connected; an explosion blew up in my face. I just stood there. When the dust had died down, all that was left of Slender was her tentacles that I had threw. I looked at the damaged I had caused. Then I looked at Tia and Vega. Then I fell to the ground, unconscious.
The Hospital…again
I woke up in the uncomfortable bed again and looked around. I was in the fucking hospital again. I fell a small weight on my chest and looked down to see only Vega there, crying.  
"This is all my fault," she said.  
"No it isn't," I said.  
She looked up and saw me. Then she just looked down.  
"What's wrong," I asked.   
"They gave up on you," she said.  
"Who did?"  
"The others," she answered.  
"Why?"  
"Because, you've been out for 3 years."  
"WHAT!?!?"  
She just looked down.  
"I need to have a little chat with them." I got up out of bed and walked to the door.  
"You won't find them," she said  
"What do you mean," I asked.  
"They went to earth."  
"THEY DID WHAT!?!?" I was furious.  
"Yeah."  
"Vega, you're coming with me."  
I walked over to her and put my hand on her shoulder, and teleported us to earth.
Finding the others
I walked through the forest with Vega beside me. Suddenly, I heard the flapping of wings. I looked up to see Solar flying above. I was filled with anger. I took off after her and was soon above her. I dove down on her and tackled her to the ground. She screamed.  
"SHUT IT," I yelled.  
"A-Aethor, is that y-you?"  
I scowled at her and grabbed her by the mane and tossed her into a tree.  
"HOW DARE YOU COME TO THIS PLANET AND LEAVE VEGA ALONE TO FEND FOR ME AND HER!!!!!"  
I picked her up again and threw her at another tree.  
"HUH, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT!!!!!"   
I picked her up by the neck and held her above me.  
"TELL ME WHY, WHY WOULD YOU THINK OF DOING THIS. IT'S MY JOB TO PROTECT ALL WORLDS, EVEN IF THAT MEANS KILLING YOU!!!!"  
"We did it because you were dead," she said.  
I instantly gasped and dropped her. She lay there gasping for breath.  
"What," I said, "I was never dead."  
"Yes you were," she answered.  
"But, I was alive, I know I was."  
"No, you did die." This voice came from behind me.  
I turned around to see Vega being held in the air by…"TIA," I shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!"  
"You dare accuse us of harming your planet." She looked at me with anger.  
"Wait, Tia cal-," I didn't get to finish because she fired a spell at me and I hit the ground.  
I'd had enough of this shit. I got up and drew my scythes. I didn't want to do it again, especially not to Tia, but she was a threat to me, my home… and Vega. I again put my scythes together and they changed… and so did I. But this time, I wasn't angry, I was defending. My pupils shrunk, until they were all but white, my wings turned to that of angel wings, and my scythe turned into the Holy Defender. I was even more powerful in this form than I was before. In this form only God could stop me. Tia looked at me with complete and utter terror. I walked up to her, grabbed her mane, and lifted her up to look her in the eyes.  
"Listen to me," I said in a booming voice, "Because I love you, God has let me offer you a second chance. Do you understand?"  
She nodded her head.  
"Good. Now, you will leave this place and you are never to return unless I'm with you. Is that understood?"  
She nodded again.  
I set her down and changed back to Aethor.  
"Now take me to the others," I said.  
She took off and me, Vega, and Solar followed. I flew closer to Vega and asked, "Are you ok?"  
"Yeah, I'm fine."  
I nodded and flew up to Tia.  
"Tia, listen to me. The reason I changed into that form instead of the other one was because God knew you were a threat to this world. You may not know it but you are."  
She looked down.  
"I understand."  
"Good."  
We flew for hours until finally I saw smoke rising from a clearing in the forest. It had to be them. I shot down to the ground and landed. But what I saw was not what I was expecting. It was my old group. Baalasir was there, along with Osric, Tyleia, even Vitros was there.  
"Oh shit," I thought.  
"Hey guys," I said nervously, "Long time no see."  
They were pissed. Baalasir ran up and swung at me. I dodged and flew off; only to be chased by Vitros.   
"Mother Fucker," I mumbled.  
I turned and faced Vitros. I knew what I was about to do, and I was going to regret it. I charged up a spell that would kill Vitros. I didn't want to but I had to. I charged the Celestial Lightning and fired. It hit him square in the chest. He fell to the ground; dead. I would see him later, but I didn't know that. I flew back to the camp with Vitros in my magic.  
"VITROS," Baalasir shouted as I landed.  
"I'm sorry," I said.  
"YOU BASTARD; I'LL KILL YOU, THEN I'LL KILL THOSE WHORES YOU CALL GIRLFRIENDS."  
That pissed me off. I'd been able to take Baalasir's comments about them, but him calling them whores. I wasn't about to let that slide. I put my scythes together and I changed into my true demon form.  
"IF YOU EVER CALL THEM THAT WORD AGAIN, I WON'T HESITATE TO RIP YOUR HEART OUT AND MAKE YOU SWALLOW IT!!!!!"  
"They are WHORES!!!" He obviously didn't know what I could do in this form.  
I grabbed him and threw him into the tree. He got up and tried to attack me. He failed horribly. I grabbed his sword and pinned him against the tree. I threw him to the ground and brought my Death Scythe above my head to finish him.  
"WAIT," a voice shouted, a voice I recognized immediately. I turned to see Luna running towards me. I looked at her then back at Baalasir, who was still cowering in fear. Then it hit me. "What the fuck am I doing?" I changed back into Aethor and flew away.
Why
(POV change to Luna)  
I watched as Aethor flew off. I was about to fly after him when I felt a hoof on my shoulder. I turned to see Tia, Vega, mom, and Crystal standing there.  
"We're coming to," Tia said.  
I smiled.  
"Thanks," I said.  
We flew off and looked for Aethor. 5 hours later we heard what sounded like explosions. We followed the sounds and soon found Aethor standing in a crater. His horn was glowing brighter than the sun. It was shooting lightning all around. I knew what he was trying to do.  
"AETHOR, STOP."  
He looked at me with a remorseful face; then shook his head and cast his spell. He screamed in agony, and all I could do was watch. I watched as the only love in my life burned away and die. Only this time, I knew he wasn't coming back.  
"NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"
Goodbye
(POV change to Aethor/Varis)  
I woke up in emptiness. Then I saw someone walking towards me. It was my mother.  
"Hello Varis," she said.  
"Why am I here again," I asked.  
"Because, you need go back to them."  
"Who," I asked.  
"Your friends."  
"Ohh," I said.  
"Yes, they are already putting you in the coffin."  
"Oh God."  
"Yes."  
"How do I get back," I asked.  
"Follow me," she said.  
I followed her down a dark tunnel, and suddenly, white light began to glow around me.  
"What's happening," I asked.  
"You are being returned," she said.  
The white light continued to get brighter until suddenly, I was in an open coffin. I heard someone talking.  
"…and he will be greatly missed."  
It was Luna. Then I felt the box being lifted and then lowered into a hole. I sat up as quickly as I could and said,  
"The fuck do you think you're doing?"  
They were so scared they dropped the coffin and I painfully landed in the hole.  
"Oww, that hurt," I said.  
I heard someone gasp as I got out of the hole and was tackled from behind.  
"Girls…can't…breathe," I gasped out.  
"Sorry," they all said.  
They let go and I was left gasping for breath. I finally caught my breath and stood up and hugged them.  
"I'm sorry girls, I didn't mean to do that."  
"Well, as long as you back, I'm fine with that." I looked at Luna and kissed her on the forehead. Then I got them off of me and I walked up to Baalasir.  
"Listen, Baalasir," I began.  
"Stop."  
I closed my mouth.  
"I know what you did and why," he said, "And I forgive you."  
"Oh thank God."  
"But," he said, "I don't know if they will." He pointed behind him.  
"OH SHIT," I screamed and flew of; Luna and the others right behind me.  
"What do we do now," Vega asked.  
"We go to Equestria," I replied as I charged the spell.  
"Well," Solar said, "You better hurry up."  
I looked back and saw the dragons were almost on top of us. Finally, the spell was ready and I cast it, but something went horribly wrong. When I cast the spell, the dragons were on top of us. They interfered with the spell and it sent us to a alternate universe. I woke up and looked around. I saw that we were in the temple of the two sisters, but it wasn't ruined. The glass windows were still intact, and the statues were still standing. Then I felt a small weight on my chest. I looked down and saw Crystal unconscious. I gave her a little shake and she woke up.  
"Hey," I said.  
"Where are we," she asked.  
"I think we're in the temple of the two sisters."  
She looked around and nodded her head.  
"Yes, this is the temple."  
We got up and left the room we were in. We kept walking until we ran into someone we didn't think existed.  
"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM," filly Luna shouted.  
"Oh crap," I said as I realized what had happened.  
"What," Crystal asked.  
"The spell went wrong," I said, "It did send us to Equestria, but in an alternate universe where it's in the past."  
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT," filly Luna shouted again.  
"Listen Luna," I began.  
"HOW DO TOU KNOW MY NAME?!"  
"Luna," someone said from down the hall, "Who are you shou-," then that someone saw us and I saw her.  
It was filly Celestia.  
"Uh-oh," I said.  
"What," Crystal asked.  
"If what I heard was true," I explained, "Then filly Celestia is someone we need to avoid."  
"Why?"  
"Because," I continued, "She is more powerful with magic, and she can't control it very well."  
Filly Celestia proved my point by shooting a powerful blast of magic at us; to which I dived to the side and it blew a hole in the wall.  
"WE NEED TO LEAVE NOW," I shouted as the filly began to charge another spell. We ran in the opposite direction and since we've been in here before, were able to find our way out. But as we left the building; we ran into someone else we definitely didn't want to.  
"Oww," the pony said, "What hit me?"  
I looked and saw it was Solar.  
"SHIT," I said as we ran off.  
"HEY," she yelled. She charged a spell and fired. I turned around and charged my own spell. We fired at the same time and our spell met in the middle. We both started to sweat at the strain. Suddenly, filly Celestia joined in and fired her own spell. Suddenly, I was fighting two spells at once. Then I saw another spell fired from beside me. I cast a quick glance and saw Crystal there. I returned my attention back on the fight. We stood there for what felt like hours but was probably only a few minutes, until finally, Solar lost her focus and her spell dropped. The sudden weaken in the defense made our spells shoot at filly Celestia.  
"CRYSTAL," I shouted, "END YOUR SPELL!!!!"  
She did just before it hit Celestia.  
"Are you alright," I asked.  
"WHY DO YOU CARE," Celestia asked.  
"Because, I would never hurt a filly."  
"You tried to kill us," Solar said.  
"No," I said, "We weren't. We were just defending ourselves."  
I walked up to them and stood there.   
"Look," I said, "I'm sorry for scaring you, but we need to know how we can get back home, and you might be the only one who can help us."  
They looked thoughtful.  
"Alright," Solar said, after a few minutes, "We'll help you."  
"Thank you."  
"But, you have to promise to never return."  
"Very well." Then something caught my attention.  
"Hey," I said, "What year is it?"  
"300 b.c. Why?"  
My eyes widen.  
"NO, LUNA!!!"  
I ran inside and to where I had seen Luna. Once I got there, I didn't find Luna, but instead Nightmare Moon.  
"Hahaha," she said, "You are to late, I have already taken Luna's mind."  
"Vega," I said, "Listen to me."  
"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME," she asked.  
"Because, I've seen you before, and you don't need to do this."  
"Yes I do, I shall destroy you, and then there will be eternal night." She laughed menacingly.  
"Really," I said.  
"What?"  
"That's the best you can come up with?" I yawned like I was bored.  
"What do you mean 'best that I can come up with'?"  
"That is the worst way to be evil I've ever heard."  
"What do you mean," she asked.  
"Why do you even want eternal night?"  
"Because," she said, "Everypony ignores my night and relishes in the day!"  
"Do you want to know something," I asked.  
"What?"  
"Do you know even know why ponies sleep through the night?"  
"Because they hate it."  
"No," I said, "Because they work during the day, and they need sleep. But those who don't work admirer the night. They study it, they lay under the stars and watch them, or they just relax under the moon and enjoy themselves. Did you know that nighttime is the most romantic times to enjoy?"  
"I-I didn't know that," she said.  
"So you see, there are plenty of ponies who adore your night. By the way, did you know that the sun is actually a star?"  
"What?"  
"Yeah."  
"I didn't know that."  
"Also, do you know what would happen if people laid in the grass and stared at the sun all day?"  
"No."  
"They would go blind."  
She giggled.  
"So, will you let Luna go now?" I looked at her.  
"Yes, and I hope to met you again sometime."  
"Well, next time it will be under better circumstances."  
She smiled. Then a blue mist lifted off of Luna and she fell to the floor. I looked at the mist and waved. It turned into a pony and waved, then flew off. I turned into a human and I looked down at Luna and picked her up. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I was surprised when she didn't scream when she saw me.  
"W-was all that t-true," she asked.  
"Yes, every single word," I replied.  
She smiled and snuggled closer to my chest. I smiled. I scratched her behind the ear and she sighed. Then Solar, filly Celestia, and Crystal burst through the door, along with at least 30 royal guards.  
"What happened," they asked as I turned around.  
"An evil mist took control of Luna and tried to creat eternal night. But I told her why she was wrong to do that and that ponies enjoyed her night." I looked down at Luna and smiled at her. She smiled back.  
"And once I was done, she released Luna and flew off."  
They all just stared at me. Probably because I was holding Luna in my arms, or that I was a human. I just continued to scratch Luna behind the ear. She seemed to enjoy it.  
"Look," I said, "I'm sorry about what happened earlier. I was just afraid for Crystal and me."  
"I understand," Solar said, "You were just defending yourselves, and I'm sorry about attacking you."  
"It's fine," I said, "You didn't know who I was and defended your children."  
She nodded her head.  
"Oh," I said, "That reminds me." I walked up to Solar and put Luna on her back. "Here's Luna, back to normal."  
"Thank you," she said.  
"Don't mention it."  
"Now," Solar said, "About sending you back…"  
"Right, but first," I walked down the hall, "We need to get the others."  
"Who?"   
"You'll see," I said as I grabbed Crystal and walked out of the temple.  
We flew around for about an hour until I saw Tia flying around.  
"TIA," I shouted.  
She turned her head to the voice and saw me. She flew at me and hugged me.  
"Aethor," she said, "Where are we?"  
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," I said.  
"Fine," she said.  
"Lets go find the others."  
We split up and searched. I had Crystal go with Tia so to make sure she avoids the temple. I flew around until I saw Vega and Luna flying around.  
"Vega, Luna," I shouted.  
They turned and saw me. They flew over to me.  
"Aethor," they said, "Where are we?"  
"I'll show you."  
I contacted Tia and she said they found Solar. We met around a clearing.  
"Alright," I said, "We are going to meet someone who can help us, but you need to stay next to me so I don't lose track of you."  
"What do you mean," Luna asked.  
"You'll see," I said.  
I took them to the temple and flew to the entrance. I took them inside and to where the others were. That's when it happened. Filly Luna and Celestia saw the older Luna and Celestia, and my Solar saw the past Solar. Shit was about to go down.  
"What is this trickery," past Solar asked.  
"You tell me," my Solar said.  
"Mommy," filly Luna said, "Who are they?"  
"Aethor," older Luna said, "What is this?"  
"What is going on here," older Celestia asked.  
"I don't know," filly Celestia said.  
They continued to argue until I shouted, "STOP!!!" They all looked at me.  
"Listen, this is why I didn't want to tell you," I looked at my group, "We are in an alternate universe where this is the past life."  
"Okay," older Celestia said, "What do we do?"  
I looked at past Solar.  
"We need you to send us back."  
"Well, I can try," she said.  
"Thank you," I said.  
"Wait," older Luna said.  
We looked at her.  
"Isn't this when I turned into Nightmare?"  
I smiled. "That's already been taken care of, right Luna," I said as I looked at filly Luna.  
She smiled and nodded.  
"You may continue," I said.  
Solar nodded. She continued with her spell.  
"WAIT!!!" This time it was filly Luna and filly Celestia.  
We looked at them. They walked up to me and did something I wasn't expecting. They walked up to me and jumped up to my neck and hugged me. I hugged them back.  
"We'll miss you," they said.  
"I'll miss you to," I said.  
I scratched their ears and set them back down.  
"We're ready," I said.  
Past Solar nodded and continued with the spell. Then a light shown around us. Then a flash then……nothing.  
"What happened," I asked.  
"I don't know," past Solar said.  
"The spell must have gone wrong," I said.  
"What went wrong though," older Celestia asked.  
"I don't know," I said.  
"What do we do now," Vega asked.  
"Well," past Solar said, "I will have to find out what went wrong before I can send you back. In the mean time, you will stay here."  
"That sounds like the best thing to do," I said.  
"Very well," Crystal said.  
"YAY," filly Celestia and Luna shouted, "That means we get to spend more time with you!"  
"Yep," I said with a smile, "I guess it does."
Foal sitting
It's been 3 days since we arrived, and I've had the time of my life. Filly Luna and Celestia are a hand full, but I love them as much as I love my Celestia and Luna. Today past Solar has asked me to foal sit them.  
"Alright," I had said.  
"Thank you," she replied, "I need as much time as possible to figure out how send you back."  
Now I was heading to get them. I was planning to take them on a walk in the forest. When I got there, I opened the door and saw 2 filly the only 2 filly alicorns in existence flying at me. Then I found myself on the floor.  
"AETHOR," they shouted, "Mom told us that we will be staying with you today!"  
"Yes, that's right."  
"So what are we going to do first," filly Luna asked.  
I picked them up and put them on my shoulders.  
"Would you like to go for a walk in the forest?"  
"YES," they said.  
"Well, alright then," I said as I walked out of the temple. We walked through the forest with them on my shoulders. After a while, we heard someone flapping their wings. I looked up and saw older Luna, Celestia, and Vega flying above.  
"Hey," I said to the fillies on my shoulders, "You want to have some fun?"  
"Yeah," they said.  
"Good, now be quiet," I said. I changed into Aethor and flew off with them on my shoulders.  
"Now girls," I said, "I'm going to change my appearance so I look different, but you have to remember that it's me, okay?"  
"Ok," they said.  
"Good, now when I tell you to, I want you to scream as loud as you can, okay?"  
"Okay."  
"Good, now get ready."  
I changed my appearance into an green alicorn with a black mane.  
"Now, on the count of 3 I want you to scream, okay?"  
"Ok," they said.  
"Okay. Ready? 1…2…3!!!"  
As soon as I said 3, they screamed as loud as they could, causing the four we were following to turn and see what the noise was. They did.  
"HAHAHA," I said in a booming voice, "The only filly alicorns in existence are now MINE!!!"  
They were enraged. I looked to see all four of them flying at me at top speed. I grinned. I charged a spell and fired it at them. I wasn't a killing spell, it was a paralyze spell. It hit Tia and Vega, but the other two dodged. They charged their own spell that was meant to stun me. I threw up a shield and the spell reflected back at them, hitting both of them. I flew in and cast another paralyze spell.  
"HAHAHAHA, you can't defeat me. You are powerless. HAHAHAHA!!!"  
"WHO ARE YOU, AND WHY HAVE YOU TAKE THE FILLIES," older Luna shouted.  
Then, filly Luna, Celestia, and I burst out laughing.  
"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING," Luna asked.  
"You girls are so gullible," I said in my regular voice.   
"AETHOR," Tia shouted, "WHAT THE BUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU SCARED US TO DEATH!!!"  
"That was the point," filly Tia said.  
"Wait," Vega said, "You two were in on this?"  
"Yep," filly Luna said, "And it's totally worth any punishment!"  
"AETHOR," Crystal and Tia shouted.  
I turned to look at them, and saw them rushing at me.  
"OH SHIT," I said as I took off. The other 4 just laughed at us. Then I was tackled out of the sky and was on the ground.  
"That's it Aethor," Tia said, "You're going to get it!"  
Then she kissed me on the lips.  
"Hey," Crystal said, "Don't I get some?"  
I laughed.  
"Come here Crystal," I said.  
She walked over and I kissed her.  
"Well," I said, "I think I should take the fillies back home."  
"Yeah, Solar might be getting worried," Tia said.  
We took off and I grabbed the fillies and took them home. When we got there, I found past Solar pacing nervously. When she saw us, she let out a sigh of relief.  
"Oh thank the Creator," she said.  
"So that's what your religion is," I said, my curiosity satisfied.  
"Yes," she said.  
"Well, here Luna and Celestia," I said, putting them on her back.  
"Hi mommy," they said, "We had lots of fun today."  
"Really," she said as she walked down the hall, "And what did you do?"  
I knew what they were about to say, so I bolted out the door. So enough, I heard an explosion behind me and saw a VERY pissed off Solar chasing me.  
"SHIT," I yelled as I flew fast.  
But it was useless. After 5 minutes she caught up to me and tackled me to the ground. My instincts took over and as we were falling, I flipped over her and instead she hit the ground.  
"Urg," she said.  
"OH GOD," I said as I rushed to her side, "Solar are you alright?"  
"W-what happened," she mumbled.  
"You tried to tackle me, but my instincts took over and I flipped over you so you it the ground instead of me. I sorry, are you okay?"  
"Yes, I'm fine. Just a little shaken is all," she said.  
"Good."  
"But why did you do that," she asked.  
"Well," I began, "It's just my way of having fun."  
"Well, you could have at least left my daughters out of this."  
"But they were fighting me," I said, confusing her.  
"What do you mean," she asked.  
"Uhh, hello. My Luna and Celestia. You know, the older ones."  
"Ohh, right."  
She then flew of to the castle and I left to meet with the other 5. I found them resting on some clouds.  
"Hey girls," I said as I flew up to them, "Ready to head home?"  
"Sure," they said.  
We flew to the castle and went to our sleeping quarters. I got into bed and went to sleep. About 3 hours after I fell asleep, my bedroom door opened. My instincts again took over and I jumped out of the bed with my scythes drawn. But what I saw confused me to no end.  
"Luna, Celestia, what are you doing in my bedroom?" I looked at the two fillies.  
"Well," Luna said, "I was wondering if I could stay in here with you?"  
"Yeah," little Tia said, "And I'm here cause I had a nightmare."  
I smiled at the two fillies and put my scythes away.  
"Of course you can sleep with me," I said.  
They quietly 'squeed' and jumped onto my bed. I just smiled as I got under the covers. I was about to fall asleep when something laid on my chest; or rather two somethings. I looked down and saw an adorable sight. There, on my chest, were two sleeping filly alicorns. I reached down and scratch them behind their ears.  
"Goodnight," they said.  
"Goodnight."
Time to leave
The next day was the worst in my life. I woke up to find the two fillies jumping on my bed.  
"What are you doing," I said in an amused voice.  
"Jumping on the bed."  
"My God," I thought to myself, "they're just like future them, smart asses."  
Then I heard a scream for down the hall. I drew my scythes and ran to see what was wrong.  
"YOU," past Solar said, "Where are they!?"  
"The fillies," I asked.  
"Yes."  
"They slept with me."  
She looked relieved.  
"Well then," she said, "I think I have a way to get you back home."  
"Really," I asked.  
"Yes."  
"Oh thank god."  
"Now get the others, and meet me in the throne room."  
"Yes, and thank you."  
"You're welcome."  
I walked down the hall and got the others. I then took them to the throne room.  
"Are you ready," past Solar asked.  
"Yes," we said.  
She nodded and charged the spell.  
"WAIT," said two voices.  
We looked to see the two fillies running threw the door.  
"We didn't get to say goodbye," filly Luna said. She was about to cry.  
"Yeah," little Tia said. She was already crying.  
I walked over to them and picked them up.  
"Hey, it's okay," I said in my soothing voice, "I will never forget you."  
"We will miss you," they said.  
I smiled and hugged them.  
"Look, if there is any possible chance that I can see you again, then I won't hesitate to take it, do you hear me?"  
They nodded.  
"Good. Now you be good for your mother, ok?"  
"Ok."  
I smiled and put them down. I walked back over to the others and looked at past Solar.  
"I'm ready," I said.  
She charged the spell. I looked back at the fillies and waved. They waved back.  
"I find a way to visit you, I promise."  
"We'll hold you to that," they said.  
I smiled. Then the spell took affect and we were sent back.
It's good to be back
We were back in our universe. Thank God. We walked to the castle and went to our bed chambers. I walked into my room and laid in bed. I was about to fall asleep when I heard an explosion. I ran out onto my balcony to see what it was.  
"Shit."  
What I saw made my heart sink. I saw an army of changelings flying out of the forest, but it was not Crysalis leading, it was her daughter. I flew down the hall and into Crystal's room.  
"CRYSTAL," I shouted, but she wasn't in there.  
I flew to Tia's room and saw she was out on her balcony.  
"Tia," I said, "Crystal is gone!"  
"I know," she said.  
"What do you mean?"  
"She was captured by her hive for betraying them," she said.  
"We have to save her!"  
"We can't."  
"Bullshit," I said, anger seething in my voice, "I made that mistake before, and I'm not going to make it again."  
I flew out the balcony and in the direction of where the changelings hive was.
Saving Crystals
I flew around the forest and after 3 hours of searching, I found it. The Changelings' Hive. I flew into the cave and I found what I was looking for. The dungeon. I walked down the hall and looked into every cell. When I found her, I was filled with anger. She was in the last cell, but she was bloody. Her wings were broken. I blew the cell door off and ran to her.  
"Crystal," I said, tears in my eyes, "Please, come back."  
She was dead. She didn't have a pulse, and she was ice cold. Then, my sorrow turned into anger. I picked her up in my arms and ran out of the cave. I put her down by the cave and said, "I'll be back for you," and flew of to kill all of the changelings in existence.  
The changeling princess dies  
I flew to the castle and found it was still being attacked. Then I saw the changeling princess flying around. I flew up in front of her.  
"Ahh, so this is the one that was dating my mother," she said.  
"That's right," I said, "And now that you've killed her, I'm going to KILL YOU!!!!"  
I drew my scythes and put them together. Now, you know of the first two, but there are three, and the one I was about to turn into was the most powerful. This form that I changed into was only used when I was very angry and I was defending the innocent. I put my scythes together and they changed, and so did I. My scythe changed into the Holy Demon. My hair, instead of white or gold, turned black. My pupils vanished and all that was left in my eyes was a searing white light. I looked at the one who had killed Crystal and said,  
"YOU HAVE KILLED THE ONE I LOVE, NOW YOU SHALL PAY THE PRICE!!!"  
I flew at her and swung my scythe. She teleported behind me and shot me in the back, but it had no affect. I turned and looked her in the eye. She froze. She was paralyzed with fear, for in my, she saw all the things she has done to hurt people.   
"YOU SHALL NEVER WALK THIS EARTH AGAIN," I said in my booming voice, "YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!!!"  
I charged her and started to swing, but stopped. I looked at her. She was crying. I put my scythe down and changed back to myself.  
"Emerald," I said, "Are you okay?"  
"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!" She asked.  
"Your mother told me a long time ago. She said she missed you very much. She told me how hard it was to live without you." I was being honest.  
She looked shocked.  
"But, she left me for you, she didn't even say goodbye." She looked down and started to cry. I saw this and quickly flew over and hugged her.  
"It's okay," I said, "I know why your upset. I lost my mother to."  
"Y-you did," she asked.  
"Yeah, she was killed for something I know she didn't do. I did the exact same thing you are doing now."  
"I-I'm so sorry," she said, "I just missed her so much." She started to cry on my shoulder.  
"Emerald, listen." I looked her in the eye, "I can get her back, but you have to promise me. You will always try to control your emotions. Okay?"  
"I promise. I will do anything to see my mother again."  
I nodded. I took her to the cave and I walked up to Crystal dead body.  
"Mother," Emerald said.  
"I can bring her back, but you need to stand back."   
She stepped back, and I put my horn on Crystal's side. My horn began to glow. I started to pant and sweat from the amount of magic I was using. Then my horn glowed brighter than the sun, blinding Emerald. Then, there was a gasp. I opened my eyes and looked to see Crystal's eyes open. I smiled. Then I fell to the ground.   
"AETHOR," Crystal shouted as soon as she saw me.  
"Crystal," I said, barely over a whisper, "Your daughter wanted to say something to you." I smiled at her. Then, I closed my eyes and took my final breath.
Why
(POV change to Crystal)  
"No," I said, "NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!"  
I ran over to Aethor's body and cradled him in my arms. I sat there, crying. Then I felt something on my shoulder. I looked and saw my daughter's hoof there. I shook it off and glared at her.  
"This is YOUR fault," I said, "This never would have happened had you not attacked."  
"Mother," she said, "I'm sorry. I just wanted to see you again. He said he could bring you back, but he didn't tell me he would die. If I knew that, I would've stopped him. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."  
She started to cry. I ran over to her and hugged her tightly.  
"Oh Emerald," I said, "I know. I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have said it was your fault. It was my fault. I should have visited you."  
She calmed down and pulled back.  
"We should bring him back," she said. "He deserves a peaceful resting place."  
I nodded. I picked him up and we flew to the castle. I flew to Celestia's balcony.  
"Celestia," I said, "I'm so sorry."  
I heard a gasp and saw Tia there, crying. I walked over to her and hugged her.  
"He did it to make my daughter happy."   
She just cried.  
The next day was the funeral. Everybody had showed up, even the changelings. Tia, Luna, Vega, Solar, and I were up in front of the coffin.  
"We will miss you," I said.  
"I'm right here," a voice said in my head. I looked to see everybody else was looking around in confusion. Everybody had heard that voice.  
"I heard your call Crystal," it said, "And I have asked my god to grant you that wish, and he has agreed." Then from the night sky, a bright light showed above us. We looked to see what it was. It descended slowly. When it hit the ground, it glowed so bright we all turned our heads so we didn't go blind. When we looked back, we all gasped. Standing there, with angle wings fanned out behind him; was Varis.
God
(POV change to Varis/Aethor)  
I woke up and looked around. I couldn't see anything. I got up and walked around. Suddenly, I saw a glow coming from behind me. I turned and saw the person I only saw once before.  
"Father," I said.  
He smiled.  
"Yes, it is me child."  
"Where am I," I asked.  
"You are in heaven, but you won't be here long."  
"What do you mean?"  
"I have been asked by one very close to you that you be brought back."  
"Crystal," I said.  
"Yes."  
"What do we do?"  
"I'm going to send you back, and you are going to protect their land forever."  
"But what if I die again," I asked.  
"You won't, I'm giving you the powers of an Arch-Angle."  
"Really?"  
"Yes, after defending this world multiple times, and dying to protect it, I am granting you these powers. Will you accept them?"  
"I will accept this gift with great honor."  
"Good."  
He walked over to me and put his hand on my head. When he removed his hand, I was an angle.  
"Now, are you ready to go back?"  
"Yes," I said.  
"Good."   
He again put his hand on my head. Then I felt the minds of all of those at my funeral.  
"We will miss you," Crystal said.  
"I'm right here," I said in everybody's head.  
They all looked around in confusion.  
"I heard you Crystal, and my God has allowed me to come back." Then I flew down in front of them.
Arch-Angle Varis
I stood there and stared at them all. They stared back. I walked up to Crystal and Emerald.  
"Come with me," I said in a commanding tone. They obeyed. I looked and the other 4.  
"You too."  
They all followed me into to the forest. I walked them to the clearing and turned to look at them.  
"I missed you girls."  
They all tackle hugged the life out of me, even Emerald did.  
They finally got off.  
"Why'd you do it Varis?" Crystal looked at me.  
"Because I love and help all of my friends." I looked at Emerald, "Even if they did kill someone I love."  
We talked for a while before going back to the castle. We fell asleep.
A visit to the past
Today, I was going to visit someone that I had promised. I told the girls were I was going and they agreed. I charged the right spell and went to the universe of the filly alicorns. When I got there, I saw that it was almost the same time as our universe. I looked around and saw that I was in the Everfree. I flew up and looked around. I saw Canterlot in the distance. I flew there and landed in front of the gates. The guards saw I was an alicorn and bowed.  
"I need to see the princesses," I said.  
"Yes, sir," they said and opened the gates. I walked through and into the castle. I walked around the castle and found the throne room. I peeked in and saw Celestia sitting on the throne. She was looking at a letter at the moment so I was able to sneak in without being noticed. I stayed in the shadows and walked around the room. Soon, I was behind the throne. I snuck up behind Celestia. Then, tapped her on the shoulder. She almost literally jumped out of her skin. I just chuckled. I guess she heard me, because she turned around and saw me. Her eyes widen and she stared at me.  
"Well, it's good to see you to," I said. Then I was on the ground with a white alicorn on top of me.  
"Aethor, is that you," she asked.  
"I told you, I always keep my promises." I looked at her and smiled. She hugged me again and I hugged her back.  
"You know, I haven't seen you since you were a little filly," I said, chuckling.  
"We've missed you Varis," she said.  
"Oh yeah," I said, "I still have to see Luna."  
"Yeah," Celestia said.  
"You want to have a good laugh," I asked, a mischievous grin on my face.  
Celestia return my grin.  
"I'm always up for a good laugh."  
I smiled and told her the plan. She went to get Luna while I hid in the gardens. After about 5 minutes, I heard Luna and Tia walked by where I was hiding. I snuck up on Luna. Then, I tackled her to the ground. Then I found myself on the ground with a blue alicorn on top of me charging a spell.   
"Woah woah Luna, calm down," I said.  
Her eyes shot open and she looked me in the eye.  
"AETHOR," she shouted as she put me in her famous choking bear hug, "YOU'RE BACK!!!"  
"Luna…can't…breathe…," I gasped out.  
"Sorry." She let go while I tried to get my breath back.  
I stood up and hugged her.  
"I told you, I always keep my promises," I said.  
We walked back inside and we talked for hours, what they've been doing, how was the ruling, things like that.  
"Oh Varis," Luna said, "I'm so glad your back, it's been so long."  
"Well," I said, "You two are just the same as you were back then. Adorable."  
They giggled.  
"Why don't we head to bed, it's getting pretty late."  
"So good to me," they said.  
We walked up to their bed chambers and got into bed.  
"Hey Aethor," Luna said, "Will you sleep with me tonight?"  
"What about me," Tia asked.  
"Hey girls," I said, stepping between them, "There is no need to argue. Tia, how big is your bed?"  
"It's a king size, so it's pretty big."  
"Luna, what about yours?"  
"Mine is just as big," she said.  
"Well then, why don't we all sleep in the same bed so you both of you can sleep with me, okay?"  
"Sounds good to me," Luna said.  
We walked to Tia's room and went in. When I saw the bed all I could say was, "Holy Shit." It was huge, I mean it at least covered 1/3 of the room, and the room was huge.  
"That is plenty of room," I said.  
"I guess it is," Tia said.  
We walked over to the bed and got under the comforter. I was laying on my back with my hand behind my head. As I was about to fall asleep, I felt something wrap around me. I looked down and saw Tia and Luna had fallen asleep hugging me. I smiled and rested my hands on their necks. A few minutes later, I was asleep.
Defending the castle
I woke up and looked around. Then I sat up and I felt a weight leave my chest. I looked down and saw that other Tia and Luna had slept through the whole night hugging me. I smiled and stroked their manes until they woke up.  
"Morning," I said.  
"Morning," they replied.  
We were about to get up when we heard explosions. We ran out to see what was going on. Then I saw it. The one who was attacking I had seen die, stabbed through the chest. I always thought he was dead, but he wasn't. Attacking the castle, killing everything in his path…was Fleshripper.
I need Kail
I looked at the to alicorns.  
"Listen to me," I said, "You need to get everypony out of here NOW!"  
"We want to help," Luna said.  
"No, this is one person who you can't beat. Even I can't beat him. I need you to send your voice to the heavens. This is what I want you to say. 'God, Varis needs Kail.'"  
They nodded their heads.  
"Good, once you do that and get everypony out of here, STAY AWAY!!!"  
They flew off and I turned towards Fleshripper.  
"FLESHRIPPER," I shouted, "YOU DARE ATTACK THIS PLANET!!!!"  
"Hahahaha, you can't defeat me, I'm invincible."  
"We'll just have to see about that," I said. I put my scythes together and changed into my arch-angle defender form. Since god gave me the powers of an Arch-Angle, this form's power had increased ten-fold. I flew at him and attacked. He blocked it. I swung again, then I changed direction and hit his arm. But he was unfazed. We kept fighting. I just hope the girls can get Kail here in time.
Praying to a different God
(POV change to past Tia)  
Me and Luna flew around getting everyone out of the city. Explosions were everywhere. I looked back at were the Aethor was and saw it wasn't going well. Aethor was taking a beating. After everyone was out of the city, me and Luna flew into the sky. We shouted to the heaven.  
"God, Varis needs help from Kail. Please, we need you help, Fleshripper is back."  
Then, the earth shook. From the sky, a bright light flashed and another human flew down.  
"I heard your call," he said, "Where is Varis and Fleshripper?"  
"Follow us," I said, and flew to where the battle was taking place.
About time
(POV change to Varis/Aethor)  
The fight was not going well for me. I had landed many hits, but he just shrugged them of like nothing. The hit I had taken were sever. I had a cut on my arm, a gash across my leg, and I scratch across my chest. But I was still in this fight.  
"You can't defeat me," he said, "I'm a paladin."  
"You're no paladin." I did not say this.  
"No," Fleshripper said, "How are you here!"  
"They asked for my help." I knew who it was.  
"About damn time you got here Kail," I said, "This guy won't stay down."  
"Hello Varis, how's it been?"  
"Oh you know, taken care of fillies, keeping the princesses alive, things like that."  
"Well," he said, "How about we get this guy out of here?"  
"Sound good to me," I said. I faced Fleshripper and me and Kail charged. Now he wasn't playing around. He blocked and dodged but we were waring him down. Soon enough, I landed a hit on his leg and he fell to the ground. Then Kail came up to kill him, but he rolled out of the way. Kail ran up and tackled him to the ground.  
"This time Fleshripper," I said as I walked up to him. Kail was holding him down so he couldn't move, "You won't come back." I brought my scythe above my head and brought it down on his neck. As it connected, there was a large explosion. When the smoke cleared, all that was left was me and Kail, with a body without a head.  
"He's dead," I said, "He finally dead."  
"Yes," Kail said, "And he won't come back."  
I nodded my head. Then I was tackled from behind. I looked to see Luna hugging me and crying.  
"Luna," I said, "What's wrong?"  
"It's Tia," she said, "I can't find her anywhere."
Searching
"Where did you last see her," I asked.  
"She was right beside me watching you, when I looked, she was gone.  
"Kail, we have to find her."  
"I will help," he said.  
"Thank you," I said.  
We and took of and searched. Me, Kail, and Luna searched the Everfree while everyone else searched the city. We searched everywhere. Then I saw her. She was running thought the forest like she was scared.  
"Guys," I said, "Down there."  
I pointed at Tia and flew down to her. Then I saw what she was running from. She was running from an army of demons.  
"Shit," I said, "I forgot about the army."  
"We have to save her," Luna said.  
"Luna," I said, "You get Tia and help her. Me and Kail will get the army."  
She nodded and flew down to Tia. I looked at Kail and he looked back at me.  
"Out with a bang," I said.  
"Out with a bang," he agreed.  
We flew down in front of the army and started killing demons. We fought for hours, but the demons just kept coming. I knew we wouldn't be able to hold out much longer. Then I got an idea.  
"Kail," I said.  
"Yeah?"  
"Tell all of them, I'm sorry."  
He knew what I was about to do, and tried to stop me.  
"Varis, you don't have to do this."  
"Yes I do," I said, "We can't hold out much longer."   
He was about to argue more, but decided against it.  
"Give 'em hell, Varis."  
I smiled.  
"You know I always do."  
I flew up above the army and focused my power. What I was about to do was going to kill me, and I knew that. But I was doing it to protect this world, and my friends. I was about to release all of my power in one giant explosion. The Holy Bomb. Once my power was ready to be released, I flew down to the middle of the army of demons. They saw me and attacked. Then I started to glow. The glow was pulsating. Finally, I let out a blood-curtailing scream. All around me, the explosion killed all of the demons around me. I saw Kail put a shield around Tia and Luna. He saw me so I nodded my head in thanks. Then I fell to the ground, dead.
Asking God for a friend
(POV change to Kail)  
I looked at Varis and saw him nod his head in thanks. Then he hit the ground dead. All three of us shouted and ran to him. I checked his pulse. Nothing. I put my head down and prayed. Tia and Luna walked up to him and laid down next to his body. They put their wings over him and bowed their heads. I looked at them and my heart was filled with regret. I should have stopped him. Why did I let him do that?! I looked at the two alicorns.   
"He's got some explaining to do," I said.  
"Who," Luna asked.  
I pushed them aside and picked up Varis's dead body.  
"I'll be back."  
I flew towards the sky and soon I was in heaven. I then got on one knee and prayed. There was a bright light and then he was standing there.  
"Father," I said.  
"Yes Kail."  
"Why did you let him do this," I asked.  
"I didn't. He did to protect his friends."  
"He didn't deserve to die," I said, "It was not his time."  
"I'm sorry Kail, but there is nothing I can do."  
"Bring him back," I said.  
"I can't."  
"A life for a life," I said.  
"What are you getting at?"  
"I will take his place, just bring him back. They need him."  
He thought about it.  
"Very well. If you take his place, then I will send him back."  
I nodded my head.  
He walked up to Varis's dead body and laid his hand on it. The body glowed. Then it was gone.  
"Come with me Kail."  
I followed him.
Kail, you stubborn bastard
(POV change to Varis/Aethor)  
I woke up on the ground.  
"What, how am I alive?"  
I heard a gasp and felt something tighten around my waist. I looked down to see past Luna and Celestia hugging me.  
"How am I alive," I asked.  
"Kail," Luna began.  
"Kail. NOO, KAIL."  
I got up and flew around. I couldn't find him.  
"Kail," I mumbled, "You stubborn bastard."  
I heard wings flapping and looked to see Tia and Luna flying towards me.  
"Aethor," Tia said, "What's wrong?"  
"Kail," I said, "He traded his life for mine."  
Then I saw a glow form in front of me. Then it dimmed and Kail stood there.  
"Varis," he said.  
"Why," I said, "WHY DID YOU DO IT?!?!"  
"Because," he said, "They need you."  
I looked back at the two behind me.  
"But why you," I asked.  
"Because, he would only bring you back if I gave my life."  
"God, you son of a bitch," I said.  
"I know why you're mad Varis," Kail said, "But they need you more than anyone needs me."  
I nodded my head in defeat.  
"Tell my family, I love them," I said.  
He smiled.  
"I will."  
Then he glowed and vanished. I looked back at the girls.  
"I have to go," I said, "I need to tell the others what happened. I will visit you again."  
They nodded their heads. I flew over to them and hugged them.  
"We'll miss you," they said.  
I kissed them on the forehead.  
"I be back soon."  
I backed up and waved. They waved back. Then I cast a spell and I was back in my universe. Now I had to tell them what happened.
They aren't happy
I walked though the Canterlot gardens to the castle. I walked around the castle and found Luna in her room sleeping. I left a note saying to get the others and meet me in the temple of the two sisters. I signed my name and went to the temple. When I got there, I was surprised to see Neptune standing in the throne room. I walked in and stood next to him.  
"It's hard to know that I've been gone for so long," he said.  
"I know how you feel," I said.  
"I know you do."  
I looked at him.  
"It's not your fault," I said, "It's just the way of life."  
"I know," he said, "I just wish I could have said goodbye to my daughters before I died."  
"I know how you feel. I wish I didn't have to die so many time."  
"Why are you here," he asked.  
"I need to tell the girls what happened while I was away."  
"Let me guess," he said, "You were killed."  
"Surprising, is it not?"  
He laughed.  
"Well," he said, "I guess it's not surprising at all really."  
"I know," I said.  
Then I heard wings flapping rapidly.  
"Sounds like they're here," I said.  
"I guess I should go," Neptune said.  
"See you later."  
He waved and flew off. Now it was just me and excited marefriends. I prepared myself to hit the ground hard. Soon enough, I was on the ground, unable to breathe.   
"Girls…can't…breathe…" I gasped out.  
"Oh, he, sorry."  
They let go as I tried to catch my breath.  
"Varis, welcome back," Vega said.  
"How was the visit," Luna asked.  
I cringed when she said that, and they saw it.  
"What happened," Solar asked.  
"I-it was Fleshripper, he came back," I said with a sad voice.  
"WHAT," Tia shouted, "You mean the one that killed Giovanni?"  
"Yes, he was there."   
"Wait," Solar said, "Who is Fleshripper?"  
I told her the tale of Leo Fleshripper.  
"So yeah, he was corrupted," I said.  
"My word," Solar said, "And he was attacking them?"  
"Yes. I don't know how he got there, but he did."  
"Now tell us what happened," Crystal said.  
I told them what happened. I left out the part where I died, but I told them that Kail was dead.  
"What," Vega said, "He's dead?"  
"I'm sorry Vega, but yes, he's dead." I looked at her with regret.  
"THIS IS YOUR FAULT," she said, "IF YOU HAD STOPPED HIM, HE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE!!!"  
"Vega," I said, "I know why you're mad, but plea-," I didn't get to finish.  
She charged at me with her horn down. The others tried to stop her, but I shook my head. She kept running until her horn stabbed me. I moved to the side a little so it didn't kill me, but it still hurt. I screamed in pain and fell to the ground.   
"AETHOR," Crystal yelled.  
"It's…okay," I said, gasping through the pain, "…she…had…every…right to…release…her…anger…on me."  
"No, she didn't have to do that," Luna said.  
"Yes…she…did," I gasped, "…she…needed…to…see…that…I…never…meant…to…get…him…killed."  
"But it wasn't your fault," Solar said.  
"Yes…it…was…I…could…have…stopped…him…but…I…didn't…" I closed my eyes and passed out.
The apology
(POV change to Vega)  
I looked and saw Aethor on the ground, blood pouring out his side.  
"A-Aethor," I said. I walked over to him and knelt next to him. I felt his pulse. He was barely alive.  
"QUICK," I shouted, "WE NEED TO GET HIM TO THE HOSPITAL!!!"  
I picked him up and flew to Canterlot. I flew to the hospital and said, "HE NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION, NOW!!!"  
The doctors took him to the E.R. and I waited in the lobby. After about an hour of waiting, the doctor came out and walked up to me.  
"Ma'am, will you come with me," he said.  
"Is he going to be okay," I asked.  
"Come with me and see."  
I followed him down the hall and into a room. In the room, Aethor was laying on the bed. The wound I gave him was stitched up and he was stable.  
"He will be fine," the doctor said, "But he will need time to heal."  
"Thank you doctor," I said, "You've been a great help."  
He nodded his head and walked out the door. I walked up to Aethor's bed and sat down.  
"I'm sorry Aethor," I said, "I did it again."  
"It's alright," a voice said.  
I looked up and saw Aethor looking at me. He smiled.  
"I forgive you," he said.  
I cried.  
"Oh Aethor," I said, "I'm so sorry, I just wish he didn't have to die."  
Then a light glowed behind me. I turned around and gasped. Standing there, glowing, was Kail.  
"Hi Kail," Aethor said, "What brings you here?"  
"I'm here to talk to Vega," he said.  
I just stood there, shocked.  
"Well," Aethor said, "She's right there."  
He walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder.  
"Vega," he said in a soothing voice, "Do not blame my death on Varis, it was not his fault. I was the one who sacrificed myself to save them."  
I just nodded my head.  
"And do not blame yourself for hurting Varis. He let you so you could see that he will always love you and forgive you."  
"I understand," I said.  
"Good. Now, I must go. Take care." And with that, he vanished.  
I looked back at Aethor, who was smiling at me.  
"W-was all that t-true," I asked.  
"Yes Vega," he said, "I will always love you, no matter what happens."  
"Thank you," I said.  
Just then, the door opened and Solar, Tia, Luna, and Crystal walked in.  
"Varis," Solar said, "Are you alright?"  
"Yes Solar," he said, "We're fine."
The debate
(POV change to Varis/Aethor)  
I was walking trough the Everfree to Vega's house, when I was attacked by a manticore.  
"I don't have time for this," I said. The manticore pounced. I just stepped to the side as it landed and stabbed it in the face. I continued my walked and finally made it to her house. I knocked on the door and waited. Soon enough, the door opened, but not by who I was expecting. It was Vega, but she seemed…different.  
"Vega," I said, "Are you okay?"  
"I'm fine, now what did you want?"  
"I'm here for to pick Emerald up," I said.  
"Oh, right. I'll see if I can find her." She walked back inside. I waited. I heard banging and things being thrown. I knew something was up. I ran threw the door and came face-to-face with two Vegas and two Emeralds.  
"Oh fuck me," I mumbled.  
"Varis," Vega 1 said, "You have to help me."  
"Don't listen to her," Vega 2 said, "She's a changeling."  
"Varis," Emerald 1 said, "We are the real ones."  
"No you're not," Emerald 2 said, "We are."  
They continued to argue.  
"SHUT IT," I yelled.  
They closed their mouths.  
"Now there is only one way to know who is real and who is a changeling."  
"I'm going to asked questions that only the real Vega and Emerald would know."  
"First question, Vegas. When we were at the temple of the two sisters, what happened."  
I had a plan that would make it easier to find out who was real and who wasn't. I dove into their minds and read their thoughts.  
"Oh what was it what was it," Vega 1 thought.  
Vega 2 however was going through different memories, and I saw one that wasn't even one of Vega's memories. I knew them that it wasn't the real Vega. I charged a spell and killed Vega 2. When it died, it turned into a regular changeling.  
"Now," I said, "Question 2, Emerald. When I revived you mother, what did I say?"  
I again dove into their minds.  
Emerald 1: "Oh no, I can't remember!"  
Emerald 2: multiple memories.  
I charged a spell and killed Emerald 2.  
"Well," I said, "Glad that's over."  
"Damn strait," Vega said.  
"That wasn't fun," Emerald said.  
"Lets go to the castle," I said, "Pinkie Pie is throwing a party for you."  
"Really," Emerald said, "For me?"  
"It's Pinkie," I said like it was obvious. Which it was.  
She ran out the door faster than Pinkie.  
"Dayum," I said.  
"Damn is right," Vega said.  
We walked out the door and followed the trail of flying dust.
The Party
Me and Vega had just made it to Sugarcube corner, and the party was already in full swing. We walked in and were immediately deafened by the music playing. I saw that Pinkie had asked Vinyl to DJ. Me and Vega just sat down in the back of the room and talked.  
(POV change to Vinyl)  
I was up on stage, just doing my job, then I saw him. The fiery alicorn that everyone was talking about. I saw him walk in the door with another alicorn. They walked over to the back of the room and sat down. Now, I've been waiting for a while to meet this new alicorn, and I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity like this. I set the music to play by itself and walked over to him.  
(POV change to Varis/Aethor)  
I was talking to Vega when I saw a unicorn with a blue mane and goggles walk up to me.  
"Hey," she said, "I'm Vinyl Scratch."  
"Hey, I'm Aethor," I said.  
"I've heard a lot about you," she said.  
"Have you now?"  
"Well, I heard that you're no all pony." She looked at me like she was trying to decipher a code.  
"Well," I said, "You heard correct, I'm not all pony. In fact, wasn't a pony until I came here."  
"Well," she said, "Can I see what you looked like?"  
"Why certainly." I changed into Varis.  
"Wow," she said, "You look…different."  
"I get that a lot," I said like it didn't matter.  
"Well," she said, "I have another question."  
"And what is that?" I looked at her with curiosity.  
"Do you sing?"  
"Well," I thought for a moment, "I think I can think something up."  
"Will you come up on stage and sing?"  
I thought for a moment.  
"What do you think, Vega?" I looked over at her.  
"I think it would be great," she said.  
"Alright, I'll do it." She smiled.  
"Great."  
"And I already got the song I'm going to sing."  
She walked off and I went through my memory for the lyrics.  
"What song are you going to sing," Vega asked.  
"Well," I said, "It's a song that is made for Tia."  
"That's fine," she said.  
"Good." I walked up to the stage and got ready.  
"Fillies and gentlecolts," Vinyl said into the microphone, "We have a special guest that is going to sing tonight. I give you, AETHOR!!!"  
I walked up on stage and everyone cheered.  
"Thank you so much for having me here," I said. "Tonight, I will be singing a song that goes to my dear friend, Princess Celestia."  
I grabbed the guitar and started the intro. Then the lyrics came in.

I was about to walk off stage, but was tackled off by a pegasus and a white alicorn.  
"Oh SHIT," I said as I flew off the stage, make everyone in the room laugh.  
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou so much," Rainbow said, "That was the the best song I've ever heard!"  
"Yes," Tia said, "I loved mine."  
"Well good," I said, "I've got some more for the others if they want to here them later?"  
Out of nowhere, Luna, Crystal, and Vega walked up and nodded their heads.  
"We would like to hear ours sometime soon," Luna said.  
"Alright, I just have to remember the lyrics, okay?"  
They nodded their heads.  
I decided it was time to go home and get some rest. I walked into my house and saw the weirdest site ever to be seen in all of eternity. On my couch, sitting side by side, were Twilight and Trixie.  
"Mother of God," I said, "Kill me now. I've gone insane."  
They looked at me and laughed.  
"We've been getting along a lot better since our talk," Twilight said.  
"So I see," I said, still in shock.  
"Trixie has been having a lot of fun," Trixie said, again using third person speech.  
"Trixie," I said, "What did I tell you about that?"  
"Not to talk in third person," she said.  
"No I didn't," I looked at her in shock, "I said to keep your damn hooves off my couch!"  
They laughed. I just smiled.  
"Well," I said, "I'm going to bed."  
I walked upstairs.  
"Oh," I said, looking back, "I'll be keeping the door open, so no horsing around."  
They both blushed furiously.  
"VARIS," they shouted.  
I laughed my ass off.  
"Goodnight you too. I'm serious though, keep it down." I walked up stairs and got into bed. About an after I fell asleep, Solar came in and laid down. I must have been having a weird dream, because as soon as she laid down, I shot out of bed and yelled, "YOU CAN'T CATCH ME YOU CLOWN, I'LL KILL YOU!!!" I looked around and heard laughing. I turned to see Solar there, rolling on the ground, laughing her ass off.  
"What the hell just happened," I asked, rubbing my head.  
"Apparently," Solar said, after she calmed down, "You were being cased by a clown in your dream. When I laid down, you woke up and screamed, 'YOU CAN'T CATCH ME CLOWN, I'LL KILL YOU!!!'" She began to laugh again.  
"Hey," I said, "Clowns are fuckin' scary. I HATE clowns."  
She just kept laughing.  
"You don't believe me? Fine." I walked over to my nightstand and grabbed my computer. I search on google 'scary clowns'. What popped up scared me shitless.  
"Here are some of our clowns."  
I showed her the first picture.
"Ahh, WHAT THE FUCK," she yelled.  
"What was that about clowns not being scary," I asked in a VERY sarcastic voice.  
"Ok," she said, scared, "I'm officially scared of clowns!"  
"That's what I thought." I put the computer away and got back into bed.  
"Great," Solar said, "Now I'm going to have nightmares."  
I laughed at her. We got comfortable and fell asleep. When I woke up, I felt something clinging to me. I looked down to see Solar there, panting, her mane a mess and all sweaty. I rubbed neck for a while until she calmed down.  
"You ok," I asked, concerned.  
"Yeah, I'm fine," she said.  
"No you're not."  
She sighed.  
"I…I just had a nightmare," she said.  
"I'm here to help," I said.  
"Well," she began, "We were walking around the, all of us, and we were headed to a party. We walked in the room, but what we saw was no party."  
Her eyes started to water.  
"In the room, were dozens of dead bodies. Their necks were slit, and their cutie marks were cut off. And standing there, above the dead bodies, was Pinkie Pie. But it wasn't her. Her hair was strait, and her pink coat looked like it had lost some of its brightness."  
"Pinkimina," I mumbled.  
"What," she asked.  
"Pinkimina," I said, louder so she could here, "It's Pinkie's sad form…or really pissed off form."  
"Does she do those…things?"  
"Unfortunately," I said, "From what I've heard, then yes."  
Her eyes started to water again.  
"Why would she do those things," she asked.  
"I don't know, but Pinkie's life before happiness was filled with blood and murder."  
"Wh-what do you mean," Solar asked.  
"Apparently," I said, "Her parents were murdered when she was just a filly. Her siblings were taken away and she was sent to a foster home. She been deranged ever since. The only thing keeping Pinkemina under control, is Pinkie's friends. And her happiness."  
I looked down and sat there. I looked over and saw that Solar was crying. I moved over to her and hugged her.  
"Don't worry," I said, "I will make sure Pinkemina will never take control again."  
"I-I can't b-believe all that happened to Pinkie," she said.  
"It's okay," I said, "She has put it all in the past, and is focusing on the future, like we should."  
She nodded her head. We got up and got ready for breakfast.we walked down the hall and into the dining room. We entered, but what we saw was not breakfast. Almost a dozen waiters and cooks were dead on the floor. All of them had their necks slit open. And standing there, holding a blood-covered knife, was Pinkiemina.  
"Pinkiemina," I said, "How did you get in control?"  
"Why, I merely killed all of Pinkie's pathetic friends," she said.  
"You did WHAT," I shouted.  
"I killed all of Pinkie's friends."  
"YOU WILL PAY," I shouted, "SOLAR, FIND THE OTHERS AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!"  
She ran out of the room and it was just me and a deranged Pinkie.  
"Pinkie," I said, "I know you're in there, your friends are still alive."  
"Pinkie is dead, and so are her friends. But if you wish to join them, then so be it."  
She ran at me and stabbed. I rolled around her and hit her leg. I hit her, but she seemed to not even register the pain.  
"Pinkie, this isn't you. You have to fight her. What would your parents think?"  
"YOU LEAVE MY PARENTS OUT OF THIS!!! THEY NEVER CARED ABOUT ME!!!"  
"Yes they did Pinkie," I said, "They loved you with all their hearts. They just wanted you to be happy."  
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT," she shouted.  
"Yes I do, and I can let you see them again."  
She stopped.  
"Y-you can," she asked.  
"Yes, as a warrior of god, I am aloud to let people see long lost loved ones."  
"YOU LIE," she yelled.  
"No," I said, "Let me show you."  
I walked over to her. She didn't attack, but she didn't relax. I put my hand on her head and the room around us was filled with white light. Then, we were in heaven.  
"W-where are we," Pinkiemina asked.  
"We are in heaven, where all life forms go. Follow me, I will show you your parents."  
I lead her through what was older Ponyville.  
"This looks like Ponyville when I was a filly," she said.  
"That's because it is," I told her, "This is your parents paradise."  
I lead her out of the town and to an old rock farm.  
She gasped.  
"This is my old rock farm!"  
"Yes, and your parents are inside."  
I walked her to the front door and knocked. They answered instantly.  
"Hello what do yo-," he said as soon as he saw us.  
"P-Pinkie, is th-that you," he asked.  
"D-dad, it's me, Pinkie."  
"OH MY DAUGHTER," he said. I ran up to Pinkie and hugged her. I saw her mane get a little more poofy.  
"HONEY," Pinkie's dad yelled, "PINKIE IS BACK!!!"  
I heard things hitting the ground and a mare run out the door.  
"PINKIE," she shouted. She ran up to Pinkie and hugged her tight. Then, finally, Pinkie's mane was back to normal, or at least, Pinkie normal.  
"Mom dad, I've missed you so much," she said as she hugged her parents.  
I smiled.  
"Are you okay, Pinkie?" I looked over at her.  
She nodded her head.  
"Are you ready to go back?"  
"Yeah," she said.  
She said goodbye to her parents and I brought us back to earth. When we got back, Solar and the others were waiting, and the elements were there to.  
"GIRLS," Pinkie yelled, "YOU'RE ALIVE!!!"  
She ran over to them and hugged all of them.  
"Of course we're alive," Twilight said, "Why wouldn't we be?"  
"She-she said she killed you," Pinkie said.  
"We're still alive," Rainbow said.  
"Well, she lied." Pinkie hugged them again. I looked at Solar and gestured for her to follow me. I walked out on to the balcony and leaned against the railing. A minute later, Solar walked out and stood beside me.  
"Solar," I said, "Were they really alive?"  
She sighed.  
"No," she said, "They were dead when I found them. I tried everything to bring them back. But nothing worked. We gave up and started to walk away, but then there was a flash of light. We looked back and saw that they were alive. They looked like they were confused. That's when we brought them here."  
She started to cry.  
"I tried everything, and all it took was a flash of light?"  
I walked over to her and hugged her.  
"Solar," I said, "There wasn't anything you could do. It was God who brought them back. He knew that Pinkie needed them."  
I looked at her and smiled.  
"It's not your fault," I said, "It was just a dream that might have been a vision. There was nothing you could have done to prevent it, okay?"  
She nodded her head.  
"Good." We walked back inside and saw that they had left. I walked out of the castle and went to Vega's house.

Sky Tower  
Tyleia immediately aroused herself from her trance and stabbed the thing making the noise. It was at that moment that she realized that what she had stabbed was a little bronze mouse, and that there were several hundred more mice that were making what appeared to be a metal griffin. It was also at this time that she noticed a gigantic tower that loomed ominously in the distance. Worries for another time. She thought.   
"Lierra," she said, "can you convince our friend here that we mean it no harm?"  
"This...abomination can not be communicated with. Prepare yourself young one, I fear we will have to fight."   
"I hate to break it to you, but I'm not really the fighting type."   
Just then, Tyleia heard this coming from the shrubbery to her right;  
"Taste my sword evil griffin thingy!" And then a 6-10 dragon born rushed out of the brush. The thing had dark scales that gleamed in the light, and he also had large black velvety wings. The Dragon Born then jumped on the griffin's back, and began to hack and slash at the creature's neck. After a few seconds of hacking and slashing, Tyleia ended the fight by collapsing a large rock on the mutilated head of the griffin.   
"Thank you ugly lizard man." Said Tyleia.  
The Dragon Born growled.  
"Uhh, Handsome lizard man?" Tyleia ventured.  
"Better. I am Baalasir, and thanks to me, you are not dead." Said the Dragon Born in a deep, gravely voice.  
"Well, thanks I guess I should be going..."  
It was at this time that the entire tower groaned, and from the top rose a gigantic Dragon. It looked like the griffin, except this one was gold.  
"Can you take care of that dragon?" Asked Tyleia in a scared tone.  
"No way! That's solid gold! You can only...melt...it. I've got an idea."  
And with that he charged at the dragon. He jumped and leapt up to the dragon's body with surprising agility for a Dragon Born, and when he reached the head, he bathed it in a large wave of incredibly hot fire. The dragon's body convulsed, and it fell down with a melted head.   
"Ha, whose the dominant dragon now?" Just then, the strange tower cracked slightly, and it groaned. Then, a large hydra arose from the top of the tower, proud and angry.  
"What is going on in that tower!?" Asked Tyleia in an awed voice.  
"I don't know. Varis went to investigate, but he hasn't come back yet."   
"Wait, who is Varis?"   
"Well..."   
It was at this time that the hydra groaned, and fell down. Then, rising from the bowels of the beast, stood a very filthy elf. He was dressed in the garments of a rouge, and was holding two long knives covered with oil. He quickly sprinted towards Tyleia and Baalasir, running with obvious ease, oblivious to the chaos happening around him. As he was running, Baalasir called out to him, saying,   
"Varis! You aren't dead!"  
"You probably hoped so you sonofa-"  
"Alrighty then!" Said Tyleia, trying to break the tension.  
"Anyway," said Baalasir annoyed, "what did you see?"  
"From what I was able to glimpse, we're screwed. The tower itself seems to be the source of all of the animals, and each time you kill one creature, a bigger one comes out. Either that, or more of the same creature."   
As if to confirm his grim report, the tower groaned and cracked again, and three hydras arose from the top.   
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" Tyleia yelled   
"FOR KORAS!" Yelled a dwarf who ran out of the shrubs and at the hydras.  
The Group  
The dwarf ran at the hydras with Varis and Baalasir right behind him.  
Once the dwarf reached the hydras he stabbed one in the chest. Then Baalasir ran up and smashed its heads together. Then Varis ran up to another and started slicing through it like it was made of cloth. When it was dead, the last hydra ran up and tried to slice through him. But Baalasir ran up and cut its leg off before it made contact. Then the dwarf ran up and killed it in the same manner as the first one.  
"Thanks Baalasir." Varis said.  
"No problem," he said.  
"Hey Osric," Varis said "you showed up right on time."  
"I aim to please," Osric said.  
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE," yelled Tyleia.  
"Oh. My apologies ma'am," Osric said "Were are our manners, I'm know as Sir Osric, I'm the warrior of our group."  
"And I am Varis," said the elf, "I'm the stealth and leader of this group."  
"I'm Baalasir, strength of the group," said the Dragon Born.  
Tyleia just stared at the odd group of people.  
"OK, um I'll just be on my-," Tyleia was stopped by Varis.  
"Wait, we may be in need of your help," Varis said.  
"Why," she asked.  
"Because," Osric said,"You are a very skilled fighter, are you not?"  
"Yeah but why not someone else,"  
"Well," Varis asked, "from what I gathered, you have met Kail, am I right?"  
Tyleia said, "Yeah, but why does that matter."  
"Because," Osric said, "I am a paladin as well."  
"WHAT?!?!" She yelled, "You're a paladin too?!"  
"Yes," he said, "But please keep your voice down, I don't want to be swarmed by a bunch of pricks asking me to rely a message to God."  
Varis turned his head. "Uhh, it may be to late for that," he said.  
Baalasir, who hadn't said anything yet, asked, "Why do you say that?"  
"Look for yourself," he said and pointed to the left.  
"Holy SHIIIIIII-," was all Osric said before hauling ass in the other direction, with the other three at his tail.  
"What do we do now," Tyleia asked.  
"We keep running," yelled Osric over the crowd.  
They turned a corner, and like in the old movies, the crowd kept running straight.  
"I didn't think that would work," Baalasir said.  
"I didn't ether," said Varis.  
"Alrighty then," Tyleia said, "WHAT THE HELL DO WE DO?"  
"Well, me and Baalasir are going to our hideout with our friends," Varis said. Him and Baalasir whistled (don't ask how Baalasir whistled without biting his fingers off) and suddenly, a griffon with black feathers and a dragon came flying down from the sky.  
"Oh God, a dragon," yelled Tyleia.  
"It's alright," Baalasir said, "he's trained."  
The griffon landed next to Varis and he hopped on its back, and yelled to Baalasir, saying "beat ya there."  
"The hell you will," he yelled back, and hopped on his dragon and took off. Varis sat there for a moment before following to give him a head start.  
"Sometimes, I just don't know about those to," Osric said.  
"Well, where is this hideout of yours," asked Tyleia.  
"Right here," he said, and teleported to the hideout.  
"How did you do that," she asked, amazed.  
"I'm a paladin, I can do a lot of things," he said.  
"Oh, right," she said.  
A half hour later, Varis landed outside. Then Baalasir landed.  
"You cheated," he growled, entering the house.  
"No," explained Varis, "You know that griffons are faster than dragons, aren't you Kaasteel?" The griffon nodded in answer. "Of course you know that," Varis said.  
"Whatever, I'm going to bed," Baalasir said.  
"Alright, see you in a couple hours then," Osric said.  
"Whatever," mumbled Baalasir as he entered his room.  
"Know then let's get down to business," Osric said.  
Sky Tower part 2  
"…And that's how I ended up here," finished Tyleia having been asked to tell about her adventure.  
"I see," said Osric with increasing interest, "and that's all then?"  
"Yes," she said.  
Varis stood and said, "Well, I'm going to hit the hay."  
"We should as well," said Osric, "you can use the spare bed."  
"Thanks," she said as she got up and followed Varis to the spare bedroom.  
"And here you are," he said while opening a door. "Not the best but better than the floor or ground."  
"I'll live, thank you again," she said as she walk in the room.  
"Well, if you need anything, just ask," Varis said. Then added, "But don't wake Baalasir, I learned that the hard way, couldn't feel a thing for a week."  
"I'll remember that," she said, scared of what might happen if she woke the dragon born.  
"Well, good night," Varis said and walked to his room and closed his door.  
Tyleia sat on the bed a entered her trance she used to rest.  
The next morning after everyone had woken and were ready to go; they returned to the sky tower to destroy it.  
"How are we going to destroy that thing," Tyleia asked.  
"I ain't got a damn clue," Varis said.  
"Well, there's got to be something controlling it," she said.  
"I looked in every room while I was in there, no control room, no nothing."  
"What if someone was controlling it from somewhere else," she said.  
"That may be a possibility," Osric said.  
"Alright then, I'll scout the perimeter to see if there is any type of building that could be used as a control station," Varis said.  
"Alright, me, Baalasir, and Tyleia will go and keep the monsters occupied, so you better hurry," Osric said.  
"Don't worry," he said, "I'll be back in 10 seconds flat." (See what I did there)  
"I see what you did there," said Osric and Tyleia said in unison.  
"God Damn bronies," Baalasir said.  
Varis ran off while Osric, Tyleia, and Baalasir ran towards the tower.  
Varis spotted a building that was very small and well concealed. It was the perfect control station.  
"Well, why don't we check that out," he thought to himself.  
As he entered the building though, what he saw scared the living shit out of him.  
"Why hello Varis, it's nice to finally meet you," it said.  
"What the HELL are you doing here," he said, "your not supposed to be real!"  
"And yet here I am, and I've been watching you and your friends for quite some time now," it said.  
"But why us," he asked.  
"Because I'm here to kill you" it said.  
Finally he decided enough was enough… and ran out the door away from who he now knew was…… Princess Celestia.  
How is SHE here!?!?  
Baalasir, Osric, and Tyleia were fighting about 5 hydras at once, when they heard Varis screaming and running towards them yelling, "We have to leave NOW!!!  
Baalasir and Osric had never seen him scared before, he even stood up to Baalasir when his girlfriend dumped him. And he was PISSED!  
"If Varis is scared, then we should be to," Osric said, "we have to get to the hideout."  
They got to the hideout and then Varis told them what happened.  
"What do you mean Princess Celestia was there," asked Tyleia.  
"Exactly what I said," Varis said.  
"Why is she here," Osric asked.  
"I don't know, she said she was watching us for awhile," he said.  
"That's right, I have been," said a voice behind them. They turned around to see Princess Celestia there. Baalasir ran up to attack, but was shot back as a bolt of magic hit him, severely injuring him.  
"Why would you do that," yelled Tyleia, who ran up to Baalasir who was struggling to get up.  
"You have been deemed unworthy of life," Celestia said.  
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU BITCH!?!?" Yelled Varis as he charged Celestia. She tried at shot him as well, but he dodged it and cut her leg.  
"AHHH," she yelled. "You will pay for that, until next time." Then she vanished.  
Baalasir groaned bringing everyone out of their trance.  
"Are you alright," Tyleia asked as she went to bandage him up.  
"Yeah, I'm fine. The bitch just nicked me," he said.  
"You need to rest," she said.  
"NO," he yelled.  
"Yes after a hit like that you need to heal," she said.  
"FINE," he yelled as he went to rest.  
"What just happened," Osric asked, "I must speak to Kail about this."  
"We're coming with you," Varis said, "If he knew about this, shits goin' down."  
"And maybe he can heal Baalasir," Tyleia added.  
Osric sighed, "Very well, we leave in the morning."  
The Truth  
The next morning Tyleia rode with Varis on his griffin while Baalasir rode his dragon with Osric trying to heal him.   
"Sooo," Varis said, trying to start a conversation, "what was that with Baalasir last night?"  
"What do you mean," she asked.  
"Why were you trying to help him and why did he listen," he asked.  
"Well, he saved me first before I was killed by a griffin made of rats."  
Kaasteel growled and said, "Excuse me?"  
"It's alright boy, she wasn't talking about you," Varis said.  
"Better not be," he said.  
"So you were saying," Varis said.  
"So I thought I owed him," she finished.  
"I think it was more than that," Varis said.  
Tyleia turned her head away as if she was blushing.  
"Way do you say that," she asked.  
"I've been around a long time my dear, I know love when I see it."  
"I-I don't know w-what your talking about," she said.  
"You can't hid your feelings forever," he said.  
"Well wh-," she started to say but Osric yelled "we're here."  
They landed and went inside. They made their way to where they last saw Kail…only to see him talking to the elements of harmony and……"CELESTIA, I WILL KILL YOU," yelled Varis as he charged toward her.  
He went to slit her throat, but was stopped by a Holy Avenger.  
"STOP" yelled a voice, it was……"Kail, what are you doing defending her, SHE TRIED TO KILL US!!!" Yelled Varis as he glared at him and Celestia. If looks could kill, everyone in that room would be dead.   
"Please, let me explain," Celestia asked.  
"Why should I trust you," Varis said.  
"Because it was not me who attacked you, it was the changeling queen," she said.  
"Yeah, likely story, but again, why should I trust you," asked Varis in an angry tone.  
"Varis, listen to me," it was Kail, "She is telling to truth. She allowed me to enter her mind to examine her memories."  
"So can we trust her?"  
"Yes we can."  
"………Alright then," he said, "why is she here and why are you here," gesturing to the 6 smaller ponies.  
"We are th-,"  
"Yes I know what you are, but why are you here."  
"Because we are the only ones who can stop her," said the cyan pony.  
"Now next question, what are your names," Varis asked, even though he already knew.  
"My name is Twilight Sparkle," said the purple pony, "I'm a unicorn."  
Next was the orange pony. "Mah name is Applejack, an' ah'm an earth pony."  
Then it was the cyan pony with a rainbow colored mane. "My name is Rainbow Dash, and I'm the fastest pegasus in all of Equestria."  
Then there was a pink blur and Varis was on the ground with a pink pony jumping on top of him. "HiI'mPinkiePie,oryoucancallmePinkieorPieorPinkiePie.What'syourname?Wherearewe?Whydoyo-," she was stopped by Varis's hand closing her mouth.  
"Shut it," he said.  
She got off him and then a white unicorn stepped forward. "My name is Rarity darling, and might I just say your clothes look absolutely hid-," she was stopped by Rainbow Dash. "Let's not make him mad OK?"  
Last was a yellow pegasus with a pink mane. She was so quiet, no one could hear her.  
"Nice to meet you Fluttershy," Varis said.  
All the ponies gasped. "How could you hear her, we were right next to her and WE couldn't hear her," said Rainbow Dash.  
"I'm a rouge, or an assassin if you will, and I've trained myself to be able to hear everything," he explained.  
"Well, now that you've introduced yourselves, my name is Varis, and that," he said pointing at the dwarf, "is Osric, the dragon-looking guy is Baalasir."   
Baalasir growled, causing all the ponies to jump at the sudden noise.  
"Relax, they don't know what a dragonborn is, so I explained it as simply as possible," Varis said.  
"And the women is Tyleia," he said, pointing to the woman.  
"Well, now that that's out of the way, Celestia, you have a lot of explaining to do," Varis said, trying his best not to put his sword though her throat.  
"I apologize for the misunderstanding, but that was not me," she said.  
"Well, we'll just have to trust your word and Kail says we can trust you so I believe you," he said. "But, you and the elements will have to help us beat the changeling queen."  
"We will do our best to help you," she said.  
"Good. Now all we have to do is find her."  
"Oh I don't think that will be necessary."  
They all turned to see the changeling queen standing there, holding what appeared to be a dragons head.  
The Pain and Love  
"VITROS," screamed Baalasir. "I'LL KILL YOU, I WILL KILL YOU, AND IT'S GOING TO BE ONE HELL OF A SLOW DEATH, YOU FUCKING BITCH!!!!!" As he said that his sword cut off her wings and then he turned around and cut her legs off. Her screaming made him happy, as he continued to hack and slash at her. When he was done, she was nothing more than a pile of mush and guts. The seven other ponies in the room all stood there in shock at what just happened.  
"Wait, what about Kaasteel," Varis asked.  
Suddenly the door swung open and Kaasteel limped in with so much blood on him that it was hard to see his black feathers.  
"KAASTEEL," screamed Varis as he ran to help his griffin friend.  
Kaasteel looked at him with a pleading look in his eyes.  
"Please," Kaasteel said, "help me."  
"Please Celestia, is there anything you can do to help him," Varis asked on the verge of tears.  
Celestia and the six smaller ponies looked like they were about to cry as well.  
"He is in very bad shape," she said, "but I see that you love him very much so I will do my best to heal him."  
Celestia walked over and put her horn against Kaaslteel's chest. As soon as her horn began to glow, Kaasteel's wounds started to mend together. As soon as she was finished she collapsed on the ground. The six ponies ran to Celestia while Varis ran to Kaasteel.  
"Are you alright," he asked.  
Kaasteel nuzzled him and said, "Yes, and thank you Celestia."  
"You're welcome," she said.  
Varis walked over to Celestia, who was just standing up and wrapped his arms around her neck and hugged her.   
"Thank you so much," he said, "there is no way I will be able to repay you for what you did. You have no idea how much Kaasteel means to me." He pulled away as he finished thanking her.  
"It was the right thing to do seeing how much you love him," she said, "I only wish I could do the same for Baalasir's dragon."  
Just then everyone heard a roar and the door swing open to revile……"VITROS" yelled Baalasir in draconic (language of the dragons) as he ran to his dragon. "How are you alive, she came in hear with your head."  
Vitros shook his head and nodded at the door.  
There was the body of a dragon that looked a lot like him.  
"No, that isn't your brother is it," he asked.  
Vitros moved his mouth and said something to Baalasir. They both looked like they were about to cry.  
"How did she find him," he asked.  
Vitros did a motion with his shoulders as if he were shrugging.  
"I see," Baalasir said.  
"Well we had better get home before it gets dark," Varis said as he mounted his griffin.  
"I would agree," Celestia said, "but we don't have a place to stay."  
"You can stay with us," Varis said.  
"What, why would you let us stay with you," Celestia asked.  
"Come on Tia, it's the least I can do after you healed Kaasteel."  
"I'm okay with it," Kaasteel said.  
"Alright, I guess that would be okay," Tyleia said.  
"I'm alright with it," Baalasir said.  
"I'm perfectly fine with them staying with us," Osric said.  
"It's settled then, you will stay with us as long as you like," Varis said, "Now earth ponies and unicorns get on either Vitros or Kaasteel."  
Twilight and Applejack went with Kaasteel, while Raity and Pinkie went with Vitros. Celestia, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy flew along side them while the rest got teleported by Osric.
What Now?  
(POV Change to Twilight)  
"Well what do we do now," Twilight asked.  
"Isn't it obvious," Rainbow Dash said, "We ask if they can train us to fight and defend ourselves."  
"I don't think that is a good idea," Twilight said.  
"What!? You saw how scared and helpless we were when the changeling queen showed up, we need to learn how to defend ourselves in this world," she argued.  
"…You make a good point," she said.  
"Alright," she finally said, "we ask them to teach us how to defend ourselves."  
"YES" yelled Rainbow, "this is going to be awesome."
The Picking of Weapons and Armor  
(POV change to Varis)  
They went to Varis to ask him their question.  
"Alright," he said  
"Now before you say no we ha- wait did you say yes?" Twilight asked.  
"Well you made very good points, so I might as well teach you how to fight."  
"Aww hay yeah," Rainbow said.  
"But," he said, "you need to make sure it's alright with Tia OK?"  
"I think it's the safest thing to do," a voice said.  
They turned to see Tia standing there.  
"Tia, you have to stop doing that," Varis said, "you're going to give me a heart attack."  
She chuckled, "Sorry, I couldn't help but overhear what you said and its alright with me."  
"Awesome," Rainbow said.  
"Well we should first get you some weapons," Varis said.  
"Where do we get weapons," Twilight asked.  
Varis led them down the hall to the end and touched the wall. As soon as he did, a door open and all the ponies gasp. The room was filled with every weapon you could imagine, from RPG's to battle axes.  
"Wow," Rainbow said, "that's a lot of weapons."  
"Don't tell Baalasir," he said.  
"OK," they all said in unison.  
"Look and see what you like," he said, but they were way ahead of him.  
Rainbow was already looking the RPGs, while Twilight was looking at the rapiers, even Tia was looking at some weapons.  
"What are these," Rainbow asked.  
"Those are called RPGs, or rocket propelled grenade, which is a very fast explosion," Varis answered.  
"We gettin' 20% cooler," she said while grabbing one.  
Twilight was using her magic to examine a rapier.  
"Ahh, the Rapier, excellent weapon for killing quickly, it would fit you perfectly," Varis said.  
Pinkie was looking at a chainsaw(dear god help us all) and said, "I want this one!"  
"Alright you'll have to ask Baalasir how to fight with that because I have no idea how," he said.  
Tia held up an 8 foot scythe.  
"What is this," she asked.  
"Ah the scythe, that is a great weapon to cut and slice through opponents quickly," Varis answered.  
"I think I would like to learn how to fight as well," she said.  
"I would love to teach you how to fight," he said.  
Rarity was looking Varis's most powerful pair of duel scythes.  
"These are absolutely beautiful," she said.  
"Well I'm glad you like them," Varis said, "they're my own hand made weapons, so I don't want them being used by anyone but myself."  
"But," he continued grabbing a polished scythe that was 5 feet long, "you can use this."  
She took it saying "thank you" and then Fluttershy walked up holding duel battle axes.  
"I would like to use these… if that's okay w-with y-you," she said.  
"If that's what you want to use, than that's fine with me."  
Then Applejack walked over with a light machine gun.  
"Ah woud lik' to use this here gun," she said.  
"That's perfect for you," Varis said.  
"Now then," Varis said, "we need to get you some armor."  
He walked to one wall that had armor that looked like it was made for horses.  
"These suits of armor were made for horses," he explained, "if we ever decided to get a horse for battle, and since you're here you will be using them."  
Rainbow was the first over there, grabbing a black and red suit of iron armor.  
Then it was Pinkie was over there getting some pure black scale armor.  
Then it was Twilight, who grabbed some steel armor.  
Rarity was grabbing the most polished steel armor while Fluttershy grabbed the scale armor.  
Then Applejack grabbed the branded iron armor.  
Then it was Tia's turn. She grabbed the white holy armor that Osric saved for if he got a horse.  
"The armor that you grabbed fit you all perfectly," he said, "especially you Tia."  
"Thank you," she said.  
"Now lets get you in your armor."  
Varis walked over to Rainbow and helped her slide in her armor over her wings.  
Varis then walked to Fluttlershy and helped her.  
He was about to go help Pinkie, but she had somehow already managed to get it on and was bouncing on the…ceiling?  
"I'm not even going to ask," he thought to himself.  
So he walked over to Applejack and helped her.  
He didn't need to help the unicorns or Tia because they already had magic to put it on.  
"Well, now that you're ready, how about we go to the training room?" he asked.  
"Alright," they all said in unison, even Tia did.  
"Alright then, follow me," he said, closing the door behind them.
The Training  
At this point everyone was up and talking.  
"Hey guys," Varis said, walking in the room, "I need your help with training them."  
"Okay," they all said.  
"Good, now Baalasir, you help Pinkie and Applejack. Tyleia, you help Rarity and Fluttershy. Osric will you help Rainbow Dash?"  
"Yes," he replied.  
"Good, then I will take Twilight and Tia."  
They all walked in to then training room and began training.  
"Now Twilight," Varis explained, "that weapon is used to quickly take someone down. It's thin because it's supposed to move quickly making it hard to block."  
"I see," she said.  
"Tia," he said, "your weapon is made to be sharp so it cuts through an opponents armor."  
"Marvelous," she said.  
"Now Twilight, take a swing to see how quick it is."  
She did, and nearly lost her grin on it with her magic.  
"Careful," he said, "I told you it was fast."  
"You weren't kidding."  
"Now your turn Tia."  
She swung her weapon… and nearly took Varis's head off in the process. Luckily he ducked just in time.  
"Oh goodness, I'm sorry are you all right," she asked, concerned.  
"Yeah I'm fine, I've had a lot of practice dodging swords."  
They continued training all day. The only other thing that happened was Rainbow blowing a hole in the wall.  
"Sorry?"
The Sparing  
The next couple of weeks they trained nonstop. They were getting better and better with each minute.  
"Well now that you're fully trained," Varis said, "why don't we spar with each other?"  
Rainbow was the first to speak.  
"I call fighting Baalasir!"  
Varis whispered in Baalasir ear, "Don't kill her."  
"I won't," he replied.  
Next was Twilight.  
"Me and Celestia want to face Varis."  
"Me? Why?"  
"Well," Tia began, "you did train us, so we thought it would be proper to face you."  
"Alright," he said.  
Next was Pinkie.  
"I want to face Baalasir too."  
"Great," Baalasir growled, "two against one."  
"Hey that's fair, you're a dragonborn and they're ponies," Varis said.  
Next was Rarity and Applejack.  
"We wish to fight Sir Osric," Rarity said.  
"Very well," Osric said.  
Fluttershy was next to speak.  
"I would like to face Tyleia, if that's okay with you."  
"I would love to face you," Tyleia said.  
"It's settled then," Varis said.  
They went outside and took up their stances.  
Twilight was the first to attack, taking a slash at Varis's legs.  
Varis saw this coming and jumped up and over Twilight and took a slash at her back as he went over.  
Twilight flattened herself to the ground and turned to see Varis already dodging attacks made by Celestia, so she went to help her.  
Meanwhile; Rainbow, Pinkie, and Baalasir faced each other.  
Rainbow, who had decided to keep a sword along with her RPG took a swing a Baalasir.  
He effortlessly pushed it aside and swung at her.  
She flapped her wings and shot into the air and fired a rocket at him.  
He dove to the side as it exploded behind him and Pinkie took this chance to attack.  
She brought down her chainsaw, but he rolled to the side and tried to swing at her, only to miss and stumble at the weight of his sword. Rainbow took this chance to fire at him again.  
Over with Osric, Rarity, and Applejack, they were in a hilt lockup, pushing against each other to gain the upper hand. While it was 2 on 1 Osric still held his own against the ponies. But after a few minutes though, he lost his footing and their swords came down on him. He jumped back and they missed. He ran towards them and continued to fight.  
Fluttershy and Tyleia looked at each other. Suddenly, Tyleia felt a strange feeling while staring at her. She felt like she couldn't move. "Wait a minute," she thought, "is she using the…STARE!?!?"  
She was, because as soon as she finished that thought, Fluttershy charged. She swung at her, but suddenly, Tyleia ducked.  
"What," Shy thought, "she shouldn't be able to move!?"  
Tyleia ran at Shy and swung. Shy blocked and they continued to fight.  
Back to Twilight, Tia, and Varis.   
Twilight ran up to help her mentor, who was fighting Varis without much luck.  
Twilight tried to swing at him, but he heard her coming and did a backflip over her.   
His plan was to take out her legs, but it backfired, because now he faced both of them at once. Tia and Twilight charged, causing him to have to block and dodge at the same time. He was out numbered and outmatched, and he knew it, but he wasn't going down with out a fight. He managed to hold them off long enough to land a scratch on Tia's armor, but was pushed to the ground a few seconds later with her blade at his throat.  
By now they were the only ones still fighting, as the ponies managed to beat all of them.  
"Damn," Varis said, out of breath, "that was… the best fight… I've had in years… even from the hydras."  
"Well, we had great teachers," Tia said, holding a hoof out to help him up.  
He grabbed it gratefully, and pulled himself up.  
"I think you're ready to face real enemies," he said.  
"What," Twilight said, "are you sure?"  
"Yes, no one has ever been able to beat us in a fight," he said.  
"Wow," Rainbow said, "I didn't think we were that good."  
"Well where do we find some enemies," Twilight asked.  
"Right hear," a voice said behind them.  
"Discord," Tia said.  
"That's my name, don't wear it out."
Harmony  
"What do you want Discord," Tia said.  
"Why, what I always wanted," he said, "after all, you made me like this."  
"What," Twilight asked, "what does he mean Celestia?"  
"I'll tell you after he's turned to stone," she said.  
"Alright here's the plan," Varis said, "Me, Osric, Baalasir, and Tyleia will distract him while you use the elements, okay."  
"Alright," they said.  
"What do I do," Tia asked.  
"Well isn't is obvious," he said, "you help us."  
"Alright," she said.  
(We all know what happens, while Discord is distracted, they turn him into stone, so I'll just skip to Tia's story)
The Truth of Discord's Past  
"Alright Tia," Varis said, "time to explain what he meant."  
"Alright," she said, "well it all happened 110 years ago."  
"Discord was not always like this, he was a good friend of mine and Luna's."  
"But one day he asked me a question I never thought I'd hear from him."  
Flashback  
"Tia," Discord said, "do you……love me?"  
"What," she said.  
"I asked do you love me?"  
"Discord, I love you as a friend, but I love somepony else."  
"WHAT!?!?"  
"Yes, I love somepony else."  
"Who," he yelled.  
"His name is Giovanni."  
"What why him," he asked.  
"Because he's smart, funny, and polite and I love him for it."  
"Fine lets see if you like his head on a platter," he yelled and teleported out of the room.  
"WHAT, YOU WOULD NOT DARE" she yelled at where he just was.  
"Sister, what's wrong," Luna asked, barging through the door.  
"Discord is going to kill Giovanni!!!"  
Luna gasped.  
"We have to save him," Tia said.  
"Oh it's far to late for that," Discord said holding a head in his claws.  
"No, you didn't," she yelled at him.  
"Oh but I did."  
"You will regret that," Luna said as she and Tia floated off the ground.  
"What are you doing," yelled Discord.  
"FOR CRIMES AGAINST HARMONY, AND AGAINST US, WE SHALL NOW USE THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY TO INPRISEN YOU IN STONE!!!!" Celestia and Luna yelled, using their royal Canterlot voices.  
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," he yelled as a rainbow colored missile was shot at him, turning him to stone.  
End Flashback (from now on first person story for Varis)  
"Wow," I said.  
"I never thought Discord loved you," Twilight said.  
"It shocked me to," Tia said.  
"But why," I asked.  
"I don't know."  
Rainbow was hovering in the air with a bored look on her face.  
"Whatever," she said, "can we fight some real enemies now?"  
"Yes Rainbow," I said, "we can fight some real enemies now."  
"Yes," she shouted, pumping a hoof in the air.  
I chuckled, "First we need to find some, so everyone get on either Kaasteel or Vitros."  
Tia and Me  
Twilight and Applejack rode on Kaasteel and Pinkie and Rarity rode on Vitros while Osric teleported.  
"Celestia," I said, "when we get there, I need to talk to you."  
"Very well," she said.  
I nodded.  
An hour later we arrived at the sky tower.  
"Alright," I said, hopping off of Kaasteel, "everyone follow Osric."  
They left while me and Tia stayed behind.  
"Tia, I have to ask, if it wasn't for Giovanni, would you have loved Discord?"  
"Why do you ask," she said.  
"Because I have to know," I said.  
"I don't know," she said, "it was a thousand years ago."  
"Well would you be willing to……love again?"  
"Probably, why," she asked.  
"Because…well…I think I… love you," I said.  
"What," she said.  
"I think I love you," I stuttered.  
"What, why do you love me?"  
"Because you're beautiful, smart, and you know how to stand up for yourself and your friends."  
"I see," she said.  
"If you don't think the same I under-."  
"No, I think I love you to," she said.  
"What, you're not creeped out that a human loves you," I said.  
"Of course not, Giovanni was a human too," she said.  
"But you said somePONY else," I said.  
"I didn't want the elements to know I loved a human," she said, hanging her head low.  
I couldn't take it, her looking like she was going to cry, so I walked over and wrapped me arms around her neck and ran my fingers through her mane.  
"Listen, it's okay," I said, "I'd do the same thing in your shoes…err…hooves."  
I felt tears roll down my back as she cried, and I felt tears run down my face as well.  
"I love you Varis," she said.  
"I love you too, Tia."  
She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.  
"Let's go find the others," I said.  
"Yeah," she said.  
When we found them they were all fighting 7 hydras.  
Tia and I ran up and took two out from behind.  
"'Bout time y'all showed up, we could use y'all's help," Applejack said.  
"We aim to please," I said.  
"Well, why don't you come help us then," Baalasir said.  
We all ran, while Rainbow shot rockets, and started killing off the hydras.  
After we were done we went to the hideout and Tia and I went outside to talk.  
"I'm glad that you feel the same why about me," I said.  
"Well I've had feelings for you ever since I healed your griffin," she said.  
"Really," I asked, "that long?"  
"Well, yeah."  
I leaned in and hugged her. "Well I love you more than Luna does."  
"OH, Luna," she yelled, "I forgot to tell you that she will be showing up soon."  
As soon as she said this……Luna showed up and saw us embracing.
Luna  
"HOW DARE YOU HURT OUR SISTER" she shouted in her royal Canterlot voice, causing me to cover my ears in pain.  
"THOU SHALL PAY FOR THINE ACTIONS!!!"  
She shot a bolt of magic at me, but I dodged it having fought the changeling queen before. She shot another one at me, but I couldn't get out of the way this time, and I knew it. I stood there waiting for the end, but it never came. I looked to see Tia had put a shield in front of me, stoping her sister's magic.  
"Sister," Tia said, "stop this madness, he was comforting me."  
Unbeknownst to us; everyone else had come out side to see what the shouting was about, and had heard what Tia just said, and stood there dumbstruck, especially Twilight.  
"What," Luna said, stopping her magic.  
"Yes, I love him, just as I loved Giovanni."  
"I'm sorry sister," she said, "I didn't know." She looked down as if she was going to cry.  
I walked over and put my hand on her shoulder, "It's all right, you didn't know, I would have done the same thing."  
"Really, you forgive me," she asked, on the verge of tears.  
"Yes we both forgive you." It was Tia who said this.  
"But why," she asked; looking up at us.  
"Because, just like he said, you didn't know."  
"I'm so sorry," she said, almost crying.  
I wrapped my arms around her and said, "It's okay."  
I felt her tears run down my back for about two minutes, before she looked back at me, smiling.  
"What is going on out here," yelled Twilight, breaking out of her trance.  
"How much did you see," Tia asked, not looking at them.  
"We heard how you love Varis," she said.  
"I was afraid you would say that," Tia mumbled.  
"Care to explain you two," Twilight said.  
"Ever since I healed his griffin, I've had feelings for him, the same I had for Giovanni, but I was afraid he wouldn't feel the same, until he told me he loved me."  
"But why would you love a human," Twilight asked, "no offense."  
"None taken," I said.  
"Because I loved one before, and had him taken from me," she said.  
"But you said you loved somePONY else," Twilight said as the realization dawned on her.  
"No, he was a human."  
Twilight just sat there, her jaw on the ground.  
"I appreciate your concern for my well being sister," Tia said, "but I can handle my own love life, thank you."  
"Very well," she said, "Varis, can I talk to you for a moment in private?"  
"OK," I said.  
The others all went inside while Luna and I walked into the forest.  
She suddenly stopped and looked at me, staring daggers into me.  
"Listen to me," she said, "if you hurt my sister in anyway, you will regret it."  
I put my hands up in surrender. "I would never dream of hurting you or your sister," I said.  
She suddenly started crying and threw her forelegs around me.  
"You have no idea what I've gone through to hear someone say that," she cried, "Thank you so much."  
I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her back.  
"I would never hurt any of you ponies," I said, "you all mean to much to me for that to happen."  
She calmed down after awhile and we walked home with her wing around my back and my arm around her neck.
I'm Baaack  
Me and Luna had been getting along much better after our talk in the forest. Tia and I have been getting more and more closer, and soon we were sleeping in the same bed(none of that shit you're thinking of intended).  
"Hey Tia," I said one night.  
"Hmm?"  
"Well I was wondering, where did you meet Giovanni?"  
"I meet him when he appeared in the Everfree forest."(cliché)  
"Really, because I had a good friend named Giovanni 115 years ago," I said.  
"Really, what did he look like," she asked.  
"He was my brother, so he looked a lot like me," I said.  
"My Giovanni was your brother," she gasped.  
"Yeah," I said.  
"That just makes me love you even more," she said, snuggling closer and resting her head on my chest.  
I ran my fingers through her mane and said, "I love you too."  
The next morning I got up and went to wake Tia up, but she wasn't there.  
"Maybe she is already up," I thought.  
I went downstairs to see if Tia was there, but she was nowhere to be found.  
"LUNA," I shouted.  
Luna came running down the stairs saying, "What is it?"  
"Tia's gone," I shouted.  
"We have to get the others and find her."  
Once we woke the others, we told them what happened.  
"We need to find her," I said.  
"She's right here," a voice said; a voice I recognized immediately.  
"Changeling," I shouted, turning to look at her. What I saw horrified me.  
She was holding Tia by the horn, ready to break it off. Tia looked like she was weak and ready to die from exhaustion.  
"DON'T YOU DARE HURT HER!!!!"  
"Then you will follow me," she said.  
"Where to," I asked.  
"Why to Equestria of course," she said, "after all I am the ruler now that the princesses left."  
"WHAT DID YOU DO!!!!!"  
"I'll show you," she said, and then we were in Equestria.  
It was nothing more than a bunch of ruble.
Equestria in Ruins  
"What happened," I said.  
"The princesses left and I took over."  
"WHAT DID YOU FUCKING DO," I shouted at her.  
"I destroyed everything to start fresh," she said.  
"Why," I asked.  
"Because," she said, "SHE TOOK AWAY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE BECAUSE HE DIDN'T BOW TO HER!!!!!"  
"What, I never killed anypony for not bowing," Tia said.  
"Exactly, for not bowing, but you killed him because he was a changeling who said he needed too talk to me, so you had him executed!"  
"I didn't want to kill him, but he forced me to do so," Tia said.  
"Yes," she said sarcastically, "because he wanted to see me before you killed him."  
"Well I didn't know that he was your lover," she said.  
At this point, the changeling queen wasn't even there, having left to sulk.  
"Wow Tia," I said, "you ruined a lot of lives, no offense."  
"You're right," she said,"I've ruined so many lives, and I might ruin your life to."  
"No, you could never ruin my life," I said, "only I could ruin my life."  
"But what if I got you killed, or I left you," she asked.  
"Then I would do anything and everything to find you and get you back."  
"Varis," she said, "if we don't make it, I need you to do something."  
"Anything."  
"Kiss me," she said.  
After a moments hesitation, I leaned toward her, put my arms around her, and kissed her. We sat there, kissing each other for what felt like an eternity. Finally, our lips parted, and we sat there just embracing.  
"I love you," Tia said.  
"I love you too," I replied, "more than anything in the world."  
"We have to stop her," she said.  
"We need the others first," I said, "and I need Kaasteel to get too her."  
"Alright, I'll see if I can get us back to get them," she said, "then we can defeat Crystalis."  
When we got back to earth, she grabbed the others while I grabbed Kaasteel and Baalasir grabbed Vitros, and we teleported back to Equestria.  
When we got there we made a plan.  
"Alright, here's the plan," I said, "me and Baalasir will attack Crystalis while everyone else protects and gets to the elements."  
"But I want to help you," Tia said once they were alone.  
"No," I said, "I can't lose you like I lost my mother."  
"What happened," she asked.  
"Later," I said, "Right now is not the time, and you will go with the elements, only you can truly protect them."  
"Okay," she said, "but if you die, I don't think I will be able to go on will out you."  
"It's alright," I said, "I will be back in 10 seconds flat."  
"I see what you did there," she said.  
I grinned and took off with Kaasteel, while Tia ran off to join the others.  
"You love her a lot, don't you," someone said.  
"Who said that," I asked.  
"I did."  
I looked down to see Kaasteel looking at me.  
"How can you talk, physically I mean."  
"We're in Equestria," Kaasteel said.  
"Ohh," I said, "Yeah, I love her a lot."  
"Good," he said.  
True Form  
Baalasir was already in the air heading towards where the changeling queen was.  
"Bout time you showed up," he said.  
"Wouldn't miss it for the world."  
We reach her and landed in front of her.  
"Well, well, well, you finally showed up."  
"Listen Crystalis, I know how you feel, about losing a loved one, I can help you," I said.  
"What do you mean, 'you know how I feel'?"  
"I lost my mother the same way you lost your lover."  
"She was executed too," she asked.  
"Yes," I said, "and I vowed to kill everyone involved in her death, and I did, but I didn't feel any better about it, in fact, I felt worse."  
"Why," she asked.  
"Because I killed them all in cold blood. And I had killed many people who weren't involved. So please, you can have your revenge, but there is no need to kill everyone."  
By now I was right in front of her, staring her in the eyes.  
Suddenly she started to cry. I walked over and wrapped my arms around her.   
"It's alright, I did the same thing," I said.  
Out of nowhere she began to change, and instead of an insect pony, she became a beautiful light blue alicorn with a white mane.  
"Thank you," she said.  
"Anything for a friend," I said.  
She backed up and looked me in the eyes, and I saw her beautiful blue eyes.  
"Your eyes are beautiful," I said.  
"Thank you. This is my true form," she said.  
"What do you mean?"  
"When I'm shown true friendship, I find my true form."  
"I see," I said, "Will you follow me?"  
"Of course," she said.  
We walked to the main hall, my arm around her neck her wing around my back, and found Tia and the elements fighting an army of changelings.  
"STOP," Crystalis yelled.  
Everyone froze in place. Tia turned to see me beside the true form of Crystalis.  
"WHO IS THAT," she shouted, angry.  
"Tia, this is Crystalis," I said.  
"What?"  
"Yes," Crystalis said, "this is my true form. After I am shown true friendship, I find it."  
"I can't believe it," Luna said, walking over, "I never thought I'd see you like this again."  
"It's good to see you not as Nightmare Moon," she said.  
Luna chuckled.  
"Well what do we do with the changel-," Rainbow began, but then saw what was behind her.  
The changelings had changed into their true form, looking like they had no idea where they were.  
"R-Rumble," Rainbow said, looking at a green and yellow pegasus, "is that y-you?"  
"Rainbow," he said.  
She flew over to him and tackled him to the ground, hugging him tightly.  
"They said you were dead," she said, crying tears of joy.  
"Rainbow," he said, "I'm fine."  
"I love you," she said.  
"I love you too," he said.  
After we all got their bearings, I walked over to Tia and took her out of the room to talk to her in private.  
"So, did you really kill him for not bowing to you," I asked.  
"…yes I did," she said, "but not because he didn't bow, but because he said he had to see the changeling queen."   
"I understand," a voice said behind them. They turned to see Crystalis standing there.  
"Sorry," she said, "but I understand why you had him executed."  
"But I shouldn't have killed him," she said, "if I had known he was your lover and he just wanted to talk to you, I would've let him go."  
"While that is true, you didn't know, so you took precautions."  
"I'm so sorry Crystalis," Tia said, starting to cry.  
The former changeling queen walked over and nuzzled her cheek.  
"No," she said, "I'm the one who should be sorry, I learned from a good man that killing in cold blood doesn't help. The only thing that does is knowing that you can't hold onto the past, for it doesn't help at all, only makes things worse." She winked at me.  
I walked over and hugged both of them.  
"It looks like we learned a good lesson in friendship and trust," I said.  
"Yes we did," Tia said, "yes we did."  
My Mothers Death  
"Now," Crystal said, "how did you lose your mother?"  
"Well, it was 200 years ago."  
(Flashback)  
"Mom, can I go play with Giovanni," Varis asked.  
"Yes you can."  
Varis ran off with his older brother, while his mother saw two guards walking towards her.  
"Ma'am we need you to come with us," they said.  
"Why," she asked.  
"For harboring an alleged criminal."  
They put her in handcuffs and walked her to the courthouse.  
There she was sentenced to death.  
The next day, having not been able to find his mother at home, Varis and Giovanni were walking through town when they heard shouting.  
Following the noise, they saw their mother about to be hanged.  
"Mother," Giovanni yelled, but was caught by two guards.  
"Sir, you are hereby sentenced to death for the murders of three women."  
"What, I never killed anybody."  
They took him to a noose and wrapped it around his neck. Varis just stood there in shock.  
They didn't say anything as they pulled the lever and let them drop.  
As he was chocking, Giovanni vanished into thin air.  
But his mother died from suffocation.  
(End Flashback)  
"They killed him because they thought he killed people," Tia said.  
"Yes," I replied, "never ask me to tell the story again."  
"As you wish."  
The Teaching of Luna and Crystal  
We had decided to take Crystalis, or who we now call Crystal, back to earth with us, as she had wanted to know more about us. We got back and I decided to teach her and Luna(who had not been taught) how to fight.   
"Alright," I said, taking them to the secret room, "now I'm going to teach you how to fight with weapons instead of using magic all the time."  
"Okay," they said.  
"Now, choose a weapon to your liking and bring it to me and I'll get you a suit of armor."  
They were already looking at weapons. Crystal was looking at a wicked looking at a Frostmorne.  
"Ahh, "I said, "the Frostmorne, a powerful weapon made of ice. Powerful indead." Luna looked at a pair of midnight colored scythes.  
"Duel scythes are an excellent choice, in fact I use my pair of scythes."   
"Now lets get you some armor," I said.  
I walked them over to the wall that had the armor and let them look at it. Luna choose a scale suit of very dark purple armor that looked like her mane and Crystal got a suit of pure red steel armor.   
"Perfect," I said, "now lets put it on." I walked over to Luna, who was having the most trouble with the chest plate, and helped her put it on, then helped Crystal put hers on.  
"You look read for battle," I said.  
I took them down to the training room.  
"Now," I said, facing Luna, "take a swing with your scythes."  
"Okay," she said.  
She swung, barely missing me as I dove backwards.  
"Oh my," she said, "are you alright?"  
"Yeah I kinda saw that coming, your sister did the same thing."  
I looked at Crystal, "Well, it's your turn, go ahead swing it."  
She did and again I found myself hitting the floor to keep my head where it was.  
"Guess I swung a little to hard," she said sheepishly, looking at the sword that was now stuck in the wall on the other side of the room.  
"Holy shit," I mumbled.  
For the next few weeks they trained and trained until they were ready to face me, like the others did.  
"Why would we fight you," Luna asked.  
"Because," I said, "we need to be sure that you're ready to face a real enemy without having you fight something to strong for you."  
"Oh," she said, "Well, when do we fight?"  
"Right now," I said, taking them outside, where everyone was already waiting.  
"We even have an audience," I said.  
"No," Rainbow said, "We're here to make sure you don't hurt them."  
"Haha very funny."  
We took our stances facing each other waiting for the other to make a move. I charged, and as I thought everyone was confused, because they knew I never make the first move. I ran at them and jumped over them and swung at their backs. They turned around and block both of my scythes and pushed them away. I pretended to stumble backwards, and they took the chance to attack. However, I was not expect them both to attack at the same time. I block Luna's scythes and dodged Crystals Frostmorne. I was then under the onslaught of three different weapons.  
"Teamwork," I said, "Smart, but ineffective."  
I jumped back and rolled around them to get behind them again, but was unsuccessful, as they were expecting it and had already turned around. As I rolled to my feet, I was somehow attack from behind. Luckily my wards protected me(Eragon reference, anyone who doesn't get it…Fuck you), but it was enough force to push me forwards and fall to the ground with a sword on my chest.  
"Alright," I said, "how did you get behind me?"  
"Simple," Crystal said, "Luna teleported behind you while you were rolling and push you forwards while I tripped and pinned you."  
"Alright, you beat me fair and square," I said.  
"Way to go Luna and Crystal," Tia said.  
Luna held out her hoof and I took it gratefully.  
"Well we had the best teacher," she said.  
"Are you guys always so humble," I asked.  
"Yeah," Crystal said, "they are."  
"Thanks," I said to Luna, "you ponies are natural fighters."  
"Thank you," they all said.  
"Why don't we all head inside," I said.  
They went inside, but I stopped Tia, Luna, and Crystal.  
"Hey, I need to talk to you," I said.  
"Yeah," Luna said, "what is it."  
"Did you guys mean it when you said you had a great teacher?"  
"Of corse we did," Tia said.  
"Yeah," Crystal said, "you're the best teacher anypony could ask for."  
"That's good."  
"Luna, Crystal, will you two go inside," Tia said, "I need to talk to Varis alone."  
"Of course," they said and went inside.  
"What is it," I asked.  
"I just wanted to spend some alone time with you," she said.  
"Well, what are we waiting for," I said, "where do you want to go?"  
"To Equestria."  
To Equestria  
"Are you sure?"  
"Yes."  
"Alright, but we have to tell the others."  
"You go tell them, I'll get the spell ready."  
So I told them that we were leaving and went back to Tia to find her crying.  
"Tia," I said, walking up to her and hugging her, "What's wrong?"  
"I was just remembering Giovanni."  
"It's alright," I said, "l'm here and I'll never leave you."   
"That's good to hear," she said.  
I kissed her, and said, "Well, why don't we go to Equestria then."  
"WAIT," we heard a voice say behind us.  
We turned and saw the other 8 ponies running towards them.  
"We want to go to," they said.  
"Okay," I said.  
"Great, we wanted to go back sometime."  
So Tia teleported all of us to Equestria.  
When we got there, the mane six said their goodbyes and left for Ponyville, while Tia, Luna, Crystal, and I stayed in the palace.  
"Tia, Crystal, may I have a moment with Varis?"  
Tia looked at me with worry in her eyes. I just nodded my head.  
"Alright," Tia said. Then they left the room.  
"What did you want Luna," I asked.  
"I wanted to ask you if-if y-you……like me?"  
"Of course I like you," I said, but I knew what she meant.  
"No I mean," she stuttered, "do you love me."  
I was still shocked when she said that, even though I was expecting it.  
"Luna," I said.  
"I know you're dating my sister, but can't you love us both?"  
"I… don't know," I said, "I'm not sure if Tia would be okay with it."  
"It's okay with me," Tia said from behind them.  
"Tia, I swear to god," I said, "if you do that again, you're going to regret it."  
She chuckled.  
"Wait," Luna said, "did you say it was okay if I dated Varis too?"  
"Yes," she said, "I was wondering when you would ask."  
She 'squeed' in joy and hugged me so tight I couldn't breath.  
"Luna…can't…breathe," I gasped out.  
"Oh, sorry," she said letting go.  
"I'm glad you love him as much as I do," Tia said.  
"Well," Tia said, "why don't we take this love upstairs."  
"I'm in," I said.  
"Me too," Luna said.  
"Great," Tia said with that very creepy grin of hers, which reminds me of a rape face(link at bottom of page).  
Tia's Bedroom

We went upstairs to Tia's royal chambers, and I gasped at the size of the room. It was equal to the size of our house back on earth.  
I could only think of two words to describe what I felt, "Holy Shit".  
"Nice isn't it," Tia said.  
"Even mine's not this big," Luna said.  
"Well," I said, "why don't we get to the huge bed over there."  
"Beat you there," Luna and Tia said at the same time.  
I strode over to them, and lay beside them.  
"This is nice," I said, "just the three of us, laying here, no one else around."  
They take my hint and start to take their armor off, while I took my armor off, and left my tunic and leggings on.  
"Well come on," Tia said, "don't be shy."  
I walked over to them, but was knocked out cold by something hitting the back of my head.  
(Hahahaha, told you there wouldn't be any clop, you perverted fucks)  
"Ow," I said, waking up with what felt like the worst hangover ever, "What the fuck happened?"  
"You were knocked out when Luna's magic went crazy from excitement," Tia said.  
"Ohhhhhhkay, weird but legit," I said.  
"Sorry," Luna said.  
"It's all right," I said.  
"Well we should get the elements and Crystal, and get back to earth."  
"How come," I asked.  
"Well the time difference is great," she said.  
"Oh much," I asked, curious.  
"Wellll," she said, "one day here is one year in your world."  
"Oh shit," I said, "we have to go back, NOW!!!!"  
"What's the rush," Luna asked.  
"Because," I said, "we have to fight a war with hell spawn, TODAY on earth."  
"Quick," Tia said, "we have took go now." She knew what I meant by hell spawn, because I explained them to her.  
"Okay," Luna said, "I'll get the elements, you get Crystal."  
Once we got everybody together, Tia got us back to earth, but what we saw made our hearts sink.
Hell on Earth…Literally  
Hell had already broken loose, literally, and all our friends were fighting for their lives.  
I saw Kaasteel fly over head and whistled. He heard me. He looked down and saw me and dove right down on top of me.  
"Ahh it's good to see you to boy, but we need to find the others."  
"Varis, about time you got here," he said, "Get on my back, I'll take you to the others."  
"Tia, Luna, and Crystal, you'll have to carry the 4 that can't fly, can you do that," I asked.  
"Yes," Tia said.  
"Good, then follow us."  
I took of with Kaasteel and he took us to where the others were. When we found them, they were fighting 15 hydras, 5 griffins, and 2 dragons. I dove on top of one of the dragon and went to kill it, but then saw it was Vitros.  
"Sorry Vitros," I said.  
He growled as I jumped to the other dragon and killed it. I then killed 3 of the griffins and 5 of the hydras with surprised looks on their faces.  
"Bout fuckin' time you show up," Baalasir said, "you've been gone a whole year."  
"Sorry, damn time difference is crazy."  
By then the rest had shown up and finish off the rest of the monsters.  
"What do we do now," Tyleia asked.  
"We need to get somewhere safe and formulate a plan, and I take it the hideout was found?"  
"Yes," Osric said, "but we managed to save all of the armory."  
"That's awesome," I said, "so do we have anywhere safe to go?"  
"Yes," he said, "we are staying with Kail and the Arch-Angels."  
"Thank God," I said, "Lets get going."  
Kail and the Arch-Angels  
When we got to the new hideout, we found Kail and the Arch-Angels there.  
"Why don't you say their names pal," Pinkie said.  
"Who," I asked.  
"He's writing this book," she said.  
(Author talking)  
Pinkie don't tell them that!!!!  
"Okay," she said.  
"What the fuck," I said.  
"Don't try to understand Pinkie," Twilight said, "or your head will explode."  
"I got the message," I said, feeling my head swelling, like it was going to explode, twice.  
"Well," Kail said, "we need to form a plan."  
"Yes," I said, "but we need to know, who is leading the demon army."  
"I believe you," he said, gesturing to the ponies, "call him Discord."  
"WHAT," Tia said, "how did he escape."  
"Like always," someone said.  
They turned and saw Discord.  
The Death of Disharmony  
"What the fuck is with you guys popping up out of nowhere," I said.  
"We're good at it," he said.  
"Yeah, fuck you too," I replied.  
"No, now I'm going to kill you all."  
"Good luck with that, no one is more powerful than the Arch-Angels."  
"Well see about that," he said, teleporting us in the middle of the battlefield that used to be our home. I looked around at the ruble, ready to burst into flames from anger.  
"What did you do to our home," I said, barely controlling my anger.  
"Well," he started.  
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!!!!"  
"I destroyed it," he said.  
"FUCK YOU, AND FUCK YOUR ARMY," I yelled, charging him.  
"Go ahead and try," he said.  
I ran up, shouting, "FOR OUR HOME," and sliced my two scythes at him, leaving a huge gash.  
"WHAT, HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE," he yelled, clutching the gash.  
"YOUR POWER IS GENERATED OFF OF CHOAS," I yelled, "BUT MY POWER IS FUELED BY ANGER, AND YOU'VE ROYALY PISSED ME OFF!!!!!"  
"Nononononono," he said, "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"  
I ran up and sliced him in half, then kept cutting him til there was nothing left but guts and skin.  
"Varis," Tia said, walking up to me, "He's dead, you can stop."  
"…you're right," I said.  
"We need to finish off the army," Kail said.  
"I'll take care of them in 10 seconds flat," Rainbow said.  
We ran at what was left of the army, which was standing there, looking at their dead leader. We cut and sliced while Rainbow shot missiles, and soon enough, the army returned to hell.   
"We'll that was fun," I said.  
"Hay yeah it was," Rainbow said.  
"Well, lets not do it again," I replied.  
"I agree," Tia said.  
"Well," I said, "now we need to clean up the mess."  
"Leave that to us," the Arch-Angels said.  
They waved their hands and their whole bodies began to glow. Soon all the building had been restored.  
Tia and Luna  
"Well," I said, "it's good to be back in our own house."  
"Yes it is," Tia said.  
"Hey Luna, Tia," I said, "can you come with me a minute."  
"Sure," they said, following me outside.  
"Do you want to watch the sunset," I asked.  
"Of course," they said with enthusiasm.  
We sat there and watch the sunset. It was beautiful; purple, red, orange, all the colors you can imagine in a sunset.  
"It's beautiful," Tia said.  
"Yeah," Luna said, "it sure is."  
After the sun had set and the moon had risen, we went back inside and went upstairs.  
"Do you guys want to sleep with me," I asked.  
"Yes," they replied in unison.  
"Well come on," I said, "lets get in bed."  
We got on the bed, and I found myself with their head on my chest and their hooves wrapped around me. I ran my fingers though their manes and behind their ears.  
"I love you guys," I said.  
"We love you too," they replied.  
I continued to stroke their manes until they feel asleep on my chest. I laid my head back and fell asleep with my hands still stroking their manes.  
When I woke up, I was relived to see they both still had their heads on my chest. I began to stroke their ears until they woke up.  
"Good morning," I said.  
"Good morning," Tia replied.  
"It's morning already," Luna asked, looking around.  
"Yep," a voice said from the door.  
They turned to see…"Twilight," Tia said, "what are you doing here?"  
"I came to see if it was true, and I guess it was."  
"What," I said, irritated, "do you have a problem with dating the princesses?"  
"No," she said, "I have a problem with you dating BOTH of the princesses."  
"Why," Luna asked, "can't we both be happy?"  
"I just don't think it's right for sisters to date the same po- I mean person."  
"Well," I said, "I think you're mad because the princess spends more time with me than her prized student."  
"Twilight, is that true," Tia asked, looking at her with concern.  
She ran to the princess, "Yes it is, I just miss you so much, ever since you started dating him."  
"Twilight," I said in a soothing voice, "I would never take your princess away from you."  
"P-promise," she said.  
"Pinkie Promise," I said.  
"Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a cupcake in my e- OWW fuck that hurt," I said, pretending to poke myself in the eye.  
They chuckled.  
"Did someone say Pinkie Promise," Pinkie said, popping out from behind a lamp shade.  
"Yes, I made a Pinkie Promise," I said.  
She got right in my face and spoke in her VERY rarely used serious voice.  
"You better not break that promise, because if you do, you'll regret it."  
I put my hands up in surrender and she was back to her regular self, bouncing up and down on the ceiling.  
"Twilight," Tia said, "you are still my prized student, it's just that he's my lover."  
"I understand," she said.  
"Good," Tia said, "now why don't we go train in the training grounds Hmm?"  
"Okay," she said, "I'll go get ready."  
She left the room and Tia got up and went to go get ready, so it was just me and Luna.  
Pinkie where did you go now?  
"Right here," she said.  
Get out of their room, NOW!!!  
"Okay," she said, "sheesh calm down."  
Me and Luna just sat there, not wanting to move. Suddenly, Luna leaned over and kissed me. I returned the favor and kissed her back.  
"I love you Varis," she said, pulling back.  
"I love you too," I said.  
I kissed her again and we sat there, just staring in each others eyes.  
"You eyes are beautiful," I said.  
"Really?" She asked.  
"Yes, it's like you can see all the knowledge of the night in those eyes."  
"Thank you," she said.  
"And your mane, it's like you have all of the stars in the night sky in your mane. Beautiful."  
"You're to kind," she said.  
"Well, I do love you don't I," I said.  
"Well, I love you too," she replied.  
"Good because I have something to give to you and your sister."  
"Really," she said, amazed, "what is it."  
"Wait until Tia gets back," I said.  
"Fine," she said, grumbling to herself.  
"I love you too," I said, smiling.  
We went outside to see how Tia and Twilight were doing. They were pretty well matched, seeing how Twilight was using a Rapier and Tia was using an 8 foot scythe.  
"Wow, they're pretty well match considering," I say to Luna.  
"Yes they are."  
"Think we should join in," I asked, a mischievous grin on my face.  
"I think that would be fun," she said, drawing her scythes.  
I readied my weapons and charged, shouting.  
They turned with confused looks on their faces, which quickly turned to shock as me and Luna attacked.  
I swung at Tia while Luna attacked Twilight. They blocked and we fought for what seemed like hours. Finally, I managed to get behind Tia with my blade to her throat.  
"You have to expect anything," I whispered in her ear, "even when you are fighting someone."  
"Well," she said as I let her go, "it's good to see you don't like to play fair."  
"You think the enemies do," I said.  
"I guess you got a point."  
We went inside and talked about fighting techniques. When we were done Crystal walked in.  
"Hey Crystal," I said, "what's up."  
"I need to talk to you in private," she said.  
I looked at Tia and Luna and nodded my head. They then walked out of the room.  
"What did you wa-," I started, but was cut off when Crystal ran up and hugged me tightly.  
"I love you Varis," she said.  
"What," I said.  
She pulled back, her eyes were tearing up.  
"I love you," she said again.  
"Why," I asked.  
"Because, you showed me the first true friendship I've had since Tialmi," she said.  
"I get that," I said, "but why me."  
"Because Tia and Luna love you, and I think that if you can get them to love you, than you must be a great lover."  
"Well, you got a point there," I said.  
"I want to be loved again," she said, "I haven't felt true love since Tialmi died."  
"Well, I think that is a good reason," someone said from behind us.  
"Seriously, what the fuck is with you guys popping up behind me!?" I said.  
"Sorry," Luna said.  
"Well I think that if Crystal loves you, than that's fine with me," Tia said.  
"Well that's good," I said, "because I love her just as much as you guys."  
She squeed in joy like Luna did, and hugged me till my face was blue.  
"Crystal, you're chocking him!"  
"Ohh," she said.  
I fell to the ground gasping for breath.  
"Wow…that was one…tight hug," I said, still trying to catch my breath.  
"Listen, Crystal," I said, looking at her, "I love you too."  
We all somehow managed to sleep in the same bed that night.  
"I love you," I said.  
"I love you to," they said in unison.  
I smiled. I stroked their manes until we fell asleep.  
In the morning I looked down too find that Luna wasn't there.  
"I bet she's already up," I thought.  
I woke up Crystal and Tia and told them what I found.  
"Well, lets go see if she is downstairs," Tia said.  
We walked downstairs, only to find that Luna wasn't there and the moon was still up.  
"What time is it," I said, completely calm.  
"About 11:00, why."  
"Well, either the earth stop spinning, or Nightmare Moon is back," I said, pointing outside.  
"No," Tia said.  
"We have to stop her," Crystal said.  
We ran outside to find Nightmare Moon standing there.  
"NIGHTMARE!!!" I shouted.  
"Yes," she said in her creepy voice.  
"What have you done to Luna."  
"Why, I've taken over her body again, and now there shall be eternal night."  
"Really," I said sarcastically.  
"What," she asked.  
"That's the best you can come up with."  
"What do you mean?"  
"I mean, you're Nightmare Moon, you should be able to come up with something better than eternal night," I said.  
"And furthermore, why do you want eternal night?"  
"Because," she said, getting angry, "everypony shuns and sleeps through my beautiful night."  
"No," I said, "Do you have any idea how many people and ponies sleep through the day, just to stay up all night to look at your beautiful stars and just stare at the wonderful moon?"  
"What," she said, "I had no idea that ponies did that."  
"Do you want to know how many people do that?"  
"Yes I do," she said.  
"Just under 5 billion do."  
Her jaw landed on the ground, along with everybody else's.  
"You see, people and ponies love to watch your night," I said, "it's just that a lot of people and ponies have to work all day, so they come home tired and just NEED sleep."  
"I see," she said, "I'm sorry everypony, I had no idea that ponies or people did that."  
"Now Nightmare, will you release Luna?"  
"Yes, again I am so sorry," she said, crying.  
I walked up to her and put my arms around her.  
"Listen to me," I said, "you were just jealous that people slept through your night, but how many do you think have the time to stare at the sun all day."  
"Not a lot," she said, calming down.  
"That's right, and if they did, they would probably go blind."  
She giggled.  
"Thank you Varis," she said, "I hope to see you again sometime."  
"Well, next time under better circumstances," I said, chuckling.  
Suddenly, a blue mist lifted off of Luna and flew away. I waved at it, and it formed what looked like a hand and waved back before disappearing.  
Luna was just waking up when I looked back.  
"Luna," I said, "are you OK?"  
"Yeah, I'm fine."  
"Good. Well, did you hear what I said?"  
"Yes I did," she said.  
"Well, why don't we go inside for some breakfast?"  
"OK," they said.  
When Tia and Crystal were inside, I stop Luna to talk to her.  
"Luna," I said, "why did you give in to Nightmare again?"  
"Because," she said, "…you know what, just forget it."  
"No Luna," I said, "you need to tell me why."  
"FINE," she said, "I did it because you love Tia more than me." She broke down into tears.  
I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her neck, lifted her head up, and kissed her.  
"Luna, if I loved anypony more than the others, it would be you."  
She just sat there.  
"I love you just as much as Tia or Crystal," I said.  
She smiled, "But why?"  
I leaned closer and nuzzled her cheek with mine.  
"Because," I whispered in her ear, "You are all unique."  
She pulled her head back and kissed me.  
She started crying again.  
"I love you Varis," she said.  
"I love you too," I said.  
We went inside after she had calmed down and saw that Tia and Crystal had already made breakfast.  
"What's the occasion," I asked.  
"Well, we're celebrating the fact that Nightmare has turned good."  
"OK," I said.  
We ate our breakfast and by then everyone else had woken up. After everyone else had eaten, we decided to spar as teams.  
"Alright, how about we spar," I suggested.  
"I'm in," Rainbow said.  
"Me too."  
"Us too," Tyleia said.  
"Good," I said. "Now why don't we get in teams of 6?"  
"OK," they said.  
"Good," I said, "I'll go with Tia, Luna, Crystal, and Twilight."  
We went outside and took up our stances. Baalasir and Rainbow charged. Rainbow attack me while Baalasir attacked Crystal. I block Rainbow's sword and attack back. She shot up in the air and attempted to shoot at me, but I grabbed her legs as she took off and yanked her back down. I jumped over her and ran at Rarity. I swung at her, but she blocked it. I retaliated by swinging at her leg, then changed directions and swung at her head. She saw this however, and blocked my scythe. She then retaliated by swinging at my legs. I dodged and got behind her and pinned her to the ground.  
"Rarity's out," I say.  
"Now my coat's all dirty," she whined as I ran to take down Baalasir, who was fighting Luna.  
I ran up behind him and tackled him to the ground with my blade at his throat.  
"Baalasir is down."  
Tia was fighting Tyleia and did a miniver I hadn't see in 500 years, literally.  
Tia brought her sword across Tyleia's legs as if she was taking her out. Tyleia attempted to jump over it, but then Tia brought her blade up and knocked her feet out from under her.  
"Tyleia is down," she said.  
By now it was just Pinkie, Applejack, and Osric. Tia, Luna, Crystal, and I ran at them (Twilight had been taken down along with Rainbow). Then I did something that I hadn't done in years, I jumped over them and tackled Applejack from behind, then took Osric down by swiping his legs out from under him. Luna and Tia were having trouble with Pinkie(anypony surprised?), so I ran over and knocked Pinkie to the ground.  
"Tia, Luna, Twilight, Crystal, and Varis win," Pinkie said.  
"Tia," I said, getting up, "can I talk to you for a moment?"  
"Yes."  
We walked out into the forest.  
"Tia," I said, "where did you learn that move that you used on Tyleia?  
"I don't know, it just felt natural."  
"Okay," I said.  
"Hey," she said, "do you want to talk to Luna and Crystal too?"  
"Actually, I would like to go to Equestria and explore, since the last two times were cut short."  
Alicorn Form  
"Well, get pack up then," she said.  
"Great, and Luna and Crystal would like to come to," I said.  
"Alright," she said, "I love you."  
"Love you too," I said.  
I went inside and got packed saying that we'll be gone for a couple years earth time.  
"Tia, you ready," I asked.  
"Yeah," she said.  
She teleported us to Equestria.  
"Hey Tia," I said when we got there, "do you think you l can turn me into a pony to keep from arousing unwanted attention?"  
"Well, I'm not sure what type of pony you'll be."  
"Only one way to find out of course," I said.  
"Very well," she said.  
She charged up the right spell and shot a bolt of magic at me. I felt my body changing, my arms and legs shifting, face getting longer, the whole deal. Suddenly I grew wings on my back, but once the magic hit my head… I grew a HORN too!!! I had a red coat and a orange mane that looked like flowing fire. My wings looked like an angle's wings.  
"I'm an alicorn," I said.  
"Amazing," was all Tia, Luna, and Crystal could say.  
"Well, can I change back to my human form at will," I asked.  
"Yes."  
"Good," I said, "Well, I'll go explore Canterlot and then Ponyville."  
He's Alive  
I flew off to explore, leaving Tia, Luna, and Crystal to find out what just happened.  
I was exploring Canterlot on fo- err hoof. After awhile I was being noticed by a lot of ponies that were just staring at me.  
I decided that enough was enough and flew off to Ponyville. Once I got there, I turned back into a human and stayed in the shadows. Suddenly, I was tackled by a very famous mint-green unicorn.  
"SHIT!!!!" I yelled, shoving the mint-green pony off me and ran I the opposite direction.  
"Wait," she yelled.  
"NO WAY LYRA!!!" I yelled back.  
I kept running until I ran into another……"HUMAN!!!"  
"Who are you," he asked, getting up.  
"I should ask you the same question," I replied.  
"I am Giovanni," he said.  
I just stood there, shocked. "Could this be my brother," I thought.  
"And who are you," he ask.  
"It's me, Varis."  
"Varis…is it really you?"  
I ran over and gave him a brotherly hug.  
"What happened to you, you vanished before you died."  
"Celestia brought me here."  
"Well, mom didn't make it," I said.  
"I can't believe you're alive," he said.  
My eyes widen, "That reminds me, Tia thinks you're dead!!!"  
"What?!?!"  
"Come with me, I'll take you to her," I said.  
I turned into my alicorn form and told him to get on.  
"How can you turn into an alicorn?!"  
"I'll explain later," I said.  
I flew us to Canterlot castle, and told Giovanni too hide while I got Tia.  
"Tia," I said, walking into the throne room.  
"Yes?"  
"Come with me, I need to show you something, you too Luna."  
I walked them outside where Giovanni was hiding.  
While I was talking to them, Giovanni snuck up on them. Suddenly, he tackled both of them; only to be pushed off by a bolt of magic.  
"It's good to see you still got it Tia," Giovanni said.  
Tia and Luna eyes widen and they turned and tackled him to the ground, hugging him to death, literally.  
"Tia," I said, chuckling, "he can't breath."  
"I can't believe you're alive," they said.  
"What do you mean, I've just been gone."  
"But," Luna said, "We saw Discord with your head in his hands!"  
"Ohh, that," he said looking at Tia, "that wasn't me, it was our son."  
"What," Tia said.  
"Yes, he killed our son."  
Tia looked heartbroken.  
"Why would he do that?"  
"Because he couldn't kill me so he killed him instead. I tried to save him but I was to late. I'm so sorry Tia."  
She and Giovanni were crying. I, on the other hand, was furious that Discord would do such a thing. That was a new low even for him.  
I was still in my alicorn form, so my orange mane was flashing; turning into real flames and then changing back to its original color. The ground around me was shaking like there was an earthquake.  
Suddenly, I heard a voice behind me say, "Varis, please calm down." It was Crystal.  
I calmed down instantly.  
"Thank you Crystal," I said, walking over to her and giving her a hug. She hugged back.  
"There was nothing you can do," she said.  
"You're right."  
Suddenly I heard a voice that made all my anger come back.  
"Well, isn't that touching," Discord said.  
FUCK YOU DISCORD  
"I'm not even going to bother trying to reason with you, I'm just going to KILL YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!!!!" As I said those final words, my mane burst into flames and lightning hit the ground around me.  
"What is going on?!?!" He yelled.  
"I'm gonna go super-sayian pony on your bitch ass!!!!"  
With that I shot a bolt of magic at him so powerful; that when he tried to dodge it and hit his arm, there was nothing but a stump.  
"AAAAARRRRGGGG!!!!"  
"Tia, Luna, Crystal," I said, "I need you to give me as much of your power as you possibly can!!"  
"Alright," they said, and transferred as much of their power as they could.  
"Urg," I mumbled. It was so much power, I could barely control it.  
I started to rise off the ground, charging up such a powerful spell that shook Equestria to its very core. This spell was meant to banish Discord to hell forever while taking all of his power so he had absolutely no chance of escaping.  
"NOOOOOOOOOOO," he yelled as the spell hit him.  
As soon as the spell ended, I fell to the ground, unconscious.  
"What Happened?"  
I woke up on a very uncomfortable bed. I opened my eyes and looked around the room. Tia, Luna, and Crystal were sleeping on my chest while Giovanni was looking at something in his hands.  
I stroked my fingers through their manes until they woke up.  
As soon as they saw me awake, I immediately wish I hadn't woke them, because they were hugging the life out of me.  
"Guys…can't…breath," I managed to choke out.  
They released their death grip and I just sat there, gasping for breath.  
"It's good to see you finally awake," Tia said, "you've been out for 2 weeks."  
My jaw dropped.  
"We need to get back to earth NOW," I said.  
"Why," Giovanni asked.  
"Because on earth we've been gone for 14 YEARS!!!!"  
"Holy shit," he said.  
Tia got my things (which were still in the castle) and teleported us home.  
I was still in my alicorn form for some reason, so we ended up I front of everyone and everypony siting in the living room of our house.  
"Where have you been and who the fuck is that," Baalasir said.  
I was standing, so I changed back into my human form.  
"It's me Baalasir," I said.  
"How can you turn into an alicorn at will," Twilight asked.  
"I don't know, but that's not important," I said, "What IS important is that we stop the demons from destroying the world, again."  
As soon as I said this, a huge explosion sounded from outside and we ran out to see who we never should have saw again.  
"It's good to be back."
Discord's Return

Listen Varis, you are going to die here after you kill Discord, but I will make sure that you come back.  
"Who said that," I said, looking around.  
Someone you will meet very soon.  
Suddenly, the presence vanished.  
I shrugged it off and turned into my alicorn form.  
"I banished you once Discord, and I'll do it again."  
"Good luck with that," he said.  
I ran at him, and suddenly changed back into my human form with my scythes drawn. I swung at him and left a gash on his chest. I put mine, Tia's, Luna's, and Crystal's magic into my scythes and ran at him again. This time I jumped at him and tackled him to the ground and drove both of my scythes into his chest and ripped it open. He screamed and died.  
I stood up and looked around. The overuse of magic had been to great and I fell to the ground, dead. But before I died I said, "I'm sorry Tia." And with those final words, I died.  
The Afterlife

Varis, it's good to see you  
I stood up and saw a figure standing in front of me.  
"What do you mean," I asked.  
Well, you've been here ever since you killed Discord for good. Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't come back.  
"How," I asked.  
Well, I am the author of this book, so I know want happens.  
"This guy is nuts," I thought to myself.  
I knew you were going to say that. Anyway, you've been dead for far too long now.  
"What do you mean dead," I said.  
You died killing Discord. The amount of magic you used proved to be to great for your body to handle.  
"How long have I been dead," I asked, worried.  
About 15 years.  
"FUCK ME," I yelled.  
Don't worry, I'm bringing you back to life right now.   
"Wait, will I see you again?"  
Probably not, but you will hear from me. Are you ready?  
"Yes."  
Good. Well, I'll talk to you soon Varis, so for now, bye.  
Reborn  
I suddenly woke up in an enclosed space. I felt around to see I was in what felt like a wooden box. I punched the top and broke though. I dug my way up and found that I was 6 feet underground.  
"Oh yeah, I died."  
I saw that I was in the same cemetery my mother was buried in. I turned my head to look at the tombstone that was next to mine. On it read "Here lays the body of Marline R.I.P"  
"I love you mom," I said out loud.  
I knew how to get home from there, so I turned into an alicorn, which I didn't know if I could do, and took off in the direction of home.  
I was half way there when I spotted a black griffin flying around. It was KAASTEEL!!!  
I decided to fly above him and turned back into a human. I landed on him, wrapping my arms around him. He immediately knew who it was.  
"VARIS," he yelled, "how are you alive?"  
"Does it matter, we're together again after so long."  
He cawed and I told him to be quiet because the others didn't know I was alive. I turned back into Fiery Pain (the name I decided to call myself when an alicorn) and went to my old home. I landed in the forest while Kaasteel went to his sleeping area to pretend he was sleeping. I used my magic to change my self into a completely different person.  
I nodded to Kaasteel who nodded back.  
I changed out of the forest and attack Kaasteel. He cawed as loud as he could, and I covered my ears in pain. As I expected, Tia, Luna, and Crystal ran out to help the last thing they had to remember me. They attack. I dodged Tia's scythe and yanked it out of her grip and threw it as far as I could. Luna was next to attack. She attempted to take out my legs, but I jumped up and landed behind her. I had no intention to hurt them, so I took her legs out. I turned to see Crystal running at me. I dodged her attack and put my blade to her throat.  
"I see you can still fight," I said.  
"WHO ARE YOU," Tia yelled.  
I put my weapons away and vanished.  
"WHERE DID YOU GO," she yelled looking around.  
"Behind you," I said.  
She turned to see me jump at her. She fell back and was on the ground with my blade at her throat. Luna and Crystal tried to run at me, but stopped when I pushed the blade closer to Tia's neck saying, "Come any closer and she dies."  
"WHO ARE YOU," Tia yelled again.  
"Really," I said, "you haven't figured it out yet Tia?"  
She looked at me with a confused but still really pissed off face.  
"NO I HAVEN'T, NOW TELL ME WHO YOU ARE, OR I'LL FORCE YOU TOO TELL ME."  
I chuckled and put my scythes away.  
"Stand up and I'll show you who I am," I said.  
I stood there for awhile before smiling and transforming into my original appearance.  
"Now do you recognize me?"  
They just stood there before tackling me and hugged and kissed me until I couldn't breath anymore. They finally got off of me and I stood up only to have three hooves hit me in the face.  
"Oww,…The fuck was that for," I said, rubbing my face.   
"That was for attacking us," Tia said, before kissing me on the lips. It had been so long since I felt her amazing lips against mine.  
"And that was for coming back to us," she said.  
Luna and Crystal walked up and hugged me, a lot more gentle, and kissed me on the lips too.  
"D'awwwww, I love you girls," I said, stroking their manes.  
"We love you too," they said.  
"Where are the others," I asked.  
"We don't know. After you died, they left and went their separate ways."  
"We have too find them," I said. They nodded in agreement.  
Fighting the Team  
Tia telekinetically told me that everyone was at the house so I teleported to them and they walked to the house. Once we got there Tia, Luna, and Crystal went inside to get them while I changed my appearance. When everyone was outside, I ran out of hiding and pretended to take the princesses down. They yelled. I turned and saw that Twilight's hair was on fire. "Ohh SHIT," I thought to myself as I was now under the on-slot of bolts of very powerful magic. Tia opened one eye and I saw she was worried that Twilight might take it too far. I shook my head. I dove behind cover and when there was a pause in the firing I stood up and cast a spell that didn't allow Twilight to use magic at all. "One down, 1, 2, 3,… 9 left…I'm fucked." Next Baalasir ran up and attacked me. I dodged his attack and knocked his sword out of his hands and cast a paralyze spell on him. Then Rainbow fired at me with 3 rockets at me. I rose my hand Yugioh style and cast a shield around me. When the dust cleared I was still standing there. I jumped at Rainbow and tackled her to the ground. She was knocked unconscious. Then Fluttershy and Applejack attacked. I dodged Shy's attack and went too attack her, but she had already fainted. So I turned too see Applejack try and shoot me. I threw my shield up and ran at her and took her down. Rarity and Pinkie attacked next. I immediately took Rarity down by just throwing dirt at her. But Pinkie attacked me, so I rolled behind her and knocked her out. Finally, it was me against Tyleia, Osric, and Giovanni. Osric, being the warrior he is, attacked. I dodged him and took him down by knocking his sword out of his hand and paralyzing him.  
"WHO ARE YOU," Tyleia yelled.  
I chuckled and vanished.  
"WHERE DID YOU GO," she yelled.  
"Right here," I said and knocked her out.  
"WHO ARE YOU," Giovanni yelled.  
I ran at Giovanni and tackled him to the ground. Then I got up and changed back to myself. Pinkie somehow was the first to notice it was me and tackled me to the ground.  
"Ican'tbelieveyou'realiveihavetothrowyoua'welcomebackfromethedead'par-" I cut her short by covering her mouth with my hands.  
"Pinkie, shut it."  
After everyone calmed down, we went inside and I had them explain everything.  
"You realize that I attacked you not only to surprise you, but because I was pissed that you would even think about separating," I said.  
"We had to because we had no one to lead us," Twilight said.  
"That is no excuse," I said, getting angry, "You should have never separated."  
After I was done scolding them, we went to bed. Tia, Luna, and Crystal slept with me.  
I was stroking their manes when it happened.  
Somehow Nightmare had formed a physical body, and had teleported right into the bedroom.  
Pony #4  
"NIGHTMARE," Luna and Tia said.  
"Tia," I said, "calm down, she just wants to talk."  
"How did you know," Nightmare asked.  
I told him.  
"Who said that," Nightmare asked.  
"You don't want to know."  
"Well, you are right, I do want to talk to you, alone."  
Tia, Luna, and Crystal looked at me with worried expressions.  
"It's alright," I said, "We won't be gone long."  
I changed into Fire and teleported me and Nightmare into the forest.  
"How did you do that," she asked.  
"What do you mean?"  
"You're an alicorn, but how?"  
"Well," I said, "It turns out that my mother was an alicorn before she was turned human for doing something horrible."  
"What did she do," Nightmare asked.  
"I don't know."  
We just sat there for a few moments, until I asked, "What did you want to talk about, Nightmare?"  
"Please, call me Blue Night."  
"Okay Blue, what did you want to talk about?" For some reason I knew what was coming.  
"I…need your help."  
This caught me completely off guard, "With what?"  
"Well, I…need to be shown true love before I can be turned completely good," she said.  
"What do you mean 'true love'," I asked.  
"I need a true lover to be set free from this curse."  
"OK," I said, "What do you want me to do?"  
"I need you to set me free."  
"Soo," I said, "You need me too love you, right?"  
"Yes," she said, sadly.  
Suddenly, I walked over and put my hooves around her neck and hugged her tightly.  
"I can never let a friend cry, feel sad, feel left out, anything like that would probably kill me."  
She started to change, just like Crystalis did, and she became a beautiful alicorn with a dark blue coat and an beautifully purple shaded mane. She looked a lot like Luna's filly appearance with a darker coat.  
"You look so beautiful," I said.  
"Thank you, you have shown me true love."  
"I'm always there for a friend," I said, "Come on, lets head back to the house unless you want too look at the beautiful night sky?"  
"I would like to watch the night sky," she said.  
"Okay, I'll be back in a minute." I teleported back into the room, and grabbed some sleeping bags and binoculars.  
"What are you doing," Tia asked.  
"I'm going to stay with Blue Night tonight," I said blankly.  
"Who is that?"  
"It's Nightmare's true form."  
"What," they yelled.  
"Look; I don't have time to explain, so I'll tell you in the morning." And with that I teleported back to Blue.  
"You didn't need to stay with me," she said.  
"Yes I did, because I'm not going to let you feel left out."  
I pulled out the two sleeping bags and rolled them out with my magic (I think I might just stay as Fire unless I'm stroking my marefriends' manes, or if I'm fighting with my scythes).  
I changed into a human and got into mine and Blue got into hers. Then we just laid there watching the night sky. Suddenly, I felt a warmth rest on my chest. I looked down and saw Blue's head resting there. I stroke her mane just like I do to the others.  
"I love you Varis," she said.  
"I love you too," I replied.  
She nuzzled my cheek with hers and fell fast asleep with her head on my chest. I fell asleep a few minutes later.  
I woke to the sound of leaves rustling. I looked down to see that Blue was still fast asleep, so it wasn't her making the noise. So what was it? I got up somehow without waking Blue and drew my scythes. I stood there, waiting for something to happened, when it did.  
Kail walked out of the bush and looked at me with a worried look on his face.  
Fleshripper  
"Holy shit, what's wrong Kail," I asked, worried at what could possibly scare him.  
"It's Leo, he's turned evil."  
I knew who Leo was and it was not good if he's turned evil. I woke Blue and we ran as fast as we could to the house.  
"There you are, whe- Kail what are you doing here," Tyleia asked.  
"It's Leo, he's been corrupted."  
Tyleia started crying.  
"Tyleia, who is Leo," Tia asked.  
Tyleia told the tale of Leo Fleshripper.  
"So yeah, he was one of the best fighters I ever seen," Kail said.  
We went outside and I got on Kaasteel while Baalasir got on Varis.  
"I will lead you to where he is," Kail said, "but you cannot fight him, he is too strong, so I need you too keep the other enemies occupied."  
We followed Kail to where Fleshripper was, and were horrified by what we saw.  
The Death  
We saw Fleshripper with a very deadly looking axe in his hands. Kail ran up and attacked Fleshripper while the rest of us attacked the demons. We had managed to kill all the demons and saw that Kail was having a hard time with Fleshripper. Suddenly, Giovanni ran up to Fleshripper.  
"Giovanni, NOOOOOOOO," Tia said.  
"It's alright," was all he said before he dove at Fleshripper and Kail stabbed Fleshripper in the chest, going right through Giovanni.  
"Why," Tia said, crying, "why did you have too do that?"  
I walked over to Tia and hugged her tightly.  
"He's always been like that Tia," I said.  
She nodded her head, understanding.  
"We have too get home," Luna said.  
"Yes," I said, "lets go home."  
We went home and went right to bed, as we were tired from the fighting. Tia, Luna, Crystal, and now Blue, rested their heads on my chest (somehow).  
"I love you guys," I said, stroking their manes one at a time.  
"We love you too," they said.  
Goodbye  
Tia, Luna, Crystal, Blue, and I were walking through the forest.  
"Hey girls," I said.  
"Yes."  
"Would you like a vacation to Equestria," I asked.  
"Why, we would love too," Tia said.  
"Alright, I'll go get packed and tell the others we will be gone for a while."  
I was Fire, so I teleported to our house and grabbed some cloths, and told everyone we would be gone for a while. Once I got everything, I teleported back to Tia and sent us to Equestria.  
"It's beautiful," Blue and Crystal said, "I can't believe that I tried to destroy this place."  
We walked to the castle and just walked around and talked to each other. Suddenly, the wall next to us exploded and griffins filled the castle. We drew our weapons and charged. We managed to hold them off until the guards showed up.  
"Shining, help," Tia said.  
Shining ran over and killed the griffin on top of Tia.  
"Thank you," she said.  
Suddenly, a giant griffin appeared and tackled me to the ground.  
"Get the fuck OFF OF ME!!!" I yelled at him.  
I pushed him off and stabbed at him. He dodged but the blade hit his foot. He screamed and swung at me. I ducked and cut his leg off. I ran up his leg and stabbed him in the throat, but as he died, I felt a sword go through my back.  
I looked down to see that the griffin had managed to pull out a sword and stab me.  
I fell to the ground. Tia and the others ran to try and help me, but it was too late.   
I turned to look at Tia and said, "I'm sorry." And with that I died.
