Legacy takes place just after the fall of the Crystal Empire, hundreds of years before the exploits of the mane six. With the Equestrian nation only just recovering from its battle with the Crystal Empire, the militia is spread thin throughout the land. Equestria has been riven by inner-turmoils: Luna and Celestia are split as they attempt to re-unite a crumbling nation, and the nobility begins to turn on itself for wealth and self-advancement. Bandits and muraders prey on unwary travelers, and even whispers of necromancy and black sorcery can be heard in hushed tones as ponies tell tales of the dead rising from their graves, and a shadowy warlord rising up from the South to threaten Equestria.
The story follows the adventures of Sweet Peach as he travels the dangerous countryside of a pre-tamed Equestria, attempting to save his family, friends, and, ultimately, himself from the encroaching darkness that threatens all of Equestria.

Rated Mature for sex, drugs, alcohol, violence, coarse language, and otherwise being a fairly gritty and shitty medieval world... filled with ponies of course.
