The lost prologue: a cold day in paradise.
I remember my mother. The mare who took care of me during my young life. I remember her frail body, and her gentle composure. Her fur and hair as white as paper, her eyes, amythist blue. She always spoke so softly, almost to where I can't hear her. Her hooves were delicate, but sharp with discrete muscle tone. Her laugh like the gentle breeze. Her cutie mark, a symbol of a bridgeless A with water waves flowing through it.But I believe the most noticeable thing I remember of her is her smile. She always gave me that beautiful smile. The kind of smile that showed all her teeth, her pearly white,.....razor sharp teeth.
I remember the forest we lived in. Secluded, and alone. It was only us and endless wilderness all around. I remember exploring that forest all the time. The things I discoverd, and the adventures I had with my best friend, a field mouse I named Ben. The things I learned from that forest and my mother. I also remember eating meat even though I hated the taste, but my mother told me that when I get older I'll learn to enjoy the taste of charred animal flesh. She also told me I needed protein to become big and strong. Of course at the mentioning of that, I greedily ate my steak.
I remember the winter. Always so cold. The wind powerful enough to topple grand birch trees, and shake the earth, but our cabin kept us safe. I remember my mother chopping wood outside as I heated up the stove. I also remember her pausing from her activity, and freezing stiff as she looked of into the distance.
I remember her running inside the cabin with a horrid expression upon her face as if she saw a ghost.
Then I remember running through the forest. The blizard has become much more severe. I couldn't see, or hear, but my mother's touch guided me to safety. I grew tired, and faint, I could no longer run. She pleaded me to keep going, calling my name over and over to keep me awake. I asked her how much farther we must run, but she suddenly stopped.
I remember something blocking our path. Some one.
I could feel my mother tense up as her fur stood on end. She growled a low growl, bearing her fangs. I looked at what it was she was bieng so worked up over for I've never seen my mother like this. That was when my fur tensed up.
A shadowy figure emerged from the endless whiteout. His hooves steps making loud, audible crunches in the snow. I couldn't believe my eyes, was it another pony? It was, and not just any pony, an alicorn. My mother taught me about alicorns, but I don't remember them looking so scary. His face was concealed by a mask and respirator. His body covered in a thick black cloak. He spoke to us in a distorted voice. A wretched sound that could be the equivilant of two pieces of sheet metal scraping together.
He told my mother that "I've finally found you", and my mother telling me to run back and never look back. She didn't come with me.
I followed my mothers wishes and ran. The wind wasn't enough to drown out the sounds of magic discharge, and splitting wood. I worried for my mother for she couldn't use magic since she was an earth pony. Though my doubt got the best of me as I heard a blood curdling scream.
I remember following that scream, the snow was stained with blood. I remember seeing my mother, bleeding, and near death on the ground. She looked up at me, her pained expression hid behind her bloody smile. A trail of blood trickling from her eye down her left cheek. her thin glasses cracked and shattered. Tears filled my eyes as I saw her, I couldn't bare to witness the only one I hold dearest to be hurt like this.
I remember when she caressed my cheek and told me everything will be fine. She handed me a book from her tattered saddle bag. Her blood pooled around her and stained my hooves.
She told me....
"Never forget who you are."
Her eyes closed, and her body lay still.
I wailed and begged my mother to come back as I shook her lifeless body. To no avail, my mother was gone.
Laughter, laughter all around me. Shadows creeped and danced all around as the black alicorn emerged from the snow. His hooves and cloak stained with blood, my mother's blood.
I never felt so angry in my life. I charged at him with all my might, but he flicked me away like he was swatting a fly.
"You're not ready." He said as he turned and left, leaving me, and my beloved mother.
I remember bieng on the verge of freezing to death, how cold I felt as I clutched the book to my chest. My mother's blood has dried on my hooves, the rusty scent of it became more pungent to where it was almost unbearable. I rocked back and forth, cradling the book in my hooves as I awaited cold, slow death. But death escaped me.
Two unicorns came to me. A shinning light behind them. Their faces obscured from the light, but I could tell they were both female.
"Who are you little one?" They asked among other questions. They nodded to each other.
"I've always wanted a daughter." One said.
"No." Objected the other. "I believe it's a colt."
"What's your name little one?"
I told them my name, and they shielded me from the cold.
They took me aboard a ship, full of fancy buttons and lights. One unicorn sat in a chair and prepared for take off as the other wrapped me in layers of thick blankets. She smiled at me. A warm gentle smile. Her teeth were flat and rounded. I smiled back, and she nearly fainted. Luckily, she didn't, and only hugged, excepting me as her own no matter what.
I remember blasting off, leaving the planet I didn't even know the name to behind. I remember the night mares I soon had afterwards, my mother's death on replay over and over in my mind.
I remember the unicorns concerned expressions, but then their contemptuous smiles as they touched their glowing horns upon my head.
Now I don't remember. I don't remember my mother, I don't remember the book, and don't remember why I needed to eat meat.
I could only remember my name.
Sparkus Klienfielter Von Albietor.
The Nightmare Returns! Part one
My name is Sparky. Or to say, that is my short name since my full name is very long and hard to pronounce. Ever since I was a little colt I have lived with my two mothers. Hither, and Thither. They come from a very prestigious and rich family of unicorns, and have adopted me into their large estate in Zanfra Galaxy on Planet Nebraji. The estate is also shared with the extended family, including but certainly not limited to:
cousin Jessica, cousin Myra, cousin Torchlight, sister Anabelle, sister Sonia, Auntie Red Velvet, Grandma Juno, and many more that would take much to long to list.
So I share the three story estate with approximately eighteen unicorns, all mares, all younger or older then me. Iwas the only colt, even from the maid staff, chef, and even the butler.
My adoptive mother, Hither, always said I was her favorite, which was true, she loved me like her own son. My other adoptive mother, Thither, same thing. My sisters, all older then me, loved me in more ways then one.
It was a little hard to accept the fact I was adopted, but how much love they have showed me regardless of blood bonds, it has made me feel welcome, and a part of the family.
My mothers have tried to get me in an arranged marriage with one of my cousins that actually had a bit of an interest in me, luckily I weaseled out of that one. Unfortunately, it's family tradition, and this may come up again when I'm older...
After high school, I felt that I should start a career. I didn't want to live off the family fortune, I was the stallion of the house for Pete sake! I needed to take some responsibility! A stallions gotta do what a stallions gotta do!
So I told my mothers I wanted to be a police officer.
We were alone in the kitchen then. I was nineteen years old, just a few weeks past my birthday. I've grown into a fine young stallion, at least all my cousins, sisters, and mothers say. Chef Rosemary served Cesar salad for my mothers and I. She gave me a wink, and and a sultry smile as she put down my plate in front of me, telling me she "added something special" just for me. I smile and try my best not to provoke her in. As my mothers dined, I looked at them and tapped my glass with my spoon to get there attention.
"Moms, I'm going to the police academy, I'm going to join the intergalactic police department."
My sensitive mother, and the most feminine, nearly choked on her salad, while my other mother, Thither, gave me a round of applause. Hither of course told me it was dangerous, and risky, wile Thither told me it will be adventurous, and exciting. They began to argue what was best for their beloved only son. But after about an hour of talk, a few tears shed, and lots of hugs and kisses, and not to mention the entire freaking house listening in, it was decided, I'm going to be a cop.
It was a whole two days of goodbyes, tears, and more huge and kisses that followed to the day I would depart to the academy ship in orbit of the planet. Hither kept asking me if I packed spare underwear, I told her yes, I never forget my camouflaged underwear. Thither reminded me to use a condom, I told her that topic was very far from my mind.
"Don't be so sure." She said gesturing to the calendar. It was it was Zorg of Belithumo, or September the fifth, only three months to the next traditional family reunion, a reunion that I will have to miss.
With all things aside, this was pretty bold. I would be one of the few ponies, or even a species of equine heritage, to join the space police. I'll be traversing the stars with fellow officer who may look down on me because of my short size, and femenine appearance (hey! When you live in a house full of girls for most of your child hood it can kinda alter your perception on male and female roles! I'm straight by the way!). But regardless I'll be doing a great duty for the multiverse. To serve and protect in all the reaches of space. A galactic guardian, a hero to all aliens, big or small. I am Sparky, the earth pony that will claim his spot in the greatest law enforcement agency in the universe.
Three years later.
Beigemender, Intergalactic Space Police head quarters ship in orbit.
"I am proud to present to you our outstanding officers that have pushed beyond the call of duty."
It was a ceremony. Aboard the massive ship, all senior officers came in dress uniform in celebration of the new officers that will soon be promoted to field officer, and be given a planet to patrol. It was quite possibly the best day of Sparky's life. He sat in the front row wearing his blue dress uniform shirt specially designed to fit his small pony body. He adjusted his starchy collar and let out a ragged breath. He was very nervous, he's never been on stage before.
"Our first officer, one of our top snipers in the academy, miss Zarla Whilts!" General Kyo, a griffon, was announcing the promoted officers to the stage. Zarla stepped up on to the stage. Her tentacle like feet slithered up the steps as she climbed up. She stood facing the audience in attention.
Sparky was starting to shake. Maybe they'll call on him next? He parted his long hair from his face. He always told himself to cut his hair, it has grown for a long time, and when sitting up, it touches his just as long tail. But for some reason, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He loved his long hair. It was do silky, and smooth. He loved the feeling of brushing his long flowing blue locks, it was one of his secret pleasures.
"Our next officer, top in class of weapons specialists, with an arrest record of twenty baddies a week, ladies, gentlemen, and other life forms, Conrad Assisi!" A tall humanoid alien stepped up to the stage. His slender, stick like legs bended effortlessly as he stood over next to Zarla. His uniform long as a flag pole, but thin as a ring finger, with a few medals already on his chest the size of a backpack.
Normally a guy wouldn't worry to much about appearance, but Sparky was on the verge of passing out. There were over two hundred people in the event room, all cops, all alien creatures ranging from cat women, to horned flame beasts. The only one not police officers where both his mothers who were sitting on either side of him, telling him how proud of him they are.
"And our third officer, from the planet bunggooooool. A top of the line officer if I ever did see one, Baki Nsmodo! Come on up!"
A massive mound of pink flesh slugged itself up to the stage. It only had on a hat with the badge on the front, not much else could be said. Sparky felt a little over whelmed. He has made countless arrests, and has field experience On two alien planets. Why does he feel so anxious? Was public appearance that frightening?
Answer: yes.
" I'm so proud of you!" Hither wailed, giving Sparky another hug. She used her unicorn magic, and wiped her tears away with a levitating handkerchief. "My little Sparky is getting promoted."
"Look how big you've gotten!" Thither said, squeezing Sparky's face with her hooves and turning his face toward hers. "Look Who's a biggie wiggie adult now." She gave him baby talk a she smushed his face and puckered her lips.
"Mom!" Sparky pulled her hooves off. His ivory white fur couldn't hide his blush. "You're embarrassing me!" Thither just gave him a noggie, tussling his silky hair.
"Doesn't matter how old you are, you'll always be our little sparky." Thither patted him on the head. Hither nodded in agreement, still wiping her tears of joy.
"And next up, our final officer.."
"Oh crap...." Sparky mumbled, standing up for the anticipated moment.
"One of our top technicians on the force, a brilliant mind, with strength to boot, Sparky!"
The crowd applauded, along with the loud cheers and whistles from his mothers.
Sparky's hooves made a clip clop as he stepped up on stage, standing in attention next to his fellow officers.
A woman with dark green skin, wearing a commissioners uniform stepped onto the stage holding a box.
"Zarla Wilts." General Kyo walked up to the tentecularous woman and presented to her a silver badge from the box. "You are now promoted to sniper, second class." She attached the badge to the breast of her uniform vest. The crowd applauded, and even cheered. "And your designated planet." A large screen on the back wall of the stage showed a picture of a floral green planet. "Judvox nine."
Zarla smiled and saluted the general who saluted her back.
"Conrad Assisi." General Kyo stepped over to the tall slender alien. "You have been promoted to head specialist of the weapons research and development branch." The general couldn't reach Conrad's chest, so he just put the badge in his large clammy hand. He pinned it on, and saluted with out a word.
"Baki Nsmodo." The mound of flesh said nothing as the general took off its hat, and put a new one on with a new badge. "You have been promoted to dispatcher." The general saluted Baki, who in return made a loud farting noise, which was a sign of respect on his planet.
"And finally Sparky." The general kneeled down a little to meet Sparky at eye level. "You have promoted to field technician, first class." He pinned the badge onto the breast of Sparky's uniform, a specially designed badge. A badge made just for him, with his name and rank engraved on it.
"And your planet...." There was a brief second of silence as images of stars and galaxy's flashed on the screen. Sparky could hear a drum roll in his head. What's it gonna be? What's it gonna be?
"Equestria." The screen finally stop onto an image of a green and blue planet in a far of galaxy. Sparky could barley contain his excitement, but his mother Hither fainted into the arms of her wife at the mentioning of the planet.
Paws, claws, tentacles, hands, wiggly sausage things, all came together in applause for the new senior officers. All where contempt and pleased with the results, except for Hither, and Thither, who showed expressions of great concern.
"I don't care if it's your job! You're not going to Equestria!" Hither was completely distraught with worry as she argued for her son not to go. Sparky was packing his things in his room as his mother paced back and forth telling him that he shouldn't go.
"Why would they even send you to such a mud ball of a planet!?"
"Mud ball?" Sparky said in a reassuring voice. "This is our home planet your talking about. I mean I never even knew we had a home planet until now. Why didn't you tell me about it?"
"It's a disgraceful planet! They don't have an established government, they barely use electricity, and they don't even know what the Internet is! You'll be bored to tears!"
"Mom...." Sparky paused from folding his clothes into his suitcase, and turned to look at his mother. She looked so frazzled and worked up. She was always making a big deal of things, unlike her wife Thither. "I believe there is more to it that your not telling me mom. What is it about this planet that you don't want me to go there?"
Thither was stunned, and speechless. The dreaded topic was finally brought up. She prayed and hoped that this day wouldn't come. The day they explained where he came from.
"Let's go sit in the den....we need to talk."
"You've grown into a fine stallion my son." Hither took a sip of her tea, levitating the fine china cup to her lips with her magic. "I really never wanted to tell you this." Thither sat by her, patting her on the back as Sparky sat on the couch facing them.
"I know I'm adopted mom...I've become aware of that, and I accept it." Sparky said.
"That's not it Sparky." Thither continued. "We found you on Equestria when you were just a little colt." Hither was near tears as Thither tried to sooth her." We have no idea what happened to your real parents, all we know is that you were abandoned in the cold, possibly left to die."
Sparky listened intently. This was completely new to him. Of course he often wondered where he came from, but never has he been given a full explanation.
"You hooves were stained with blood, and kept whimpering "mommy". You cradled a large book in your hands when we found you."
"A book?" Sparky's ears perked up. A clue to his true family?
"I know what your thinking, but I'm sorry..." Thither bowed her head. She reached under the table, and pulled out a large, old book. She placed it on the table.
Sparky stared at the book, eyes wide. The book was so familiar, it was almost as if he had this book in his possession his whole life, but he couldn't remember it. He took it in his hooves and looked at the worn cover. A symbol of a bridgless A with perpendicular lines facing from the sides. That symbol...his cutie mark. He leaned his head over to look at his flank to see the same symbol, only it had four yellow diamonds around it. He opened the cover. The front page was blank. He flipped to the next few pages, blank. He flipped through the whole book, all blank. No answers, no clues.
Hither sniffled as she recollected her self. Her eyes were a little red, and her eyeshadow was running.
"Equestria is not as safe as you think Sparky." She said, her voice cracking. "When we found you, we felt that there were those trying to kill you, my beautiful son."
"Equestria isn't exactly our most favorite planet, even if it is our home." Thither said. "Most of our main family is here."
Sparky was stunned by this sudden realization of his heritage. Who were his parents?
"Your teeth were so sharp.." Hither sighed. "We thought it may have been some kind of genetic mutation, I hope we were right." Sparky remembers his trip to the orthodontist when he was just a little colt. It was a very painful process as they ground his teeth down to flat molars. He brushed his to tongue along his teeth in shivering memory.
"Regardless, if you feel you must go, then you should go. Your not a foal anymore Sparky. Your a stallion, able to make his own decisions." Both Hither and Thither sat up and sat on either side of him, giving him a collaborative hug. Sparky smiled and hugged them back. He loved his mothers very dearly. They may not have birthed him, but they have been more of a loving parent then anyone else. He was going to miss them.
But it is his duty as an officer of intergalactic law. Luckily he will be able to call, write, and visit every once and a while. Not only was it his job, with this new knowledge, Sparky was now determined to find out who his real parents are. Who his family is, and where he comes from. It is a personal quest that he must depart on not only for the force, but for himself.
"I wouldn't say Equestria was a dangerous planet, but it helps to be prepared." At the great hanger of the police mother ship, Sparky was loading his luggage onto the luggage bay of the transport vessel. Lieutenant mike, a human analyst, and one of Sparky's few friends walked along side of him.
"I've heard you never been to Equestria?" Mike asked, rolling up his shirt sleeves.
"No, as a matter of fact, I have not." Sparky wasn't in uniform today, he was currently off duty . He decided to go nude today, which wasn't weird for his species. As long as he wore his camouflaged underwear that hides his junk, it's okay.
"I got orders from higher ups to assign you a partner for your trip." Mike brushed a hand through his wavy blond hair.
"A partner?" Sparky was a little caught off guard by that. He wasn't going alone?
"Yep." Mike walked over to a large sliding metal door into a long metallic hallway.
"To help you get around, and answer any question you may have, we'll have someone go with you."
Sparky and Mike walked over to the science bridge of the ship. Scientists of all walks of life scurried about, pressing buttons, typing on computers, and pouring chemicals at a very fast pace. One researcher in a white lab coat walked up to Mike and Sparky.
"You must be Sparky, congratulations on your promotion." The researcher was a humanoid form, almost as tall as mike. His head though was abnormally large and bald. His skin was gray, and he had humongous, glassy black eyes.
"Thank you." Sparky responded since he was never weirded out by strange looking creatures.
"Your partner is just this way." The researcher showed the way to another room full of capsule. Only a few lab coated people were in here. Sparky looked about the pods as he trailed behind. Some pods were frozen, covering the glass with white frost to where Sparky couldn't see inside. Some had grotesque creatures in them of charred flesh, and malformed bone. Others had humans in them while some had nothing at all.
The Researcher stopped in front of a row of four pods.
"These are the equine PS android models." He presented the pods to Sparky.
"This first one is the original prototype PS1." He showed a hand to the first pod. Inside was a sleeping mare. She had a silver metallic body, with red and green neon designs on her thighs that posed as cutie marks. On her chest was a small red light that glowed dully.
"She is the original and first model when the series was launched. She is the overall strongest of the four, but her AI is limited, and obsolete."
He stepped over to the next pod.
"PS2 is our most versatile model. She is quick, and very durable, with an AI system directly linked to the Galactic super computer." Sparky pressed his muzzle to the glass. The mare inside was fast asleep. She looked much more life like then the other model. Her jet black fur was smooth, and well groomed. Her short, wavy hair was pale gray, with red and green highlights. She looked utterly gorgeous in her sleep, her broad chest rising and falling to her small breaths with her soft lips apart.
"This model was made as a Pegasus, a step up from the previous earth pony model. Her wing allow her flight speeds of up to Mach four when at primed condition." Wow. That beautiful little Pegasus mare can fly that fast? Sparky could only bask in the beauty of such a wonderful creation of science.
"And finally, we have PS3. Our next generation model. Made with the finest material in the galaxy. Her AI system is one of the most advanced we have ever created. Her intelligence makes her an unmatched strategist and spellcaster."
Sparky looked inside the pod to see another mare, this time, a unicorn. With fur also jet black, but with gray stripes on her rear and fore hooves. Her hair was much longer then her younger sister's. it was dark blue with gray highlights. She was also taller, and seemingly thinner.
Sparky looked over to the fourth pod to see the glass obscured by dense fog like a bathroom mirror. He peered inside, squinting his eyes, he could barley make out wings and a horn.
"What's this?" He asked pointing at the pod.
The researcher side stepped in the way of Sparky's view. "This is PS4, currently under development, and top secret."
"Why?" Sparky asked, now curious.
"You see...there is rival robotics foundation that has in the past stolen some of our PS model plans and created the X- Bot. Cookie cutter androids that come out in droves. They are unoriginal, and low quality, but unfortunately they have developed an X-Bot model that could even match ours. X-Bot vertigo. Even after that, they plan on making the ultimate android they call X-Bot one.
The researcher closed his fingers and gave a thumbs down motion. "We believe it's going to flop, but we built PS4 just in case."
"What does PS stand for?" Mike asked, peering into the pods.
"Paramilitary Simbiroid, or P-Sai for short." The researcher walked over to PS2's pod and pressed a few buttons on the keyboard.
"You'll need model two or higher for your stay, but PS3 is currently is stasis for a system purge, so you will be taking PS2."
Sparky stood before the large tube as it hissed to life. The thick glass lifted up, and the sleeping Pegasus mare flutters her eyes open. She let out and yawn and extended her wings as she stretched her sleek, and slender body. She looked like a mare that just awoke from a long nap rather then a machine starting up from sleep mode.
"Good morning everyone." She said in a cute robotic voice, rubbing her glowing red and blue eyes with her hooves.
She stepped out of the pod onto the metal floor, and stood in attention like a solider ready for war.
"PS2 reporting for duty." She saluted the three lifeforms that has awoken her from her slumber.
"PS2....meet your new partner, Sparky." Sparky smiled and waved nervously. PS2 was a very beautiful mare, even if she was an android.
"Hello!" She chirped. "Would you like a hug?"
"Uh...huh?" Before Sparky could answer, PS2 wrapped her slender fore hooves around his neck and gave him a tight squeeze. Sparky has never been hugged by another mare that wasn't his sister. For a machine she was so soft, and warm. Her fur was like being wrapped in a downy blanket.
"I think she likes you." Mike said with a raised brow. He was really close to singing Sparky's got a girlfriend.
"You don't mind if I call you Sai do you?" Sparky asked as PS2 nuzzled his cheek.
"You can call me anything you want master." She sighed, letting him go and giving him a half lidded stare.
"Okay! Sai it is!" Sparky grew red in the face, and mike could barely hold his giggles.
"You packed your spare underwear right?"
"For the fifth time...yes mom...I packed spare underwear."
It was the hour of departure, and the whole house was here to see Sparky leave.
"Don't forget to write! And what ever you do...don't talk to strangers!" Cousin Maybelle called from behind the small crowd of unicorn mares.
"And if all else fails....tell her she's pretty...mares love that." Thither nudged Sparky's shoulder and gave him a wink.
"I told you mom...I don't have time for that.."
"Oh really?" She gestured toward Sai who was standing by the boarding hatch of the space shuttle, waving to Sparky. He had half a mind to tell her she was a machine, but couldn't seem to bring himself to say it.
"I'm going to miss you so much!" Hither wailed, hugging Sparky and kissing his face.
"Mom...it's okay, I'll call you when I get there." Hither sobbed into his shoulder for a few seconds then lifted up and wiping her tears away. "Okay..." She whispered. "But you have something on your face." She licked her hoof and rubbed Sparky's cheek.
"Time to go bud..." Mike kneeled down and tapped Sparky on the shoulder to tell him it was time for lift off. More hugs and kisses followed, as well as a unexpected kiss on the lips by cousin Anabelle (Sparky hated when she did that) and sparky was aboard the ship, waving goodbye. All the mares stepped back from the small ship as its engine thrusters burst to life. The loud hum of jet engines filled the hanger, as the ejected air blew all around, knocking equipment over, and blowing paper every where. The ship lifted off from the launch pad, and with a loud boom it blasted off into the gaping maw of infinite space.
"Goodbye..." Hither sighed, on the brink of crying some more.
"C'mon honey...lets go home, I'm sure he'll call once we get there." Thither led her wife over to the exit door, followed by the rest of the family.
"Of course you won't be going alone." Sai said as Sparky and her sat in the passenger section.
"You'll meet a team of highly skilled equine officers in your assigned providence."
Sai handed Sparky a tablet that had several pictures of other ponies on it.
"A specific branch of the intergalactic police in Equestria is known as the S.U..P.P, the secret universal pony police."
"Why is it secret?" Sparky asked looking through the files.
"Equestria is a planet currently under strict extraterrestrial immigration laws to protect its society. The planet's inhabitants are completely oblivious to life outside their own world. The SUPP act in secret to avoid panic. Ponies here have very gentle minds..."
"And their form of government?"
"Monarchy. Their land is ruled by two princess. Mighty Alicorns, that are believed to raise the sun and moon."
Sparky couldn't help but let out a laugh at such a ridiculous idea. Though, the word Alicorn rang a few bells in Sparky's head.
"You'll work with a team of other officers. Their files are here." Sai pointed at the tablet in Sparky's hooves.
"First is team lead, Lyra heart strings." A photo of a unicorn with mint green fur and gold eyes appeared on the screen.
"Next is team analyst and social worker, Derp hooves. Her real name is Diane Horwits, but she had to take a fake name to help blend in." The next photo was of a gray Pegasus mare. Her eye were also gold, facing straight forward.
""You'll have a team civil engineer, vinyl scratch." The next photo was of a white unicorn mare with electric blue hair, wearing a pair of dark sunglasses. She looked almost like she could be Sparky's sister.
"A team weapons specialist , and martial artist, Skullric, or skull for short."
This photo was of a Pegasus stallion with dark brown fur. His shoulder length orange hair covered his eyes. Even in the information on the card, his eye color was marked "unknown".
"And finally, team forensic scientist, and medical specialist, Doctor Bloodlust."
The final photo was of a unicorn mare with snow white fur. She had an expression of lack of emotion, or quite possibly annoyance. Her deep red eyes were entrancing, almost as if she was peering into your soul with merely a glance. Her short black hair was well combed and shiny.
"You'll learn more about them as we get there." Sai finished, leaning back in her chair. "As we get to Equestria, we will drop off at the SUPP headquarters for you to meet the chairman to brief you on your duties."
Sparky was ver excited, and maybe even a little nervous. He finally gets to see his own planet...which reminds him.
"Sai....could you tell me what this is?" Sparky handed her the book that his mothers gave him when they told him of his origin.
Sai took the book and stared at it. Her red and green eyes shrinking, and enlarging like camera lens.
"It is a blank book, but of origin, I am uncertain. Maybe there will be information on it at a book archive on Equestria." She handed the book back to Sparky who just sighed in defeat.
If he was going to find out who his real family is, he's going to have to search for them.
But for now, it's time to sit back and relax, it's a long flight to Equestria.
