The Violinist and The Pen - VOL I - Under Canterlot
Willow felt warm liquid at her feet as she sat against a dark metal wall, which was lit orange by the flame that powered the machine that rested in front of her. It seeped into her fur, her skin, her very body. It felt.. strange. She coughed, sending more of it out of her mouth. She couldn't remember anything, anything at all. Her mind was blank. Except for this.. pain. This nagging pain. It came from her belly, and it nagged to her, as pains do. It didn't feel like a normal pain, though. This had something to it. It stung, as well as ached. It was... strange. It felt weird. Just plain weird. It wasn't natural. Willow began to feel faint, her vision beginning to blur in the one good eye that was blanketed in a red film. She didn't feel right, not at all. She didn't feel safe. She wanted to go home, but she didn't know if that was possible. She could move her front and back legs, and her head, but her torso seemed to be pinned to the wall. It felt like a dream, like something that couldn't happen in real life. Her pain nagged to her more, and she nagged to her pain. She began to feel something in her throat, blocking her breathing. She coughed it up, sending a large sputter of the silky liquid out of her mouth and on to the ground.
The pain began to get worse, and Willow didn't want to see. She could barely see anyway, even if she tried to. After the vision in her working eye began to gain quality, she found herself standing in front of a cerulean Pegasus, with a mane the color of a rainbow. The Pegasus' normally smooth, warm fur was stained with more of that liquid that she'd coughed up. She felt the pain soar up her spine as her belly yelled at her. She tried to flap her wings, which were also dripping in the liquid, but had no luck. Both chained to... to a wall. Yes, a wall. That's what it was. Finally she knew something about where she was. On the wall were several logos. Willow didn't know any of them, none at all. In fact, she wasn't sure if they were logos or strange symbols. Her belly began to gain a burning sensation, which Willow found as an inconvenience. The rainbow pony looked up at her, eyes burning into the orchid pony chained to the wall. Willow began to feel panicked, as she knew that this place wasn't normal, that Rainbow shouldn't be here. Hell, Willow thought that she shouldn't be here either.
Rainbow pushed forward, snapping Willow into excruciating focus. Her belly felt like a raging fire. Her forehead stung massively. She screamed as the pain in her stomach burst, filling her body with horror, fear, and agony. Tears dripped from her eyes as Rainbow pulled out the sword and cut Willow's binds, sending her sliding her back to the floor against the wall. The liquid, which she'd now determined to be blood, seeped out of her belly. It hurt horribly, she couldn't feel anything but the pain. She cried for help, only to be interrupted by a loud scream that came out of her throat involuntarily. Her vision began to fade into an uncomfortable blur, that hurt her eyes as she tried to keep them open. The pain began to dissipate as she began to disconnect with reality itself. She seen her life flashing before her eyes. The good, and the bad.
It was.. strange.
