I never thought that I would be heading home after all these years. I trained so hard to be a Wonderbolt and now I am one. It has been four years since I have left home in pursue of my dream. Finally, I can go back to my awesome cloud house in Ponyville with my mare friend Lightning Dust. During the four years of being at the most awesome academy in all of Equestria. I met the Wonderbolt's Leader Spitfire, I fell in love with Lightning Dust, I made new friends, and I trained everyday trying to impress the other Wonderbolts, I also slept in a dorm room. Everything is just great. Now I am so excited that I am going home and show Lightning Dust my awesome cloud house. I wonder what has changed in Ponyville since I have been gone. I probably should when I get back fly above town and see what has changed. Why do I feel heavy on the inside? Did I eat something raw? Am I sick? Why do I feel like there is some thing missing from my life? I don't know what this feeling is but I don't care, I am going home. Just then the door to my bunker opened and I turned around to see Lightning Dust standing right at the entrance. "Rainbow can I come in?" She asked in a soft voice. I love it when she asks me for permission, I also love her fur color and mane color. Her fur color was a light opal and her mane color was a brilliant amber and her eyes were a brilliant gamboge. I also love her cutie mark, it had a lightning bolt striking at three stars. I nodded and happily answered, "Yeah, come in." She trotted over towards me. "Are you ready to get going Rainbow?" Lightning asked. "Yeah just give me a few minutes." I replied, calmly. Lightning stood there a couple of seconds and then she nodded. I walked past her and walked out of my bunker. I turned around and looked at the building one last time and sighed. I will miss the Wonderbolt Academy, the Food Hall Miss Spitfire our teacher, leader, and friend, and I will miss the obstacle courses the most of all. I got to show off most of my skills and awesomeness during the years and months since I've been here at the Academy. 1 hour later. After I got the rest of my stuff from my locker, said good bye to Miss Spitfire and my friends, and wish the best of luck to the others at the Academy, I returned to my bunker and I saw Lightning Dust sitting on my bed, looking at me with happiness in her eyes. "Are you ready to go now?" She asked me." I nodded, and replied "Yeah, let's go." It took a couple of minutes to grab my saddlebag and put it on my back, look at my bunker one last time, and close the door. As I was walking away from the front door, I saw Lightning Dust standing at the edge of the Academy. I galloped as fast as my hooves would carry me. I stopped before her and looked at her to see she had a huge grin on her face. "Rainbow how about we race to your home? First one there is a dead flyer." Lightning said, confidently. "What does the winner get?" I asked. "Well the loser has to do what the winner says. No matter what it is." "Like what exactly?" "Well let's just say anything can happened." "So no matter what the winner says." "That is correct." "The task can be anything the winner sets her mind to." "That's right." "Alright. I accept. Let's get into starting positions." We stood on the edge of the Academy, lowering our upper bodies so that they look like we are touching the ground, we then raised our back hooves, then we expanded our wings, and we just stood there gazing out towards the sun that was beginning to set. "Ready..." Lightning said. "Set..." I said. "GO!" We both shouted and took off. During the race, Lightning and I flew so fast that we were half way to Ponyville. We both showed off some tricks we learned at he Academy, looking at each other and grinning. For a few minutes, we were neck and neck, it looked like a tie breaker, but during the race we both began to speed it up. As soon as we sped up, I saw Cloudsdale ahead of us. I immediately was in the lead when Lightning Dust appeared next to me. Great, I was hoping to win this race, but maybe I can do something. "Hey Lightning Dust." I shouted. "What?" She asked, shouting. "Let's raise the stakes a bit." "What do you have in mind?" "Well if the winner gets something, maybe the loser should get something in return." "That sounds like an awesome idea, Rainbow. Let's do it." I can't believe that worked. Now, no matter who wins or loses this race, both competitors get something for effort. I immediately sped up again and I saw my house just ahead by a few more meters, until I get my prize. "Almost there." I said, smiling for victory. Just as I was about to touch my front door step, I was tackled out of the air by something or should I say somepony. I looked at my assailant, and I saw Lightning Dust holding me in a tight embrace. "This is so not fair. Lightning nopony will win the race and get their prize." I said, struggling to get out of the embrace. "I know Rainbow but I had a better idea." Lightning said, smiling. Just as I was about to ask we both landing on my cloud front porch. Lightning still tightly embracing me, whispered something in my ear, "Looks like it is a tie. What do we do if we get a tie in the race?" "I may have a suggestion. Why don't we head inside my house and we'll talk about the tie breaker." I said, smiling at my marefriend. "I can't wait to know what it is." Lightning Dust shrieked in excitement. I unlocked the door using my cloud house key and opened the front door, being like a gentlecolt or in this case a lady, I allowed Dust to enter first, then I followed behind her. Lightning Dust looked around the main living room of my house and said, "Wow. It's so cool and beautiful. I can't believe I'm actually going to live here with you Rainbow." As Lightning turned around to face me I trotted up towards her and smiled. She smiled back at me and then she asked, "What do we get for having a tie?" "This." I replied, as I pressed my lips gently on her light opal lips. We both kissed for a long time in the living room, soon I started to sprout my wings out and gently lifted Lightning off the ground. I carried her in my hooves bridal style, and flew slowly all the way to our bedroom. We were kissing then we opened our mouths and let our tongue's dance inside our mouths. Soon Lightning and I began moaning in pleasure, as she started to take off my uniform and as I stared to take her's off as well. As soon as we took off each other's uniform and threw them to the side of the bedroom floor. I flew gently to the bed with Lightning in my embrace, I gently put her down on the bed and I flew right on top of her. I couldn't wait for what tomorrow would bring for me. Chapter 2- ChangeThe next morning. I woke up in my cloud bed under my cloud blanket. I sat up and looked around my cloud bedroom, and I saw my marefriend sleeping away, with a smile on her face. I smiled at her for having the best night ever with her, I hope she is okay after what happened. I thought to myself, as I slowly got out of the bed, not wanting to wake up Lightning. I headed to the bathroom to take a shower. As I entered the tub, closing the shower curtain, and began to wash myself. I yawned in the shower, I let the warm water drizzle on my cyan coat, trying to wake myself up and prepare for the day. I drifted off into my own thoughts as I didn't hear or saw what happen next. A pair of hooves covered my eyes as if blinding me from seeing the assailant. A voice happily chirped in the air as it asked, "Guess who?" I smiled as I recognized the voice. So I played along and guessed, "Is it Spitfire?" "Nope. Try again." The voice replied, happily. "Is it Cloud Blossom?" I guessed again. "Nope. One more guess." The voice replied. "Is it Soarin?" I guessed one last time. "Nope. Looks like I win." The voice said, taking it's hooves off of me. I was immediately turned around and came face to face with my marefriend, Lightning Dust. She had this huge smile planted on her face, as she leaned in closer to me. I leaned in as well, but then Lightning Dust spoke up in a lustful tone, "I didn't get to make you have pleasure for the tie breaker last night. I think it's my turn to even up the score a bit." Just before I got to say anything Lightning pressed her lips against mine. So there we were in the shower, kissing each other, the water drizzling down our manes and coats. Just then I felt something pressing at my teeth, I opened my mouth and Lightning's tongue came in. Getting every single inch of my mouth, I began to moan into the kiss as I fell on my back on the hard floor of the shower. There is nothing more than I want to do but be with her for the rest of my life. But I had plans to go fly around Ponyville, and possibly take Lightning out to dinner at a great restaurant. I said,"I am going out for a fly around town and should be back soon." Lightning nodded as she nuzzled me. We both enjoyed the hot shower, and got out of it. We both began drying off with the only cloud towel that I brought in with me. Soon, we both dried off and left the bathroom, we walk down the stairs of our cloud home and went into the kitchen. I got an apple, banana, orange, some lilies, and some water to rehydrate me after the event in the shower. Lightning got the same food, apple, banana, orange, some lilies, and water, and we both ate the healthy breakfast. Soon, I put my plate in the sink, walked over towards Lightning and kissed her on the cheek, nuzzled her, she returned the nuzzle, and I walked out into the living room of our cloud home, and walked out the front door closing it gently behind me. I flew off my front porch as I took to the sky, my house became a giant white blur as I flew further away from it. As soon as I saw my house farther in the horizon, I then flew towards Ponyville. As the town came into view, I noticed that everypony was walking, the streets and looked very different in some way, that I can't quite put my hoof on it. I also noticed that the town was more bigger than usual, the buildings were the size of tall towers or skyscrapers. As I flew down and landed in the middle of the streets of Ponyville, I began to walk around. I came to a stop when I saw a orange mare with dry blonde mane and tail, working at a stall. I walked towards her, maybe I can ask her what restaurants are the best to eat at. "Excuse me miss. I have a question." I said, walking up to the orange mare. "Sure. What can Ah do for ya?" The orange mare asked me, looking at me. "Well I was wondering. What are the best restaurants around here?" I asked her, feeling embarrassed. "Well Ah don't know many fancy restaurants, but maybe I can give you a map of Ponyville." The orange mare replied, looking through her saddle bag, that I was near her. I like her accent, it reminds me of a friend I used to know but I can't remember who, and where I met the pony. So I asked, "Um do you and I know each other?" "Nope. Ah can't seem to recall seeing you round here. This is actually the first time we met." The orange mare replied, handing me a map with her hoof. "Thanks for answering my question and thanks for the map. Miss..." I started to say. "Applejack. Just call me Applejack or AJ for short." She replied, finishing my sentence. "I'm Rainbow Dash." I said, smiling. I waved good-bye to Applejack and walked away. I let her resume her business as I began reading the map she had given me. Applejack. Why does that name sound familiar? I began to think. Then it hit me like a lightning bolt, I ran back to where I seen and met Applejack but then I saw the spot she was at and no pony was there. She was gone, disappeared. I guess we really didn't know each other. I began reading the map again, looking around for a great restaurant. At Sweet Apple Acres Ah can't believe that she came back. Ah hope that lie didn't hurt her to much. Applejack ran to her farm house and told her family who came back to Ponyville. Back in Ponyville I couldn't find a restaurant written on the map that Miss Applejack gave me. I just wanted to surprise Lightning Dust tonight. Why is finding a nice restaurant so frustrating?! I thought to myself as I kept walking and looking down at the map of the town. Not paying attention to where I was walking, I bumped into somepony and we both fell to the ground. "I'm so sorry. I got caught up reading something and didn't see where I was going." I apologized, quickly getting up off the ground. "That's okay. I had fun while I was falling to the ground. Thank you." The pony replied, getting up off the ground as well. She then fell to the ground again, laughing at who knows what, as I held a hoof out to help her up. She took my hoof and I pulled her up off the ground. By the time I looked at this pony I realized something about her. She is a pink pony with a dark red pink poofy mane and tail, she had a cutie mark of three balloons, she had brightest blue eyes, that seem to sparkle in the sunshine, and she was smiling at me. I looked way from her, then an idea came into my head. I looked back at her, and asked, "Do you know any good romantic restaurants that me and my special somepony can eat at?" The pink pony looked at me for a moment then she replied, "Sure I know all the restaurants in Ponyville, and in Canterlot. Come with me and I show you the perfect one that I had my eye on." I jumped in the air, this is the best day in my life. Finally I calmed down and asked, "Can I follow you so that I can find this place?" The pink pony replied, "Of course. You must be new here so I'll show you around." The pink pony led the way showing me all of the town. We stopped at the Town Hall, then The Flower Shop, then a place called Sugarcube Corner. Weird why do I know that name? I thought to myself. As we walked we came and stopped in front of a fancy restaurant. The doors were made out of red oak, the windows seem to have a clear view of town, and the pink pony that guide me here won't stop bouncing. Why is she excited? It's just a fancy place for couples. Why is she happy? I thought to myself, as I said, "Thanks for showing me around. It was nice meeting you... I just realized I haven't got your name yet." The pink pony stopped bouncing and said, "My name is Pinkie Pie." "Pinkie Pie. Nice to meet you. I'm Rainbow Dash." I said, introducing myself. Pinkie Pie just gasped, then she bounced up into the air and she hugged me tightly to the point, my eyes could have fallen out of their sockets. "I knew you would come back. I just knew you would. I have been waiting for years now and can't believe you came home Rainbow." Pinkie said, tears escaping her eyes. "What do you mean? Isn't this the first time we met?" I asked, choking. Pinkie released her hug, and replied,"You're so silly Dashie, we have been friends for years. Don't you remember the pranks we pulled, the friends we made, any of it coming back to you?" I thought for a moment, then I suddenly realized, I can't remember. I said, "I'm sorry but I don't remember." Pinkie gasped, then looked at the ground. I didn't mean to hurt her it's just that I can't seem to recall anything from my past. I sighed and said, "Thanks for showing me around town today Pinkie." I walked up to the oak wood doors of the restaurant and looked back, Pinkie was gone. I walked in and to my surprise the restaurant was entirely made out of red oak, the ceiling, the floor, the walls, the doors that I came in, and the window frames. I started to look for a waiter or waitress, trying to make a reservation. At Sugarcube Corner A pink pony was looking at a picture from the earlier days. There was a purple unicorn, a white unicorn, a yellow pegasus, a orange farmer, a cyan blue pegasus, a purple dragon, and a pink pony, all happy and together. She held it closely to her chest as she said, "I knew you would come back. But I didn't think you would forget all of us, and the time we spent together. I wanted to tell you how I feel about Rainbow Dash after you got back. The restaurant I showed you today was the day I wanted to tell you that I love you." Chapter 3- MemoriesI finally made a reservation for me and Lightning tonight. It took a long while and it was a long wait but I finally did it. I was flying through the sky looking down at the town. I then focused on my next thing to do on my list, surprise Lightning. I flew faster towards my home hoping to tell her the good news today. Soon I landed gently on my cloud front porch, I opened the front door of my house, and walked in. I looked around the living room and didn't see any sign of Lightning. So I walked into the kitchen, still I found no sign of her. Then it hit me like a rain cloud, I walked up the stairs and into the bedroom, hoping to get a squeal out of her. I opened the door and slowly walked in, I noticed the bed was made, the pillows were all fluffed, and I saw a piece of paper on the end of the bed. I walked towards the bed, picked up the paper, and read it. Dear Rainbow, I'm currently out of the house if you were trying to scare me. So don't worry I'll be back soon, cause I got a surprise for you tonight. You really will be surprised. Hope to see you. Love, xoxoxoxoxoxoxo Lightning Dust Great now can I do for the rest of the day. I thought to myself as I walked towards my cloud couch as I began to think of something to do. I closed my eyes and before I knew it I fell asleep and began to dream. Four years earlier "Dashie." a voice chirped from below me. "Huh? What? Where? Who?" I asked, waking up from my nap. The voice then began to giggle as I looked down from my cloud. I saw a pink pony with a pink poofy mane and tail, three balloons on her flank. She was rolling on the ground, rolling around and laughing as I flew down towards her. As I landed near her, she got up from the ground, and looked at me with her blue eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. I smiled at at her and greeted her, "Hello Pinkie Pie. How are you?" Pinkie gasped, as I was taken aback by the action. So I asked, "What? Is there something on my face?" All of a sudden I was tackled to the ground, by Pinkie Pie. I looked up at her, with a confused expression on my face. Pinkie then said, "Ohmygosh Ohmygosh. We're late, oh so very late." Now I was really confused about what she was saying. We both have to be somewhere. I put a hoof to her mouth as I asked, "Where are we going and what are we late for exactly?" Pinkie looked down at me, then I removed my hoof from her mouth, as I got up from the ground slowly. I brushed myself off then looked at Pinkie who was smiling at me. Now I'm starting to be creeped out by her odd behavior, I wondered if she is throwing another party for somepony. Before I could even ask, something quickly covered my eyes, something black. Then something tied my wings down so I couldn't fly. I couldn't see anything, I couldn't fly away, and I couldn't run away, but I was being pushed by somepony. Oh boy when this black thing gets off of my eyes, and my wings get untied, I'm going to buck the ponies so hard, so hard, they'd wish they never mess with me. Who ever is trying to ponynap me is going to be hurt very soon. But would would ponynap me, the awesome Rainbow Dash. Well I do have plenty of enemies and rivals to list. Let's see here, Discord, well he his a Master of Chaos and he could take me to keep as a prisoner. Then there is Chrysalis, Queen of Changelings, Shining Armor and Cadence, defeated her and send her and her changelings flying towards some direction, this could be her plan to take a Element of Harmony as a prisoner and use their power to conquer Equestria. But there are so many more enemies that I and my friends have made. Who could it be? As soon as whoever was pushing me stopped, I waited for them to take the black thing off of my eyes, and untie my wings so I can buck them. The black thing came off of my eyes and I looked for the pony that tried to ponynap me. I looked around, and nopony was there besides me and Pinkie Pie. I looked down at Pinkie's hooves and I saw that she was holding the black thing that covered my eyes. "Why Pinkie did you use that thing?" I asked, sadly, pointing at the thing she held in her hooves. "Because I wanted to surprise you with something." Pinkie replied to me, smiling. "What is the surprise?" I asked, looking down at the ground. "Turn around and see for yourself Dashie." She replied, pointing her hoof at something that was behind me. I turned around and I was shocked at what was behind me. It was the same restaurant I went to earlier that day to make reservations for me and Lightning Dust. I turned around to look at my friend Pinkie, and she was gone. I kept looking around for her and I found no trace of her. Present time I awoke with a start, beads of sweat coming down from my forehead. I don't know what kind of dream that was but I've been to that restaurant before. And Pinkie Pie, who was that? My head started to hurt as I kept thinking about it. I then heard a door open, I got up from the couch and I saw my mare friend Lightning Dust. She was carrying a shopping bag, in her mouth as she walked in. I slowly walked up behind her and I smacked her flank, she let out a little yelp. She turned around and faced me. I could tell this was going to get out of hoof really soon. Lightning then asked, "What was that for?" I laughed heartily, I fell down to the floor and Lightning jumped on top of me. I looked into her eyes and replied, "Nothing just wanted to make you feel good." "Well don't do it when I'm carrying something." "Sorry babe." "It's alright, I forgive you." "What's in the bag?" "A surprise for you." "Oh. Is it now?" "Yes it is." Well I got a surprise for you too." "Really?! What is it?!" "Well I can't tell you." "Please tell me." Lightning begged to me, batting her eyelashes. I thought it was cute the way she did that, but I smiled and said, "Come with me if you want it so badly." Chapter 4- Choice"Come on Lightning, we'll be late for your surprise!" I shouted up the stairs. "Just a sec. I'll be coming down!" Lightning shouted back at me. I wonder what was taking her so long. Usually, she never takes this long when we go out to a restaurant on a date. I tried to shout again, but this time my jaw just stood open as I looked at my mare friend. She was wearing a black dress made for her and other pegasi to wear. She had two silver earrings with lightning bolts, her mane was tied into a ponytail, and she smelled nice, was she wearing perfume? I don't know, but I couldn't stop looking at her. Lightning looked absolutely beautiful wearing that stuff on her, I could hear her giggle at me shocked expression. "What's wrong Rainbow, did I catch your tongue?" She asked playfully. "No it's not that at all. You look beautiful babe." I replied, a smile forming on my face. She giggled again, and she trotted up towards me and began nuzzling me. I nuzzled her back, taking the sweet smell of her mane. I had to ask, "Where did you get this dress?" She stopped nuzzling me and looked at me. She replied, "I got it from this place called, Carousel Boutique. This white unicorn told me it would catch any stallion or mare's attention." "Really. Hmm I wonder if this unicorn would do something for me." I said, beginning to laugh a bit. Lightning laughed a bit too. I love her laugh, it makes me feel warm and cozy. Whenever I'm around Lightning Dust I feel like nothing can stop me from impressing everypony all around Equestria. I looked at the clock on the wall, it read, 6:00 P.M. Shoot we both are going to be late if we don't hurry. I grabbed Lightning's hoof and ran out of the door in a flash. I spread my wings out and began to fly downwards towards Ponyville. "Rainbow why are you in such a hurry?!" Lightning yelled, holding onto my hoof. "Well your surprise will be ruined if we don't get there on time! Plus, You're going to love it!" I yelled back, flying closer to the streets. As I got close enough I landed gracefully, and dropped to all four hooves. I gently dropped Lightning down to the ground as well, as she gave me her famous death stare. I knew I was going to regret not letting her fly, but I was in a hurry to get us both, well her mostly, to the surprise. She is so going to love me for this, I walked beside her and began to nuzzle and nudge her to go in the one direction where her anniversary present was. I hope she likes it as much as I do, I'm pretty much starving from waiting on somepony. Okay maybe I can't be mad or blame Lightning for looking he best for this occasion. I mean she looks like a angel wearing that black dress, also wearing those sliver lightning bolt earrings, her long mane tied into a ponytail, and the perfume she wore just wanted me to have her right here right now in the middle of public for everypony to watch. But I resisted that thought as we neared the restaurant. When we both approached the door way, I opened the door for Lightning. She began to giggle a bit and walked inside, I followed right behind her, letting the door close on it's own. I began looking at Lightning's fine toned curvy flank, which I began to picture in my mind for what was coming to me later. Just then I shook my head, getting my thoughts back on track for the real reason we both are here tonight. I looked around and realized the place was already packed, good thing I made a reservation for tonight. So I looked down at the ground waiting for somepony to come and get us. Just then a waiter came by and looked at us. "Miss Dash and Miss Dust I presume?" I replied, "Yes that would be us." The waiter looked at us again, picking up two menus from behind his little table. "We have a table open up for you. Come follow me." The waiter said, as he began to turn and leave, so Dust and I followed behind him closely, making sure we both don't get lost on the way. We all approached the table, and I got to say I'm really glad that I made a reservation for this place. The table was meant for two ponies, the chairs facing each other. In the middle of the table, there were two candle holders with non lit candles, and there was a rose with a greeting card. But what caught my attention was a sparkle coming from above the table. There was a chandelier made out of diamonds and colorful gems, reminds me of a friend who use to like to eat those things. A smile escaped my lips as I took in the glistening little sparkles emitting from the chandelier. I tried so hard not to squeal out like a little filly getting to eat the cookie from the cookie jar for being well behaved. I then notice the waiter pulled out a chair for my marefriend, then he walked over to the other side of the table and pulled out a chair for me. I probably should tip him as soon as we leave. I sat down looking across the table at my marefriend, who was still taking in the nice fancy restaurant. Lightning finally looks at me, a sparkle twinkled in her eyes, as she finally asked, "Is this my surprise?" I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her question. So after I dismiss my chuckle, I replied, "Yes it is babe. Happy One Year Anniversary to us being in a relation ship." "Aww you remembered. Happy One Year Anniversary." Lightning told me, she began to smile. I smiled back at her, hoping the our server would be here soon. Maybe me and Dust could start up a conversation while we wait otherwise we could make an awkward silence fly in and build around us like a dam. I began to think for a good topic to talk about, while my marefriend Lightning was giggling at me. Great, I must be doing something pretty funny to make her giggle at me. Well I can't help it when I'm awesome, cool, radical, funny, and I have the most beautiful, coolest, and awesome marefriend in all of Equestria. Come on waiter or waitress, where in the name of Cloudsdale are you? Well if this place wasn't so popular me and Lightning would've ate, payed the bill, we both fly back to my house, and we both have romantic wild sex. Oh sweet Celestia, I'm feeling a bit wet down in the factory as I kept thinking about me and Lightning. That is when I notice a waitress coming our way. She looked very familiar to me, her bright lavender coat, her combed down purple mane and tail, and I saw pink streaks in them, her cutie mark was a pink star with tiny white stars, her purple eyes glistened in the dim light, and she flashed a smile. That is when I looked at her teeth, her teeth seemed to be cleaned, brushed, and white to perfection as she smiled towards me and Lightning. I think I have met her before, but I can't just place where I have met her. My head began to ache, as I held it in my hooves. Lightning and our waitress were looking at me, thinking if something is wrong. There is something wrong with me, but I can't tell Lightning about my problem or it would ruin our special anniversary. So I decided to go on with the date, as I saw the waitress take out a quill and a piece of note paper out of a pocket on her dress, with some purple color looking aura. So she's a unicorn, that... is... so... cool... and... awesome. That is when Lightning and I saw her introducing herself to us, "My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I'll be your waitress for this fine evening." One word to describe this unicorn in front of us, she is very beautiful. I would date her in a heartbeat if I could, but sadly I'm already taken. So back to the main picture, my head began to throb in pain. So I ignored it for now, and I started look down at my menu to see what I could eat. Our waitress waited patiently for me and my marefriend Lightning to order our meals. Thank Celestia we aren't be rushed, Lightning was the first to order up, "I will have the seaside salad, and water to drink." The waitress Twilight Sparkle wrote it down on her pad, she then walked towards me. Maybe I should have a salad to eat as well, got to keep in shape and be healthy for the Wonderbolts. As Twilight neared me, she waited for me to order. "I'll have the seaside salad, and a water to drink please." I said, and Twilight wrote it down on her piece of paper. "Your dishes will be served in five minutes." Twilight told us, as she walked away from our table. What a strange unicorn? Maybe she and I could talk to each other sometime when she isn't busy. But right now as of tonight, I'll focus my attention on Lightning. This anniversary is special to the both of us getting together. The first time I tried to ask Lightning out, I was so nervous I almost puked out my lunch. "Rainbow dear." Lightning said, snapping me out of my trance. "Yes babe." I said back to her, making her smile. "Do you know our waitress?" Lightning asked me. "No. Why do you ask?" I said, confused by her question. "Well it's just, you stared at her like you knew her." Lightning said, her tone sounding sad. "Look babe, I don't know her. All I do know is that you and I are here, in this restaurant together. Tonight for a special occasion." I said to her, my hoof touching the top of her hoof. Man this table is really small, but at least the chandelier makes it look nice. Lightning looked at me, as I looked back at her, getting lost into each other's eyes. I really wanted to kiss her, and bang her till she couldn't walk, on this table we sat at, in this very restaurant. But for now I will control my urges till we both get back to my house and we go wild all night. What was taking our waitress so long? =========================================================================== "We have orders to fill Trixie." Twilight said, looking at a powdered blue unicorn wearing a chef's outfit. "That could wait Twilight dearie." Trixie said in a seductive voice, her tail brushing slowly up against Twilight's hind thigh, watching the purple unicorn shiver. Trixie stood behind Twilight taking in the covered purple flank that was trapped underneath the waitress skirt beckoning to be freed. Twilight then stuttered out, "The... The... The order is just two sea.. seaside sa..salads with t...two glasses of water." "Really? That's all?" Trixie questioned, still looking at Twilight's flank. The powdered blue unicorn began to wonder what two ponies would eat a seaside salad and drink a glass of water. As Trixie continued to think, Twilight took her time to turn herself around to face the blue unicorn. Twilight then walked up to Trixie, and whispered something in her ear. Trixie couldn't wait to get back home tonight as she began to make the two salads. ============================================================================ Lightning and I had tons of fun bringing up conversations from the Wonderbolt's Academy. We talked about the obstacle courses, having lunch in the cafeteria, talking about our leader Spitfire and how awesome she was, we even talked to Soarin for a little bit, and we talked about the time Lightning and I both got together and started our relationship. A few times, I got Lightning to giggle at how many times that I saw her I turned tail and ran away from her. Then I told her how I gain the confidence and a little advice from somepony at the Academy to tell her how I felt about her and asked her out. =========================================================================== Four Years Earlier I entered my bunk and saw my bunk mate Lightning Dust brushing her mane. "Lightning we need to talk." I said to my bunk mate, hoping she soon will be my marefriend. Lightning turned herself around to face me, a smile escaping her beautiful green lips. Oh, I so want to kiss her right now and be done to show her my affection towards her. But that can wait as I took in a deep breath and prepared myself to tell her what I needed to say to her and hopefully we become marefriends. "Rainbow what is it that we need to talk about?" Lightning asked me, beginning to get curious. I closed the bunker door behind me, locking it so no pony else could enter or disturb us. I then walked towards her, with a little sway in my step. My hips began moving slowly up and down as I walked closer to Lightning. When I finally approached Lightning, I couldn't help but get lost into her brilliant gamboge eyes. Why did she have to look at me? I thought to myself as I shook off the feeling of nervousness. "Lightning I ..." I began trying not to make this awkward for the both of us. "Yes Rainbow." Lightning said to me, waiting for me to finish my sentence. "Um I think I..... Ahh just buck it." I said out loud, as I leaned my muzzle closer to near hers. When our muzzles touched, Lightning had this weird confusion look on her face. Before she could say anything, I leaned and forced my lips upon her opal ones and kissed her. "Mppppphhhhhhh." Lightning screamed into the kiss as I knew she would. I parted my lips from hers and looked down at the cold metal ground of the bunker. I could tell that I just ruined my friendship with Lightning so I spoke up, "I love you Lightning." "When?" Was all Lightning asked and said to me. "Ever since we became bunk mates. I started to have these special feelings towards you." I replied, still not looking up at Lightning. I then felt something lift my chin as I was forced up gently and I was looking at Lightning. She had this big smile plastered on her face, as she said, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" "Huh?" I said, confused. "Let me tell you something Rainbow Dash." Lightning said, as she leaned in closer to me. This is getting kinda weird for me. I never seen this side of her before. I'm actually being turned on by the moment. So there I was waiting for Lightning to tell me something or she already did and I just didn't listened to her at all. "Equestria to Rainbow." Lightning waved a hoof in front of my face. "Huh? Wha? I said snapping out of my trance. "I said that maybe we should go out sometime." Lightning said to me, again. "Why would we do that?" I asked, confused. "Well I thought that you loved me." She said with a huff, she began to pout. "I do Lightning. I do love you." I said, trying to make her unpout. "Prove it then." She taunted me. Oh that's it. I immediately grabbed Lightning by her shoulders, forced her up and off of the chair she sat in, and I held her body downward towards the ground. Her mane was inches away from touching the ground. We looked like a couple dancing as I kept her in this position for a bit. She looked up at me and I looked down at her, that is when we both slowly moved closer to each other. Closer, closer, and close enough our muzzles were touching. I closed my eyes, and pressed my lips to hers, and we kissed. This time however without a scream, Lightning kissed me back. =========================================================================== Present Day And that is how me and Lightning began to date. We've been together for four years and I got to say, I'm very proud where our relationship is going. Maybe if the bill isn't too much, I could probably take Lightning out to see a movie or get something sweet to eat or to take back home. That is when I noticed our waitress was walking back towards our table. A small black tray in some sparkling purple aura was floating right above her head. That is so cool and awesome, I wish I could do that. I mean I would give up my flying, just so I can be a unicorn and make things float. I wonder if I could make myself float using my own magic. I pictured it in my head, and smiled at the thought of floating in the town. That would be the best and awesomest thing in my life. As our waitress neared, she lowed the tray so we could see the meals. She then spoke while levitating our dishes to us, "Two seaside salads, with two glasses of water. Is there any salad dressing you want with that?" "No thanks. I replied, smiling. "No thank you." Lightning said, smiling as well. "Then enjoy your meals." Twilight said, bowing her head, then she walked away from us. I got to give Twilight a tip before we leave this restaurant. I then looked back at Lightning and she was glaring madly at me. Oh sweet stallions what did I do now? I began to think what I did and came to a realization. She wants to role play around and tease me before we can get to dessert. I finally got it now, so I played along. I will be playing the innocent one, while she'll be the angry and dominate one. "Rainbow. Can I ask you something?" Lightning finally asked, her glare still piercing at me. "Sure babe." I replied, smiling. "What was that about?" Lightning asked me, her tone changed into a venomous one. Oh, I like it when she gets venomous with me. Sweet Celestia I just don't like it, I love it! So I continued to play along with this game of ours. So I finally replied, "I don't know what you mean." "I mean you smiling at the waitress, before our meals got here." She told me, like I didn't know what she was talking about. "Well I saw her use her magic to levitate the tray. So I pictured myself as a unicorn, levitating things, and myself off the ground." I finally said, felling very foalish about such a dream coming true. Lightning's glare lightened up a bit, and for the second time that night she smiled at me. Good thing I got on her good side again, otherwise I might not get any of her for a single night or two nights at all. "Sorry for causing a little feud." Lightning apologized to me. "I forgive you baby, now let us eat." I said, as I grabbed a fork and began to eat my meal. =============================================================================== A few minute later, and Lightning and I just finished our meals. Whew that sure did make me feel full, now we both wait for the bill to come to our table. Something strange though, I wondered what happened to our waitress, Twilight. I'm going to give her a tip for being nice and polite, and the chef a tip too for giving a well deserved five star meal. I looked into those dark golden orbs that Lightning has, and sighed dreamily at her. She looks so beautiful with that black dress on her. I really got to meet the pony who made that dress and see if they could, if it is not too much trouble, make something special. What was that place Lightning said she got her dress from. Carselu Boqtue, no that's not it. Was it Carb Selutqu? No that doesn't sound right. Fancy Dresses, not even close. Bouquet Carousel, okay that one was pretty darn close. Let me think here, the store, umm it was called, Carousel Boutique. That's the store, sweet hot stallions. Why did it take me so long just to remember a name of a place I heard a few minutes ago? I really got to write things down and remember those things more often. I just don't know why I seem to be forgetting everything all the time. Maybe it's because I love Lightning more than anything, I would happily die just for her. Speaking of my marefriend, I saw Lightning looking at something. I turned to look at what she was looking at and this is what I saw. There was a white coated unicorn with a curled purple mane and tail, wearing some pink frilly dress, and accompanying her was a purple scaled dragon with green spines on top of his head. He wore a fancy tuxedo, and he held a fancy cane in his left hand. Who are those two? I asked myself, because they seem very familiar to me. I notice that they were walking our way, so I bent my head down trying not to make eye contact. "Rainbow?" I looked at Lightning and she was confused what I was doing. "I need to go use the restroom. I'll be right back." I said to her, getting up from my seat and walking away from our table. I probably shouldn't just walk away like that, but right now my head is hurting me like a mother bucker. I found the restroom and decided to use the mare's room. I've been in the stallion bathroom before when I was a little filly. I didn't know that room back then was meant for colts and stallions. I mean the principal, Mr. Grey Storm, of Dale Elementary, talked to me in his office about why I went in there. I told him I had to use the restroom really badly and the fillies restroom had a line built up on the outside of the door, so I went to the boys restroom and used it there. Good thing I got off the hook, and that is the last time I'll remember my principal, Mr. Grey Storm smiling at me and telling me that I had guts to go into a stinking restroom. That was way back then and this is now. Sweet mares in flower fields, why is my head hurting? I looked at myself in the mirror, seeing my own reflection. I don't know why but I checked myself out making sure I wasn't sick or anything. That is when I heard a different voice, "Rainbow darling. Is that you?" Darling. Nopony calls me darling besides Lightning Dust, my marefriend, and all my other friends I made at the Wonderbolt Academy. I looked to my side and I saw the same white unicorn that entered with that dragon fellow. I smiled at her, and I said, "I'm sorry. Do I know you?" "Of course you do dear. It's me Rarity." The white unicorn introduced herself. "Rarity, Rarity, Rarity. Hmmmmmm. Nope, I can't seem to recall meeting you." I said to Rarity, being honest. Rarity looked like she was about to fall over and faint. So I quickly flew towards her and caught her in my hooves. I saw a smile escape her white lips, as she said, "Oh darling. I remember the time at the Young Fliers Competition, you flew after me and a few Wonderbolts, and caught us all from falling towards our fateful end when you performed a Sonic Rainboom at the last second." How did she know about my secret talent? Who is this pony? And why am I still holding her? I gently lifted Rarity back so she was capable of walking on all fours again. I looked at Rarity again and Lightning told me something about a white unicorn, running Carousel Boutique helped her get a dress for this evening. Could this pony be the one Lightning was talking about? I had to know, so I asked, "Did you help out my marefriend get a dress? "Darling you have a marefriend already?!!!!" Rarity shouted excitedly, my ears going deaf from her high pitch squeal. "Yes I do. Do you know her or not?" I said, rubbing both of my ears. "Who's your marefriend darling? I have plenty of other clients and I don't remember my customers." Rarity said to me, looking at me dead in the eyes. "Umm my marefriend is Lightning Dust." I said, sheepishly. "Now I do remember a pegasus with a green coat, an amber mane and tail, and amber eyes, coming into my store and looking for dress and something else." She told me, putting a hoof to her chin. "That pegasus you're talking about is my marefriend." I said, trying not to drag this conversation on for too long. "Well yes I did help her. Such a nice well mannered mare." Rarity said, looking back at me again. "Thank you for helping her." I said, as I turned myself towards the sink, as I began to wash my face. "You're most welcome darling." She said, as I continued to wash my face. "Now I have a question dear." Rarity said, as I looked into the mirror and saw her eyes were piercing into my very soul. "Yes Rarity, What is it?" I asked, trying not to sound scared. "Are you sure you don't remember me?" She finally asked me. Whew I thought for a second she was going to ask something personal. So I replied, "I'm sorry, but I don't." "Well it was worth a try." Rarity said, smiling as she walked over towards the sink next to me. "Well I'll be seeing you again Rarity." I said as I got ready to leave the restroom. But before I could leave Rarity asked me something that I wouldn't forget for the rest of my life. She asked me, "Does Pinkie Pie know you're dating?" I froze in place, my hoof was inches away from opening the door to freedom. But that question made freeze in place, sweat began to form under my brow. I slowly turned myself around to look at Rarity again. This time the white unicorn was looking at me with a intensify glare that could scare a herd of timber wolves back to the Everfree Forest. Who was Pinkie Pie? And what does Rarity know about me? So I replied, "I'm sorry, but I haven't even told her yet." "Darling you must tell her before things get any worse." Rarity told me, as she looked at me dead in the eye. What did she mean things could get worse? Before this conversation gets anymore awkward than it need to be, I opened the ladies room door and walked out of the bathroom. As I was making back to my table, I noticed that Lightning wasn't there. Where did she go? I then notice that there were bits on the table, and a folded up piece of napkin. I grabbed the folded napkin, unfolded it, and I saw it had message written on it. The message read, Dear Rainbow, Thank you for the dinner sweetie. I really did enjoy it. Now to celebrate our anniversary together, I hope you can come home. I have a special present waiting for you when you return. Happy one year anniversary Rainbow I love you. Love forever, XOXOXOXOXO Lightning Dust. So she went back home. Okay I thought I did something bad there for a second. I walked away from the table, and towards the entrance of the restaurant. Just as I opened the door to leave, I was greeted with the same pink earth pony that I met earlier today. This time however, she was staring at me with anger in her eyes. She then said, "Hi Dashie." Sweet Celestia am I ever so in trouble.
Chapter 1- Coming Home Four Years Later Home. I never thought that I would be heading home after all these years. I trained so hard to be a Wonderbolt and now I am one. It has been four years since I have left home in pursue of my dream. Finally, I can go back to my awesome cloud house in Ponyville with my mare friend Lightning Dust. During the four years of being at the most awesome academy in all of Equestria. I met the Wonderbolt's Leader Spitfire, I fell in love with Lightning Dust, I made new friends, and I trained everyday trying to impress the other Wonderbolts, I also slept in a dorm room. Everything is just great. Now I am so excited that I am going home and show Lightning Dust my awesome cloud house. I wonder what has changed in Ponyville since I have been gone. I probably should when I get back fly above town and see what has changed. Why do I feel heavy on the inside? Did I eat something raw? Am I sick? Why do I feel like there is some thing missing from my life? I don't know what this feeling is but I don't care, I am going home. Just then the door to my bunker opened and I turned around to see Lightning Dust standing right at the entrance. "Rainbow can I come in?" She asked in a soft voice. I love it when she asks me for permission, I also love her fur color and mane color. Her fur color was a light opal and her mane color was a brilliant amber and her eyes were a brilliant gamboge. I also love her cutie mark, it had a lightning bolt striking at three stars. I nodded and happily answered, "Yeah, come in." She trotted over towards me. "Are you ready to get going Rainbow?" Lightning asked. "Yeah just give me a few minutes." I replied, calmly. Lightning stood there a couple of seconds and then she nodded. I walked past her and walked out of my bunker. I turned around and looked at the building one last time and sighed. I will miss the Wonderbolt Academy, the Food Hall Miss Spitfire our teacher, leader, and friend, and I will miss the obstacle courses the most of all. I got to show off most of my skills and awesomeness during the years and months since I've been here at the Academy. 1 hour later. After I got the rest of my stuff from my locker, said good bye to Miss Spitfire and my friends, and wish the best of luck to the others at the Academy, I returned to my bunker and I saw Lightning Dust sitting on my bed, looking at me with happiness in her eyes. "Are you ready to go now?" She asked me." I nodded, and replied "Yeah, let's go." It took a couple of minutes to grab my saddlebag and put it on my back, look at my bunker one last time, and close the door. As I was walking away from the front door, I saw Lightning Dust standing at the edge of the Academy. I galloped as fast as my hooves would carry me. I stopped before her and looked at her to see she had a huge grin on her face. "Rainbow how about we race to your home? First one there is a dead flyer." Lightning said, confidently. "What does the winner get?" I asked. "Well the loser has to do what the winner says. No matter what it is." "Like what exactly?" "Well let's just say anything can happened." "So no matter what the winner says." "That is correct." "The task can be anything the winner sets her mind to." "That's right." "Alright. I accept. Let's get into starting positions." We stood on the edge of the Academy, lowering our upper bodies so that they look like we are touching the ground, we then raised our back hooves, then we expanded our wings, and we just stood there gazing out towards the sun that was beginning to set. "Ready..." Lightning said. "Set..." I said. "GO!" We both shouted and took off. During the race, Lightning and I flew so fast that we were half way to Ponyville. We both showed off some tricks we learned at he Academy, looking at each other and grinning. For a few minutes, we were neck and neck, it looked like a tie breaker, but during the race we both began to speed it up. As soon as we sped up, I saw Cloudsdale ahead of us. I immediately was in the lead when Lightning Dust appeared next to me. Great, I was hoping to win this race, but maybe I can do something. "Hey Lightning Dust." I shouted. "What?" She asked, shouting. "Let's raise the stakes a bit." "What do you have in mind?" "Well if the winner gets something, maybe the loser should get something in return." "That sounds like an awesome idea, Rainbow. Let's do it." I can't believe that worked. Now, no matter who wins or loses this race, both competitors get something for effort. I immediately sped up again and I saw my house just ahead by a few more meters, until I get my prize. "Almost there." I said, smiling for victory. Just as I was about to touch my front door step, I was tackled out of the air by something or should I say somepony. I looked at my assailant, and I saw Lightning Dust holding me in a tight embrace. "This is so not fair. Lightning nopony will win the race and get their prize." I said, struggling to get out of the embrace. "I know Rainbow but I had a better idea." Lightning said, smiling. Just as I was about to ask we both landing on my cloud front porch. Lightning still tightly embracing me, whispered something in my ear, "Looks like it is a tie. What do we do if we get a tie in the race?" "I may have a suggestion. Why don't we head inside my house and we'll talk about the tie breaker." I said, smiling at my marefriend. "I can't wait to know what it is." Lightning Dust shrieked in excitement. I unlocked the door using my cloud house key and opened the front door, being like a gentlecolt or in this case a lady, I allowed Dust to enter first, then I followed behind her. Lightning Dust looked around the main living room of my house and said, "Wow. It's so cool and beautiful. I can't believe I'm actually going to live here with you Rainbow." As Lightning turned around to face me I trotted up towards her and smiled. She smiled back at me and then she asked, "What do we get for having a tie?" "This." I replied, as I pressed my lips gently on her light opal lips. We both kissed for a long time in the living room, soon I started to sprout my wings out and gently lifted Lightning off the ground. I carried her in my hooves bridal style, and flew slowly all the way to our bedroom. We were kissing then we opened our mouths and let our tongue's dance inside our mouths. Soon Lightning and I began moaning in pleasure, as she started to take off my uniform and as I stared to take her's off as well. As soon as we took off each other's uniform and threw them to the side of the bedroom floor. I flew gently to the bed with Lightning in my embrace, I gently put her down on the bed and I flew right on top of her. She began moaning in pleasure under me and I knew we both need to relief ourselves, so I began kissing her neck. She was panted heavily and rapidly as I continued to kiss and gently nib at her neck. I then began to kiss lower down her body and she continued to pant even more rapidly. "So enjoying the tie breaker Lightning." I said, nibbling at her thigh. "Yes... Ah... Yes... I couldn't wait for what tomorrow would bring for me.
Chapter 2- ChangeThe next morning. I woke up in my cloud bed under my cloud blanket. I sat up and looked around my cloud bedroom, and I saw my marefriend sleeping away, with a smile on her face. I smiled at her for having the best night ever with her, I hope she is okay after what happened. I thought to myself, as I slowly got out of the bed, not wanting to wake up Lightning. I headed to the bathroom to take a shower. As I entered the tub, closing the shower curtain, and began to wash myself. I yawned in the shower, I let the warm water drizzle on my cyan coat, trying to wake myself up and prepare for the day. I drifted off into my own thoughts as I didn't hear or saw what happen next. A pair of hooves covered my eyes as if blinding me from seeing the assailant. A voice happily chirped in the air as it asked, "Guess who?" I smiled as I recognized the voice. So I played along and guessed, "Is it Spitfire?" "Nope. Try again." The voice replied, happily. "Is it Cloud Blossom?" I guessed again. "Nope. One more guess." The voice replied. "Is it Soarin?" I guessed one last time. "Nope. Looks like I win." The voice said, taking it's hooves off of me. I was immediately turned around and came face to face with my marefriend, Lightning Dust. She had this huge smile planted on her face, as she leaned in closer to me. I leaned in as well, but then Lightning Dust spoke up in a lustful tone, "I didn't get to make you have pleasure for the tie breaker last night. I think it's my turn to even up the score a bit." Just before I got to say anything Lightning pressed her lips against mine. So there we were in the shower, kissing each other, the water drizzling down our manes and coats. Just then I felt something pressing at my teeth, I opened my mouth and Lightning's tongue came in. Getting every single inch of my mouth, I began to moan into the kiss as I fell on my back on the hard floor of the shower. Lightning then jumped right on top of me, as she continued the kiss and let her tongue dance in my mouth. I couldn't help it, it felt so right to do this, I kissed back and let my tongue find hers. There is nothing more than I want to do but be with her for the rest of my life. But I had plans to go fly around Ponyville, and possibly take Lightning out to dinner at a great restaurant. I said,"I am going out for a fly around town and should be back soon." Lightning nodded as she nuzzled me. We both enjoyed the hot shower, and got out of it. We both began drying off with the only cloud towel that I brought in with me. Soon, we both dried off and left the bathroom, we walk down the stairs of our cloud home and went into the kitchen. I got an apple, banana, orange, some lilies, and some water to rehydrate me after the event in the shower. Lightning got the same food, apple, banana, orange, some lilies, and water, and we both ate the healthy breakfast. Soon, I put my plate in the sink, walked over towards Lightning and kissed her on the cheek, nuzzled her, she returned the nuzzle, and I walked out into the living room of our cloud home, and walked out the front door closing it gently behind me. I flew off my front porch as I took to the sky, my house became a giant white blur as I flew further away from it. As soon as I saw my house farther in the horizon, I then flew towards Ponyville. As the town came into view, I noticed that everypony was walking, the streets and looked very different in some way, that I can't quite put my hoof on it. I also noticed that the town was more bigger than usual, the buildings were the size of tall towers or skyscrapers. As I flew down and landed in the middle of the streets of Ponyville, I began to walk around. I came to a stop when I saw a orange mare with dry blonde mane and tail, working at a stall. I walked towards her, maybe I can ask her what restaurants are the best to eat at. "Excuse me miss. I have a question." I said, walking up to the orange mare. "Sure. What can Ah do for ya?" The orange mare asked me, looking at me. "Well I was wondering. What are the best restaurants around here?" I asked her, feeling embarrassed. "Well Ah don't know many fancy restaurants, but maybe I can give you a map of Ponyville." The orange mare replied, looking through her saddle bag, that I was near her. I like her accent, it reminds me of a friend I used to know but I can't remember who, and where I met the pony. So I asked, "Um do you and I know each other?" "Nope. Ah can't seem to recall seeing you round here. This is actually the first time we met." The orange mare replied, handing me a map with her hoof. "Thanks for answering my question and thanks for the map. Miss..." I started to say. "Applejack. Just call me Applejack or AJ for short." She replied, finishing my sentence. "I'm Rainbow Dash." I said, smiling. I waved good-bye to Applejack and walked away. I let her resume her business as I began reading the map she had given me. Applejack. Why does that name sound familiar? I began to think. Then it hit me like a lightning bolt, I ran back to where I seen and met Applejack but then I saw the spot she was at and no pony was there. She was gone, disappeared. I guess we really didn't know each other. I began reading the map again, looking around for a great restaurant. At Sweet Apple Acres Ah can't believe that she came back. Ah hope that lie didn't hurt her to much. Applejack ran to her farm house and told her family who came back to Ponyville. Back in Ponyville I couldn't find a restaurant written on the map that Miss Applejack gave me. I just wanted to surprise Lightning Dust tonight. Why is finding a nice restaurant so frustrating?! I thought to myself as I kept walking and looking down at the map of the town. Not paying attention to where I was walking, I bumped into somepony and we both fell to the ground. "I'm so sorry. I got caught up reading something and didn't see where I was going." I apologized, quickly getting up off the ground. "That's okay. I had fun while I was falling to the ground. Thank you." The pony replied, getting up off the ground as well. She then fell to the ground again, laughing at who knows what, as I held a hoof out to help her up. She took my hoof and I pulled her up off the ground. By the time I looked at this pony I realized something about her. She is a pink pony with a dark red pink poofy mane and tail, she had a cutie mark of three balloons, she had brightest blue eyes, that seem to sparkle in the sunshine, and she was smiling at me. I looked way from her, then an idea came into my head. I looked back at her, and asked, "Do you know any good romantic restaurants that me and my special somepony can eat at?" The pink pony looked at me for a moment then she replied, "Sure I know all the restaurants in Ponyville, and in Canterlot. Come with me and I show you the perfect one that I had my eye on." I jumped in the air, this is the best day in my life. Finally I calmed down and asked, "Can I follow you so that I can find this place?" The pink pony replied, "Of course. You must be new here so I'll show you around." The pink pony led the way showing me all of the town. We stopped at the Town Hall, then The Flower Shop, then a place called Sugarcube Corner. Weird why do I know that name? I thought to myself. As we walked we came and stopped in front of a fancy restaurant. The doors were made out of red oak, the windows seem to have a clear view of town, and the pink pony that guide me here won't stop bouncing. Why is she excited? It's just a fancy place for couples. Why is she happy? I thought to myself, as I said, "Thanks for showing me around. It was nice meeting you... I just realized I haven't got your name yet." The pink pony stopped bouncing and said, "My name is Pinkie Pie." "Pinkie Pie. Nice to meet you. I'm Rainbow Dash." I said, introducing myself. Pinkie Pie just gasped, then she bounced up into the air and she hugged me tightly to the point, my eyes could have fallen out of their sockets. "I knew you would come back. I just knew you would. I have been waiting for years now and can't believe you came home Rainbow." Pinkie said, tears escaping her eyes. "What do you mean? Isn't this the first time we met?" I asked, choking. Pinkie released her hug, and replied,"You're so silly Dashie, we have been friends for years. Don't you remember the pranks we pulled, the friends we made, any of it coming back to you?" I thought for a moment, then I suddenly realized, I can't remember. I said, "I'm sorry but I don't remember." Pinkie gasped, then looked at the ground. I didn't mean to hurt her it's just that I can't seem to recall anything from my past. I sighed and said, "Thanks for showing me around town today Pinkie." I walked up to the oak wood doors of the restaurant and looked back, Pinkie was gone. I walked in and to my surprise the restaurant was entirely made out of red oak, the ceiling, the floor, the walls, the doors that I came in, and the window frames. I started to look for a waiter or waitress, trying to make a reservation. At Sugarcube Corner A pink pony was looking at a picture from the earlier days. There was a purple unicorn, a white unicorn, a yellow pegasus, a orange farmer, a cyan blue pegasus, a purple dragon, and a pink pony, all happy and together. She held it closely to her chest as she said, "I knew you would come back. But I didn't think you would forget all of us, and the time we spent together. I wanted to tell you how I feel about Rainbow Dash after you got back. The restaurant I showed you today was the day I wanted to tell you that I love you."
Chapter 3- MemoriesI finally made a reservation for me and Lightning tonight. It took a long while and it was a long wait but I finally did it. I was flying through the sky looking down at the town. I then focused on my next thing to do on my list, surprise Lightning. I flew faster towards my home hoping to tell her the good news today. Soon I landed gently on my cloud front porch, I opened the front door of my house, and walked in. I looked around the living room and didn't see any sign of Lightning. So I walked into the kitchen, still I found no sign of her. Then it hit me like a rain cloud, I walked up the stairs and into the bedroom, hoping to get a squeal out of her. I opened the door and slowly walked in, I noticed the bed was made, the pillows were all fluffed, and I saw a piece of paper on the end of the bed. I walked towards the bed, picked up the paper, and read it. Dear Rainbow, I'm currently out of the house if you were trying to scare me. So don't worry I'll be back soon, cause I got a surprise for you tonight. You really will be surprised. Hope to see you. Love, xoxoxoxoxoxoxo Lightning Dust Great now can I do for the rest of the day. I thought to myself as I walked towards my cloud couch as I began to think of something to do. I closed my eyes and before I knew it I fell asleep and began to dream. Four years earlier "Dashie." a voice chirped from below me. "Huh? What? Where? Who?" I asked, waking up from my nap. The voice then began to giggle as I looked down from my cloud. I saw a pink pony with a pink poofy mane and tail, three balloons on her flank. She was rolling on the ground, rolling around and laughing as I flew down towards her. As I landed near her, she got up from the ground, and looked at me with her blue eyes that sparkled in the sunlight. I smiled at at her and greeted her, "Hello Pinkie Pie. How are you?" Pinkie gasped, as I was taken aback by the action. So I asked, "What? Is there something on my face?" All of a sudden I was tackled to the ground, by Pinkie Pie. I looked up at her, with a confused expression on my face. Pinkie then said, "Ohmygosh Ohmygosh. We're late, oh so very late." Now I was really confused about what she was saying. We both have to be somewhere. I put a hoof to her mouth as I asked, "Where are we going and what are we late for exactly?" Pinkie looked down at me, then I removed my hoof from her mouth, as I got up from the ground slowly. I brushed myself off then looked at Pinkie who was smiling at me. Now I'm starting to be creeped out by her odd behavior, I wondered if she is throwing another party for somepony. Before I could even ask, something quickly covered my eyes, something black. Then something tied my wings down so I couldn't fly. I couldn't see anything, I couldn't fly away, and I couldn't run away, but I was being pushed by somepony. Oh boy when this black thing gets off of my eyes, and my wings get untied, I'm going to buck the ponies so hard, so hard, they'd wish they never mess with me. Who ever is trying to ponynap me is going to be hurt very soon. But would would ponynap me, the awesome Rainbow Dash. Well I do have plenty of enemies and rivals to list. Let's see here, Discord, well he his a Master of Chaos and he could take me to keep as a prisoner. Then there is Chrysalis, Queen of Changelings, Shining Armor and Cadence, defeated her and send her and her changelings flying towards some direction, this could be her plan to take a Element of Harmony as a prisoner and use their power to conquer Equestria. But there are so many more enemies that I and my friends have made. Who could it be? As soon as whoever was pushing me stopped, I waited for them to take the black thing off of my eyes, and untie my wings so I can buck them. The black thing came off of my eyes and I looked for the pony that tried to ponynap me. I looked around, and nopony was there besides me and Pinkie Pie. I looked down at Pinkie's hooves and I saw that she was holding the black thing that covered my eyes. "Why Pinkie did you use that thing?" I asked, sadly, pointing at the thing she held in her hooves. "Because I wanted to surprise you with something." Pinkie replied to me, smiling. "What is the surprise?" I asked, looking down at the ground. "Turn around and see for yourself Dashie." She replied, pointing her hoof at something that was behind me. I turned around and I was shocked at what was behind me. It was the same restaurant I went to earlier that day to make reservations for me and Lightning Dust. I turned around to look at my friend Pinkie, and she was gone. I kept looking around for her and I found no trace of her. Present time I awoke with a start, beads of sweat coming down from my forehead. I don't know what kind of dream that was but I've been to that restaurant before. And Pinkie Pie, who was that? My head started to hurt as I kept thinking about it. I then heard a door open, I got up from the couch and I saw my mare friend Lightning Dust. She was carrying a shopping bag, in her mouth as she walked in. I slowly walked up behind her and I smacked her flank, she let out a little yelp. She turned around and faced me. I could tell this was going to get out of hoof really soon. Lightning then asked, "What was that for?" I laughed heartily, I fell down to the floor and Lightning jumped on top of me. I looked into her eyes and replied, "Nothing just wanted to make you feel good." "Well don't do it when I'm carrying something." "Sorry babe." "It's alright, I forgive you." "What's in the bag?" "A surprise for you." "Oh. Is it now?" "Yes it is." Well I got a surprise for you too." "Really?! What is it?!" "Well I can't tell you." "Please tell me." Lightning begged to me, batting her eyelashes. I thought it was cute the way she did that, but I smiled and said, "Come with me if you want it so badly."
Chapter 4- Choice"Come on Lightning, we'll be late for your surprise!" I shouted up the stairs. "Just a sec. I'll be coming down!" Lightning shouted back at me. I wonder what was taking her so long. Usually, she never takes this long when we go out to a restaurant on a date. I tried to shout again, but this time my jaw just stood open as I looked at my mare friend. She was wearing a black dress made for her and other pegasi to wear. She had two silver earrings with lightning bolts, her mane was tied into a ponytail, and she smelled nice, was she wearing perfume? I don't know, but I couldn't stop looking at her. Lightning looked absolutely beautiful wearing that stuff on her, I could hear her giggle at me shocked expression. "What's wrong Rainbow, did I catch your tongue?" She asked playfully. "No it's not that at all. You look beautiful babe." I replied, a smile forming on my face. She giggled again, and she trotted up towards me and began nuzzling me. I nuzzled her back, taking the sweet smell of her mane. I had to ask, "Where did you get this dress?" She stopped nuzzling me and looked at me. She replied, "I got it from this place called, Carousel Boutique. This white unicorn told me it would catch any stallion or mare's attention." "Really. Hmm I wonder if this unicorn would do something for me." I said, beginning to laugh a bit. Lightning laughed a bit too. I love her laugh, it makes me feel warm and cozy. Whenever I'm around Lightning Dust I feel like nothing can stop me from impressing everypony all around Equestria. I looked at the clock on the wall, it read, 6:00 P.M. Shoot we both are going to be late if we don't hurry. I grabbed Lightning's hoof and ran out of the door in a flash. I spread my wings out and began to fly downwards towards Ponyville. "Rainbow why are you in such a hurry?!" Lightning yelled, holding onto my hoof. "Well your surprise will be ruined if we don't get there on time! Plus, You're going to love it!" I yelled back, flying closer to the streets. As I got close enough I landed gracefully, and dropped to all four hooves. I gently dropped Lightning down to the ground as well, as she gave me her famous death stare. I knew I was going to regret not letting her fly, but I was in a hurry to get us both, well her mostly, to the surprise. She is so going to love me for this, I walked beside her and began to nuzzle and nudge her to go in the one direction where her anniversary present was. I hope she likes it as much as I do, I'm pretty much starving from waiting on somepony. Okay maybe I can't be mad or blame Lightning for looking he best for this occasion. I mean she looks like a angel wearing that black dress, also wearing those sliver lightning bolt earrings, her long mane tied into a ponytail, and the perfume she wore just wanted me to have her right here right now in the middle of public for everypony to watch. But I resisted that thought as we neared the restaurant. When we both approached the door way, I opened the door for Lightning. She began to giggle a bit and walked inside, I followed right behind her, letting the door close on it's own. I began looking at Lightning's fine toned curvy flank, which I began to picture in my mind for what was coming to me later. Just then I shook my head, getting my thoughts back on track for the real reason we both are here tonight. I looked around and realized the place was already packed, good thing I made a reservation for tonight. So I looked down at the ground waiting for somepony to come and get us. Just then a waiter came by and looked at us. "Miss Dash and Miss Dust I presume?" I replied, "Yes that would be us." The waiter looked at us again, picking up two menus from behind his little table. "We have a table open up for you. Come follow me." The waiter said, as he began to turn and leave, so Dust and I followed behind him closely, making sure we both don't get lost on the way. We all approached the table, and I got to say I'm really glad that I made a reservation for this place. The table was meant for two ponies, the chairs facing each other. In the middle of the table, there were two candle holders with non lit candles, and there was a rose with a greeting card. But what caught my attention was a sparkle coming from above the table. There was a chandelier made out of diamonds and colorful gems, reminds me of a friend who use to like to eat those things. A smile escaped my lips as I took in the glistening little sparkles emitting from the chandelier. I tried so hard not to squeal out like a little filly getting to eat the cookie from the cookie jar for being well behaved. I then notice the waiter pulled out a chair for my marefriend, then he walked over to the other side of the table and pulled out a chair for me. I probably should tip him as soon as we leave. I sat down looking across the table at my marefriend, who was still taking in the nice fancy restaurant. Lightning finally looks at me, a sparkle twinkled in her eyes, as she finally asked, "Is this my surprise?" I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her question. So after I dismiss my chuckle, I replied, "Yes it is babe. Happy One Year Anniversary to us being in a relation ship." "Aww you remembered. Happy One Year Anniversary." Lightning told me, she began to smile. I smiled back at her, hoping the our server would be here soon. Maybe me and Dust could start up a conversation while we wait otherwise we could make an awkward silence fly in and build around us like a dam. I began to think for a good topic to talk about, while my marefriend Lightning was giggling at me. Great, I must be doing something pretty funny to make her giggle at me. Well I can't help it when I'm awesome, cool, radical, funny, and I have the most beautiful, coolest, and awesome marefriend in all of Equestria. Come on waiter or waitress, where in the name of Cloudsdale are you? Well if this place wasn't so popular me and Lightning would've ate, payed the bill, we both fly back to my house, and we both have romantic wild sex. Oh sweet Celestia, I'm feeling a bit wet down in the factory as I kept thinking about me and Lightning. That is when I notice a waitress coming our way. She looked very familiar to me, her bright lavender coat, her combed down purple mane and tail, and I saw pink streaks in them, her cutie mark was a pink star with tiny white stars, her purple eyes glistened in the dim light, and she flashed a smile. That is when I looked at her teeth, her teeth seemed to be cleaned, brushed, and white to perfection as she smiled towards me and Lightning. I think I have met her before, but I can't just place where I have met her. My head began to ache, as I held it in my hooves. Lightning and our waitress were looking at me, thinking if something is wrong. There is something wrong with me, but I can't tell Lightning about my problem or it would ruin our special anniversary. So I decided to go on with the date, as I saw the waitress take out a quill and a piece of note paper out of a pocket on her dress, with some purple color looking aura. So she's a unicorn, that... is... so... cool... and... awesome. That is when Lightning and I saw her introducing herself to us, "My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I'll be your waitress for this fine evening." One word to describe this unicorn in front of us, she is very beautiful. I would date her in a heartbeat if I could, but sadly I'm already taken. So back to the main picture, my head began to throb in pain. So I ignored it for now, and I started look down at my menu to see what I could eat. Our waitress waited patiently for me and my marefriend Lightning to order our meals. Thank Celestia we aren't be rushed, Lightning was the first to order up, "I will have the seaside salad, and water to drink." The waitress Twilight Sparkle wrote it down on her pad, she then walked towards me. Maybe I should have a salad to eat as well, got to keep in shape and be healthy for the Wonderbolts. As Twilight neared me, she waited for me to order. "I'll have the seaside salad, and a water to drink please." I said, and Twilight wrote it down on her piece of paper. "Your dishes will be served in five minutes." Twilight told us, as she walked away from our table. What a strange unicorn? Maybe she and I could talk to each other sometime when she isn't busy. But right now as of tonight, I'll focus my attention on Lightning. This anniversary is special to the both of us getting together. The first time I tried to ask Lightning out, I was so nervous I almost puked out my lunch. "Rainbow dear." Lightning said, snapping me out of my trance. "Yes babe." I said back to her, making her smile. "Do you know our waitress?" Lightning asked me. "No. Why do you ask?" I said, confused by her question. "Well it's just, you stared at her like you knew her." Lightning said, her tone sounding sad. "Look babe, I don't know her. All I do know is that you and I are here, in this restaurant together. Tonight for a special occasion." I said to her, my hoof touching the top of her hoof. Man this table is really small, but at least the chandelier makes it look nice. Lightning looked at me, as I looked back at her, getting lost into each other's eyes. I really wanted to kiss her, and bang her till she couldn't walk, on this table we sat at, in this very restaurant. But for now I will control my urges till we both get back to my house and we go wild all night. What was taking our waitress so long? =========================================================================== "We have orders to fill Trixie." Twilight said, looking at a powdered blue unicorn wearing a chef's outfit. "That could wait Twilight dearie." Trixie said in a seductive voice, her tail brushing slowly up against Twilight's hind thigh, watching the purple unicorn shiver. Trixie stood behind Twilight taking in the covered purple flank that was trapped underneath the waitress skirt beckoning to be freed. Twilight then stuttered out, "The... The... The order is just two sea.. seaside sa..salads with t...two glasses of water." "Really? That's all?" Trixie questioned, still looking at Twilight's flank. The powdered blue unicorn began to wonder what two ponies would eat a seaside salad and drink a glass of water. As Trixie continued to think, Twilight took her time to turn herself around to face the blue unicorn. Twilight then walked up to Trixie, and whispered something in her ear. Trixie couldn't wait to get back home tonight as she began to make the two salads. ============================================================================ Lightning and I had tons of fun bringing up conversations from the Wonderbolt's Academy. We talked about the obstacle courses, having lunch in the cafeteria, talking about our leader Spitfire and how awesome she was, we even talked to Soarin for a little bit, and we talked about the time Lightning and I both got together and started our relationship. A few times, I got Lightning to giggle at how many times that I saw her I turned tail and ran away from her. Then I told her how I gain the confidence and a little advice from somepony at the Academy to tell her how I felt about her and asked her out. =========================================================================== Four Years Earlier I entered my bunk and saw my bunk mate Lightning Dust brushing her mane. "Lightning we need to talk." I said to my bunk mate, hoping she soon will be my marefriend. Lightning turned herself around to face me, a smile escaping her beautiful green lips. Oh, I so want to kiss her right now and be done to show her my affection towards her. But that can wait as I took in a deep breath and prepared myself to tell her what I needed to say to her and hopefully we become marefriends. "Rainbow what is it that we need to talk about?" Lightning asked me, beginning to get curious. I closed the bunker door behind me, locking it so no pony else could enter or disturb us. I then walked towards her, with a little sway in my step. My hips began moving slowly up and down as I walked closer to Lightning. When I finally approached Lightning, I couldn't help but get lost into her brilliant gamboge eyes. Why did she have to look at me? I thought to myself as I shook off the feeling of nervousness. "Lightning I ..." I began trying not to make this awkward for the both of us. "Yes Rainbow." Lightning said to me, waiting for me to finish my sentence. "Um I think I..... Ahh just buck it." I said out loud, as I leaned my muzzle closer to near hers. When our muzzles touched, Lightning had this weird confusion look on her face. Before she could say anything, I leaned and forced my lips upon her opal ones and kissed her. "Mppppphhhhhhh." Lightning screamed into the kiss as I knew she would. I parted my lips from hers and looked down at the cold metal ground of the bunker. I could tell that I just ruined my friendship with Lightning so I spoke up, "I love you Lightning." "When?" Was all Lightning asked and said to me. "Ever since we became bunk mates. I started to have these special feelings towards you." I replied, still not looking up at Lightning. I then felt something lift my chin as I was forced up gently and I was looking at Lightning. She had this big smile plastered on her face, as she said, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" "Huh?" I said, confused. "Let me tell you something Rainbow Dash." Lightning said, as she leaned in closer to me. This is getting kinda weird for me. I never seen this side of her before. I'm actually being turned on by the moment. So there I was waiting for Lightning to tell me something or she already did and I just didn't listened to her at all. "Equestria to Rainbow." Lightning waved a hoof in front of my face. "Huh? Wha? I said snapping out of my trance. "I said that maybe we should go out sometime." Lightning said to me, again. "Why would we do that?" I asked, confused. "Well I thought that you loved me." She said with a huff, she began to pout. "I do Lightning. I do love you." I said, trying to make her unpout. "Prove it then." She taunted me. Oh that's it. I immediately grabbed Lightning by her shoulders, forced her up and off of the chair she sat in, and I held her body downward towards the ground. Her mane was inches away from touching the ground. We looked like a couple dancing as I kept her in this position for a bit. She looked up at me and I looked down at her, that is when we both slowly moved closer to each other. Closer, closer, and close enough our muzzles were touching. I closed my eyes, and pressed my lips to hers, and we kissed. This time however without a scream, Lightning kissed me back. =========================================================================== Present Day And that is how me and Lightning began to date. We've been together for four years and I got to say, I'm very proud where our relationship is going. Maybe if the bill isn't too much, I could probably take Lightning out to see a movie or get something sweet to eat or to take back home. That is when I noticed our waitress was walking back towards our table. A small black tray in some sparkling purple aura was floating right above her head. That is so cool and awesome, I wish I could do that. I mean I would give up my flying, just so I can be a unicorn and make things float. I wonder if I could make myself float using my own magic. I pictured it in my head, and smiled at the thought of floating in the town. That would be the best and awesomest thing in my life. As our waitress neared, she lowed the tray so we could see the meals. She then spoke while levitating our dishes to us, "Two seaside salads, with two glasses of water. Is there any salad dressing you want with that?" "No thanks. I replied, smiling. "No thank you." Lightning said, smiling as well. "Then enjoy your meals." Twilight said, bowing her head, then she walked away from us. I got to give Twilight a tip before we leave this restaurant. I then looked back at Lightning and she was glaring madly at me. Oh sweet stallions what did I do now? I began to think what I did and came to a realization. She wants to role play around and tease me before we can get to dessert. I finally got it now, so I played along. I will be playing the innocent one, while she'll be the angry and dominate one. "Rainbow. Can I ask you something?" Lightning finally asked, her glare still piercing at me. "Sure babe." I replied, smiling. "What was that about?" Lightning asked me, her tone changed into a venomous one. Oh, I like it when she gets venomous with me. Sweet Celestia I just don't like it, I love it! So I continued to play along with this game of ours. So I finally replied, "I don't know what you mean." "I mean you smiling at the waitress, before our meals got here." She told me, like I didn't know what she was talking about. "Well I saw her use her magic to levitate the tray. So I pictured myself as a unicorn, levitating things, and myself off the ground." I finally said, felling very foalish about such a dream coming true. Lightning's glare lightened up a bit, and for the second time that night she smiled at me. Good thing I got on her good side again, otherwise I might not get any of her for a single night or two nights at all. "Sorry for causing a little feud." Lightning apologized to me. "I forgive you baby, now let us eat." I said, as I grabbed a fork and began to eat my meal. =============================================================================== A few minute later, and Lightning and I just finished our meals. Whew that sure did make me feel full, now we both wait for the bill to come to our table. Something strange though, I wondered what happened to our waitress, Twilight. I'm going to give her a tip for being nice and polite, and the chef a tip too for giving a well deserved five star meal. I looked into those dark golden orbs that Lightning has, and sighed dreamily at her. She looks so beautiful with that black dress on her. I really got to meet the pony who made that dress and see if they could, if it is not too much trouble, make something special. What was that place Lightning said she got her dress from. Carselu Boqtue, no that's not it. Was it Carb Selutqu? No that doesn't sound right. Fancy Dresses, not even close. Bouquet Carousel, okay that one was pretty darn close. Let me think here, the store, umm it was called, Carousel Boutique. That's the store, sweet hot stallions. Why did it take me so long just to remember a name of a place I heard a few minutes ago? I really got to write things down and remember those things more often. I just don't know why I seem to be forgetting everything all the time. Maybe it's because I love Lightning more than anything, I would happily die just for her. Speaking of my marefriend, I saw Lightning looking at something. I turned to look at what she was looking at and this is what I saw. There was a white coated unicorn with a curled purple mane and tail, wearing some pink frilly dress, and accompanying her was a purple scaled dragon with green spines on top of his head. He wore a fancy tuxedo, and he held a fancy cane in his left hand. Who are those two? I asked myself, because they seem very familiar to me. I notice that they were walking our way, so I bent my head down trying not to make eye contact. "Rainbow?" I looked at Lightning and she was confused what I was doing. "I need to go use the restroom. I'll be right back." I said to her, getting up from my seat and walking away from our table. I probably shouldn't just walk away like that, but right now my head is hurting me like a mother bucker. I found the restroom and decided to use the mare's room. I've been in the stallion bathroom before when I was a little filly. I didn't know that room back then was meant for colts and stallions. I mean the principal, Mr. Grey Storm, of Dale Elementary, talked to me in his office about why I went in there. I told him I had to use the restroom really badly and the fillies restroom had a line built up on the outside of the door, so I went to the boys restroom and used it there. Good thing I got off the hook, and that is the last time I'll remember my principal, Mr. Grey Storm smiling at me and telling me that I had guts to go into a stinking restroom. That was way back then and this is now. Sweet mares in flower fields, why is my head hurting? I looked at myself in the mirror, seeing my own reflection. I don't know why but I checked myself out making sure I wasn't sick or anything. That is when I heard a different voice, "Rainbow darling. Is that you?" Darling. Nopony calls me darling besides Lightning Dust, my marefriend, and all my other friends I made at the Wonderbolt Academy. I looked to my side and I saw the same white unicorn that entered with that dragon fellow. I smiled at her, and I said, "I'm sorry. Do I know you?" "Of course you do dear. It's me Rarity." The white unicorn introduced herself. "Rarity, Rarity, Rarity. Hmmmmmm. Nope, I can't seem to recall meeting you." I said to Rarity, being honest. Rarity looked like she was about to fall over and faint. So I quickly flew towards her and caught her in my hooves. I saw a smile escape her white lips, as she said, "Oh darling. I remember the time at the Young Fliers Competition, you flew after me and a few Wonderbolts, and caught us all from falling towards our fateful end when you performed a Sonic Rainboom at the last second." How did she know about my secret talent? Who is this pony? And why am I still holding her? I gently lifted Rarity back so she was capable of walking on all fours again. I looked at Rarity again and Lightning told me something about a white unicorn, running Carousel Boutique helped her get a dress for this evening. Could this pony be the one Lightning was talking about? I had to know, so I asked, "Did you help out my marefriend get a dress? "Darling you have a marefriend already?!!!!" Rarity shouted excitedly, my ears going deaf from her high pitch squeal. "Yes I do. Do you know her or not?" I said, rubbing both of my ears. "Who's your marefriend darling? I have plenty of other clients and I don't remember my customers." Rarity said to me, looking at me dead in the eyes. "Umm my marefriend is Lightning Dust." I said, sheepishly. "Now I do remember a pegasus with a green coat, an amber mane and tail, and amber eyes, coming into my store and looking for dress and something else." She told me, putting a hoof to her chin. "That pegasus you're talking about is my marefriend." I said, trying not to drag this conversation on for too long. "Well yes I did help her. Such a nice well mannered mare." Rarity said, looking back at me again. "Thank you for helping her." I said, as I turned myself towards the sink, as I began to wash my face. "You're most welcome darling." She said, as I continued to wash my face. "Now I have a question dear." Rarity said, as I looked into the mirror and saw her eyes were piercing into my very soul. "Yes Rarity, What is it?" I asked, trying not to sound scared. "Are you sure you don't remember me?" She finally asked me. Whew I thought for a second she was going to ask something personal. So I replied, "I'm sorry, but I don't." "Well it was worth a try." Rarity said, smiling as she walked over towards the sink next to me. "Well I'll be seeing you again Rarity." I said as I got ready to leave the restroom. But before I could leave Rarity asked me something that I wouldn't forget for the rest of my life. She asked me, "Does Pinkie Pie know you're dating?" I froze in place, my hoof was inches away from opening the door to freedom. But that question made freeze in place, sweat began to form under my brow. I slowly turned myself around to look at Rarity again. This time the white unicorn was looking at me with a intensify glare that could scare a herd of timber wolves back to the Everfree Forest. Who was Pinkie Pie? And what does Rarity know about me? So I replied, "I'm sorry, but I haven't even told her yet." "Darling you must tell her before things get any worse." Rarity told me, as she looked at me dead in the eye. What did she mean things could get worse? Before this conversation gets anymore awkward than it need to be, I opened the ladies room door and walked out of the bathroom. As I was making back to my table, I noticed that Lightning wasn't there. Where did she go? I then notice that there were bits on the table, and a folded up piece of napkin. I grabbed the folded napkin, unfolded it, and I saw it had message written on it. The message read, Dear Rainbow, Thank you for the dinner sweetie. I really did enjoy it. Now to celebrate our anniversary together, I hope you can come home. I have a special present waiting for you when you return. Happy one year anniversary Rainbow I love you. Love forever, XOXOXOXOXO Lightning Dust. So she went back home. Okay I thought I did something bad there for a second. I walked away from the table, and towards the entrance of the restaurant. Just as I opened the door to leave, I was greeted with the same pink earth pony that I met earlier today. This time however, she was staring at me with anger in her eyes. She then said, "Hi Dashie." Sweet Celestia am I ever so in trouble.
