The sun had been blocked by weather control for missing a session of rain the other day. If it wasn't for ponies trotting around with umbrellas you wouldn't be able to tell if it was day. Twilight Sparkle sat outside. She had no umbrella, no coat- nothing. It was easy to see the unicorn was depressed. Her mane was matted, stuck to her purplish coat. She wasn't the pony she used to be, ever since he went missing. Since he went missing, Twilight Sparkle was depressed, sad and angry. She was angry for a reason, not just the loss- but who had done it. Her brother, Shining Armour went missing; Sunday 16th of December at exactly 9:00. There was a cause, a horrible one. Something that she didn't like to speak of, nor does Princess Celestia. Twilight's brother was possessed by King Sombra's spirit, making him often get angry for no reason; attempt to kill ponies or use his magic to freeze Princess Celestia. The cause of how Shining Armour became possessed is unknown. Though, there is a cause of death. Celestia. Yes, Princess Celestia. She had told Twilight Sparkle she had to but it had only made the unicorn more angry. Why hadn't Celestia used her magic to heal him? Why couldn't she just let him live in peace, only killing King Sombra himself? Questions filled the purple unicorn's smart mind. Oh, how she missed her brother more than ever. She just wanted to be with him right now. Twilight didn't exactly want company either. She wanted to be alone. Thinking in depression before she decides to see her brother's grave. Twilight could just imagine her brother's grave easily; Red roses laying on the top as Cadence weeps, digging her hoofs into the ground, Princess Celestia, practicing her speech for the funeral, not caring if Shining Armour had died. Twilight Sparkle shivered, snapping out of her depressive thoughts. The unicorn looked up at the rain drops falling from the grey cotton-like clouds above. A liquid substance ran down her left cheek. She wasn't sure if it was a tear, or just a rain drop that had dropped down, landing on her face. The unicorn stood up slowly, legs shaking as she raised. She had suddenly got an idea. Somehow she could learn a spell to bring Shining Armour back to life! It had to work- somehow. After all, Princess Celestia would be so glad. Or at least, in her thoughts she would be. The purple unicorn started to take steps toward her house. Each step was a hassle. Her legs were weak, making her hardly able to stand or walk. Though the hassle, Twilight Sparkle was determined to do this spell- if it's the last thing she done. Though she had been laying that long that her legs were wobbly, feeling as if they would just snap and make the unicorn fall into the mud- helpless. Luckily, Twilight's legs were not that weak. But if she lay a second longer they could have ended up like that. But really, Twilight Sparkle couldn't care less. She just wanted her brother back- no matter the costs. Even though Twilight Sparkle, in the past, loved her royal mentor. Now, Princess Celestia was like a monster to Twilight. All that she could think of her was a mean, evil princess. But sadly, in Twilight Sparkles mind, Princess Celestia changed. Changed a lot, she was never going to rethink that. Clearing her thoughts, the purple shook her head slowly. If she was a bit more joyful she would have shook it fast. But she was too upset and really, she didn't have the energy to do that. All her energy was gone, gone into her mourning. The mourning went of forever, since she heard the news when she woke yesterday; since now today and it was still going on. Spike had tried to cheer her up, it didn't work. Twilight yelled at him with eyes full of burning fire to stay as far away from her as possible. The main reason the unicorn yelled at him because the dragon was Princess Celestia's 'little helper'. Twilight hated him now, she wish he had gone instead of Shining Armour. Twilight looked ahead, she had just stood day dreaming for the last, what, 1-3 minutes? Twilight let out a annoyed sigh, she needed to get this done now and no later. Twilight was starting to annoy herself with her day dreaming. Every two steps she done she just day dreamed. She really wanted her brother back, no matter how much magic it takes. *** Letting out a sigh of relief, Twilight looked up at her tree-like house. It was a big house with a balcony near her door. The window at the balcony was closed. Spike had probably closed it. The Unicorn used her magic to open the door, a light purple shiny light rounding the door handle as it opened. Twilight stepped into her house. Water dripped over the floor as she clopped onto the wooden floor board. Her mane was a darker color, almost black as it was matted to her head, covering most her her eyes. Her hoofs, covered in mud. She didn't even bother to clean them. Spike looked surprised at Twilight Sparkles arrival but he dared say a word. He just looked and smiled before turning his head quickly around to dust a shelf of Twilight's library. Almost all of the shelves were clean, dusted to perfection. Suddenly, Spike jumped at the sound of Twilight Sparkle's commanding order. "Spike, get me a book to bring something back to life, stat!" Twilight ordered, sharply. She didn't even want to talk to the baby dragon right now- only when her brother is back to normal. "Uh, yes Twilight..." Spike answered stuttering. The baby dragon quickly stepped down from the wooden ladder, eyes on the 'A' section. That's probably were it will be right? Spike ran quickly over to the section he had his eyes on. Section 'A'. Spike was running that fast that he almost tripped over his own feet. Eventually, Spike managed to run properly. Twilight, however was not amused. "Run normal you stupid waste of space!" Twilight yelled at the top of her voice, stomping a hoof onto the wooden floorboard. It was easy to see Twilight was in no mood for laughing, or Spike tripping. She wanted this book and she wanted it right now. The purple dragon cringed at Twilight's yell. She obviously was still in a horrible mood. Though he decided to just find the book and get on with it. The baby dragon throw books off the shelf, trying to find that one book. He was about to give up and half to face Twilight yelling at him when he came across a old book in the back, not even placed right. The baby dragon sent his hand in, making more books fall to the wooden floor. Though, all Spike wanted to know is what that book was behind them all. Spike let out a relieved sigh as his hand grabbed it. He slowly pulled it out. Yes! Exactly what they were looking for! 'After-Life Spells', surely it should be in this! "Twilight, I found it!" Spike called, running over to Twilight Sparkle, the old book in both hands. Spike held up the book to Twilight, it was old- no doubt and it had a pentagon on the front cover carved in gold. Hopefully, Twilight would be a bit happier after finding this. Twilight looked at the book, "After-Life Spells, huh..." the purple unicorn muttered. "Thanks Spike." Twilight said simply, snatching the book out of Spike hands with her magic. "I'll be reading this up in my room.". Twilight began to walk off, carrying the book in the air with her magic as she walked. The unicorn slumped herself onto her soft bed, placing the book on her cotton-like pillow. "Hmm," Twilight muttered, "Lets see what's inside.". Twilight Sparkle opened the book and began to read, it was full of strange pictures- the first page being all about to use the magic responsibly.
