The morning was hot in Canterlot and the sun was just starting to rise. In the distance an enclosed flying carriage being pulled by 2 Pegasus ponies flew through the skies of Equestria. Celestia looked out the window as the carriage approached, she smelt the air which was thick on this particular morning. Sweat rolled down her head as she looked to one side of the room where a pony sat at a desk and sipped apple cider.

The carriage landed and the Pegasus pulling it stayed latched to the carriage. Celestia rolled down the window blinds to the window and turned to the unicorn who sat at the desk and took another sip of her apple cider.

The sliding door on the carriage slid open. Rainbow Dash looked out to see the scenery of Canterlot then spit a mouthful of tobacco chew on the ground and hopped out of the carriage. Fluttershy handed Rainbow Dash her bags she was carrying and Rainbow Dash helped her friend out of the carriage. Applejack was dressed in her typical farming outfit and tipped her hat as she hopped out of the carriage as well.

Rarity was dressed in a fine dress and was about to step out of the chopper when she spotted the chew spit mark on the ground, courtesy of her friend Rainbow Dash. “Dash, do you really have to do that NOW?” Rarity scoffed and Rainbow Dash chuckled. Pinkie Pie was rather erratic and lept out of the carriage, somehow carrying a large bag of something on her back and was able to squeeze through the door of the carriage.

One pony didn’t exit immediately however and had her hindlegs resting on the seat across from her as she lit a cigar and took a large puff and let the cigar smoke ventilate into the carriage. Twilight got onto all fours, still puffing on the cigar, and threw her bags out the carriage doors without care for the items inside then hopped out of the carriage.

Celestia stepped down the front steps of the royal castle and looked out to the element bearers. They all loaded their bags onto the backs of motorized carriages and sat down inside the carriages. Twilight pointed to the castle and the drivers departed for the castle, which was only 50 yards away so they could’ve just as easily walked. Twilight looked around the streets of Canterlot as the carriages drove towards the castle. Ponies watched them as they drove past towards the Canterlot castle.

Several other flying carriages were being loaded up with royal guard ponies and some took off to Celestia only knows where. Twilight’s carriage pulled away from the main convoy as the others drove off to a different part of the castle. Twilight’s carriage parked right in front of the steps of the Royal castle and Twilight hoped out and took a puff on her cigar and removed her sunglasses as she walked up to the front steps. Celestia smiled as her student walked up to greet her.

Twilight took a long drag on her cigar and removed it from her lips and exhaled a large fume of cigar smoke. “Looking good Twilight” Celestia commented with a smile as she shook Twilight’s hoof, “It’s been a long time Princess” Twilight replied back with a heart-warming smile. “Come on inside” Celestia told Twilight and she followed Celestia into the castle.

Celestia rolled out a zoomed in map of the Everfree, “18 hours ago we lost a carriage carrying Princess Cadence and her royal guards on a trip to the Crystal Empire” Celestia informed Twilight who gasped as she heard the information and looked at the map. “We have a transponder fix on their location…here” Celestia informed Twilight as she pointed to a red circle on the map, Twilight studied the map closely then looked up to Celestia “ Does she always travel that deep into the Everfree?” Twilight asked.

“Apparently this was straight off course” Celestia said with a wink “and we’re fairly certain they’re in guerrilla hooves” Celestia informed Twilight who nodded then began examining the map again. “So why don’t you use the royal guard? Why do you need us?” Twilight asked as she took another puff on her cigar.

A voice echoed from the room behind them “Cause some damn fool accused you of being the best”. Twilight turned around with a blunt expression to see who had said that. As she turned she saw it was her old magic competitor Trixie, who smiled and got up from her seat and set down her glass of apple cider. She let out a wide smile as she walked towards Twilight. “Trixie” Twilight called out in a rather surprised voice.

Trixie trotted forward with a slow sway in her trot and she let out a quiet chuckle. “You son of a bitch” Twilight said and they both slapped their hooves together, resulting in a loud CLAP. Their biceps rippled, both were extremely well fit, and veins started to bulge as they each tightened their grip on the other. Twilight started to pull Trixie’s foreleg downwards and Trixie gave out a competitive pant as Twilight started to overpower her in the hoof wrestle.

Twilight looked down to their hooves and smiled as she effortlessly began to slowly push Trixie’s hoof further down. “What’s the matter?... Canterlot got you pushing to many pencils?” Twilight teased as she continued to push Trixie’s hoof down. “Had enough?” Twilight teased, “Make it easy on yourself Twi” Trixie gasped as she tried relentlessly to bring her hoof back up. Sweat began to roll down Trixie’s head as her hoof was pushed further and further down.

Trixie burst into laughter as her hoof was finally brought down and she brought her other foreleg up and placed it on Twilight’s shoulder “Okay, okay, okay old buddy” she said through her laughter. “Didn’t know when to quit eh?” Twilight laughed with a smile, “It’s damn good to see you Twi” Trixie said with a smile.

Twilight looked down to Trixie’s chest to see she was no longer wearing her cape she usually wearing was but rather a fine looking tie. Twilight flipped the tie up “What is this fucking tie business?” Twilight laughed, “Oh come on man forget about the tie” Trixie laughed as she put her hoof around Twilight’s neck and the two began to walk back to the table where the map was.

“I heard about that little job you pulled off in Bearlin, very nice Twi” Trixie commented and Twilight smiled “Yeah like good old days” Twilight said. “Yeah like the good old days, then how come you passed up that job in Saddle Arabia?” Trixie asked. Twilight snickered “Oh that wasn’t my style” she commented as she raised her cigar back into her mouth and lit her cigar. “You got no style Twi you know that, no come on why’d you pass?” Trixie asked.

Twilight began to puff on her cigar and cigar smoke accumulated in front of her face as she exhaled. “We are the Element of harmony bearers, not assassins” Twilight informed Trixie and Celestia and Trixie exchanged glances. “Now… Whatta we gotta do?” Twilight asked. “As you know Cadence is very important, to all of us. Especially with the negotiations with the Crystal Empire” Celestia began but Trixie interrupted her. “Twi what Celestia is saying is Cadence is down in the jungle and is about to get squeezed by a bunch of guerrilla’s and we can’t let that happen” Trixie informed Twilight.

“We need the best” Trixie told her “That’s why you’re here”. Twilight looked to Trixie, then to Celestia then back to Trixie “Go on” Twilight replied. “Simple set up, one day operation. We pick up their trail from the carriage, run em down grab Cadence and get out of the Everfree before any-pony knows we were there” Trixie informed Twilight who gave her a suspicious look.

“What do you mean, ‘we’?” Twilight asked and put emphasis on the ‘we’. Trixie leaned back “I’m going in with yah Twi” she said with a straight look. Twilight turned to Celestia “Princess, we work alone… you know that” Twilight told her with a somewhat annoyed tone. “I’m afraid we all have our orders Twilight” Celestia said in a somewhat disappointed tone “Once you reach Cadence, Trixie will assess the situation and take command of the operation” Celestia informed Twilight, who turned and looked to Trixie with a blunt expression. Twilight lifted her cigar into her mouth and took a long drag of her cigar.

So yeah this idea came to me when I was watching Predator and I thought "Self how many guys are in this group" and I was like "7" and then I thought that'd make a great crossover story
